A very decent and good place for personal and business meetings. Elan serves you good food and the ambience is awesome. You have variety of options of restaurant to sit as per your choice or just the bar for a wonderful experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Lodhi in New Delhi, and I have to say that it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and modern amenities that made my stay extremely comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and fruit baskets that were provided. The staff at The Lodhi were exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. Everyone I encountered during my stay was friendly, professional, and eager to make sure that I had everything I needed to enjoy my time in New Delhi. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel has several excellent restaurants, each serving delicious cuisine that showcases the best of Indian and international flavors. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, which offered stunning views of the city along with fantastic food and cocktails. Overall, I can't recommend The Lodhi enough. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting New Delhi. The combination of luxurious accommodations, exceptional service, and delicious food makes it a true standout among the city's many hotels.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at The Lodhi Hotel in New Delhi, and I must express my utmost disappointment with the treatment we received, particularly from the restaurant manager. Our experience was marred by insensitivity, insults towards my 3-year-old child, and blatant racism between Indian and foreign guests. Firstly, the restaurant manager displayed a shocking lack of empathy and consideration towards my child. Instead of accommodating our needs, he was dismissive and insensitive, making derogatory comments about my child's behavior. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also extremely hurtful. Furthermore, the restaurant manager's racist behavior towards guests of different nationalities was appalling. He openly showed favoritism towards foreign guests, while treating Indian guests with disrespect and disregard. Such discriminatory behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of this establishment. Adding to our disappointment, despite bringing these issues to the attention of the management, no action was taken to address our concerns. The hotel management showed a complete lack of accountability and failed to rectify the situation, compounding our frustration. Overall, our stay at The Lodhi Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The insensitivity and insults directed towards my child, coupled with the racist behavior exhibited by the restaurant manager, left us feeling disrespected and devalued. It is disheartening that the management failed to address these issues, further highlighting their lack of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider staying at The Lodhi Hotel, as our experience was nothing short of pathetic. It is imperative that the management take immediate action to rectify these grave concerns and provide a safe and inclusive environment for all guests.

The Lodhi is really not 5 star! The service and welcoming is quite chaotic and poor (staff have no real service skills and slow) Breakfast is good and the chef is very kind. The original architecture and design of the building is super nice but the additional decor doesn’t sit well and looks quite cheap. Our room was located next to staff apartments- there shoes etc outside the rooms. Rooms also start to feel a bit dated and grubby - the carpets don’t looks clean and shower a bit moldy. All in all it was ok, not a horrible experience but definitely not worth the money & not comparable to other better ‘5 star options’

The saddest experience of my life. I wanted to do something nice for my husband after flying 9 thousand miles after not seeing my husband after year. I booked this hotel to celebrate our marriage. And after safely getting him out of Afghanistan. With much disparity. I wanted to treat him to something nice he never experienced before. And due to him not having the proper paperwork stamp for his refugee status papers. they would not let him come with. So I had to cancel the whole weekend stay. So sad.. because now i wont be able to see him for a very long time.. to make these memories again. Such a great disappointment.

Had dinner at Indian Accent. It is one of the premium dining places in Delhi. The ambience, light music, lighting and service would not disappoint. Some things we tried were great, but some OK. For the high prices they charge one would expect to be delighted, which didn't happen. But still a good dining option. May be if we had tried something else, we may have had a different experience.

We had a very short stay but spectacular. We enjoyed the spa a great deal. The rooms were outstanding. The private pool was just a big plus! Found the coffee service hard to understand and not terribly tasty but every other item was right on point

Loved the burnt garlic rice, ma pao tofu ( quite spicy) and Chinese greens. Thin crust Pizza was rather nice too and apparently the lamb was delicious. ( I am vegetarian but friends loved it. )

It is one of my favourite restaurants in Delhi, I visited their 24x7 restaurant by the name Elan. The food menu is full digital which can be accessed by a QR code and they have a very attractive menu which does make you want to order everything on it. The food is fresh and very well cooked with appropriate amount of spices and condiments. The best part is the food temperature at which it is served is just very appropriate. I will suggest you to go and try out their food.

Very nice hotel.. very good food.. amazing rooms.. its just an isolated (hopefully)incident i wud like to share.. We kept getting repeated calls since 10 in the morning for checkout.. despite us telling the lady from the front desk that we have a late checkout.. she insisted we checkout early.. her exact words were" you have an hour to checkout that should be sufficient time to get ready" then when i called back and told another guy who answered that i was given a late checkout and had accordingly invited around 12-15 guests at the hotel's restaurant at 2 pm.. his reaction was "sir i cant help it you have to checkout we need the room.. you can wait for your guests in the lobby. It wasnt me who gave a late checkout" While setting the bill when i raised this concern at the reception the front desk manager did come and he was really apologetic about it and told me that they did have a checkin in the suite we were in and it was the only one in that category but the protocol was to offer us another room.. and the people calling were traines.. Again i repeat everything else was perfect but this one incident really put a dent on the entire experience.. one of the most expensive hotels in delhi and we were staying in a one of a kind suite.. after spending that kind of money to have 2 trainees spoil the entire experience was a big let down..

