I DO NOT Recommend this hotel to anyone. Stayed here for a day during my visit, wanted to extend but could not as this hotel was BAD. The Room was booked in advance, but the room was not ready at check in time. They said they keep the room untouched for 24 hrs before the guest arrive, but that was false as they were getting the room ready right then. One person at front desk started blaming the other person for the mess. The room's Thermostat was messed up, you cant turn the fan off, cant reduce the temperature, they came and "fixed" through a "visible " cut in the ceiling in a 5 start hotel. Then the the fan speed never changed " even if you wanted to". The wood flooring had visible gaps in them with black dirt/mold in them was scary. Hard water in the showers. I was not feeling well so we ( I and my wife) though to have " The included" breakfast in the room, but they did not allow it, which was weird. Positive sides: 1. The front desk (girl with glasses, forgot the name) was super nice and friendly. 2. The food was nice at the ground floor restaurant. 3. Location is nice. 4. Room service was quick.

The stay at The Lalit Delhi was an unforgettable experience of opulence and luxury. From the moment I walked into the elegant lobby, I was greeted with exceptional hospitality that set the tone for the entire stay. The attention to detail was impeccable, with every aspect of the hotel exuding a sense of grandeur. The room itself was a haven of comfort and style. The plush furnishings, exquisite decor, and modern amenities created an ambiance that was both inviting and lavish. The attention paid to cleanliness and maintenance was evident, making my stay not only comfortable but also reassuring during these times.

The hotel and their services are mind-blowing. Very neat and clean. The staffs are well behaved and listen what you want to say. Every thing was good but one this which I don't like that they ask for parking charges. It should have been free.

The location is what makes this an ideal place to host meetings and conferences. They are polite and service is ok. Food was also pretty good. In hindsight, it is located next to a lot of iconic restaurants in central Delhi, so if one is staying at Lalit, it might be more interesting to explore the eateries outside. What surprised me was that they charged my friend Rs 200 for parking.

I went to their cafe. The food was best - 100/10. By hearing the portion size, I thought it'd be less, but no, the way they prepared the food has been very stomach-filling and tasty. The service provided by the staff was also superb.

Honestly, I had high hopes walking into The Lalit, but my stay was a letdown from the get-go. The staff didn't seem to care much, and it felt like I was more of a burden than a guest. And can we talk about the new valet charges? Seriously? I couldn't believe they're nickel-and-diming us like that, especially when the service is already subpar. The room was the last straw for me. It looked like it hadn't been updated in years, and little things were just off, from a wobbly table to a TV remote that only half-worked. Bottom line: I'm really disappointed. I won't be coming back and can't recommend The Lalit to anyone else. There are plenty of better options out there.

The LaLiT New Delhi is the only hotel in Delhi to have “Art Junction” – much more than just another art gallery. It is a  dedicated space for displaying art and showcases works of over 5000 artists, both upcoming and established.  Art Junction extends a warm and heartfelt welcome to every art aficionado and promises a cherished  experience.

Friendly and welcoming hotel. I loved the recyclable or biodegradable amenities and environmental approach. LGBT friendly and wonderful staff. Nice location 5 min walk from CP and just next to the metro (please use the Delhi metro: clean, fast, efficient, AC…). I will come back here every time I come to Delhi.

Once a icon of hospitality, alas the Lalit in Delhi is fast falling by the side..mostly due to poor management. Stayed for 4 days and got to see things in close perspective. Rooms are jaded and showing wear and tear..bathrooms with clogging drains and faulty or non-working showers, electricity frequently tripping..tvs not working. Poor service standards..no one smiles...anywhere..at check-in counter, at restaurants, at check-out....staff at breakfast appear to be unhappy to see guests come in and try their best to avoid looking at customers who do come in. Dirty dishes piled on tables, tables not laid, orders forgotten, ..the list is endless. Other guests at the neighbouring table at b/f had the same observation. It is obvious the driver is asleep at the wheel on this ship!! Its sad for this was once an iconic property to stay at..

Went there to attend an event. Did not feel like a 5 star at all! They seemed short staffed and very poorly managed. The coffee was served in a cracked mug and the flower vase on table was broken from multiple places. The staff everywhere looked flabbergasted as if they had no idea of whats going on at all. The receptionist was really rude and seemed tired of her work. Although The security guards were really nice and the staff at coffee shop were really nice and professional. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here there are multiple better options in Delhi.

    1. Hotel does not worth spending that much or the value in return is much less than their price 2. Food is extremely low quality even after multiple reordering. 3. Breakfast has very less options and as said quality was low. 4. Internet was dead slow nearly 2mbps 5. Rooms were inadequately arranged. Several calls were needed to make it proper. 5. Staff was irresponsible and did not care at all. Moreover this hotel has rusted with time and gives no value but just name

The hotel is situated right in the heart of Delhi. The gallery and the lobby is huge and quite spread out. There is a lounge and a coffee shop right next to the lobby. The banquet halls are quite big and spacious. I had gone their for a function. The food was decent but not very great. Some of the Chinese items were nice and tasty. I think the desserts more work as they were not up to the mark. The starters were good and so was the variety in the food. Overall, a decent experience. Happy eating!!!!

