I have a mixed review of this place though this place makes me feel nostalgic and reminds me of the time my whole family used to visit this place for dinner! The ambience is old English style fine dine but the drawback is carpets seem a little less clean. There was a peculiar unpleasant smell all around, later I realised it was because of the placements made of recycled cardboard. . Coming to food.... We had a club sandwich which was really good.! And even the quantity was pretty good. Then comes frappe, which was strong and bitter in taste. Cappuccino was good.

So recently I footed into this restaurant which is known as the United House of Coffee and fell in love with the foremost step I have taken. The interiors are entirely remarkable. The well-dressed attendants were there to greet and recommend you items to try. The menu is comprehensive and filled with a variety of cuisines. The drinks or coffee menu has several varieties with such fancy names. The portion sizes of all the drinks are good for one. We have ordered a Miss Universe drink and coffee accompanied by cheesecake with strawberry ice cream. At last, I would say that one should visit if they are looking for a calm cozy and camelot kinda place. One should visit for coffee and drinks. If we talk about the food the prices are a bit high as compared to other pocket-friendly restaurants plus they do charge VSC. Overall it was a tremendous experience.

Visited this place twice and the food was delicious as always. It has a royal theme with chandeliers and carpets, loved the Ambience. It's a restro-bar, so you can enjoy your food with drinks. Its a very sophisticated place so if you are looking for a good dining place for your family then its the perfect place. The food is good and on a pricier side. Would not recommend for a college outing since its a expensive and as stated earlier, its a bit sophisticated. The number of dishes they offered were overwhelming; hard to choose because too many options. Nonetheless, the food came in big portions! The taste was great too. The staff was very attentive and even though the place was packed, food came quite fast. The atmosphere feels luxury 😂

Gorgeous place. Superb for family visit, meetings and dates. Food is excellent both is quantity and quality. Staff is extremely polite. The main attraction being the chandelier and the old downtown London theme. A perfect place to spend some quality time.

Interesting place for food in the heart of Canought Place in Central Delhi. Very good ambience. From breakfast to lunch to dinner. Good service and Interesting menu. Nice mutton dish plus daal and rotis. Only gulab jamun was an issue. Toooo big. They did indicate. But we were not expecting such a large portion. But overall good experience.

A restaurant standing tall for ages and provides a sense of the bygone era and luxury of fine dining. On entrance a large chandelier welcomes with open hand. The seats though have worn out still provides a sense of royalty. There is an upstairs seating for large families too though it can only be accessible by staircase. The restaurant does have a full bar so warm up while you order for food The service is top notch with special attention provided to each patron. I loved the manner my waiter provided me guidance when I looked for. The price is slightly premium but if one can afford thus is definitely a place to visit with friends and family for a lavish dinner. Visited this restaurant and was in love with it the moment I entered. The interiors are simply amazing! Now to the food, The menu is extensive and filled with a variety of cuisines. The drinks menu is equally long and they boost about their collection of wines to have from. The portion sizes of all the items were very good. Did not expect them to be such filling. We ordered for the below items - 1. Lotus stem chips & water chestnuts - Loved the lotus stems, it had a good burst of tangy and sweet flavours. 2. Hari Bhari Asharfian - Very similar to a traditional hara bhara kebab but the spinach & dry fruits were crushed to the finest possible consistency and the spices and herbs used made it succulent. 3. Spinach, chives & corn crystal dumplings - the dim sums were delicious. Also loved the sauces given with it. 4. Pomegranate & basil mocktail - The mocktail was really nice. 5. Sangre - It was a Gin based cocktail and was very flavourful. All in all, absolutely enjoyed the food at the restaurant. The staff was also very attentive and suggestive when asked for recommendations.

Located at Connaught place, the venue is pretty crowded. Must try at least once in New Delhi. The food is fine with large portions. Kind of a classic I guess in the area.

