We went looking for an authentic Konkani/ Mangalorean cuisine and we were certainly not disappointed. Kudos to the kitchen team at Sana-di-ge who dishes our an awesome fare... The chicken Sukka, Fish Tawa Fry and the Mangalorean Mutton were lip-smackingly good... Was nice to interact with Executive Chef Sukesh at the end of our meal. Service provided by Shubham was very prompt and courteous. Overall a very satisfactory experience. We are definitely returning and we recommend this place to anyone keen on our delicious coastal cuisine. 5*

The new menu is so good. Detectable flavours of kokan and Mangalore. The variety is plenty for both vegetarian and a sea food lover. A little on the higher end with the prices but worth the hype and diplomacy in and around Malcha Marg. Highly recommend! I have visited quite often with many work friends and clients too!

Had visited Sana~di~ge for lunch and we tried Veruval for starters - which was a little spicy for our taste but you can definitely ask them to alter it according to your palate as the staff is quite prompt and responsive. We then tried the Gola Kadi for lunch with Appam, which was also very tasty. Had very elaborative tastes of garlic and onion and the chana pakodas in the kadhi were a great fit. For drinks we got the traditional coconut water and mango shikanji- both were quite refreshing. With no plans to go to a fine dine place we sure had a beautiful lunch at this restaurant. Highly recommended!

Fine dining cannot assault the palate with overwhelming spice, salt and chili 🌶 levels, which this place did. The lobster, rawa prawn fry and elaneer payasam were great, the egg appam needed a better egg, and the red snapper smelt too fishy. The crab soup was super, but the crab curry was too salty. The calamari set my mouth on fire, but the helpful staff did bring some yoghurt to lessen the pain. The condiments in the tea glasses were underwhelming. And no, sigri smoke curling on to the terrace is not nice.

Their Recipes and Food are just super, once you go there you will keep on repeating. That “feel so good” taste, that we probe the world for but find only in our mothers’ delectable recipes; that exact flavour, aroma and care is what Sanadige serves to you. Featuring a menu from the West coast of India, each meticulously assembled, utilising authentic recipes from the kitchen of Mrs Asha Shetty, One of the finest places in Delhi for amazingly delicious coastal food. The restaurant serves the very best of the coastal flavours from around the country. They serve an array of fresh seafood, such as Maanji (Pomfret), Yetti (Prawns), Jenji (Crab), Marvi Sukka (Clams), Bondas (Squids), Anjal (Seer Fish) and Kane (Lady Fish). Tips - Book a table through Eazydiner for a confirmed table plus restaurants discount you may also use App to pay via Payeazy and gets an additional 25% through its credit card affiliates. Enjoy you will just love this place.

What amazing food! Very authentic Goan and Malabari good experience. Prices are a little steep but clever people will use dineout. Take the outside seating. Tried the prawn rava fry with a Goan fish curry. Were spot on with the taste. Don't miss the Malabari paranthas!

Costal / Konkan food in your mind ….. along with fine dining… “this is it “. Wonderful ambiance/ polite and well behaved staff with apt presentation of food. Will recommend if you are fan of seafood and ready to shell extra bucks ( as food portions are very small 🥲) You may feel that you are not able to interpret the menu ….. so feel free to ask the waiter.

This review comes after multiple visits, and the food, beverages, and service have consistently been exceptional. This place is truly a haven for those craving authentic South Indian cuisine beyond dosa, uttam, and idli. With a wide variety covering all South Indian states in vegetarian, chicken, lamb, fish, and seafood options, it is highly recommended.

Great Variety & Selection. The length of the menu initially made us a little wary and confused, but the staff kindly explained and guided us through the dishes, giving precious advice. More so, they provided excellent service through the whole dinner, anticipating our needs and proposing improvements and solutions without the need to even ask. Truly the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. Absolutely Recommended!

One of the best places in Delhi for coastal food. They have a wide variety of food options. Alcohol is also available. If you can handle spicy food and you like coastal cuisine, definitely give this place a visit.

