Undoubtedly
the
worst
place
I’ve
ever
stayed.
First
and
foremost,
the
farmstay
is
no
longer
open.
It
apparently
closed
a
month
ago.
Some
of
these
recent
reviews
are
clearly
fake.
Of
course
we
were
not
told
this
when
we
booked
it
nor
any
time
before
our
arrival.
We
arrived
at
the
given
address
for
the
farmstay,
which
was
a
dead
end
in
some
alley.
We
called
their
number
and
were
rerouted
to
their
“International
Tourist
Hostel.”
At
this
hostel,
we
were
charged
$86,
the
same
price
as
our
farmstay
room.
We
had
landed
at
5
AM,
only
hours
before,
so
we
were
tired
and
simply
wanted
to
sleep.
The
room
we
were
given
was
a
nightmare.
The
sheets
were
dirty.
The
room
was
freezing.
Worst
of
all?
The
bathroom.
I’ve
spent
plenty
of
time
in
bad
bathrooms
on
my
travels
but
this
beat
them
all.
The
toilet
had
not
been
cleaned
in
some
time.
There
was
urine
in
the
toilet
and
all
over
the
toilet
seat.
There
were
two
used
towels
hanging
in
the
bathroom.
The
“shower”
was
cold
and
pitiful.
Again,
we
were
tired,
so
we
made
due
but
left
to
find
food.
I
should
also
mention
I
had
booked
an
extra
day
prior
to
the
day
of
our
arrival
because
I
knew
we’d
be
arriving
very
early
and
wanted
to
give
them
plenty
of
time
to
prepare.
As
we
left,
we
asked
our
host,
Kamlesh
Bhardwaj,
who
had
just
gleefully
taken
our
money
for
what
was
supposed
to
be
a
“deluxe”
room,
to
have
our
room
properly
cleaned
while
we
were
out.
When
we
returned
5
hours
later,
nothing
had
been
done.
We
immediately
packed
our
bags
and
asked
for
a
partial
refund
for
our
remaining
two
days.
After
some
nonsense
back
and
forth
with
Kamlesh
and
bizarre
phone
conversations
with
the
owner,
“Mr.
Deepak”,
we
were
denied
our
refund.
We
left
and
booked
one
of
the
many
significantly
better
accommodations
around
Delhi
(for
less
money).
Sidenote:
some
tourists
were
arriving
as
we
were
leaving
for
good
and
we
managed
to
prevent
them
from
being
scammed,
so
you
can
be
sure
we
were
not
the
only
ones
to
whom
they
did
this.
