A really good place to enjoy South Indian food. We tried chettinad dosa and 2 flavored podi mini idli. Both were just amazing. Sambhar and chutney were also really good. Idly were soft and the dosas were crispy. We also ordered badam milk. That was not up to the mark. I didn't like the taste.

With the original idea of dining at HSB when we went, having seen huge waiting outside HSB, we decided to walk into this huge restaurant- which was equally full but we managed a table at the fag end of the restaurant near the kitchen. Very, in fact highly professional service, very tasty food. The wait staff constantly checking out about the food & more so, bringing the next item you order only after checking with the guest, shows their professionalism. On the food part, everything was very tasty, quite authentic. All the three friends of us really enjoyed our meal. In fact two of us returned for one more dinner the next day, before leaving Delhi. Would highly recommend & for sure will be back.

Always a go to place for healthy & filling food. We were there at breakfast time. Restaurant is clean with ample amount of sitting space and charging ports. We ordered cheese dosa, idli chaat and ice cream sizzler.

In a group where everyone wants to have a different cuisine then this is the perfect place. We ordered Navratra's special paneer masala, Dosa which was without onion and garlic and the taste was also very good. One mandatory masala dosa also one south Indian thali in which halwa was best. From north Indian cuisine, we ordered Shahi paneer with butter naan and tandoor roti. I won't recommend ordering mushroom chilli which I don't find up to the mark.

We went to this restaurant as there was waiting in the next restaurant. Food quality was good, place was very neat and clean. Toilets are on the first floor, and are very neat and clean. Staff is professional and there is enough number of waiters to attend to customers promptly. I don't understand why they try to sell Chinese and north Indian food. Their south Indian food is very good. Idli Chaat was very good. There is enough parking very nearby.

Had a quick bite here with a friend over weekend. Place was full, but we got seats quickly. Servers took some time to bring menu. Food however came very fast. Dosa was good. Sambar was good. Kara Chutney was awesome. filter Coffee was good.

Today we visited here and ate 5 Poori, bhaji with kurma and 4 Pieces of Dal vada with sambhar. Dal vada, sambhar with coconut chutney was so tasty, Dal vada was so crispy and hot. Whole atmosphere was so nice. Very nice seating facility is available here.

I visited the restaurant with my friends last week and I must say that the overall experience was exceptional. Firstly, the restaurant was very well-maintained and had a pleasant ambiance. The staff was courteous and welcoming, and we did not have to wait for long to get a table (Usually in peak hrs -12pm-02Pm, 04pm-06pm & 8-11pm you need to wait for entry due to high crowd . The service was prompt and efficient, and the staff was always ready to assist us with our requests. Moreover, the food quality was outstanding. The dishes were well-prepared and had the perfect blend of spices and flavors. The presentation was also very appealing, and we could not resist taking pictures of the food before digging in. In addition to this, the hygiene standards were maintained properly. The tables were clean and well-arranged, and the washroom was also spotless. Overall, I would say that the experience was worth every penny we spent. I would like to commend the management and staff of Sagar Ratna for providing us with such a delightful dining experience. I would highly recommend Sagar Ratna to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a comfortable and hygienic environment.

A very warm eating outlet with a huge frame of Tirupati Balaji. The service was prompt, quick with friendly servers. The location of this place is also a key. We saw a lot of office-goers and families walk in the place. It had a certain warmth that draws you. The ever smiling staff just wins your hearts.

Excellent Serene Experience. Platter is outstanding at 400. Dosas are fabulous as ever. Service is terrific though some problem with air conditioning which will subsidize over next few days as they plan to have the service done. All in all a great fun filled experience. The taste of all dosa we eat are too much tasty. The garlic dosa is best I ever eat till now.. The best thing I had here is meeting a branch manager Kuldeep Raj Gupta, his sense of humor and dealing a situation with customers with patience are make me his biggest fan. Kuldeep Raj Gupta is a person with quality to become even prime minister, what a good person I meet today.

Nice place to have decent South Indian food. Love the taste. Budget friendly. They will take time to prepare your food but it’s worth waiting for.

Nice restaurant went there on the new years and had to wait outside almost for 30mins in the freezing cold but it served to be worthy or else I would’ve been disappointed. Lovedddd the Dahi Idli Chaat ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Majority of my stars are for just this one dish. We had Uttapam and also Veg Biryani but that wasn’t toooo appealing. Obviously the price is higher and the uttapam didn’t have salt properly (you can expect that on a stall but not at such nice restaurant) but Biryani was more like Masala rice you don’t get the gravy or that authentic taste for Biryani (you can just have it once as it isn’t that bad. Whatever rice you name it, that was fine and tasted well but it definitely doesn’t go well for Biryani)

Lovely restaurent with specialization in south indian dishes located in the most famous CP area of Newl Delhi. Very spacious, beautifully decorated and delicious servings,staff is courti ous & well mannered, eager to serve you well.

