Good hangout , but do not expect too much. The operation hours are 9.30 am to 4 pm. They are closed on Fridays . You can see loads of animals but make sure you visit on a pleasant day so animals will be out else on a hot day you might be disappointed. No eatables are allowed , but you will get drinks and icecreams at vending stations inside. There are public convenience after every km. The zoo is clean but can be in a much better condition. They can actually increase the ticket amount a bit . Lots of eating joints outside the zoo and pretty pocket friendly.

You can go for BOT @ 70 rs. for one person. You can watch various species of birds, animals, reptiles etc... Beautiful place to visit with family. Claean place and food stalls also provide hygienic food. Better to bring 2 redbulls with you as the place is too large and you may feel tired. Auto takes rs 50 per person from Pragati maidan metro station. It takes around 30 minutes from Pragati maidan metro station to zoo. There is entry fee for visit. Nice place for children and family too, having wide variety of animals and birds too,it consists tiger,deer,elephants and many more too,having losts of free space.

The tickets at the zoo are to be bought online through its website, you can also book for one day in advance and can also book the ticket at the zoo itself by using the QR code available.

Zoo is nice, place is very clean but due to lack animal in this zoo you haven't see snake , food facilities available here , if you want to cover entire zoo you can spend 2 & 3 hour in this place , toilet is also available here , parking facility is also available here , in the Summer time take some bottle of water if you want to make trip here

Nice Place for outing, enjoyable for Kids and young ones. The place is full of different animals and BIRDS. It has large Green atmosphere , Even Rare Birds and animals can be seen here. Friday is weekly off.

I wish if I could give it 5 stars. The premise is clean, even though it's not even as big as Kanpur Zoo. The enclosures are nice and large. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and it is a great place to take kids. However, more animals can be added as this isn't a normal zoo, it is located in the capital of India - New Delhi.

This zoo is good for children But lack of animals. This is well maintained.
