had
5
rooms
booked
for
our
return
night
on
27th
oct
2022
as
part
of
the
golden
triangle
trip
arranged
by
Southern
travels.
Since
few
members
in
our
group
left
the
trip
in
between,
i
requested
for
a
change
like
this
-
we
will
take
only
4
rooms.
In
return
of
giving
back
the
5th
room,
allow
2
rooms
to
be
checked
out
on
Friday
28th
evening,
as
there
were
members
having
delhi
departures
late
in
the
evening.
The
staff
at
the
desk
agreed
to
this.
My
mistake
was
-
i
didn't
take
this
in
writing,
neither
did
i
record
the
conversation,
but
blindly
trusted
the
staff.....
On
Friday
my
family
members
were
checking
out
they
charged
1500/-
for
one
room
as
late
checkout
charges
-
total
3000/-.
So,
the
hotel
made
money
from
the
5th
room
we
had
prepaid
as
part
of
the
package
but
we
didn't
take
and
also
made
money
from
late
checkout
charges...
I
did
report
this
to
the
travel
coordinator,
who
was
very
supportive..
But
even
after
his
intervention
and
me
sending
email
to
the
hotel
management,
not
even
an
acknowledgement
of
the
incident
was
given...
Its
not
about
the
3k
additional
we
had
to
spend..
Its
about
the
trust,
staying
by
words
and
overall
behavior...
This
was
not
good
by
the
front
desk
staff
on
those
2
days
-
they
acted
very
unprofessional..
They
should
know
that,
the
hotel
stays
are
tied
to
the
tour
packages
arranged
by
travel
desk
and
they
can
not
act
like
an
independent
team..
Apart
from
this
below
are
good
and
bad:
Good
:
1.
The
food
at
the
restaurant
is
really
awesome
2.
The
staff
at
the
travel
desk
(next
door)
and
the
travel
team
(My
poc
was
Mr.Anoop
Singh,
who
was
excellent
in
serving
our
needs)
in
general
are
very
good.
They
know
how
to
make
a
customer
happy.
Bad
1.
Behavior
of
hotel
front
desk
2.
Pick
up
and
drops
are
conflicting..
Travel
desk
says,
every
customer
staying
will
get
pick
up
and
drop
as
required...its
included
with
room..
But,
hotel
reception
says..
"You
have
to
tell
one
day
in
advance"
"Also
our
vehicles
go
for
pickup/drop
every
hour
only..
You
cant
ask
adhoc..
Can't
start
like
**:30am/pm"..
When
I
had
asked
for
an
airport
deop
on
27th
since
I
was
returning
on
that
day..
They
blindly
denied
and
I
took
an
uber,
as
the
drop
was
sounding
like
a
favor
customers
are
getting.

Rooms
are
small
and
not
well
maintained
especially
bathrooms..
Some
rooms
are
relatively
new
and
are
good.
But
this
may
not
be
a
factor
for
Someone
who
just
need
a
place
to
sleep
during
a
long
trip.
Overall
here
is
my
recommendation:
Definitely
choose
Southern
Travels
as
your
travel
partner
for
the
Delhi
based
tours
-
they
are
very
good
at
understanding
customer
needs
and
will
give
suitable
customized
plans
and
they
are
very
flexible.
However,
see
if
you
can
ask
for
the
Delhi
stay
at
a
different
place
than
their
hotel
-
or
find
your
own
hotel
in
delhi
and
use
the
southern
package
for
the
rest
of
your
trip.
