My
son
is
8
weeks
old
and
at
U3
the
pediatrician
found
an
unexplained
mass
next
to
the
kidney
during
an
ultrasound.
We
were
then
referred
directly
to
the
children's
clinic
and
should
come
straight
away,
which
was
great.
There
they
did
another
ultrasound
and
said
that
it
was
95
percent
adrenal
hemorrhage,
but
for
safety's
sake
they
wanted
to
do
an
MRI
to
be
100
percent
sure.
So
far
so
good.
My
son
and
I
came
to
the
metabolism
station
until
it
is
clear
when
we
can
go
to
the
MRI.
We
were
told
a
few
more
tests
to
be
on
the
safe
side
when
we
were
already
there.
Various
blood
values,
once
urine
was
taken
and
a
cortisol
daily
profile
should
be
created
because
we
would
probably
have
to
wait
two
days
before
we
can
get
into
the
tube.
Everything
went
faster
and
the
next
day
we
were
able
to
go
in,
after
the
MRI
the
ward
doctor
came
and
said
that
of
course
nothing
official
had
been
written
yet
but
everything
still
looked
like
an
adrenal
haemorrhage
and
we
would
get
that
in
writing.
We
should
stay
there
one
more
night
so
that
he
gets
the
sedation
behind
him
and
because
of
the
cortisol
she
said
she
talks
to
the
doctor
if
you
still
have
to
finish
it
because
all
the
other
values
are
good
so
far
and
the
sedation
falsifies
the
profile
anyway
.
Later
she
said
that
you
would
do
it,
but
of
course
you
take
into
account
that
he
hardly
sleeps
at
night
because
he
was
in
a
surge
and
the
values
are
falsified
anyway
because
of
the
sedation.
The
next
day
we
went
home
and
everything
is
fine,
we
thought.
I
called
a
week
later
because
I
should
inquire
about
the
remaining
values,
yes
everything
is
just
fine
the
last
cortisol
value
of
the
day
from
the
sedation
is
increased
but
then
you
know
the
reason,
the
problem
what
they
have
is
that
the
urine
has
disappeared
,
we
should
please
catch
up
again
and
bring
along
what
we
did.
After
that
it
was
said
that
if
we
don't
hear
anything
anymore
everything
is
fine.
Yesterday
we
had
an
ultrasound
check-up
and
should
go
back
to
the
oncology
department,
where
it
came
out
that
they
didn't
know
anything
at
all
that
urine
was
there
so
it
was
collected
again
and
then
suddenly
the
doctor
came
from
the
metabolism
and
said
yes
he
is
sorry
he
has
bad
Messages
but
the
last
cortisol
profile
was
not
the
norm
we
have
to
stay
there
one
more
night
to
do
it
again.
On
the
ward
it
was
then
said
to
try
to
avoid
any
stress
so
that
the
value
would
not
be
falsified,
but
then
decided
to
put
a
bladder
catheter
on
the
little
one
to
take
24
hours
of
urine,
which
was
never
an
issue
before
Sisters
say
why.
In
a
nutshell,
what
came
next,
the
catheter
suddenly
fell
out
in
the
middle
of
the
night
and
you
wanted
to
start
over
again,
which
I
refused
to
do.
Every
time
the
blood
was
drawn,
the
little
boy
screamed
fruitfully
because
the
access
did
not
work
properly,
so
I
was
told
not
bad
if
the
cortisol
doesn't
fit
that
would
be
taken
into
account
...
why
were
we
there
at
all?
And
this
morning
the
doctor
told
me
that
the
important
value
for
cortisol
was
actually
the
first
and
not
the
last
and
the
first
was
okay.
Conclusion,
two
urine
samples
have
been
lost,
new
things
kept
coming
up
to
be
done
to
extend
the
stay
and
I
feel
that
it
has
something
to
do
with
the
fact
that
I
agreed
that
his
results
would
be
used
for
study
purposes
allowed
to.
Suddenly
the
back
of
the
hand
had
to
be
x-rayed
and
and
and
...
In
any
case,
I
should
be
a
little
bit
at
the
values
again
and
get
a
second
opinion.

Mein
Sohn
ist
8
Wochen
alt
und
bei
der
U3
wurde
vom
Kinderarzt
beim
Ultraschall
eine
ungeklärte
Raumforderung
neben
der
Niere
festgestellt.
Wir
wurden
dann
direkt
an
die
Kinderklinik
verwiesen
und
sollten
gleich
kommen
was
super
war.
Dort
machte
man
noch
mal
einen
Ultraschall
und
teilte
mit
dass
es
zu
95
Prozent
eine
Nebenniereneinblutung
ist,
man
aber
sicherheitshalber
noch
ein
MRT
machen
wolle
um
sich
100
Prozent
sicher
sein
zu
können.
Soweit
so
gut.
Mein
Sohn
und
ich
kamen
auf
die
Stoffwechselstation
bis
geklärt
ist
wann
wir
zum
MRT
können.
