Sorrento is one of the few Italian restaurants in Delhi's five star hotels. It's combined with Grappa bar at the ground floor. So can have fun of the bar with italian food. There's very nice outdoor seating with very good looking lawn, which is sadly of artificial grass. Seating inside is ok type. Food is ok and the prices are as of any other luxary hotel.

m a big fan of eating out in the open and under shaded trees and surrounded by greenery and Sorrentos outdoors eating serves all these requirements. Surrounded by lush well manicured trees and grass and plants, Mother Nature herself makes it so warm and welcoming to be just there.

Good Ambience and good food. Be careful when you order drinks though because at one time the waiter served a 30 ml to my host and insisted that it was a 60 ml. The next time we ordered a 30 ml & it was exactly the same as the 60ml ordered previously. Didn't expect such a thing to happen...may have been a mistake but they should be careful.

Closed for renovations with no communication! Nothing on the website. When we called, someone picked up, told us "in 45 minutes", and hung up. When we came, it was completely dark and clearly under reconstruction. Restaurants of this level should have impeccable communication.

Dined here as I was staying in the hotel and needed a break from the Indian food overdose. Skipped appetizers but enjoyed the focaccia and olive tapenade with it. Opted for the Barbecue chicken pizza which was well made. The base was soft and fresh and the flavours were just right. Dessert had to be tiramisu and was surprised to see it made live at my table. The flavours were bursting and it was the highlight of my meal. I paid 3600 INR for just two dishes and no drinks but nearly INR 1000 goes to taxes and service charges!

Excellent all around. Surprisingly one of the best things was the complimentary foccacia bread. That was divine! One of the best bread I've had (sadly no photo). It came with this semi pureed olive, which is the perfect pairing. The pasta were all delicious. The tuna steak was just average. The portion is on the smaller side. We weren't too hungry, but wish that we had tried the pizza as well. Definitely a nice experience, and a good break from the local cuisine

Pros: Our server Aman made us feel at home. The food is as close to an authentic Italian cuisine as one can get in NCR. Music, ambience, and the overall atmosphere is also emit an Italian vibe. Cons: Expect to pay Rs.4,000 for two without drinks. So not so light on the wallet.

We ended up at Masala Library at the recommendation of a local contact in Delhi. Everything about the experience was fantastic; the setting is beautiful and comfortable, the service was on point without being overbearing, and the food was the best innovative/modern Indian cuisine we had in India. We chose to do the wine pairing as well, and really enjoyed the variety and quality of the wines offered. I highly recommend Masala Library as a special treat during your time in Delhi.

If your looking for amazing dinner This is the place. Couple looking for a classy dinner i would advice you to go to this place Because this place is not very expensive like a 5 star hotel. But I'm sure you will feel that you are in a 5star. Drinks and dinner for two. I would say it will cost you around 3000 - 5000 but totally Depends on what you order. A big thanks to this place coz I am getting getting married to the same girl I proposed in this restaurant More then 2 years ago Thank you

The complimentary bread service was excellent. The Halibut was divine and cooked perfectly. Polite and prompt service. The restaurant wasn't crowded and had a very calm ambiance. Delhi has very few good restaurants and this is certainly one of them.

I was looking for a nice Italian restaurant in delhi for my husbands birthday and we decided to go to sorrento. Chef Arun Thakur went out of his way to make our day special. We ordered a variety of dishes including a salad , pasta, pizza and tiramisu for dessert. Every single dish was made extremely well and the presentation was to die for. Our server Miss Rajni was very welcoming and helped us select the dishes. On the whole the experience was fantastic and I would recommend this place to Anyone looking for an excellent Italian fine dine restaurant in Delhi. Once again a very special thank you to Chef Arun Thakur.

Dining here is not just about the food but it's a panoramic experience . Each table has a private server who would make sure you have a pleasant meal. I had the 19 course set meal. I would surely recommend a first time visitor to try it. The 19 course will introduce you to vast cuisines available in the country. The flavors are authentic and do justice to each region they come from, while the presentation is modern. One dish that stood out for me was the lobster in coconut sauce which was part of the main course. They have limited seating, so they ensure that each customer gets the perfect treatment.

Inside Shangri-La hotel is this upscale Italian restaurant. We are told they outsource their ingredients from Italy. While I will give five star for ambiance and service (to mention name of Mr Vicky, who helped us in making out choices), there was something missing in transparency for rates on water bottles. Food is tasty but portions are small. So I doubt this place will be popular with young generation. The Arancini as starter are really tasty. Vegetarian choices are limited. Live kitchen is visible from all tables. Bread platter starters are very good. Appreciate staff.

We had a delightful time discovering the tasting menu at Masala Library. The chef paid a lot of attention to the presentation of the dishes. The serving staff were attentive, though sometimes a bit hasty, serving my partner his next dish before I had finished mine.