Such a pathetic restaurant, with atrocious service. We walked in and were told we will have a table in 5 minutes. Made us wait for half hour without slightest apology or regard for our wasted time. Instead gave tables to 2 other groups who walked in after us (they had no prior booking or were 2-3 hours late for their booking). There was no floor manager and the person (Mr Dhananjay) managing didn't manage the stuff well and wasn't managing the front desk were people were made to wait. Just wasting people's time without basic courtesy. We could have just gone somewhere else if we were told the truth.

We went on a Thursday. The ambience is beautiful. Its a fine dine and the dishes actually were delicious. The staff is very courteous and we really enjoyed the hospitality. The banana leaf fish (we selected surmai fish) was so very tasty. I recommend it as a must try. Strongly recommended for sea food lovers. Its not expensive considering it to be a fine dine.

Sana-di-ge offers a diverse menu which showcases regional and, local dishes from south India – some of which they offer in platters, maybe as tasting menu – and the resulting dishes are balanced, refined and full of flavour.

What can I say ... amazing food. Ghee roast is 10/10. Obviously the seafood is a necessity to try but the chicken was very good too. Their cocktails were amazing as well. The Coorg martini was surprisingly excellent, as a coffee lover.

Cool restaurant with good music roof top lovers. This is mainly a sea food restaurant.... So if you really like all sea food dishes with some cool live music performances , roof top or sitting in door peacefully.... Then this cafe is for you my friend. Go on a date or be with your friends and enjoy the music and food. A good parking facility is also available there.

The restaurant lives upto its rating. They serve authentic south indian food. We went there with our 6 months old in a stroller and the staff was very courteous and friendly to accommodate all our special needs. We ordered paneer varuval, mushroom curry , malabar paratha and manglorean mutton curry- all of it was fresh and tasty. There is ample parking space and obviously the Chanakyapuri area vibes offer a serene experience amidst the heart of Delhi Really liked the traditional serving plates along with banana leaf

The ambience and the courteous and helpful staff deserve a 5 star rating. It's the food with which I have an issue. I have read the other reviews but somehow my experience was less than fulfilling. It was great in bits and pieces (coconut payasam and mutton) but not so great in others. Some dishes had little taste while others had just chilly and no other flavour. Even the malabar parotha was just about ok. I have lived in Chennai and Kerala and dined at friends' places there. So I have some thing to compare the food there with. Having said that, just go there for the ambience, the mutton, the payasam and generally having a relaxed time. The place exudes a certain combination of finesse and a relaxed feel.

An Excellent meal with good service! The crab and avial were amazing! The aapams were a little disappointing though, dakshin does a better job of those. The desserts were too sweet and very average. The wait staff is fairly attentive. Although some staff were not masked and this is something that the diners shouldn't have to tell or write about in this day and age. Other than this, ordered the raw mango curry, neer dosa, mutton sukkha and Malabar parantha- all delicious. An enjoyable meal overall!

very very very happy with this place - the food, ambience, staff, everything was on point! I made a call reservation which was confirmed by Pooja who was extremely polite and warm. there was ample parking near the restaurant, and upon reaching, we were greeted very warmly. we were served by Shubham and Kamal, both being very patient with explaining the menu and serving us the dishes based on our preferences, even adjusting the spice content to our liking. will recommend all friends and family to go here. just cant get enough of it!

I have always missed kori roti in delhi and each time I went back home to Bombay I got to satiate my manglorean taste buds. But now I’m a happy manglorean in delhi because I not just get kori roti but also all the veg dishes like basale and padengi batate which are so common in manglorean homes but when you are away from home even these dishes become delicacy. So grateful 🙏🏻

The restaurant is an absolute jewel. I dined there for dinner with a friend one evening and returned a few days later for lunch with a different friend. Both friends were utterly captivated by the quality of food and the service, as was I. The restaurant ranks among the very best places. I have ever dined in New Delhi.

Had a vegetarian lunch at Sanadige today. Ordered mushroom Kali mirch, Paneer ghee roast, curd rice, drumstick soup from the south Indian and stuffed kulcha, dal makhani and Navratna thali from the north Indian fare. Shared feedback on navratri thali along with other dishes with the management. Didn't try their seafood due to ongoing navratris which is their speciality so can't comment on that.

