This was the first time I visited Cha bar and i would say it was the best experience at CP for me. I am definitely going to visit it again. The ambience is just perfect. This is an Oxford bookstore and also a cafe. We tried hot cappuccino and a cold coffee. It was good. The price was good as well. Best experience ever.

Cha Bar has a lovely ambiance and is heavenly for the bibliophiles. We ordered "Platter of Chips with Dips" and "Truck Driver 100 Mile Ki Cha". There was no platter but a small bucket of fries that had soaked in the oil. They were not fresh and the instant frozen fries were used. Tea was okay-ish and nothing extraordinary as well. The vibes are nice but the food is not worth it. Kind of overhyped!

I visited this place very recently. The main motive was to read some books and to enjoy my day. But, it wasn't possible due to heavy rush (may be that was Sunday). But I enjoyed by delicious food dishes. I had ordered basil pesto vegetable panini sandwich and pasta. I pleased by sandwich which was very hot and toothsome (Thanks for extra, free potato chips 😀). Efforts of staff members are admirable. Only, one thing they are not offering is charging port. Ambience of Cha Bar is really good. I like blue grey color contrast. Next to this Oxford store is accessible. Plenty books, hand made diaries and some gift options are avilable here. You can buy a book from Oxford store and enjoy your reading in Cha bar. Note: Your personal book is not allowed here. If you are carrying any book, then you need to submit at the down stairs. And you can collect at the end.

A lovely place to visit with friends and family . In morning there are limited options, there is a specific column in the menu for that. Best time to visit is noon till midnight also this place is crowded so you may have to wait around 15-20 minutes at least. Great and happening ambience as well as the hospitality there. Staff is really polite and provides you with the best they can offer. There is issue of parking so try to go in a Metro or cab there. A great bakery as well present in it also. A lot of options to try. Overall a great experience, you should go for pizza as well they offer a great taste. Definitely worth going again

Its a decent, cozy, and warm(poor ventilation) place with overpriced food. I think the main attraction is Oxford bookstore else the food? Pasta (arabiata) tastes sweet, pita bread is just plain uncooked dough. Cha bar, could have been much better.

Cha Bar, located in the heart of Connaught Place within the Oxford Bookstore, is a hidden gem for bookworms and tea lovers. I often visit there with my friends, this is a charming tea café, and I must say it left a lasting impression. The interiors of Cha Bar are simply beautiful. The space is tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The shelves adorned with books add a touch of literary charm, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon of reading and sipping tea. The cutlery at Cha Bar is top-notch. From the elegant teapots to the delicate tea cups, every detail is carefully chosen to enhance the tea-drinking experience. The attention to detail is commendable and contributes to the overall enjoyment of the visit. But the highlight of Cha Bar is undoubtedly the menu. The range of dishes and drinks on offer is truly impressive. Whether you're in the mood for a classic masala chai or an exotic herbal infusion, Cha Bar has you covered. The teas are brewed to perfection, with a depth of flavors that is truly satisfying. The accompanying snacks and bites are equally delightful, with a variety of options to please every palate. The service at Cha Bar is attentive and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable about the teas and always ready to provide recommendations based on your preferences. They create a welcoming and relaxed environment, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. In conclusion, Cha Bar in the Oxford Bookstore Connaught Place is a haven for tea enthusiasts. With its beautiful interiors, great cutlery, and a delectable array of dishes and drinks, it offers a delightful escape from the bustling city. Whether you're a book lover or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Cha Bar is the perfect destination.

This cafe is basically built inside the Oxford bookstore, it has a great ambience and is student pocket friendly. We ordered Falafel hummus with Pita bread and the veg snack platter, followed by basil pesto, baked cheesecake and hot chocolate. Food was very delicious, especially pesto and cheesecake were too good to resist. Highly recommended for evening hangouts & dates.

One of my fav place in the entirety of Delhi. Mashed within a cute book shop (Oxford) and serving more than 100 varieties of tea and nice food which is also economical. The place buzzes with youngsters and young at heart alike and the service and the people who serve are amazing.

You'll never guess where Cha Bar is! Located inside the Oxford Bookstore, Cha Bar offers an elegant and rustic vibe to it's diners with only a handful of serving and kitchen staff. Their menu features a wide range of beverages, especially Chai, and hence the name. They also serve an ample variety of continental and Indian appetizers and desserts to accompany your Chai. We ended up ordering a Ginger tea which could've been a bit stronger, but we really loved the Masala Chai and the Blueberry Cheesecake! Overall, Cha Bar offers a haven to the avid bookworms on a shopping spree in Oxford to have a quick read.

Pathetic service. I have never experienced this kind of bad behaviour by any staff at any other cafe. They took too long to make just a cold coffee. We had to remind them so many times. Seriously unprofessional staff. Milkshake tastes very bad. Never gonna recommend this place.

Nice small place for brunch or quick bite. It's inside Oxford bookstore and they have very good collection. Ambience is very nice. The best part is the service team, they are dedicated and cheerful. The food is nicely prepared and tasty.

