The room that we got was bit small and I felt room doesn't look like 5 star hotel. Reception and waiting area is very nice & beautiful but rooms should be up to the mark as well. Service was very good. Location is excellent.

Okay, so if you are thinking that you are getting a good deal to stay in a 5 star hotel then you are wrong. The hotel didn't seem like a 5 star hotel to me. The room they had given was a non- smoking one still it reeked of the smoking smell. The sofa/couch in the room wasn't clean, rather it was visibly dirty and was smelly. The bathroom wasn't great either and even the flush wasn't working. The staff on the other hand was pretty sweet, the hotel looks good. You can get great deals on Online Travel agencies for this place but to be honest I felt it wasn't worth the money.

The room was very nice and the service was outstanding. I don’t know about the location since we didn’t leave the hotel. Don’t miss the restaurant on the top floor with the gorgeous view. We were lucky since there were fireworks all over the city. We enjoyed very reasonably priced cocktails and appetizers. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Be sure to look to the right and around the corner as you enter the buffet area, lots of yummy things to enjoy. We missed this area and we were too full to eat anymore.

An extremely old building, worn out carpets, very tiny rooms. What it lacks in the ambience it more than makes up for it due to their staff. Their staff and service is one of the best I've experienced in a long long while. Always serving with a smile whatever the time maybe, courteous and prompt. The food was also very good. The building can do better with some better maintenance and upkeep.

Me and my wife had a wondrous time staying in this hotel. The staffs were very courteous and the rooms immaculate. Food tastes amazing here. 5 star for that. A must try here is their spa facility (do not miss this). There is only one bad experience we had throughout our stay in this hotel, and surprisingly, during one night there were mosquitos in the room, which is not expected from a 5 star rating hotel. If not for this we would have given an overall star rating of 5.

This is an amazing hotel! We arrived after a long flight to a clean and huge room which was beautifully prepared for us. But the hotel’s staff really make this place shine, from their helpfulness in arranging tours to recommendations on what different foods to try. One of the breakfast staff was particularly amazing! He would ask me every morning if I wanted to try some Indian food and would then present me with a variety of southern Indian dishes. They were amazing! He then presented us with chai and asked if we would like to try more dishes. He was so proud of his country and food, we really enjoyed this experience. We also visited the hotel pool (which is lovely) and the rooftop restaurant which offers great views of Delhi. Again, the staff were exceptional in their service. I’ve never experienced such high end and professional staff at a hotel before, this place is definitely a must book! The whole ambiance of the hotel is amazing. We loved our afternoon cup of tea and cake in the hotel’s reception. The building’s decor and style adds to the atmosphere and charm

A good hotel with good food options with 3 restaurants on the premises. A good health club on the basement level. The pool is an outdoor pool with ample seating around it making it a nice experience to sit outdoors on a sunny day! A good market at a walkable distance with great restaurant options and steet style shopping. The rooms could be renovated further as per today's standards! A good hotel to stay if you are looking at this as an option.

I will gladly stay here again. This hotel has all the fixings you expect after you spent too long searching at the gorgeous photos across a few different review platforms. I'm delighted with the outstanding service and the luxurious room. I stayed in a room with an average city view on 2nd floor. Sadly my room doesn't got the good view. The bathroom is really good packed with all necessary stuff. The bed has one of the best hotel mattresses I’ve had the opportunity to use! The room is full of interesting light fixtures and furniture. I loved my room. The coffee in the lobby is great. Only drawback of the room is that no one can open the room in 1st attempt. They need to upgrade there card lock system.

A good modern hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Only down side was single glazed windows that let in noise from outside, despite us being in the 6th floor. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was very good. There is a market and shopping area nearby with many banks and restaurants.

This property used to be good. Now the floor we were staying at was stinky. The people were so rude at the BW or some club at the property were very rude. Blood stain on toilet. 😑😑 Breakfast used to be really good as well...not same anymore. Only good thing was the customer service of the hotel staffs.