An “absolutely need to try” Coastal Seafood restaurant owned by Mangalorean’s themselves summing up the heart and soul of Coastal food is Sana-di-ge located in the upscale market of Chanakyapuri. Sana-di-ge means a brass lit lamp kept on auspicious occasions in South India. The food served here is fresh, full of aromas and delightfully simple serving the regional delicacy of Coastal region of India. The innovative delicacies stick to the “time-honoured” specialties with ofcourse limited space in your stomach requires multiple visits. Savor the best food and travel the Coastal culture with all the luxury vibes here. Spread over at three floors, this 7 years old restaurant pairs elegant sitting inside with a relaxing courtyard at first floor catering to approx 95 people at a time. The kitchen here is run by people all from Mangalore head by Chef Sukesh Kanchan who satiated our craving for coastal sea food. Obviously cant write about all the menu but each and every dish we tasted was soul satisfying and was good to the last byte. All the masalas here sourced from Mangalore itself and most of the seafood from Mumbai. The array of dishes in the menu are the original recipes that are being followed without making a lot of changes or adjustments. Overall a must visit place.

Just love the authentic mangalorean, Goan and south style delicious food here. We relished the chicken ghee roast, Kerala prawn curry, nuggekai soup was delicious. The ambience gives a very relaxed vibe and service staff is very courteous. They have authentic flavors and this is one of the best seafood restaurants in Delhi. Do try their sasyahari or Jenji thali . In main course loved the Malabar stew, Bhareli macchi which was delicious. A must visit place for sea food lovers and real foodies who love good food. Desserts try the Leander payasam .

This place doesn’t deserve even one star. Horrible food and staff with exorbitant rates. We paid 10k for small portions of food for 6 people, after which we all fell sick. We complained about the prawns being bitter and yet they did not even inform the chef. Same goes for the fish which tasted stale. The rest of the food was sub-par too. The food has been priced at the same rates as 7 stars but it is inedible. The billing is suspicious as they levy taxes on food and beverages (non-alcoholic and non-sweetened mineral water). We have been taxed on the same bill three times. Expecting a reply from the management regarding this immediately otherwise we might escalate the matter to higher authorities.

I tried 1. Chicken biryani - Biryani lovers will love it. The chicken was well cooked and just melted in your mouth. Rich in flavours. 2. Sasyahari Thali - It's veg thali. All dishes were delicious. I loved the mushroom and the paneer. 3. Neer Dosa - Good taste. Soft and delicious. 4. Thengina Kayi Anna - It's coconut rice. Must try. 5. Tulsi Paneer Tikka - You can actually enjoy the real tulsi flavor. Soft, delicious. 6. Yeti Kadipatta - Prawns deep fried. It's aromatic. Must try. 7. Sol Kadi - Served hot, in winters it's must. Tried cocktails aswell. The bar tender is a nice guy. The customized drink he served is fantastic. Overall it was a great experience. Delicious food. Reasonable price. Good ambience. Family friendly. The satffs were very nice. Special treat to every customer. Fast service. You don't have to wait for long. I'll visit this place again.

Staff is attentive. Housekeeping not so....there was no water in the washrooms. The food also has been made to taste too bland and sweet. The sharpness, tartness and freshness is missing as a result. The seafood dishes were good primarily because of their freshness, but the vegetarian thali was a big disappointment. The chefs need to be encouraged to go back to their roots to do justice to the original taste.

First things first: Sanadige means the traditional (usually brass) lamp that's lit in South Indian ceremonies before important events. Now for the restaurant. Hands down, the best Mangalorean and just generally south Indian food. There is no comparison, or I'm aware of one atleast. And the decor, whomsoever has done it, they have a beautiful taste for cutlery, colours and general ambience. You should definitely visit if you enjoy south Indian non vegetarian cuisine.

👍👍 Absolutely love their rice combos. Paneer rice is my all time favourite. Great option for dinner, if you work nearby. If you're looking for a place for quick bites, then you need to visit this place.