There is a huge bar area before you enter the dining area. There is a good selection of drinks on the menu We tried the 12 course menu Some of the dishes are made at your table Portions are good especially if you're having 12 different things. Service was great and the waiters were attentive

After much anticipation, Masala Library opened its doors in Delhi in mid 2016, in a totally transformed luxury car showroom. This restaurant, which specializes in experimental molecular gastronomy, first took Mumbai by storm and is one of the city's iconic Indian cuisine restaurants. It was launched there in 2013 by Jiggs Kalra, a renowned Indian food columnist, author, gastronome and food consultant. Don't expect the menu to be the same though. The young chef in the restaurant's Delhi branch, Saurabh Udinia (who previously assisted Indian Accent's Manish Mehrotra), visited 15 states in India to discover the everyday dishes being cooked in homes and give innovative twists to them. If you have plenty of time and an empty stomach, opt for the 19 course tasting meal to sample everything. Vegetarians are well catered f

Went to this place at around 12:30 PM on Sunday afternoon after booking it a week in advance. Ambiance of the place is amazing and staff well informed about dishes, their origins and presentation. I opted for non veg 19 course menu and my friend opted for veg menu. Some of the food which i really liked was : Madur vada rasam : Small vada along with rasam prsented in a transparent plastic tube. Vada went really went with the rasam. Bajra roti and homemade makkhan- This was surprisingly unbelievable in taste while looks decent in presentation. Deconstructed samsosa- This was the best of the lot and is a must try at this place. Charcol bhajiya- Classical mumbai bhajiya cooked in charcol. It was cooked to perfection. Mushroom chai - It is basically mushroom soup with small portions of mushrooms presented like a tea. It was tasty and appetizing. Galouti kebab- This was also really tasty and presentation was unique like it is with any other dish. Mizo stew- This is a chicken soup from north east and is veey delicious. Litti chokha- Very famous dish from bihar. Dal served along with it was very tasty. I had pepper lamb and appam shell for main course. In desserts, we were served bappa doi, cheena payesh and ashen kulfi. We also had jalabei cavier and belgian chocolate ganache. All of the desserts were amazing in taste and provided a perfect ending to a great brunch. I would definitely recommend this place to foodies to experience everyday food with amazing innovation. Scrumptious food meets great ambience meets exceptional service under one roof at The Masala Library. I thoroughly enjoyed the 19 course meal (A la Carte is also available). The food was exquisite, the servers were brilliant, they explained in detail about the ingredients used to prepare the dishes and historical significance. It is fair to say that the lunch could be described as a journey into one of the finest dining experiences anyone can ever have. When in Delhi, this is a must visit place.

Went here for my mom's birthday was disappointed with the overall experience. They served us a raw chicken piece, service was bad and the food taste was average in most cases. The only things that were nice were the drinks, bruschettas and defor. The service was slow and unconcerned. We got 4 menus for 8 ppl. We didn't get a bread basket after asking 3 times and waiting for 20 mins, almost the same time as the starters. And when we raised the issue of our chicken mialanese being raw, nobody responded for 20 mins. Overall wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

One of the best experiences I had here. The place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and cooperative. I went specifically for the live tiramisu and because of some chef change they were not able to give it for that day. But as it was my birthday and we requested if anything else could be done, the other chef came and did the live tiramisu just for us. It was really special. Thank you so much for the best experience, Sorrento.

I’m writing this while stuffing my face with green delicious pasta. My daddy is annoying me but that doesn’t stop me from adding more olive oil to this celebration of taste and colour They even gave me a glass of warm milk and extra dessert 🧁

Super friendly staff, great ambience. One of the best Italian food I’ve had in my life. You can see and appreciate how your food is cooked by the chefs here, which adds an extra oomph to the overall experience. You should try their pasta and soup Quantity wise it’s good but the presentation and taste is right up there. You will regret it if you miss the meal.

The place is good, food is good, but if you are looking for authentic or near authentic Italian taste then may be a disappointment. Another gesture which was bit disappointing was that they changed the size of wine glass to small (take away the big one at your table) if you order for wine other than indian ones.

Good place to eat continental food. The dishes are tasty. However we got shocked with the espresso price. More than 600₹ the single shot is a never seen in India. As discussed with the manager, I really hope you will either decrease the price or inform the client when they order cause it’s indecent to pay this price for coffee. Even in the fanciest place in historical places it’s never that expensive.

Wonderful ambience and atmosphere. The food taste was amazing. All covid precautions taken as well. The only reason for deducting one star is the place is a bit too pricey, even in terms of fine dining. A regular meal for two will easily cost you north of 8-9k.

The wild mushroom risotto was actually very good. However, the serving size portion was very very small. For INR 1795/- I would actually want a bigger portion. This is not a tasting sampler. When I saw INR 336/- service charge I did not feel happy at all. The least they could have done was to ask me before getting this billed into and would have happily agreed to pay. I did pay anyway however, would ensure I call this out next time. Knowing that I am a TAJ Epicure and Club ITC Culinaire member, my server spent 10 minutes pitching the Shangri-La Circle loyalty programme. I kept on telling him will do it later :( I personally felt, since I have dine-in in the so called 'majority of the luxury places' in Delhi-NCR, the pricing for Sorrento is way high !!