IT is a beautiful option to vacation in a five star hotel when you are around New Delhi. The location is quite favourable to plan out outings or stay indoors as well. The staff is cordial and cooperative. But their service goes slower at late night. Buffet is good but less spicy. Rooms are nice and spacious. Washrooms do not have bath tubs.

All the services , the food and the courteous staff of the Hotel. For two weeks on duty, I did not miss anything! I would not hesitate to book and stay at the Hotel again! I recommend it unreservedly. The hotel is really clean. The down side is that it is expensive for the ordinary.

To start with the location of The Suryaa New Delhi is perfect with just 2-3 mins walk from the New Friends colony market. The room was neat, clean and well maintained. The bathroom was below average to the 5 star standards, it was worn out, with the shower not perfectly functional and some rust on the basin taps. (On the first night itself the jet spray started leaking from the early morning say about 4am and the noise was disturbing however in the morning the staff helped it resolved) But at the same time all the accessories were provided in the washroom. The swimming pool is good which is only for adults. Though you can put kids with safety guards but it gets congested quickly in busy hours. Food is very good and there is a great spread for breakfast as well as dinner. Room service is something I didn't't find good enough. I asked them to replace some things which they didn't, which i found very strange for the first time in any 5* The Suryaa New Delhi. The rest of the staff is friendly and good as u expect them to be. All in all u can give say 4.5 out of 5 mainly for location and food. I really appreciate the front desk and bell boys for their service. Overall a very good stay and an unforgettable experience.

While the charges of this hotel are at par with any other 4 star plus chain but they miss basic things around professionalism. The room did not have the heating working in winter or delhi. Staff at reception would hold you in waiting at the checkout because they want to check the mini bar items. Such things can be managed seamlessly by showing a level of customer service and professionalism.

I had stayed in room no 406 and 411 for 8 days in January 2024. My experience was bad as in 406, the bathroom tub had a leak, and it was super noisy as one could hear the dog barking and traffic horn. In room 411, it was humid and had an awful smell. The room telephone wasn't working. I spoke to the manager, and I have been assured that they will send the engineers and will fix the AC and telephone. However, no one came to fix the problem. The food was alright, but bear in mind that they will charge you 250 INR for a bottle of water, which supposedly was complimentary with food. Anyways, what really annoyed me was the room AC not working and awful smell in the room and humidity. The temperature in the room was more than 23°C. It was so uncomfortable. Wish they did respect the request of their guests instead of apologising at the end. Yes, I booked and stayed there for 8 days.

Rooms are not that good. . . It's Very ancient feeling. . If it's ancient and neat fine. But these rooms are old and shabby. . And the elevator it's scary it landing and moving is so shakey. . they should change it to Mitsubishi Elevator. They are really good and premium. .

With such a huge price it’s hospitality is very bad. At front desk that is reception man misguided about the price of breakfast told wrong price. Apart from that rooms are not cleaned and equipment was not working. Also at morning buffet is not so good as compare to other 5 star hotel. Pls avoid to stay there. Clean and well furnished rooms with a very friendly staff. The rooms at the lower floors have some issues like smoke coming from vents. The higher floors have pretty clean and relatively better rooms. The location is prime with outlets, market, offices, metro stations and theatres nearby.

The experience was great. The staff was very helpful and polite. Just an advice to confirm your order, if you opt for in room dining. Sometimes, it can cause confusion. Overall it's one of the best hotels.

Very nice hotel and is value for money. Rooms are large and spacious. The breakfast is very lavish and their service is top notch. The only issue we had was that we had requested a early check-in. They hotel had confirmed that with a price tag, which we agreed to, however when we reached hotel after 27 hours of flights and jet lag, they didn't had any room ready for us. They told us that it's subject to availability, which we were not told earlier. Luckily within an hour they were able get a room for us. Besides the early check-in issue, everything was superb 👌

I visited the BW club with my 2 other friends. The service was good as we paid a good amount to book the table. Music & sound quality was top notch. But the seating arrangement was not comfortable & the overall ambiance of the club was below average. Good part, it opens till 7 in the morning.. food was average.