IF YOU WISH to have a good south indian experience while being in CP, SAGAR is the go to place. Good seating space. Quality service. Rich and hygienic food. And still better with the price range offered by similar restaurants in the area.

The food quality and service is very nice. I ordered deluxe thali and Rasham. It was tasty.

I enjoyed the food however I visited during the evening hours and the place was still getting cleaned so it took 10 minutes of waiting for us to get our desired table.

"Old wine in Old bottle with increase in price" We visited Sagarratna after along break of 5 Years at CP, The occupancy was limited with covid protocol. FURNITURE AND CUTLERY IS still OLD 🧓, ordered multiple dishes and the food quality is gud though the quantity has been significantly reduced and all attached freebies including Chaach, Rasam and papad is now paid 😊

After walking around CP for a while looking for something not too spicy to eat, we happened upon this gem of a restaurant. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the Idli Chaat was out of this world. Mixed vegetable Uttapam was also very tasty. Rava Kesari and Gulab Jamun rounded out a great meal.

Enjoyed the delicious Sagar Special Thali with 2 vegetables, dal, flavored rice, rasam, sambhar, 4 pooris, rice, aplam, pickle, curd and a sweet for 295 rupees.

Good variety of veg breakfast options but they can work on their chutneys more. If you fancy a colorful variety of mini idli then do try.

Food was not up to the mark. The mix veg and kadhai paneer was bland. Rest Mysore dosa and dahi vada was good though. Compared to the North Indian dishes, South Indian are good.

Went there for morning breakfast, ordered 3 items- 1). Idli plate(it comes with sambhar,coconut chuttney and chilly sauce) you can have as much as extra saambhar you want, 2). Mysore rava masala dosa( it was very crispy and yummy in taste) 3). Simple common masala dosa( it came with a dahi vada platter combo), its a good deal go for it, dahi vada was fresh and quality of curd was good

Tried sagar Ratna in Delhi after a long time in CP. They seems to be losing there touch of South Indian food. Cost wise they are still reasonable #Delhi #Food #CP #India

A nice place to have dinner with your family. We reached there around 10pm.. they keep air conditioning at quiet lower temperature than outside so you might feel cold initially but as soon as you start eating hot meals you will feel normal.. we order idli fry which was the best 😍also we have medu vada, rasam aplam mysore dosa and mix veg soup .. vada was very soft and tasty . Mix veg soup was also good. But dosa were below expectations

One of the best restaurant in Connaught place food is really awesome however the quantity is not very much for 4 people it is a suggestion that you should increase the quantity of food in a manner that people can easily eat and enjoy

Good clean place in CP for food especially south Indian cuisine, courteous staff and maintaining high quality hygiene in corona times. Worth a visit. This time I went there when corona position is under control, it was nice to see many people enjoying dinner there.

One of the best and authentic South Indian food served here. I have moved down to South but make it a point to visit Sagar Ratna when in Delhi... this time I tried Podi Idli and their special thali, and it was simply superb, lite on stomach and cost...

I am quite surprised by the place, sagar ratna being complete south indian selling Chinese too.well it may be effect of covid agreed Overall 7/10 as things good to ok for me...may be because of rush or place...good place to go

A South Indian themed Dine-In/Take-Out Restaurant in Connaught Place. It is a fine cozy space for authentic South Indian cuisine. I loved the humble infrastructure and amenities provided by the place.

The service is good. There snacks platter is good one. Cleanliness is there. Seating facility for big gatherings. Staff is very nice.

The dosa was well made and tasty for me I don’t get the big taste in there chutney and Sambar.

It was good. However; they did not follow the order correctly. But taste wise it was great!

I was there 2nd time . Before I tried dosa and filter coffee and they were good This time I tired dosa with idli chaat and they both were superb But , yeah there is a but I tried chocolate shake and it was not upto the mark So either make it better or just remove from your menu 😂

The quality of food was good but the portions were not at all up to the mark. Literally it was like they are serving food for a small kid. Then comes the services, it was not at all good. Took so long to prepare the food. Even the housekeeping wasnt good at all, everybody was putting things on each other instead of doing it.

Don't go on ratings place is not elegant... Food is also bad and overprice