Simply cannot cope up with reservations, I had reserved the table for my mom dad anniversary but had to wait for 30 minutes more for the reservation that I have made a day before. Pathetic people , cannot manage 1 simple reservation

The place is as elegant as the name suggest, right in the heart of delhi, it's just not about coffee, but their wine collection is just too good. Recently I was there for breakfast and everything is on mark. I had Vegetarian Sandwich and Vegetarian Cutlets both were really amazing. One must try their cutlets.

The restaurant is very suitable for fine dining in comfort and leisure. Please do not miss their golden painted roof. With contemporary furniture it gives that royal touch. Indian and Mughlai food are excellent. The service is very good and staff very helpful.

One of the best places I've ever visited! The menu was so vast and extensive that the only regrettable part of my experience is that there are so many dishes I couldn't try. I loved every single dish I ordered and savoured it to the last morsel. Two things to keep in mind though, I went on a weekday, and despite that the restaurant was full, and second is that this place is quite pricey. But all things considered it was an experience that one should most definitely try. Can't wait to go back to United Coffee House?

I went this vintage restaurant for high tea. Firstly, the place interior is just beautiful. Giving old British vibes. And of course you can not miss 2 huge chandeliers. So for high tea, we ordered tea and cold coffee with icecream. Both things tasted good and complimented our food. Then we ordered some paneer pakora and egg pakora( I guess you can not go wrong pakoras.its just I found then bit expensive. Then I ordered veg and non veg sandwiches they tasted delicious and very perfect for evening. We also ordered veg and chicken cutlets. Personally i was not a fan of those and also thought they could be much better in terms of flavor. Other that that I also ordered 1 huge Samosa which was full of peas and I like my samosa with lots of Aloo. So overall I just found this place to be overpriced. My personal recommendation will be Tea/cold coffee with chicken sandwich

The place is nice to visit. I would rather say “Nice to visit once”. We ordered Pasta (white sauce), Nachos salad, French Fries, Pizza and Mojito. The taste was good with slight bit of improvement required in service. Rating each of the dish we ordered: Pizza: 4/5 French Fries: 5/5 Pasta: 5/5 Nachos salad: 4/5 Mojito: 3/5 (too sweet to handle) Service definitely needs improvement, as all the dishes were brought together which made it difficult to manage. Price is slightly on the higher side, specially considering the kind of comparison /competition present in the vicinity. Can try once!

Nice welcoming staff with a cosy and smart interior. There’s a smaller dining area upstairs which feels a little more intimate but still has a great level of service. The menu for both food and drinks is really extensive and well worth taking the time to pursue thoroughly. The staff are willing to make recommendations and everything is served professionally and quickly. Portion sizes were great and the flavours superb. A nice atmosphere and never a feeling of being rushed despite them being busy made for a great evening meal and I’d be my choice to return to when shopping in the area.

I have never been to such classy coffee house. This was the first time I went to United coffee house. Its in cannaught place. We had to wait little bit to get inside but since staff was very hospitable there was not any kind of inconvenience. DECOR IS SOMETHING WORTH WATCHING. Not even decor even menu was so vast. Had everything from eating drinking to even alcoholic coffee which I had never imagined existed. We had pasta and it was delicious. We also drank Irish whiskey coffee. It was great. The ambience was calm yet classy. Was pricey but seeing the quality service and versatility I think it was quite reasonable.

It’s a great place for dining. It was my first time visiting. We ordered only one dish- Carbonara Pasta which was too good & I’d definitely recommend💯 The sauce was so creamy and perfectly made. It was a bit on the pricey end. The menu is extensive and offers a variety of cuisines. They have a few signatures that you can definitely try! Ambience was really good and cozy. I met my friend here for coffee. We ordered cold coffee , iced mocha and bambaiya sandwich. Food & coffee both were amazing. Sandwich is so heavy that it can easily fill up 2 people. Being vegetarian we ordered dal makhani, paneer lababdar,mix veg..Food is delicious service was promt and efficient. Seating is in two level. It has a aura of British era with big chandeliers,decorated walls, wood panelling.With beautiful floral designs on the walls, huge Venetian chandeliers hanging from the roof, a vintage-looking bar, and soft music playing in the background, this place will warm your heart with its old-world charm. Overall 0good experience.

