A convenient place to stop if you're visiting Delhi with the metro station being just outside the hostel. Me and my friends each stayed in a private room - these were comfortable and air conditioned. The staff were very helpful and the food served was tasty and affordable. The main issue was that the showers only worked intermittently - sometimes you would have a nice warm shower, other times the shower would be cold, and on our last morning the shower did not work at all. Based on many of the places we stayed in India, this isn't that uncommon though. If you're looking for affordable accommodation in Delhi, goSTOPS is recommended by me.

DO NOT STAY HERE One of worst hostels I’ve stayed at in terms of hospitality. I understand it’s low budget so you have an expectation of standard of rooms etc but the bare minimum for any establishment should be good customer service. I was deciding between this and Zostel Delhi which I’ve stayed at before and because of availability I had to stay here. What a mistake that was. The app used to get into the rooms is unreliable, WiFi constantly drops and the food is subpar. Special mention to Majeed on the front desk who was wholly incapable of any help. The bare minimum you need to be is friendly and he was devoid of any of that. Only positive is the 3 friendly dogs that stay at the hostel as you walk in

I don’t understand why Lonely Planet recommends this hostel. Customer service is poor, the rooms are DIRTY and lack ventilation, and the common areas stink. It’s not worth it. Budget travelers, stay away. I don’t expect luxury when booking a room at a hostel but c’mon, basic cleanliness.

An Abysmal Experience – Think Twice Before Booking! I’ve been traveling consistently for over a decade, and never have I come across such a disappointing hospitality experience. The staff at GoStops in Delhi left much to be desired. Instead of the welcoming atmosphere one expects from a reputable hotel, we were treated as if we had just walked into a hostile environment reminiscent of an unfriendly police station. Their demeanor and conduct were not only unprofessional but also borderline hostile, resembling goon-like behavior rather than genuine hospitality. The property itself was mediocre at best. When paying 3000 bucks for a night, one doesn’t expect luxury, but basic functionality and hygiene are non-negotiable. We were met with a broken shower, a malfunctioning mixer that failed to regulate hot and cold water, and an unsanitary commode that overfilled upon flushing. For those considering staying at GoStops Delhi, I would vehemently advise you to look elsewhere. A property that fails both in hospitality and basic amenities is not worth your time or money. I, for one, will never recommend this place to any traveler.

All the people in my room snore like crazy for god knows what reason. I have earplugs but they are completely useless when 5 people are snoring loudly all together. Most of the people are not young here, there is a big amount of man over 50. Also, a lot of people check in at night and the staff turns on the brightest light of them all (there are 4 different lights in each room), waking up everyone everytime. (I am not the first person pointing this out) The location of the hostel is very close to old Delhi, probably not the safest and cleanest area of the city but it’s really central to the old town and you should know what you get if you choose to stay there. The amenities and common areas are really nice, but beds don’t have curtains and the bathrooms are not the best. I attached a video of what it feels like to sleep here every night.

Stayed here for a night and was surprised at how well managed it was. The staff was friendly and helped me with my luggage to the room. The room itself was very clean and so was the attached washroom. The common area is well thought out. The app worked well for me although I was initially hesitant.

Would highly recommend this place for the location, accessibility and cleanliness. The food is expensive and would suggest to avoid. The cleaning staff lack understanding of what we are conveying to them so probably that can be worked upon. The price too is on the expensive side if compared to other goSTOPS locations. Considering it as a hostel, the prices are of hotel. Hopefully, this review changes some of the points that I’ve mentioned.

I stayed at this hostel 1 month back, and while I had a good experience, there were a few things that I found disappointing. First of all, the property was very congested, which made it feel a bit cramped. While the vibe there was good, I didn't find it as amazing as some of the other gostops hostels I've stayed at. On a lighter note, I had read in reviews that they have cats on the property, but I was unable to catch a glance of any of them during my stay. One positive aspect of the hostel is its location - it's just a stone's throw away from the Delhi Gate metro station, which made it very convenient for me to get around the city.

Rooms are pretty decent for the 6 person dormitory. However they have a policy to keep AC off during the 12-8 PM. Also there was only a small table fan present in the room which is of not much use. So you will be irritated during that period if you don't want to sit in the common area where the AC is ON throughout the day. I wish they make note of this issue and at least provide small fan for each bed as it is in other gostops. Otherwise it was good experience.