Man
sagte
uns
sicherheitshalber
würden
noch
ein
paar
Tests
gemacht
wenn
wir
eh
schon
da
sind.
Diverse
Blutwerte,
einmal
wurde
Urin
genommen
und
ein
Cortisol
Tagesprofil
sollte
erstellt
werden
weil
wir
voraussichtlich
zwei
Tage
würden
warten
müssen
bis
wir
in
die
Röhre
können.
Es
ging
dann
doch
alles
schneller
und
am
nächsten
Tag
schon
konnten
wir
rein,
nach
dem
MRT
kam
die
Stationsärztin
und
teilte
mit,
dass
natürlich
noch
nichts
offizielles
geschrieben
wurde
aber
immer
noch
alles
nach
einer
Nebennierenblutung
aussah
und
wir
das
auch
schriftlich
noch
mitgeteilt
bekämen.
Wir
sollten
noch
eine
Nacht
da
bleiben
damit
er
die
Sedierung
gut
hinter
sich
bringt
und
wegen
dem
Cortisol
meinte
sie
sie
spricht
mit
dem
Arzt
ob
man
es
überhaupt
noch
fertig
machen
muss
da
alle
anderen
Werte
gut
sind
die
bisher
vorliegen
und
die
Sedierung
das
Profil
sowieso
verfälscht.
Später
kam
sie
dann
ins
teilte
mit,
dass
man
es
machen
würde
aber
natürlich
berücksichtigt
dass
er
nachts
kaum
schläft
da
er
in
einem
Schub
war
und
sowieso
die
Werte
verfälscht
sind
wegen
der
Sedierung.
Am
nächsten
Tag
ging
es
dann
heim
und
alles
ist
gut,
dachten
wir.
Ich
rief
eine
Woche
später
an
da
ich
da
die
restlichen
Werte
erfragen
sollte,
ja
alles
bestens
nur
der
letzte
Cortisol
Wert
am
Tag
von
der
Sedierung
ist
erhöht
aber
da
kennt
man
ja
den
Grund,
das
Problem
was
sie
haben
ist,
dass
der
Urin
verschwunden
ist,
wir
sollen
bitte
noch
mal
selbst
auffangen
und
vorbeibringen
was
wir
sich
taten.
Danach
hieß
es
wenn
wir
nichts
mehr
hören
ist
alles
gut.
Gestern
hatten
wir
dann
Kontrolltermin
zum
Ultraschall
und
sollten
noch
mal
zur
Onkologie
wo
dann
rauskam,
dass
die
überhaupt
nichts
wissen
dass
Urin
da
ist
also
wurde
noch
mal
aufgefangen
und
dann
kam
plötzlich
der
Arzt
von
der
Stoffwechsel
und
meinte
ja
es
tut
ihm
leid
er
hat
schlechte
Nachrichten
aber
das
letzte
Cortisol
Profil
war
nicht
der
norm
entsprechend
wir
müssen
noch
mal
eine
Nacht
da
bleiben
um
es
neu
zu
machen.
Auf
Station
hieß
es
dann
ja
man
versuche
jeden
Stress
zu
vermeiden
damit
der
Wert
nicht
verfälscht,
beschloss
dann
aber
noch
ein
Blasenkatheter
bei
dem
Kleinen
zu
legen
um
24
Stunden
Urin
zu
nehmen,
was
vorher
noch
nie
ein
Thema
war
auf
Nachfrage
konnte
mir
auch
keiner
der
Schwestern
sagen
wieso.
Kurz
zusammen
gefasst
was
danach
kam,
der
Katheter
fiel
mitten
in
der
Nacht
auf
einmal
raus
und
man
wollte
dann
von
vorne
anfangen
was
ich
verweigerte,
bei
jeder
Blutentnahme
hat
der
Kleine
fruchtbar
geschrieen
weil
der
Zugang
nicht
richtig
funktioniert
hat,
da
sagte
man
mir
das
wäre
nicht
schlimm
wenn
das
Cortisol
dann
nicht
passt
das
würde
berücksichtigt...
Warum
waren
wir
dann
überhaupt
da?
Und
heute
morgen
sagte
mir
der
Arzt,
dass
der
wichtige
Wert
beim
Cortisol
eigentlich
der
erste
sei
und
nicht
der
letzte
und
der
erste
war
on
Ordnung.
Also
Fazit
man
hat
zwei
Urin
Proben
verloren,
andauernd
fielen
neue
Sachen
ein
was
noch
gemacht
werden
muss
um
den
Aufenthalt
zu
verlängern
und
mich
beschleicht
das
Gefühl,
dass
es
etwas
damit
zu
tun
hat,
dass
ich
einverstanden
war,
dass
seine
Ergebnisse
zu
studienzwecken
verwendet
werden
dürfen.
Plötzlich
musste
dann
nämlich
der
Handrücken
geröntgt
werden
und
und
und...
Ich
werde
sollte
wieder
etwas
an
den
Werten
sein
auf
jedenfall
eine
zweite
Meinung
einholen.