Bit Crowded during the weekends. Try visiting this place during the weekdays otherwise you would have to wait for a couple hours. It has the most beautiful ambiance and very amazing staff. Their service is on point and they go extra mile to suggest you the best food out there and will explain the ingredients patiently. We ordered Prawn Alfredo Penne Pasta. It was the best. The after taste of Prawns was just amazing. We also ordered drinks. Their drinks are pretty descent and not too sweet which is good. Try their Friend Lambs. They were really good. You’ll get a bit of fish oil taste at the end. The only problem was the accessibility. They just have one washroom.

Five stars just for the decor and ambience... I had heard from here and there about how old and popular this place was but never got to visit myself. Finally i did and i fell in love instantly with the feel of the place and how beautifully and aesthetically it was furnished and decorated. It was like this Treasure hidden in plain sight behind not so attractive Entrance and only to find this amazing beauty when you pass those gates. Honestly i cannot say much about the food yet as I only tasted a veg grilled sandwich which was not that great though. Looking forward to my next visit.

The place is good. The ambience is good. Food was delicious. Staff and their hospitality was great. Loved the service and food. Their “Shabanam kaari” was very delicious. Their “kadhai paneer” and “Urad mataki masala” which is their special dish are fairly good. An issue that I noticed was that there is only one washroom for ladies which sometimes causes queue waiting outside in the passage. Had there been more, The queue could be avoided. Well. This is a really nice place to dine at.

Wow. What a place. Wonder if my words would do justice to what it really means to the people of Delhi. Its a Cafe, a Restaurant and a Bar. Catering to every need of the clientele. Having been there since 1942, it's quite an ICONIC establishment. Good and tasty food, well attired serving team, efficient and fast service. Prices are a bit high, but thats expected in a place like Delhi. Parking is along the road side and can sometimes be a problem. Definitely an experience to have when in Delhi.

We visited this opulent place at the start of the year, and boy, weren't we wowed by the place. The place has a regal setting to it, and the interiors are done up so well that you would want to take a photo of yourself with the dim lighting up top (with wooden walls and nice upholstery), so shutterbugs and models, here is a place to click some classy stuff. The restaurant is spacious, the staff is courteous and we went in with a mood for just desserts, so we didn't explore the food much. However, being Calcuttans, we noticed that Coffee House favorites from across the nation were here. I had a sneak peek at the nearby tables too, pardon my curiosity, and the Chicken A La Kiev stands out particularly for me. We had a West Indian Coffee (with Alcohol) and a Tiramisu - and both were lovely. FYI - check out the ground floor if you want lighting ! All in all, cheerful and private!

Always a pleasure to dine in at UCH. I really love the hospitality of the staffs, starting right from the entry gate to ordering food. Taste of the food, ambience is also worth mentioning.. I visited here along with my mother, even on a weekday all the tables were full, we had to wait for 15 mins to enter. It's a nice place for classy dining experience, good for family, dates, meet-ups. Must visit for all.

I have been visiting this place since last 6 years and trust me you will never get disappointed. Before going there I was in impression that I like only open restaurants, windows and great view is must. But what a change of feelings I have experienced by coming down here. It is a very old restaurant, opened since 1942 with a great menu on table. There is wide selection of brunch , lunch evening snacks and dinner ideas. You can have hard liquors as well. Portion sizes are ver good. Waiters at this restaurants are very polite and will guide you through their menu, if you get confused with wide menu. Great place for non veg lovers. These guys have maintained it as luxury dining place and yes it is Awesome. Some people might find it damn expensive, but I tell you its worth every penny. Portion sizes are big and you can get your food packed as well. Please do visit here for wonderful dining experience. You can take along your family, friends here and you can also arrange romantic dates. I am leaving some photographs for your reference. Just experience it !!