So this time I wanted to have fine dining experience. My cousins have visited this place in Mumbai and there views about place made me more eager to go this place. So we done the booking in advance so that we don't have to wait for long. I request the readers if you are planning to visit this place on weekends please book in advance. As we seated waiter came to us and he introduced himself and gave the outline of the concept of there restaurant. first lets talk about the ambiance. The ambiance of the restaurant is just wow. As soon as you enter there is a huge bar section  with all classy single malt whisky and all the exotic variety of wine's and champagne. They have varieties of cocktails and mocktails. So we ordered two cocktails one was masala library special  which was really special and they way of making was eye catching which makes your feeling more excited to have it and other drink we ordered was having  mixture of gin and rum, sorry I don't remember the name of the drink but don't worry you will like all the other drinks also/ Second food and presentation. So it's a fine dining so the taste of food and presentation is very important and bet you will not be disappointed at all. So they have 2 types of course one is a Al carte i.e you can choose your own dish and order and other one is chef menu i.e 19 course meal which take almost 2-3 hours to complete. In this waiter will bring you 19 types of dishes one by one freshly prepared by the chef and how its prepared and what ingredients it is having and how to have it. This 2-3 hours journey will be full of spices, different tastes of different cities and states and mesmerizing. They will start form snacks and end with  sweet dish. Some of you might be thinking that how a person can eat 19 meals, don't worry they will bring such amount that the person can enjoy that dish and have enough space in his/her stomach so that it can relish each and and every dish specially prepared by chef. If you found bitter taste in the dish you can simply say to the waiter or ask the chef to change it accordingly. Since it's a fine dining customer service will be the best. Every table will have there own service or you can say to someone else also. Since it's fine dining it will be costly. We were 3 members and it costed around 12000/-.

Super friendly staff, great ambience. One of the best Italian food I’ve had in my life. You can see and appreciate how your food is cooked by the chefs here, which adds an extra oomph to the overall experience. You should try their signature sea food pasta and soup. Bruschetta and Lasagna were also out of the world. Quantity wise it’s not on top but the presentation and taste is right up there. You won’t regret your time spent here.

The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, with a modern and stylish decor. The bar area was lively and offered a great selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. The menu had a wide range of options, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, as well as small plates for sharing. The food was flavorful and well-presented, with plenty of options to satisfy any palate. I particularly enjoyed the chicken wings, which were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The food and drinks were top-notch, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming.

We were all excited to visit this restaurant in Delhi based on all the fantastic reviews that we had read. Needless to say; we were not disappointed...in fact, if anything, the whole experience surpassed our imagination. We all ordered for the chef's taster's menu which had a 19-course meal routine. Each dish, from the starter to the desserts were top-grade in terms of presentation and taste. It was unbelievable to see that the Indian cuisine could be presented in such a manner...the deconstructed samosa, the jhal-moorie cookie, the mutton inside a puri, the mushroom chai, the levitating dark chocolate, the jalebi in a completely different avatar...the list just goes on. I would also like to commend the servers' knowledge and the details they shared...and lastly, the ambiance and location of the restaurant is a class apart. Looking forward to visiting it again already. Three cheers!!

Great food! The minestrone di legumi soup, risotto al funghi, and strudel al funghi were amazing! The gelatos were pretty average. They can pay a bit more attention to the ambience. On one hand, they had calm theme music playing and on the other, there was very loud pop music coming from the adjacent restaurant. It got a bit bothersome and definitely affected the dining experience.

They follow 19 course meal which is a unique factor.. and i loved galouti kabab's , Dark chocolate mousse and Banana leaf charcoal infused cheese and honey toast. No wonder it is obnoxiously expensive and quantity they serve is too less. other than this i have no complaints.

We arrived and were shown to our table by staff who then had to rearrange all the surrounding tables and chairs to accommodate other guests - very noisily dragging them around and we had to ask for drinks again. Definitely unimpressed with the waiter service, however, the manager seemed to realise what was going on and took over the service which rapidly improved. I had the homemade pasta which was exceptionally good, definitely the best I have tasted. Overall experience good, would have been much better if the restaurant had been able to organise the tables before we arrived.

A great place for Italian fine dining. A cozy atmosphere in the restaurant with open kitchen makes an amazing ambience for lunch or dinner. Great homemade pasta.

What a beautiful and pleasant day to appreciate this outstanding coffee shop that I visited earlier. I was astonished by their service and place. It was all tidy and clean. Perhaps, I was touched by the beautiful and handsome crews that showed the curved in their lips as they served me well. For me, everything was perfect. From the good taste of their coffees to the sweetness of their pastries, all that I could say was Wow. I’ll be back soon!

👍👍 Absolutely love their rice combos. Paneer rice is my all time favourite. Great option for dinner, if you work nearby. If you're looking for a place for quick bites, then you need to visit this place.