The executive room I stayed made me feel at home since it was beautifully furnished and well maintained private pool inside the room. The ambience of the entire hotel made me extend my stay in the hotel. The courtesy extended by the entire staff and lobby manager (Beethika)was commendable. The food was awesome and I have decided to stay in the same hotel when ever I plan to visit Delhi. My over all rating is 5 out of 5.

The multi cuisine restaurant ELAN is a fine dine place with a lot of brilliant options. Amongst Italian , Japanese , Chinese , Continue… I felt Indian cuisine stood out the best. Selection of wines and drinks is decent. I guess more effort needs to be put in cocktails. Service is prompt , ambience is classy and overall hospitality it appreciable.

We had an amazing stay at the Lodhi - the room was enormous, and it felt ridiculously luxurious to have a private plunge pool. The towels are absolutely huge. The staff at the Lodhi were unfailingly helpful and polite. If they were shocked that we tended to get out and around Delhi via a succession of battered Ubers, rather than the enormous black BMWs favoured by the other guests, they didn't let on. They were always happy to accommodate unusual requests - we left baggage with them before staying, as we didn't want to take all of our luggage around Agra and Jaipur. They were also happy to help me activate my Indian SIM, and get cash out for us after my card didn't work at an ATM. I would like to particularly highlight Amit Anand, who took the lead on each of these occasions. We would love to stay at the Lodhi again.

Now this is called affordable luxury! since rooms are super clean and highly luxurious for the price. Bathrooms were maintained clean and dry with a pleasant odor all around. Bath towels, bed sheets, pillow cover etc were all kept tidy. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Assistances were quick and satisfying. Overall, we’d highly recommend and definitely visit again soon!

Beautiful albeit dated rooms. Gorgeous gym and general facilities. Staff are friendly and housekeeping is very attentive. If all goes well, you’re sure to have a great visit, though any questions or complications are sometimes met with blank stares. Avoid on premise restaurants and bars outside of breakfast hour.

We had an awesome stay at the Lodhi. Check in and check out were seamless. The staff were all so friendly and professional. A special shoutout to the Elan staff, who made our stay so special. They brought out all these extras for us, pastries, fruit, and even miniature versions of Indian dishes on their menu just because we wanted to try them but were too full to order a full plate. They really made an effort to share their culinary culture. Our suite was just as pictured, the balcony and private pool were amazing. The toiletries were top notch. The gym was so well stocked, like a commercial gym with lots of weight and functional equipment. We had an great stay and would stay here next time we are in Delhi! 10/10 for everything!

Me and my friends stayed there for one night from 25th September check in and 26th check out. We had 4 rooms including one luxury premier plunge pool room. The services are very bad. From the start of the day till the check out we faced so many problems. Basic amenities like water and towel was not provided. We asked for medicine it wasn't provided. After calling them 4-5 times still we didn't receive. We ordered bucket of ice it came after 2 hrs of ordering and that too after calling them atleast 4 times, we ordered for wine glasses that also came after 2 hrs and that too different style of glasses. No symmetry . And the worst was there were 4 pieces of glass in the pool. Thank God no one got hurt though. But this cannot be expected from a 7 star property. The basic amenities at re provided by 1* property also but they could not provide. The worst experience ever. Why did I pay so much for the property,I don't know. Never expected this from such a brand. When we complained to the manager Mr. Faheem he said the operational manager is not there right now so by 26th evening he will get back to you but it's 27th morning but I haven't received any call yet.

We had a nice stay at The Lodhi, but would not be rushing to go back. Starting with the good + the chef and the wait staff at Elan are very attentive and kind. When we had questions about gluten free they were knowledgeable and accommodating. + the spa: we had fantastic 90 minute massages at the spa. It was a great way to destress post flight + driver: we had the hotel organize our pickup and tours around Delhi. Our driver Rotash was very kind and navigated us through the streets with ease. Then onto the less great: -pushy unhelpful staff: there were multiple occasions where staff were asking for tips to the point where it was very off putting. This was especially the case when we would ask questions and blank stares came back… -this was likely a rookie mistake but dispute being in contact with the hotel numerous times about booking tours, spa, etc, we were not told we would also need to pre book Indian Accent way in advance. If you are going, do not rely on staying at the hotel to get a reservation. -maintenance: does not feel like simple things are being done. Our room was very cold despite the heat being turned up and the shower barely drained. Overall it was a nice stay but would not say it’s a 5 star hotel.