For me i got a really bad experience from gostops. I went to meet one of my friend who staying there. We two people went there they ask us to pay 250 rupees per head to meet my friend who staying there. I'm also working in backpack hostel as property maneger so I'm totally aware about that i don't want to pay single rupee to meet someone who staying there. I'm meeting my friend after 11 years we were so happy about it so this 500 rupees i don't want to spoil the moment so i paid them 500 . The reason I'm positing this review many years before travelers were facing money looting from hotel's and trave agencies . After this backpack revolution in India it's get less . And this companies like gostops they looting in the banner of backpackers that was so bad trip for me

I booked this place for my husband, he was ok with the room and other facilities, but the only problem was there was no common sitting or waiting area for visitors. If someone is travelling for work, a small sitting space for visitors is appreciated. His two visitors had to simply stand on the road and wait which is unusual.

Though I stayed with them for a day but the hostel is good. Clean dorms and common area. They follow green energy time in dorm rooms. Met some wonderful people and had conversations. Outside food delivery is allowed so you can just swiggy or zomato if u don’t like their pantry food. Hospitable reception staff. The best thing about this hostel is the location, it’s just outside the Delhi gate metro station, located on main road so getting transportation can’t be an issue. Located in centre of city so CP Rajeev chowk are easily commutable.

It's a good place to spend sometime but if you are a working professional, I won't suggest this place. Also, they close the smoking common area quite early at night so you're left with only normal common area where you can eat. 3 outta 5 kinda setup because gostops is known for it's amazing properties so maybe I have high hopes from them.

Clean rooms, nice hospitality, and a very cosy and cute common guest area where you get to meet amazing people from all walks of life. The food was okayish though could be made better. I don't like the location at all it's very dirty surrounded by filth and smell but it's in close proximity to metro station so that was little relieving.

Very Compact Rooms, Low pressure of water in the bathroom, dirty surroundings and a complete lack of hospitality is what defines this Hostel. The A/C did not work the entire time. Not recommended at all. The only part working for them is their location.

It's a nice place but a few things could be better. They can start a proper kitchen and a dinning area somewhere inside. The food preparation time is too much, mostly around breakfast time. They can offer a fixed breakfast menu to avoid this. The kitchen is very small the menu is very small still they take too much time for preparation. Rest of the things are good. Just a proper dinning experience will make the stay of guests even better.

It is a good hotel/hostel conveniently located next to a metro station. It is clean, secure and has good vibe with common area for chilling etc., But the room size is very small and you might feel a bit claustrophobic inside the hotel. And I felt it was priced a bit higher than it should have been.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at GoStop Hostel in Delhi for just one day, and I was thoroughly impressed with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the hostel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

I am a Bangladeshi lawyer who travelled to Delhi for a conference. I had a confirmed reservation for two nights with full prepayment. I received multiple favourable communications from GoStopsDelhi on my reservation, trip plan, and stay. When I arrived at the hostel's reception after an exhausting flight, the male and female reception managers asked to see my passport. Then, immediately, they refused to let me check in, citing security concerns related to my nationality. They propose that I find alternative accommodations in the area. I declined their offer since I was exhausted and physically unable to start a new search for a place to stay. I was dumbfounded. I felt extremely offended and embarrassed. After a lengthy exchange and a period of uncertainty, they permitted me to check in. It is unexpected and unprofessional conduct on the side of the hostel management. I think it to be illegal and a breach of the law protecting consumer rights. I will never book this accommodation for my next trip, nor would I suggest it to any of my contacts. The room and common area amenities were satisfactory. However, this bitter experience wrecked my mood, and after two nights I moved to a different hostel.

Overall it was a great experience. When I was booking cleanliness was my major concern because of the reviews I read but I am totally satisfied with the cleanliness of the Hostel. It was an affordable stay with every penny worth it. The only issue is the surrounding of the hostel otherwise there is nothing to complain about.

The location of this property, right outside exit three of the Delhi Gate subway, is by far its greatest asset. In addition to 9 individual rooms, it provides 9 dorm rooms. On request, food is provided, but it's not very tasty. Given the cost, we anticipate better amenities. At times, it seems cramped. Sometimes there is no bucket in the bathroom or the geyser is not working. Because check-in is at 1 pm, if you arrive in the morning you are made to wait until noon. The employees are polite. I've made a lot of friends while I've been here. 3 out of 5.

Double standards, that aptly describes the staff behavior here. I stayed at GoStops for 60+ days in multiple trips. I had good experience until the double standards became the norm. I was allocated a bed which was in bad shape and not in a condition for a human to sleep I complaint against same to the reception but was told they cant change or help me was told other beds are occupied but noone came for 2 days, laziness or selective service IDK. I once had health issues and needed ac temperature to be reduced was told they can't control temperature but changed when on a later date a group asked, again laziness or selective service ? It would be batter if they actually work on guest hospitality than pushing for frozen food sell the place will be much better.

Avoid at All Costs! This place was an absolute disaster. The staff were beyond unhelpful—more like a group of disinterested robots than human beings. It felt like stepping into a dingy basement rather than a welcoming hotel. As for the room, don't expect even the basics to work. The shower was a joke, the water temperature impossible to control, and the toilet... well, let's just say it was an adventure in itself. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place. This one is a definite no-go.