One of the best restaurant/cafe in Connaught Place as well as in Delhi. Tucked inside the Oxford Book Store, it has a wonderful vibe. It gets a bit crowded in the evening but the wait times are not long. There are scores and scores of different types of teas and brews you can try as well a large number of side accompaniments like burgers, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches and cakes. Excellent service and reasonable wait times. I've been here so many times. Prices are also very reasonable. One of the best options for a date or a chill time when in Connaught Place.

Near gate no.5 Rajiv chowk metro station. Coffee was just 70% ice ans 30% coffee..Food is okayish not that great there was not much of ventilation the air conditioning was not working and it was very crowded. If you're a book lover the Oxford library is great to search through. I'd recommend it only for hang out with friends over chai and books nothing much.

Just went for evening tea while taking a stroll on CP, service is very slow even though all the tables are not occupied and they have around 4-5 staff for this narrow cafe. The menu is really vast and detailed with a plethora of teas but the normal ginger tea itself is served in the tiniest aesthetic cups filled three fourths of the way, not worth the price per cup IMO, also non existent ginger flavor. I am not sure if we can ask them to customize the tea, I didnt try, but I wished I could ask for the ginger tea to be made strong with less milk and sugar. Would not be visiting this place again, there's a Chaayos nearby as well. Ambience is great, love the light fixtures, it is really narrow but it is connected to the Oxford Book store so you will not get bored while waiting for your teas to arrive, we went to the bookstore, browsed, bought a book and sat back down before our tea was served.

This is very nice place. In cannaught place this place is far much better in comparison to CCD, Starbucks like. You can spend here 3 to 4 hours and can have a lot to eat. Cha Bar have a very big menu. Walnuts cake, Vanila and strawberry 🍓 shake is my favourite. There is a lot to eat. Must go there.

Beautiful Collection of BOOKs at oXFord book store which is attached to the dine in place. Interior is Nice. Staff are polite. Place is a big hype. Food was tasteless. Cold Coffee was extremely sweet and watery! White Sauce Pasta was tasteless.we didn't order after this, even though we were not full. And Left from there Oxford book store is good to get Pictures clicked and the Cha Bar is a good place to waste your money.😅

I have been going to this place for over 7 years now and this place never disappoints me. What more? It's a cafe inside a library. They serve a lot of variety of tea and the good is amazing!🤌 It is not noisy/loud there so it's a good place to have good conversations.

Place is nice for short meetups with friends over a cup of tea or coffee. Interior and book stalls added flavors to location and for getting good clicks there. Food items are good in taste and on pocket. I like chicken sandwich and samosa the best. The only issue I found is that place is very crowded and if there is a meetup of more than 5 people then it will take time to get 2 tables together and to combine them. For more updates. The atmosphere was Nice. As it was a library cafe. There was a huge collection of books and the food was nice too. The staff was polite. But the books there were on MRP and not worth to buy from there as you can find the same books online at much discount. Although a nice place to visit.

Latest visit 2023: the service is still poor. There was a single person taking all orders and serving food. They took quite a lot of time to get our order ready We had the passionfruit bubble tea, which was good enough, nothing special. The hindustani veg burger was good, the bun was very thick. And we had the falafel platter which was the worst falafel I've ever had, it was super dry. Small sitting area, very crowded, poor service. The staff forgets to get your order but adds it to the bill. Food is nice though, the vada pav is a must try. Service and staff need improvement. Love the chocolate truffle they have.

I and my bestie went to have lunch at Cha Bar and all over it was a good experience. The combination of cafe and bookstore together is what we feel is the best combination. We ordered a total of 4 items. Ice Lemon Tea - Tasty (4.5/5) Falafel With Hummus - Delicious (5/5) Paneer Tikka Pizza - Cheesy and Crispy (4.5/5) White Sause Pasta - okay (4/5) The only problem was that it was overcrowded and way too much noisy. Maybe we went on a Saturday so we got too much crowd. But apart from that everything was good and beautiful.

Char Bar cafe cum Oxford book store, situated on the outskirts of Connaught Place near Barakhamba road is a perfect place for all the chai lovers and book worms. This place has delicious flavours of chai and amazing breakfast options without burning a hole in your pocket. The ambience too is great and one can relish some moments of peace after work or can be accompanied by friends/family. Although it’s competitors Chaayos and Chai Point are all nearby 😂 but the oxford book store and cheap food here makes the difference #chabar #barakhambaroad #connaughtplace #chailovers #oxfordbookstore

Simply put, a nice warm cozy place for good food and bibliophiles, getting a share of best of both worlds. The place is located within Oxford Book Store in CP. We tried 3 items on the menu and all the items were good to go! Chicken Sandwich, Peach Ice Tea, Red Velvet Cake The food was on point and delicious with generous proportions. The menu is extensive and offers good food at really competitve prices, can be said econimical and not heavy on pocket. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and looking for hlod quick bite. They also offer quick indian snacks like Samosa, Cutlets, etc.