Booked them because of their prime location which is their greatest asset. Room isn't justified at all, lesser amenities than other hotels that cost the same. However the experience wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Breakfast and staff were good. Check-in and Check-out was smooth. But that's where it ends. Mini fridge wasn't working, floor was creaking all the time. Bed and linens were not great either. Room is pretty small. But yeah overall nothing to crib about had a decent two day stay at The Lalit. I'll recommend it.

Nice looking hotel but let down by the total lack of common sense by management and staff. We stayed in early January and it was cold outside yet the room we stayed in was extremely cold and they left the air conditioning on, we had to ask several times for a heater and even then it took ages for the temperature to rise from 15c to 19c. The food is very very expensive for what you get, I would advise to eat out. Breakfast time is also a farce, if the main restaurant is busy, you are asked to go to their makeshift second breakfast area which is a banquet room with large tables and centre island with breakfast items. Not something I would expect from a 5 star hotel. I would not stay again, there are more hotels in Delhi to choose from which are better.

I booked this property through make my trip . I booked for 2 people . When I reached there. Staffs said we can’t allow two people . We can allow only you. I asked them the reason why they are not allowing. They didn’t gave me proper reason . While booking I saw this property was couple friendly . Atleast staffs should say proper reason why they are not allowing. When I enquired I saw this property was non refundable . Honestly I request you should give proper reason. Or you should mention we allow only 1 person etc in your website.

My go-to in Delhi. Busy but quiet. Baluchi restaurant is fantastic. Check out the artwork in this place. It’s like a contemporary Indian art museum. Terrific hotel!

Very good Hotel. Breakfast spread was good, room spacious-neat-clean. All essentials kept including shaving kit. Just that checkin and checkout can be little quick, though staff are good. Highly recommended for business stay.

Along with friends, I go there regularly, the staff is courteous and helpful always at buffet and in the dining area, running about fulfilling all odd demands as well. Food is really superb. Well worth the costs. Only now they are charging for valet car parking or you can park your car in their parking area for free and walk all the way to the lobby, that's not correct for such hospitality.

Had a horrible booking experience at the Lalit New Delhi. The reception staff is rude, I called them up and asked to transfer the call to the reservation desk, they put on indefinite hold and disconnected my call eventually twice. When I called again, they stopped picking up the phone. When I finally managed to speak to the reservation desk, they gave a quote and sent me a payment link. Before making the payment I decided to call reservation once again someone else picked up and said that the quote was too low and incorrect. Thank god I didn't make the payment! The reservation experience was so bad that I couldn't imagine how to stay would have been.

Well great ambience as in terms of a 5 star hotel. The food is also good in taste. Still more items can be included in the buffet menu.

Beautiful lobby, ambience and staffs were friendly. Room cleaning isn’t up to 5 star standard. Food is a total disappointment. Menu very limited. Breakfast spread nothing much to look forward to daily. First time trying out 5 star hotel as a foreigner in Delhi. Unfortunately this hotel doesn’t live up to its name and standard.

Great Location, Good Ambience, and Hospitality but Poor Food, Not Truly a 5-Star Experience. Located in Heart of Delhi 5/5 Staff Behaviour 5/5 Facilities 5/5 Clean and Hygiene 4/5 Food Quality, Quantity, Variety and Price Worthiness 1/5 Stricly NO if you are going for Food in Room Service, Very High Taxes. They even charge 10% as delivery charges for bringing food to your room. Getting a 15% discount on F&B Services is a trap. Don't fall for it.

Worst worst worst experience! We booked three royal suites which is not cheap to say the least. Poor service. We actually received no service to which the concierge said that due to a wedding they are unable to serve which was another level of pathetic. The furniture was old and rusty. There were no bathtubs in suites- which was completely unacceptable for the hefty price of the suites. And the food has gone from bad to worse. Be it in-room dining or dinner. I just can't believe that a hotel like Lalit has gone to the wolves like this. Very disappointed.

    1. The service socks big time. 2. There are no covid protocols followed. If absolutely ok if you are without a mask. 3. Rooms are dirty and not sanitized. Even a guest house has a better facility. Unhygienic hotel. Would never recommend anyone to stay here

A standard room is compact but it's good, Washroom has bathtub and separate shower space. Lift system is pathetic, if you're new you won't understand the system till the lift takes you from top floor to bottom floor twice or thrice. Service is too slow, reason might be too much rush n less staff. If you get any F&B off while booking don't forget to avail it if you're dining in the hotel as hotel system doesn't automatically takes it. Hope you've a nice stay.

One of the most renowned 5-star hotels in New Delhi. The hotel has all the amenities a 5-star should have. Huge lobby area. Magnificent rooms. I loved it. The view was awesome from the glass window wall on one side. Loved the pool though no Jacuzzi was there. Breakfast was good, expected it to be a bit better. Lots of food options were there but not all of them were tasty. The staffs were very humble and friendly. Didn't like the receptionist. He was not communicating well. They gave me the room 1 hour late after the usual check-in time and it was not communicated well. Overall, a good experience. I would recommend.