We had a pleasant experience at GoSTOPS Dalhousie and hence decided to stay at GoSTOPS Delhi but we were wrong. Even after paying 1600 for Private room with attached bathroom, we were provided a room with an ill maintained bathroom. I believe there is service staff but I was asked to come to reception when I requested for a bottle of water. And nobody would come to pick your baggage. We asked for basic toiletries like soap in bathroom and they said they do not provide all that stuff. The only good thing about the place was food and the fun filled common area.

This place is perfect for travellers who are looking to get quality rest at cheap price. It's open 24 hours, I personally checked in at 12:30am at middle of night and I was welcomed with great smile. I chose to stay in 1 room with 6 bunk beds. The bed was super clean with washed quill and pillows. I didn't had the opportunity to order food so I'm not sure about the food. But you can always order food from zomato.com or swiggy.com which are available 24*7. Bathroom and toilet was attached. Bathroom shower has both hot and cold water available. Overall this place is the best hotel/hostel/dorm in Delhi.

It’s been a good stay. The management and staff is helpful. A good chilled out vibe. Common areas are well kept and vibrant. The rooms could be a little bit better in terms of overall cleanliness and maintenance. The pets always welcome you with their strange sleeping positions. The food is available all day night and is decent enough. Would recommend to people looking for cheap stays but without compromising the basics.

Staff couldn't have been nicer. The only reason 4 stars is because we had to ask a couple of times for a blanket, and to have the bathroom floor cleaned which was then done with a dirty cloth leaving it dirtier than before. Overall it was OK. We had a private double which was a good size with a window. It could have been a bit cleaner but our main issue was the cold and no heating was available. The whole corridor was freezing. Nice bathroom with hot water and a hairdryer - amazing. Not that cheap for a hostel. No kitchen area. Common room was always full of people working on laptops so we didn't hang out there. Location great to get anywhere in a tuk tuk. Fantastic pure vegetarian restaurant 2 minutes walk away (turn right).

Easily accessible as its in front of Delhi Gate metro station. However rooms are little congested and since the hostel is Pet friendly, you can find Dogs & cats everywhere inside the hostel. The shared common room is good where people can chill with friends

Excellent, well-decorated, clean and tidy place to stay in a moderate price, situated by (the main road) some subway metro station. Beautiful paintings around, and a great vintage community kitchen. Stayed for one night here in a 4 bed dorm, wanted to extend stay next morning but couldn't as almost all rooms (and in my budget) were booked.

This is the best value for money stay you can get in Delhi. It's located at a very prime location, right next to delhi gate metro station. The rooms are clean and quite good. There is a common area where you can get food which is packaged one, there are few board games as well. Check-in process is very smooth. The place gives you a hosteller vibe yet it feels very premium. Recommended for a day stay if you're travelling to other place and need a place to crash at

What I loved about the location of New Delhi Gostop is metro just close by and the rooms are good and comfortable beds. May be they can add on giving the toiletries to people that can help. Catering and other things like common room is there and you can connect to diverse people while sitting on the common room. I found meeting this person and knowing his part of story. Only concern is that they get occupied very early. And yes they take cleaning things seriously. The only backdrop of this new delhi go-stop is not very near eateries or restaurants (good ones) so that if you feel like going and having something, you have to walk down a bit. Plus daryagunj is not very clean area in new delhi

Except for the attendant in the night, everyone was friendly including the 3 dogs... The food was decent, The best part is it's right outside a metro, 24x7 store in walkable distance, rickshaw available at doorstep...loved every bit of it

Little costly that other hostels but it has AC for the nights... And the receptionists are very polite and helpful. Location is good, just opposite to the Delhi gate metro station ( exit 3) . Jama masjid is 15 minutes walk from this hostel.

The best thing about this place is the proximity with the metro. It is located just on the right of delhi gate metro exit 3. Unfortunately during my stay, ghey had no hot water for shower, the electronic keys were not working and the place has a pungent smell at times. But the beds are really comfortable and I'd say it's a safe and cozy place for girls too.

It has been an amazing stay at goSTOPS Delhi. The room service has been great, the common area was a great place to chill, play, and work, and meeting fellow travelers and backpackers was a great time. The Delhi Gate Metro Station is just a few steps from the hotel. From a pricing perspective, the hotel is budget-friendly compared to similar hotels in the region and scope. I plan to visit the hotel again during my upcoming stay in Delhi.