Few weeks ago I visited this outlet which is located at the heart of New delhi - Connaught place or commonly known as CP. The outlet has a beautiful hall fully dedicated to showcasing love towards books. Behind the hall is the outlet which hardly have 50 60 covers. Not much of a seating but perfectly defines cha bar. I had 2 different types of ice teas (blackcurrant and peach one ) peach one was good but the blackcurrant one needs a major revamp. I ordered pizza also which taste okayish but could have been better. The crust seems little dry and the toppings were not properly baked too. Still it was manageable but do take this point into consideration. Overall experience was fine but food could have been better. Just give little attention and maybe you can see some miracle ;)

The place is very nice, feels like a library with in-built cafe, the food is great and is very pocket friendly, thay have various books and also have some stalls having jewellery which supports a noble cause. The service was quite fast seeing the amount of people there were. I loved the place visit again soon. Just one advice add some good thick shakes to the menu. The place has not discounts on any of the apps(Dineout, Magicpin, Eazydiner) but it's very pocket friendly

Cha Bar is the first Tea Cafes of its kind. It had first started in Kolkata. I had always seen this cafe from the Oxford Bookstore that I visited a couple of times which adjoins it, but I could never actually visit this Cafe and experience the food and the atmosphere. When I first visited and opened the Menu, I was surprised by the wide and diverse variety of tea offered on the menu, and that's when I realised that it is 'Cha Bar' for a reason and not just a fancy name. It also serves small nibbles, coffee, summer coolers and other food items. I liked the vibe of the place. The staff is nice and polite.I also liked the food items available and surely want to try some day. I had only had the Bubble milkshake which was kinda disappointing keeping in mind the innovative way it is served. It was just average, ofcourse there is this excitement and curiosity to burst and taste all the flavoured bubbles. Nevertheless I want to visit the cafe again and try other items on the menu.

Cha-Bar serves you with varieties of tea from Darjeeling and snacks. The cost is so minimal and food is so filling. I loved the Green Apple Soda. Ambience gives a look of old British restro at country-side.

Beautiful cafe. Lively ambience. I personally liked the vibrant colours inside the cafe. Variety of Books and other stationary items. Tried Cold coffee and Black current smoothie and it was served the best way. They only accept cash or card online payment is not available here.

An affordable place in CP to have beverages and snacks. They have a wide variety of teas and coffees to choose from. The place was crowded when we went there. Peach iced tea and wrap were average. Their pasta and cold coffee were good. The place is small and the staff is usually very busy.

It is an awesome place. You can buy books from the bookstore. You can't read books for free there. The cha bar was awesome, their sandwiches were yummy. Though they don't have a lot of options in food. They do have a lot of tea there, different kinds. The pizza was also really good. It was thin crust.

visited here number of times. the place is good for good with friends and even office colleagues. their presentation is good. but they have one bad point that you have a wait for your turn for 15 mins.

Located in the outer circle, CP, this is a great place to hang out with friends or loved ones, take a quick bite while in CP. Also, a nice place for book lovers'— the oxford book store is just adjacent to the cafe selling several genres of books- from fictional stories to kids' comics to history. Had samosa and tea (plain milk and Assam tea with sugar). The only downside was that there was no water in the washroom.

The ambiance is really nice and its a oxford book store... The basil pasta was lacking salt in it so i didnt like it much But the chiken tikka pizza was tasty , but portion size was small it had just 4 slices. The juice was refreshing.. especially the blackcurrant ice tea.

Budget friendly and nice ambience. Best for breakfast. Basil pasta sandwich and basil pesto pasta is just great. Although the alfredo pasta is not worth it. Ice teas are perfect.

It is located inside the Oxford bookstore with a cool and serene ambience. Great place to sit and enjoy with friends. I quite like the variety on their drinks menu and the flavors were soothing as well as everything was present in just the right amount. Usually a good place to hang out after exploring the book store and for me it became a place of sharing similar interests with fellow booklovers.

The place has very good ambience and setup with the book store right across the wall. But the good things end here, extremely rude staff with no help if someone wants to even charge their laptops or mobile phone. There were multiple charging points but none of them worked. It would have been good if they considered a customer's plight too.

The place is nice because it's right inside the Oxford store. So very good for bibliophiles. But apart from that, it's very crowded and finding a place to sit in the weekend is quite hard. Food was good. It's mostly affordable and worth the money. I personally won't recommend the Chicken Shawarma though. They have an extensive menu of tea though so tea lovers can definitely check that. Service was good and staff quite helpful.

A good place but it could improve drastically. Some food items are good but some are really bad. The staff is courteous enough and the service is good but the atmosphere is not good at all. It has too many tables in very less space and there is too much noise of people talking, sometimes you can't hear the person sitting right in front of youproperly. The drinks are good and the price is reasonable.
