One of the best Chhole Bhature giants of Delhi. This place is located in Pahrganj. Having heard of this place from various people, I was eager to try this place out. There was a huge rush for Chhole at this shop. However, the waiting time is not so long and the process is pretty fast. They offer a full plate as well half plate. Only Chhole or only Bhature can also be purchased. Delivery is also available here. At the counter, you need to pay and get a token. You need to submit the token onwards and get your plate thereafter. Chhole is extremely delicious. The colour of Chhole is brownish and served hot. Chhole is served with fresh onions, carrots and chilli and are garnished with green chutney at the top. Along with Chhole, there are small pieces of potatoes. What I liked here the most are it's Bhature. Bhature are extremely fluffy. There's no hint of oil in it. That's something which is very rare in shops. Small hints of paneer is felt in Bhature. You need to stand and eat there, as there's rush all day. Lassi and Kulfi are also available. Price: 70 Rs, Full plate

We went there for Sunday breakfast. Pleasant experience. My score 8/10. Choley, pickles were good but bhatura fell below expectations. My preference is kadak, crunchy, crispy hot bhaturas.. these were precooked, more like kulchas filled with paneer. Heavy … off course. Choley bhature is heavy and something I venture out to eat once in 8 months.

#CholeBhature #Delhi Delhi's most famous Chole Bhature! Sita Ram Diwan Chand! Taste was phenomenal! Chole were delicious! Perfectly spiced and the hint of ginger and that masala aloo in it! Bhatura's were a bit chewy as they prepare it in advance and once again heat them on tawa. Overall, must try! Price:- 74₹

Atmosphere is cramped and dull. Food is just ok, not worth the hype nor worth the trouble. Had chole bhature and lassi. One can get half plate, which is a single bature for 45 rs.

After years of constantly talking about this iconic spot, yesterday we finally got here. All I can say is, it was worth the wait! 😍🫣 The Bhature was flat but was fluffy and filled with paneer super tasty. 🤤 The chole was perfectly spiced and topped with a chutney that elevated it's flavours. So next time you visit Delhi, eat here and thank me later! ❤️

Went early morning to have chhole bhature from this very well known place. I've been hearing about it since quite a while, so finally i tried it out. I wasn't expecting it to be open but it was open around 8:30-9 am as well.. They don't have a sitting, but they do have these tables where you can stand and eat. They have kept pickle, onions and tissues there.. I had a plate of chhole bhature with lassi 1) Chhole- 9 ( 80/- chhole bhature plate) Served in "Dona" with some peppermint chutney on top ( I'm not sure though, that's how it tasted. Somewhat greyish in colour) 2) Bhature- 9 It was something different, I've not had something like this ever before, and I'm a huge chhola bhatura fan, so trust me, I've tried at alot of places. It was kind of stuffed with panner and boiled potato i guess. They don't just give it to you right out of kadhai.. it didn't look like a fully friend and fulla hua bhatura . It tastes different but good kind of different 3) Sweet lassi- 10 (Rs.40/-) super yummy loved it They were pretty warm asked us to eat first and then pay rather than taking the payment first, sweet. They have their history on the walls and it made me feel good to see our Indian citizens grow. I wish they had a proper air-conditioned seating arrangement though. I have also added a photo of their rates. So you can check it out.

Best chole bhature I have ever had, ever since childhood i was fascinated about the chole bhature we get in delhi. Came all the way from Maharashtra to eat them and they were worth every penny! The owners are humble. The taste is superb. The achars they serve with the dish were lip-smacking.

This shop is pretty famous for serving some of the best chole bhature in Delhi. And if it’s the best chole bhature in Delhi, they’re probably the best, period. They top their chole with spicy potatoes and mint chutney; they are rich and perfectly spiced. Very very good. The bhature aren’t fresh out of the oil. I’m sure they’re generally fresh, considering the massive turnover of food, but they make them in batches, and toast them on a dry pan before serving. This gives them a pretty unique texture. They’re fluffy, soft, and bready. If you’re someone who likes a crisp bhature or the huge ballon kind which crackle and shatter, you’re not gonna like this. I found them inoffensive. The sides you get with your meal could be seasonal; we got onions and a green chilli pickle. Both were great. Washed it down with some sweet lassi, which was pretty standard stuff, but did the job. This place is never not crowded, so you’re going to have to join a queue to get your food. But they’re well staffed and accustomed to the rush. We went for lunch on a Sunday, and got our food in under 10 minutes. There are no chairs. You stand, you eat, you get out. If you’re taking the metro, get off at RK Ashram Marg on the blue line; it’s a five minute walk.

The place is good and really hygienic Taste was good 😋 The chole are stuffed with paneer inside and they gave unlimited achar and onions. They cost me 80 rs per plate. As I'm non vegetarian 😃 though I like it and their sucees story is amazing. You can read it on their walls.

Great chole and bhature. Perfect level of spice. Not too strong/spicy or too hot. Sweet lassi was good too. Fast and efficient service.