Around 500 USD cash was stolen from my bag in the locker. I was booking here for 7 nights in male dorms. The reception said only 1 locker key for guest and no backup key for reception, but the interesting thing is wallet cash not stolen but the these 500 USD stolen from my bag. One possible reason was like when I kept my wallet for hostel food payment and stayed in common area, skillful people took the chance to lock and unlock it while I stayed in common area during these days. Sometimes hostel with friendly welcome/good location/accessible food or high cost value, still can’t not balance these lost as foreign tourists.

My recent stay at gostops Srinagar was an absolute delight. Nestled in a fantastic location, the hostel exuded incredible vibes that added an extra charm to the entire experience. The comfortable dorms were a welcome retreat after a day filled with exploration. What truly stood out was the hostel's ambiance, blending relaxation with a sense of community and a great hospitality by Irfan bhai. The cozy setup and the opportunity to meet fellow traveler made the stay memorable. I would highly recommend staying there.

The place is pretty good .... Just like other backpackers hostel, it has the same vibes. Common rooms, playing area, smoking rooms,.. everything is perfect. The only thing to improve is that they should provide good linens... As some of it are torned apart and does not make a good impression. Rest seems perfect for a backpacker/Globetrotters.

Worst Experience... Good for those who are going with friends and need bunker beds. Couples ❌❌. I requested them that my wife is not well, can you help me get just 30 min. Or 1 hour check-in. But instead they gave rooms to other guests even after requesting. We had to wait for checkin in their common room. --: Building is very old.❌ --: No room Service ❌ --: rooms are not upto mark❌ --: no proper lighting in room❌ --: even their room lights are deteriorated.❌ --: they don't have a ceiling fan in room, instead they use a wall fan which is not sufficient for the whole room ❌ --: Toilets are very compact, smelly, unhygienic and with no proper drainage ❌ --: city centre ✔️ --: food menu is good but little expensive ✔️ --: Common area is clean are spacious✔️ So i believe cons have more weightage over pros. Choose wisely.

Room was good, well maintained. They are observing strict regulation regarding covid norms which the best thing at this time. Staff was very helpful. They serve homely food. I just had one concern that we were made to wait very long for check in as their timing is from 1PM. So keep that in mind when you book a room there. But they have a beautiful common area to wait where one can keep them busy with various activities. They have a common wash room and a clock room too for the guest to keep their luggage. Location wise we find it little difficult to find the place.

A budget friendly stay, and also having a great vibe to chill. The rooms and services are clean and maintained. It's also a great place to meet fellow travellers. The common lounge is the heart of the place. I liked the dorm rooms too, they have options for personal suites as well. The location of this hostel was also a plus for me, to soak into the Delhi market feels. Very conveniently connected through public transport, and is close to NDLS railway station.

Very bad experience I have ever had. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR COUPLES, rooms are dirty not sanitized even you don't get any facility in here. Rooms are small compared to the price. The main thing is that is you don't get comfortable here. Unhealthy, unprotected, Dirty, No privacy. If you are a bachelor then it's OK but DON'T GO WITH YOUR WIFE OR FAMILY. It's very bad

Go stops is a fantastic place to stay. Very comfortable beds, neat and clean rooms and washrooms. The crowd around is all youngsters. If you are a bachelor or planning to stay with a few friends it is one of the best places to stay in Delhi. You will love the vibe of the place ! For the price you pay, you get a very good value. Delhi Gate metro station exit nr. 3 just next to it. Both New Delhi and Old Delhi train station near by. I got my room just after arriving in the morning. Haven't tried any food because I preferred to go for street food that you can get in the area behind.

Would love to visit here again. The washrooms were sparkling clean, the beds were decent, and the lockers were spacious too. The common area had a musician visited during my stay. We did rhyme with his guitar upto 2 AM at night. The common area had a big screen where we watched cricket match for sometime, had Kathi Rolls, Soup and Coffee. Their meal is under one's budget and the same goes for their pretty rooms. I made a lot of friends here who hailed from the length and breadth of the country. We are still in touch. I would prefer this place over hotels and even homestays.

Hands down the best hostel for solo travelers. I have started at other hostels. But this one is the best of the best. In terms of cleanliness of rooms and toilets, location, food, crowd, safety. Everything is top notch. If someone is looking for a hostel start in Delhi. This is the place to stay at. Very polite staff and property is well maintained.

I wish i could give them zero stars. This the worst company. They are so misleading and cheaters i cant even explain. I booked my stay here which said full refund on cancellation prior to 24 hours. And due to an emergency i had to cancel and now they say that no refund can be processed. Very disappointed. I was a very old loyal customer but seems like they have missed one. Dont stay here. They are pathetic.

The people working here are really nice and generous, they were really helpful but the location as well as the space is very bad. The experience wasn't as good as we use to have at other gostops property. They don't have proper kitchen, all they cook is packed food. They should start a proper and decent kitchen.
