Delhi Tales Hostel

Hostel

👍👍 Highly recommended. Very friendly and professional staff. Run by a couple of guys who also organise treks in the Himalayas. The home cooked food is absolutely excellent, the kind you would get if you were staying with family. It's a quiet place, set back from the main road, only a short 'auto' drive... People often mention Delhi, hostel, people, Tales, home, clean, nice,

Highly recommended. Very friendly and professional staff. Run by a couple of guys who also organise treks in the Himalayas. The home cooked food is absolutely excellent, the kind you would get if you were staying with family. It's a quiet place, set back from the main road, only a short 'auto' drive to the metro. The rooms are a good size and clean. There is a also a communal area. The whole place has a nice cool/arty atmosphere, and its quite easy to meet people there and get some good travel tips - when we visited there was a mix of Indian and International tourists. There was a sign advertising games and cultural discussions from the various international guests - a really nice way to make everyone welcome. The people that run this place are doing a great job and were very helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing place to stay for solo travellers who need a space to spend the nights. Our host showed great hospitality , we even had breakfast and lunch at their home . The place is neat and the best bargain one could ask for the price they offer. Looking around each corner was decorated with something different and appealing will upload more pictures . If you are in Delhi this is easy place for any traveller.

It's amazing here. The people are incredible. This is not a hostel , it's home.. The admin and cook are so amazing. The place is cheap. 420 friendly . the rooms are kept super clean. It's in a very good neighborhood. Close to airport. Free parking. Cameras and confortable common area. It even has a faux grass in the back! You can't find a better place!

The owners are really nice. They become your friends over a course of time. The place is so calm and beautiful. I really miss this place, i wish my college hostel was like this. Arun bhaiya is very nice. even, the roommates were such nice people. Food is good. Board games are cute. I miss Delhi. Delhi Tales thank you for making my stay memorable. The restrooms were good. Really nothing that i didn't like.

Location is very close to the airport don't be fooled, an uber or Ola (by far the easiest way to get around) is only 100 - 200 rupees. Facilities are basic, but the beds are bug free, comfortable and the rooms are air-conditioned. There is a nice chill out area in the entrance to the hostel where people lounge around most of the day. The staff are incredibly helpful and generous with there time. Happy to take you around to the sights of Delhi, or help setting you up if you're new to India. You feel at home the moment you arrive, great place!

Few my clients stayed here for 2 nights. Its a small small and cosy Hostel which is not like a typical Hostel. It is one of most sort out place in Delhi and very safe part of Delhi. Very well managed by Divya and Rishav who are always ready to extend their hands for any help. I would highly recommend this place for the Travellers who are wants to explore in India or around Delhi and looking for a neat and clean and safe place.

My approx 18 hours 8- bed dorm stay review! How I reached: 1- Exited Chhatarpur Metro station for Vasant Kunj area direction.(you can anyone there) 2- Took bus towards the "Vasant Kunj Police station" which is at T- intersection which costed ₹10 (Auto will cost ₹50-₹60) 3- Delhi Tales about 1 km away from there. Pros: 1- One Air conditioner and One ceiling fan in my dorm , I think that's enough. 2-Near Airport, TERI SAS institute etc. 3- Host/ owner was very cooperative. 4- Clean lobby, toilet, rooms. 5- free Wi-Fi but I didn't used as I have my own. 6- Quite surrounding 7-for local food explore you have to travel atleast 1 km. 8-In house kitchen you can ask them for food. Cons: 1- No bedsheets on mattress therefore mattress cover was "little bit dirty". (I repeat just little bit dirty.)

I absolutely enjoyed my time at Delhi Tales! I can't say enough about what sets this hostel apart from others. Everything from the wonderful staff ( Shubhra made me feel like family) to the true Delhi excursion experience. I experienced a one-of-a-kind , mouth watering food tour of Old Delhi, guided by locals. Along the tour Shubhra took the time to describe the food and culture of Delhi, which was fascinating! Delhi Tales also offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, which makes all the difference especially if you are new to town and tired from your journey, it's above and beyond convenient and delicious! The location is great, close to shopping and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. The people at Delhi Tales truly care about your experience and welcome you with warmth and authenticity. It's a place to meet people from all over the world and experience Delhi from the local's perspective. I will definitely be back!

It's warm, friendly and a clean place. The cook Ingti is outstanding as he's versatile with cooking any cuisine above par. So, overall a well managed Hostel. Keep it up :)

The place was temporarily closed. I checked hostel world and Google for this hostel's availability, but when I reached here, the lady said that it's temporarily closed. If she could have updated the same online, it would have saved a lot of hustle, time and money.

This is my first trip to India and I arrived in the hostel for 7 days. The hostel is very clean people are very friendly and I had the impression of being at home. Vikash is the boss of the hostel and he was very courteously he answered all my questions and offered to accompany me to visit Qutub Minar, President House, India Gate. I recommend all travelers coming in this hostel for one night or forever.

Delhi Tales is a great option for backpackers. It's a clean, cheap and cozy hostel near to Delhi's airport (took me 20 min in an Uber). I spent only a day there, waiting for my flight, and I spent it with the host, Hisham who was an amazing dude to me, helping in every single thing I needed. If you're into pulao, ask for it and have lunch with him! Strongly recommend

😠 They are cheaters. Please avoid booking here. We booked it for senior citizen dad who had a prepaid booking. But the hotel refused the room. It was midnight and they kept him waiting for over 2 hours. Then they took him to another hotel and accommodated in a very bad and substandard room. Horrible...

👍👍 It's a safe hostel rite in the heart of the city. Provides good food and amenities. They have a very nice courtyard lawn too where one can do morning jog and exercises. Stayed here for almost 3 yrs and loved it.