Went there with such high expectations, but was utterly and completely disappointed Where do I start? The decor perhaps which is an attempt to re create an old world charm. That’s all that turned out good. Service was unspeakable - slow and condescending. The food we orders was all Indian affair with starters and main course and deserts as recommended by the head waiter Mr Tahir. Railway Mutton Curry, Chiicken Kebabs, Paneer Tikkas were so ordinary and disappointing. Still hopeful we ordered the main course which was served cold - mutton curry, chicken curry , paneer and everything including the rotis and naans, just dumped on the table, cold and soggy. The touted deserts of Kala Jaam and Chocolate Story were so over rated and disappointing again. The staff was condescending and inefficient. If you really want to go, order a coffee (not sure of its standard) and spend an hour! Safer Don’t go, waste of time and waste of money!

This is an iconic restaurant with perfect service, the staff is Freire fly and serve you with smile as some of them have been working at this location for well over decade. Nice update to the old location with great ambiance. Went here for breakfast with a friend and started our morning with great coffee. The bar looked well stocked and neatly arranged, if it was not 10 am I might have ordered some drinks 🤣 I ordered butter masala dosa and my friend ordered breakfast combo with fresh bacon. The bacon was fresh and omelet was yummy. Butter dosa was super crispy and I could deal the fresh I ingredients and spices. Will definitely go back and enjoy the service by super friendly server staff.

The interior is really really good to go The vintage feels you get is just mesmerising I was full though I still ordered some kebabs to try the quality they serve. The kebab was okayish I thought they’d be more tender full and soft but rather they were not still the restaurant visit is worth it. Charming place with beautiful interior design. The Interior gives us a taste of colonial aesthetics. I will recommend this place for people who like to have a beautiful date or family time.

The prices of this place have always been a bit on the higher side. But I feel that the food is not upto the mark. It used to be great, but now most of the items felt a bit tasteless, it's not bad, but it's not great either (which you expect considering the high prices). Maybe it was to cater to a foreign clientele, but I was not satisfied. Apart from that, the overall experience and the Ambience of the place still is and have always been quite nice.

Great food as always! Manager too pushy on buying more drinks, should let the patrons enjoy the food in peace. Please don't spoil the experience by pushy staff.

One of the oldest restaurants in Delhi located in E Block of Connaught place. Serves a very wide variety of Drinks and a vast dining option to choose from. The interiors are classic. One should prefer this place if one wants to indulge in a conversation as the music isn't too loud.

Food quality is too good. We all love its ambience. The first time ww visited this ppace was in 1988 when my brother got engaged to my bhabhi at this place only... we hold many good memories ..

Visited this a few days ago when I was in Delhi. This place looks quite okay from outside but from inside it's extremely fancy. It's a really high end breakfast place. The food tastes quite good but the portion size is a disappointment. The American breakfast breakfast costs around Rs. 450 but isn't fulfilling for even one person. Other. Than portion size, everything here is quite stunning and worth a visit for a special date or occasion.

It's not a hangout place, but it makes for a great date place or even a fancy lunch or dinner place. I'd recommend lunch, cause you'd want to load up on the yum food. I also recommend this place for some old school dishes like a'la Kiev and chops! They also have a wide range of cocktails that were well made and tasty! We like the orange daiquiris!!

This coffee house is situated in the most renowned place of Delhi that is Connaught Place. Location is pretty awesome. I ordered there Coffee and Dry fruit Samosa, taste was up to the mark. As the name suggests this place gives you great coffee and a wonderful ambiance to enjoy and spend time. Not only coffee but tasty food and snacks go hand in hand worth this place.

Best continental food we've had in some time. The service, ambience, lighting and music were all fabulous. Had some draught beer to drink which was chilled and crispy. Ate chicken meringue and chicken BBQ sizzler. Both dishes were yummy with good portion size. Slightly pricy but overall a lovely experience.

We ordered dal makani butter chicken and malai kofta Malai kofta was very flavourful And the Butter chicken was not the too sweet kind great balanced spice and aromatic after a very long time really enjoyed the dish.. United Coffee House has been one of the most Elegant fine dine since decades. When someone visits UCH it is not just food or the service but the Ambiance and beauty of the place and I don't even need to describe Delicious food.

One of the best place to eat in CP Delhi, the place has this amazing feel to it. The most courteous staff I have seen. And the food quality is one of the most amazing I had. Loved every bit of it!