Other than for nostalgic reasons, there isn't much to brag about. Average on all fronts, be it food, taste, quality or ambiance. But the only positive thing is that there is no compromise on the quality of food, be it a local dilliwala or a Desi or a foreigner for that matter, no tension food, no worry on quality, no risk of getting sick. The bhature here contrary to the common style are not fluffy or served piping hot, rather they are flat, oily and reheated before being served. Accompanying Chole too are a bit over done with masala. Probably that is the style Kohli Saab wanted, but then not something I would prefer every now and then, a one off is still fine bundled with nostalgia associated with SRDC. The marinated seasonal gaazar and chilli is a delightful combination. BTW lassi was a big disappointment, wonder why it is being even served. No one wants a watery laasi where you can even taste water. Cost wise it is still down to earth and reasonable, considering the hygienic conditions. All in all, visit again and again if that satisfies your inner aatma. A must go place for everyone visiting Delhi, or even if your train has a pitstop at Northern Delhi Railway station. nH Jan2024

They do one thing and it extremely well: chole bhature. The accompanying pickled vegetables are also remarkable, bringing and acidity and spice was to the already deliciously smoky Chana masala. This is a can’t miss good eats spot, especially if you love Punjabi food as much as I do!

(Jan 2020) I was the only foreigner there during lunch time. It was packed with local people. The staffs (and maybe manager also) was super nice to me. They showed me how to order and explained the way to eat their special dishes. Well I still don't know what did I order but it was good and sooo spicy haha. What I love most about it is the real taste of what local love. They have many types of complimentary side dishes. And everybody had to stand and eat. To me it was such an experience!

The place strictly means business, no pomp, no showoff. They only have Chole Bhature and Lassi on the menu. They excel at both of those. It was a little crowded when we visited on Saturday. There is no sitting and dining, there is self service. The place is bustling, and the food is a must try! Bhature has stuffing which is unique to this outlet. Overall a good experience.

Food - 4.5/5 Ambience - 3.5/5 Service - 3/5 The chole bhature is really nice over here. Service can be better. But the fold covers it all. The price was decent but okay with the place and taste.

The shop is easily accessible but finding a parking spot for your 4wheelers will be a difficult task as this shop is located in a very busy market, so it’s better to park your vehicles outside(RK Ashram’s Metro parking). Chole bhature here is average(bhaturas are already fried and are reheated when an order comes). Nothing sort of covid protocols was being followed(could hardly find the staff wearing masks also there were no temperature checks on arrival).

I have been a big chola bhatura fan and visited Sitaram upon hearing wonderful things about them. The chola were good but I could not understand the concept of ready reheated bhaturas ment. Since my childhood, bhaturas ment steaming hot from the oil. I had never had ready reheated bhaturas before. So, I'd say my experience was above average only. Places i recomend are Radheshyam in Pahar ganj and kaka in Lajpat Nagar. The best chola bhatura in town.

Recently, I tried this famous Chole bhature from paharganj and I must say I loved it. The bhaturas were so big and the filling was super tasty. Coming to cholas, the spices were accurate and loved the taste. It was served achar, onion and chutney. I also had lassi which was also yummmy. I am definitely gonna try this yummy plate of Chole bhature again.

This restaurant is most famous for their channa bhathura. It has limited seating capacity and you have to stand and eat. The channa with aloo subji is really awesome and bhathura is stuffed with paneer and chilli. They also serve pickled chilli and hog plum along with onion.

Its really really wrong to say these are Delhis best Chole Bhature. Shahdara and adjoining areas have many great Bhatura Joints who taste awesome, however SRDC serve good and tasty chole bhature handling huge volumes with consistency. They are located in prime central location (near RK Ashram Metro station). You won't be disappointed, they are good, but don't over expect. Anyways they are among the iconic joints to visit in Delhi due to their legacy.

Sita Ram Diwan Chand-Since the food joint is in a very crowded place, i suggest use public transport instead of a car. Food- I wasn't keen to have pre-fried and reheated bhatura but they have proven me wrong. It tastes very good with the delicious Channa, Mirchi and gooseberry pickle. It worth going once.

Sitaram Diwan Chand. The weight that the name carries, the taste lacks the kick. Still ruling as one of the best cholle bhature in Delhi NCR, their taste has recently declined. But those who have been coming here for years still continue to be loyal. Serving tawa heated bhatura's which basically turns into a flatbread lacks the crispiness required. Cholle are great. Best part about their cholle bhature is complimentary salad and pickle provided on each table. They have ventilated their outlet and added air conditioning which certainly helps the overall experience in this scorching heat.