Loved their breakfast buffet spread. Loved their quick concierge service. Above two things combined with clean, tidy, spacious rooms is a great experience. Next time will take gym clothes, they have a gym with right amount of weights and gym equipment for me. Added with steam and sauna and free for hotel guests. This is a bonus.

Went for a business meeting on top floor hall. Next to the hall was a balcony with wonderful view of delhi (could locate Lotus temple) and stairs that lead to an open amphitheatre sort. Overall experience was good.

Room were good but there were no sockets near bed which is basic necessity. Iron board and iron not provided you need ask for the same . Rest of the amenities provided were ok . Breakfast was good .

My last visit to Delhi was for a work trip and so our base location was this hotel. Rooms were clean and maintained properly. I love the hospitality as the staff was polite and helpful. There are many options when it comes to rooms as they have pool access so one can either choose between pool view or city view. Very spacious and hygienic. Overall the place is pretty decent to stay.

The hotel is easy to find and has ample parking space. The service is prompt, and it has a slightly heritage or old-world charm about it, with very spacious rooms. The rates are very reasonable and all the amenities that you require for a comfortable and peaceful stay are available. There is a restaurant on the top-most floor that has an amazing view and ambience at night.

The hotel is commercially at a very good price. And the services are pretty good. The food is good and has all the amenities like swimming pool and gym. But if you are looking for a very good ambience you will not get it. The hotel has shopping area and a very good disc.

This place is a treasure. We only booked for 1 nights, but we had to extend our stay because this hotel is just exceptional. The rooms are very spacious and the service is really good. They have a very exquisite restaurant up on the top floor with an amazing view. They have a complimentary breakfast buffet that serves Indian and continental breakfast, that's also really good. They have a bar downstairs and shops, too. Their shops are one-stop one because they have all sorts from souvenirs, spas and beauty services, and even travel agencies, plus more. Their services are also top notched. 100% recommend.

Hotel quite tired and needs updating. Only 2 out of 3 lifts work and apparently it's been that way for some time. Food is good though.

Decent hotel not really great. One of those old school places. Does the job of giving you a room and food without any frills or attempts at bowing and scraping.

Royal old styled property. Classic look. Plenty of non-chargeable car parking area. Large reception area. Airindia styled staff. Food quality is good. Multiple confrence room facilities. Generally a good place for corporate meetings and stay. While the location is well known and prominent, traffic conditions around the area are of concern during the peak business hours.

The staff was really helpful, I had to stay there for a day and was really tired. So, I didn't use much of the facilities. But the deluxe rooms were spacious enough for two people. The Ambience and decor was beautiful. From the entrance to the exit it was lovely.

The room, ease, comfort, great breakfast and overall service delievery. Must mention the efficient and warm upkeep of the room by housekeeping attendant Ms. Radha, simply incredible . Great place to stay near New Friends Colony. Don't be surprised by the limited choice of food in the menu. They believe in quality rather than quantity. Really great food. Do check out the roof top restaurant. Floor in the room could get a little wet when you turn the air conditioner to around 24-25°. That's something the management should look into. Over all great staff and hospitality.

I stayed there many times. Nice and big rooms. Big swimming pool. Polite staff. Nice Club. Good restaurants. Near Lótus temple. And the New Friends Colony just beside has good restaurants, coffee shop, bakery, all you need.

Beautiful and one of the oldest luxury hotel properties in the heart of Delhi. They have 2 restaurants and a bakery inside with private dining available to host a family dinner for 10 people. Quite nice!

