I think its one of the best zoo in Haryana. The Tilyar Lake is only 42 km from Delhi border and Tilyar Zoo at Rohtak is well maintained (entry fee: INR10 - adults, INR5 - kids)[2] and worth visiting specially for families.[3] Fishing is permissible at Tilyar Lake after paying INR200 fishing fee.[4] The lake lies in a 132-acre (0.53 km2) area and forms an integral part of the tourist setup, making it one of the greenest stretches in the adjoining area. The spacious lawns and the scenery on view make this resort a great place to relax, and people visit from as far away as Mumbai. It is also an excellent spot for watching a variety of birds that flock on the little island located in the middle of the lake. Entry to Tilyar lake is free. The lake complex also houses Rohtak Zoo.

It is also an excellent spot for watching a variety of birds that flock on the little island located in the middle of the lake.

Tilyar lake is located on Delhi Rohtak highway. It's a nice place to hang out with your family and loved ones. Especially during the monsoon this place is so green. Boating is available with different seating capacity boats. also a mini toys train for kids. Tilyar zoo is also located near tilyar lake. A big parking is available outside the lake and also many shops and stalls for buying foods and other things. Go for it if you're near Rohtak.

Went there in june'2021. Lovely place, u can reach following the google map, a beautiful massive lake with lots of Monkeys presence who don't really say anything to u unless u bother them purposely. Didn't find evident road sign to reach , no name plate sort of thing on the highway or main road.. its right next to a petrol pump.. outside food isn't allowed neither advisable due to monkeys.. but there are a couple of locals shops for refreshments within the lake complex. There is also a hotel inside with restaurant and bar, also a zoo for taking ur kids.. we visited just the lake and would recommend it for a nice getaway from delhi..

Beautiful lake, big in size, well maintained, boating facility a little bit costly 200rs per 30 minutes, picture perfect place, lot of rides available for kids, big garden outside for playing, lot of other activities. Lot of monkeys but don't get scared, ss they are already scared. Overall a good family picnic place to go on. Would recommend to go there.

Hi guys. I want to share my views about Tilyar Lake. Tiluar Lake in Rohtak is awesome place where you can visit. Friends our life is very busy. Its very difficult to give one hour to our health. In offices there are pressure of work, after office, I went to Sukhana Lake with my friends. You cann’’t believe, I forget my stress. The atmosphere of lake was awesome and cool. I saw people which were doing different types of excercise. I did boating there and felt like I am in heaven. I felt relaxed and comfortable there. I forgot all my tensions there, visit this lake once, If you have time after busy schedule. Tilyar lake is centre of attraction in Rohtak.it is very beautifull place to visit.Tilyar lake covers Good Green area.Boating facility is also available there. In summer, people come there in the evening and they do boating.it gives very pleasent feeling.there are so many guards for security purpose.so,this place is very safe.this place ia very peacefull. I enjoyed a lot there.and the veiws of that place is also very attractive. Overall. It is a great place to visit in Rohtak. The Tilyar lake Rohtak us a best lake for the fresh feeling. Tilyar Lake is a tourist destination along with rohtak mini zoo situated on main Rohtak Delhi Road. Locally this place is known as 'INDIRA JHEEL'. It just near to 'BABA MASTNATH MATH' Asthal Bohar under District Administration.

Liked the water body. Had a ok experience in boat ride. Quality of boats were bad. Saw some fantastic birds. Environment was really beautiful with cool winds.

Nice lake Very nice place to visit for all specially kids. Inside there is a zoo also. After 7:30pm there is water laser show in the lake. All is good but it seems government not take care about neat and cleaning in the lake. In Zoo we cannot enter after 4:30 pm. food is very Costly and unhygienic

Island cafe offer awesome food services and boat ride have also so much fun many rabbits , ducks are on cafe side the siting capacity inside cafe is less but outside is much but due to summer it is hard to sit outside . Whole staff is coperative boat ride have long path to ride but the both bridges are old and damaged. People used them after restrictions. It can be dangerous. Totaly good for a day you can eat pratha outside tilyar tapsya junction gave best pratha.