Although the chole bhature was good, but I think one thing they lack is there way of serving pre-fried bhatura's. They should serve the fresh bhatura's. Just a kind suggestion, overall the experience was nice. I've also ordered their Lassi. That was really amazing. No flavor added. Just the traditional and conventional Lassi. Ambience is good, fully AC conditioned. Location- It is at walking distance from RK Ashram Metro Station. Don't take any E-Rikshaw or alternative to go there as they will charge you around 20 Rs per person, which is totally not worthy enough to pay. You can easily go there by own.

Many times I've heard the name of sita ram diwan chand, famous for their chole bhature, located in paharganj. But to be honest, i don't like much as I've tried much tastier chole bhature then them. They keep their bhaturas ready beforehand, fried early in the morning and when somebody requires, they heat them again and then serve them and chole were fine. They've no seating arrangements, you just have to stand their and eat as they have arranged the tables inside the outlet. They are famous for their chole bhature . This place remains crowded almost everyday especially in the weekend mornings. Yes you can try them once to know how actually their chole bhature tastes.

I went there to taste the famous "Ram ke Chhole bhature" with my friends. Firstly the place is in main market and generally quite crowded. Secondly the chhole bhature were good but I've eaten better at Rajouri garden :) and the price too seemed slightly more than reasonable. The service was good and efficient but there was no seats for sitting and eating...we had to eat while standing which might feel drowsy and bad during the hot summer of Delhi 🥵

Great taste lives upto the expectation that it had set over last 50 years. Had an amazing experience just that the rush here had made it difficult for the owners to create everything fresh from scratch hence they create everything beforehand and just heat it and deliver.

A typical upscale restaurant serving only north Indian/ punjabi cuisine. As it was a sunday evening, the restaurant was pretty much full but the service was quick. The food was good too. But most of the beers on the menu were not available except a few. We were happy with the staff and overall had a nice experience.

Today we visited Punjab grill in select City walk we ordered starter which served cold when we complaint they took that and again served little bit warm . Main course was pathatic in taste tandoori roti was little soggy not crispy .In name of fine dining they are just doing khana purti. Pathatic Experience. Very Disappoint.

Comfortable place to sit in and dine. Very cosy restaurant and very posh looking. The service was excellent, brilliant service and care. As soon as you are seated they make sure you get the best experience possible. At the arrival of food, they poured food on our plate which felt very luxurious. The food tasted very nice, very yummy. I would say there was salt lacking on some of the food which I think needs to be looked on. You will be serviced charged but that wasn't a surprise as most places now service charge is included, plus the service that we received was worth the service charge on my bill. Highly recommend and if I do ever get a chance again, I will come back.

The food here is outstanding and service is quick as well. They have maintained proper hygiene in these covid times. The plates are properly sealed in a paper bag and kept on each table for the customers to open themselves.

This restaurant used to serve good quality food at highly over priced rates. However, the taste of the food now is completely blunt and plain and doesn’t even match the standards of the roadside dhabas. Most importantly the determination in food quality, quantity and taste is beyond cure and the rates seem to be exorbitantly increasing every day. I took my seniors and their family for dinner on 25th of Dec this year and was disappointed to taste their every meal. Disgusting experience. Think twice before visiting this restaurant. They served tossed broccolis instead of kasundi broccolis. I can keep on disgusting them but the point is now they are a brand and they dont bother to think about their customers.

its located on the third floor of Select Citywalk. The interiors are a little dull and boring. The menu is brilliant with a lot of variety thought slightly overpriced. We ordered the Kebab platter. Overall the quantity was good as was the variety. However, everything on the platter turned out bland. We had to ask for another variant of the chutney too, something that had spices in it. The mutton pieces on the platter didn't look too good. They were too dark and slightly overcooked. my husband fell ill after that meal. so I think we are not going back anytime soon.

I so wanted to try chole bhature of sita ram diwan chand and it was worth it. The cholr bhature is so delicious and i personally like their chole who taste like it is home made. This place is originally in Paharganj and i feel just that they should give hot and fluffy bhature instead of just making it before hand. Overall it is worth the price and so delicious . I would love to recommend who is in North delhi and want to have relish taste of chole bhature 😍

  • 4/5 abhishek c. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best Chhole Bhature in Delhi. It is located in Pahar Ganj and they serve only Chhole Bhature and Lassi. The waiting time here is actually 0 as they have sufficient number of staff and the Bhaturas are already prepared in advance. So they just heat it on a tava/pan, and serve the bhatura, and that is the only reason why i couldn't give it 5/5 as the Bhature was still good, but not the best. So my only suggestion is if they could serve Bhaturas just off out of oil, then it would be awesome. The Lassi was okay. I'd recommend to definitely try it atleast once.

Nothing special. We drove 55 mints to reach this restaurant to have chole bhatore but disappointed with dish. Taste is as common as other restaurants. Very crowded. I saw on youtube blogger that its very tasty and different but didn’t find anything different in taste and serving style. Fast service and cooperative staff.

This is a shop operated by the same management of Sita Ram Diwan Chand. Here one can buy the original masala (spice mix) that is used by the restaurant. They even deliver out of Delhi by courier service.