Everything is good about this hotel. Nearby shopping, connecting roads to Delhi metro, rooms are kept clean. But the access cards don't work at first use either call concierge or give multiple tries... Rooms would have been checked before guest allocation. One of the lamps busted out immediately after switching them on.

lavish place... a great club in the city.. its an amazing five star hotel with a party house.. great music champagne.. dance.. drinks.. great crowd.. u will meet so many people to be fun with!!! the party starts at 10 pm night and ends at 8 am in the morning.. just go as a couple as stag entry is expensive... otherwise its free. Great hotel with good food and staff. The architecture is a bit old, and the locality itself isn't the best. But once inside the hotel it's nice. There's ample waiting are at the reception, a ball room and platinum halls for events, restaurant with buffet and a private dining area, swiming pool and a club as well.

Suryaa Delhi is an oasis in a sea of chaos. This was the first place in India that checked my Covid vaccination card before I entered, and each of the staff wore buttons that read “I am vaccinated.” Check-in was a breeze, and the service was amazing—everyone addressed me as “sir,” my bags were brought to my room, and one staff member later recognized me and called me by name. The interior of this hotel was super elegant, clean, and comfortable, all the amenities (including fast wifi and bottled water) were provided, and the breakfast buffet had a wide selection of both Indian and Western foods.

The food was really bad. Even the food service was very bad. They weren't even abel to give one cup of coffee quickly and sometimes they didn't give at all. There were 3 lifts out of which only 2 were working. Even those 2 lifts were very slow and were malfunctioning. They were skipping floors which were pressed, they were getting closed within 5 seconds. The person outside the lift sometimes had to wait for 20 minutes after pressing the button before the lift arrives. The staff wasn't allowing the use of stairs so we had no choice but to let them waste our time while waiting for the lift. As compared to the other parts of the hotel, the terrace and the swimming pool area were very small and not very welcoming. However, there were some good points also, like the ambience was good and the room service was quick.

We really enjoyed our stay at the suryaa. Their buffet breakfast is pretty good. And loved their hospitality. The staff is super sweet. We requested them for a late check-out and they did allow us for a free of cost. Over all it was pleasant stay.

The Suryaa is a well maintained star property at less than 30min from the Delhi Airport. It has the old world charm while managing to keep the rooms in good order. Excellent lobby, was great for our business meetings. The breakfast buffet was a good spread, again a place to invite important guests as is the sky lounge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable even when it is for two people with twin seperate beds. It even boasts of a discotheque/ nightclub, though the music doesn't affect residents one bit. You can stroll into the neighbourhood market place for a meal and some shopping. The Surya at New Friends Colony Delhi is a well known address, carries the right amount of gravitas, besides convenience.I recommend the place to visitors.

Good place for a small gathering of 100-200 people who want rooms and banquets at the same hotel. Food was good and seemed to have been prepared without haste.

A royal stay at Hotel The Suryaa . The hotel is huge with courteous staff and ambient rooms. The deluxe room are quiet spacious and also consist of bath tub. The food was topnotch both breakfast and dinner. The security was also tight. The hotel also offered various things like gym,spa, shopping space,swimming pool(not working as of now). The roof top restaurant is just amazing.Highly recommended for a lavish stay.

It was a great experience in having workshop session at Surya Hotel. Hotel is wonderful and have a beautiful infrastructure. Its staff and services are also very cooperative. Anyhow pillars position of seminar room really made congested seminar room , but managed nicely as less people participated.

It's a good hotel but has not been renovated since it's inception and needs a makeover. Other than that the staff here is really helpful and the breakfast is great as well. It's in a central location of Delhi so that's great also the room will give a good view of the lotus temple.

The check in was quick, hotel looks old but the rooms are reasonably priced and big in size. However the bill section needs major correction. I paid and was told that bill would be mailed by the finance section. This was the first time I heard this. Even after 15 days, after regular follow-up through mail and phone, it has not been mailed. Totally appalled by this attitude. But the food, spacious room, waiting area are all great. I hope Hotel Surya management are reading this

I visited The Surya for an event and it was my first visit. Although I did not book any room for stay and the event was for only 1 hour, so did get much time to explore the property. However, at a glimpse I would have to say that it's a pretty decent hotel with adequate facilities.