I went there on a Sunday afternoon, we had to wait hardly for 2-3 minutes to get a table. The staff was courteous. The food took a little to arrive but considering the place was full packed, I think it's okay. We just ordered Paneer Butter Masala and Missi Roti. The food was perfect. It tasted so good. I am giving it a four star since the prices are high, but even then I would love to visit again.

The ambience, the service and the food, this place is a winner all the three aspects. I had fish and chips here 5 years back and yesterday I again went to this place and ordered the same. It was scrumptious but expensive. It is a quite place, with courteous staff.

A very quaint old school but posh kind of place, with a plethora of options to choose from. The food preparation was delicious. Do book a table before you visit!

Well to be honest.. The Ambience of United Coffee House is truly amazing.. cozy dark lightening to sit down with your beverage 🍻.. but the Coffee is pretty average.. though there is pizza is decent.. Overall I would say a over hyped place when it come to food or I should say Coffee

Very classy place for a formal lunch/ dinner. Prices are equally high. We tried broccoli almond soup, veg salt and pepper and Fattoush salad which were good. Quesadillas were average. We tried a new dish- Chargrilled mushroom with rice. While the overall taste was good, mushrooms were very less and colored peppers filled the whole gravy. This could have been better given that the name of the dish has 'mushrooms'

Centrally location, lovely ambience especially on 1st floor - very cozy, courteous and friendly service and delicious food ! It's a lovely place to go and have a relaxed chat with your friends or special friend 😊

Situated in the heart of CP, the place has a perfect ambience with vintage decor. It is really treat to eyes. They are offering different cuisines ranging from muglai, continental, european etc. Its a fine dining, family, highly sophicated restaurant which is rarely available at peak times. We ordered rohan josh from kashmiri cuisine and some chicken Hyderabadi.... we were so hungry to take pictures. Food was overpriced and was of average taste.

The moment you enter this place, it feels like you’ve stepped into a different era. As you will read in other reviews, it has an old school charm, a nostalgia attached to a different era. This is also reflected in their elaborate menu which has food from many different places in India and from different times. My friend and I had the vegetarian platter: Teen Mirch Paneer Tikka (absolutely lipsmackingly delicious!), tandoori mushrooms with basil and cheddar (also yummy), Amritsari til wale aloo (what a presentation!), Malai seekh (basic but delicious) and coffee. Service was excellent and reminiscent of an era gone by.

Went here at late night, this restaurant has a reputation and it lives up to it, The menu is overwhelmingly big ,it's very hard to choose but they have something for everybody. Drinks were great , ambiance is good and food is awesome, and it doesn't come cheap. Tried chimichanga sizzler, burger and LIIT If you can afford it do try this restaurant. Recommended.

It was surely an incredible experience to witness the legacy of this place. Its been here for more than 50 years and holds the story of all times. The food is simply delicious, they have great options for italians and north indian food, however- it is quite expensive and even though the food is delicious it's just didn't make much sense to visit this place. It is quite congested and could be a one time experience for anyone interested in legacy and witness old cp vibes.

I went here for a high tea party and it turned out to be the best ever !! This place serves the best food and their starters are my utmost favourite of all time. Their staff is courteous and nice too. Interestingly, they also have regional spl items too in the menu.

United Coffee House in Cp, Delhi is simply marvellous as it has ravishing decor and the colour combination is really pleasing here. I went here for lunch, they have outstanding options for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. The portion is great and quality is of exceptional good. Loved the place and consider it best in Delhi

The food was terrible. I ordered this sweet dish and it was stale and had a weird smell to it. The worst food i have had in my life . The added service charge to the bill which they denied to remove . The waiters are arrogant . Please avoid this .

Very nice and upscale sit down restaurant in cp. The decor was very nice, designed for upper middle class and older college students. Staff was very well dressed and attentive, menu was exhaustive ( I was clearly lost ). Food is on the expensive side, coffee was kinda okay. The sandwiches were good not great. But if you are looking to spend an evening in a nice place, keep uch in the mind. It has a great drink collection, fantastic bar and really great staff.