We had an event with around 100 participants. The hall was spacious to accommodate everyone with proper distance between people. The adjacent area was quite convenient for organizing buffet. The food was quite good. The hotel is centrally located so the participants were quite happy to have access to city center during their stay.

Stayed here for a day. I would suggest you to go for a higher floor as this particular hotel doesn't have any good view. So on the safer side higher the better. The service is quick. The best thing they have a kitty Su club just in the hotel, but was under renovation during my visit. Overall experience was great.

So, how the mighty have fallen!! A place frequented by the well heeled class of the city with lovely restaurants like baluchi and warm service and hustle bustle of the coffee shop, now it is a sad place with lousy food at 24x7, bodybuilders masquerading as waiters talking loudly and jesting with each other, unkept toilets and depressing atmosphere. Not going again forever

I have visited with my family for dinner, but my experience is not good. 1. There is no proper street light near entry and exit gate.. it looks like you are entering in unknown place. 2. They are asking 200rs for valet parking which is weird, I have never seen in any 5 star resturants/hotels example :- Radisson, The leela, The Surya, County inn, etc. 3. Ambience is not good and airy, and no proper signs for lift lobby, hotels, resturants etc. 4. Parking is not maintained properly, looking like you are at very cheap place. I have given 2 star only because of the taste of food, that is very good. Breads and vegetables are baked properly.

Lovely place, with nice and friendly staff... Good amenities overall... Gonna break this review out in parts so bear with me... Locality: Kind of right in the city, but still very accessible. Pretty close to the Bengali market, which has most of your shopping needs.. It was a 20 minute drive from the airport (11pm in and 4 am out). And on a rush day it takes just over 40 minutes from the airport. Amenities: Didn't visit any of these, but I'm going to list them all the same. Gym, Spa, Pool, Nightclub, A Japanese restaurant, and another Pan Indian restaurant, and one or more event halls. The stay: Lodged up in a Deluxe King room. It was a very comfortable stay, with all the comforts you can ask for. There's a bathtub in here, as well a safe which you can configure for yourself to keep your valuables safe... Housekeeping is very prompt and thorough with their cleaning and maintenance of the room. Mattress is a spring mattress with very soft pillows (emphasis on "very soft") The food: Buffet - Good spread of food overall, with an emphasis on North Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. Their south indian items during breakfast is underwhelming but was fine every other time (considering we're this far up north, shouldn't be expecting it to be stellar). Sunday brunch was amazing, and I loved the variety of dishes across each day. The buffet is a tad on the expensive side, but is absolutely worth every rupee that goes into it. In room dining - Ordered just once in room... Ordered the jerk chicken burger and a frozen berry smoothie... They make it a point to call out any allergens and ingredients when taking the order, and they are prompt in sending up the order too... My only nitpick would've been the lack of a straw, but considering it's COVID, I'mma let it slide. The vibe: Never a dull moment with the staff at the place. They go out of their way to make the guests' stay a comfortable one. "Customer is king" is definitely a motto these folks live up to... All in all... A positively delightful experience... Would definitely recommend a visit

Very well appointed rooms (a little upkeep has been done but slightly patchy). The staff other than the front desk is usually friendly. The food is delicious. There's a food truck parked in the premises which serves nice burgers, fries, and has a daily special. They also deliver to the room if the order is above Rs. 1000, else you can order and take it to your room. The IT dept nor the engineering department have something as simple as an HDMI cable if you want to connect your laptop to the TV to watch your favourite OTT. A shout out to Gaurav at 247 bar who was extremely generous with munchies and drinks. Will definitely go back for him.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this hotel. Absolutely worst service. I booked 2 days stay at The Lalit New Delhi. During my checkin, I was given a room on floor 10th, which didn't have the fridge/mini-bar facility. After complaining, they shifted us to a new room on 26th floor. But at night, there were lot of disturbances and noises from Kitty Su Club on 28th floor. My entire room was vibrating and it was very difficult to sleep. Upon complaining again, they changed the room to 14th floor. In that room, the fridge/mini-bar was not working, so they had to switch the fridge from other room. Next day, we discovered that the bathroom door was very hard, and almost impossible to open. Upon complaining, they changed the room again on the same floor. Everything was okay, but at night we discovered that the centralised AC was faulty, and was only working at 20 degree temperature. We had to sleep the whole night at that temperature, due to which both of us are not feeling well now. I had to migrate to 4 different rooms in my 2 days trip, which wasted my time + caused physical and mental exhaustion. We complained to the hotel staff and all they could say is sorry. I felt cheated, and felt like I was charged ~13000 for this worst service and experience.

The hotel may have undergone staff changes, hence the reduced star for overall hospitality, but looking at how tough Covid has been on this sector, my family did enjoy there time in the Premium Twin room.

Good hotel, great location. The rooms are pretty good. They need to do a better job with managing their wedding bookings. Music /loud speakers blaring out of control through the night made it impossible to sleep or work in our rooms on the 22nd floor. I would avoid this place around the wedding season.