Didn't stay at the hotel but stopped by for a couple drinks and lunch. It's a bit of a walk to enter the hotel from the main gates via the street. On the walk into the hotel, it looks as if you're passing through an outdated apartment complex. The interior of the hotel and lobby area are nicely decorated with local artwork and a comfortable ambiance to have conversations with friends. There is a bar and restaurant on the main level directly after entering the lobby. The service at the restaurant is appropriate as per a 5 star hotel, however, the prices and quality of the food and beverage severely lack justification for what is presented. My two drinks and an appetizer came out go close to 5000 inr. The prices are clearly marked on the menu, which is fine, however the establishment charges the nominal 18% GST tax, and then on top of that a vengeful 25% VAT - which should be criminal.

The ambiance is okay-ish. A bit poor, actually, because with people chatting, the place can get properly loud (echoes). So, not an ideal place for a peaceful meal. The starters were average. Ordered two of them, both platters (veg and non-veg). Veg were fine but non-veg were extremely salt heavy. The main course was good. Ordered a variety of things, including a pepperoni pizza, daal makhni and a chef-special mutton. Desserts were too good. Ate a portion of badam halwa, ice cream and rass malaai. Overall, it was an average experience.

We chose to stay at The Lodhi to celebrate a special occasion. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, were extremely courteous, accommodating and attentive. The room and amenities are quite luxurious, architecture and artwork is stunning. Would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

  • 5/5 Kanwar A. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms with pool are to die for. The gym is world class. Service is courteous, food is average, views of the city from room are something out of a delhi classic fairy tale. This is the best stay experience guaranteed. I’ve lived in several five stars in delhi and Mumbai but this one somehow has its own prowess. As a family hotel, I suggest don’t look further. The sleep quality is another reason I recommend this. The linen and bed will keep you and your family comfortable for hours with complete blocking of day light. Big plus. Keep it up guys. Well maintained too. Good housekeeping staff. They have two kind of wings, one luxury and the other more private.

The Lodhi is the only hotel in Delhi with a personal plunge pool. Which is why we choose it for a birthday staycation. Check in was a breeze with Roshmi (front desk). She also helped with setting us up with a cake & got house keeping to get candles setup around the pool. Not to forget a proper introduction to our room & the facilities. The hotel pool was also a treat, with Amit helping us out with everything (glad he was there). The rooms are huge (personal balcony, pool, bathtub, rain shower and a seperate dressing space), that is a lot of real estate! Dinner was at Indian accent (independent entity altogether, not part of the hotel, pre-booked reservation for dinner is required). It was an experience in itself. Experience being the key word. Though we did get freaked out by a lizard late at night (which left a scar on whole experience). In the morning, we also found out that breakfast was ala carte ( covid!!, As I was looking forward to a nicely laid spread). All in all, we would definitely recommend The Lodhi for its USP's. Just get house keeping to do a quick pest control!

After dining at the hotel restaurant, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The restaurant had a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel welcomed. The menu had a good variety of dishes to choose from, including some local specialties that I had not tried before. The food itself was delicious and well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful presentation. I also appreciated the reasonable prices, considering the high quality of the food and service. Overall, I would definitely recommend

Kind of cafeteria in Basement appears to be in violation of permissible building byelaws. Moreover, in case of fire the cafeteria running in basement can be another UPHAR cinema episode. If Cafeteria is permissible in basement for LODI hotel then why it is not permitted elsewhere. Why this discrimination?

The service was excellent. Food quality is to good. Rooms are neatly cleaned. Comfortable bed. Everything was just amazing. However, other than that, the staffs are very helpful and specially the breakfast was so great to eat. 😋The property is of course damn good and dinner at Indian accent was cherry on the top, specially if you went there for the first time. Amenities and food, are expensive still it make over with their beautiful breakfast buffet.😊

Absolutely horrible experience! The room had flies all over, the pool was dirty, an absolute waste of money. The staff is incompetent. A special mention to Mr Abhishek at the front desk for being the most inhospitable person I’ve come across. I would recommend you to spend money at a property that actually values it instead of spending it at The Lodhi. All the best to anyone going to waste their money by booking this property. It’s all good in pictures, but the property has degraded to the ultimate heights

Horrible Horrible service! My vacation has been spoiled completely! I was happy to book a plunge pool room and looking forward to a good time. But it all got spoilt because of the horrible attitude of the staff. They are hurling abuses in the open. They allowed two guests in our room. We are checking out, not even staying for a night!! Very very disappointed.

The experimental was magical. It was my first stay there. Whenever we Went out they came and cleaned the room and put in fresh water bottles. Though the room service could've been better. They ignored the request once (it was around 2 am so it ruined the experience for a bit) and room service was a bit slow too. Also 2 of the speakers in our suite weren't working.

The hotel is beautiful, staff is very kind and they try to accommodate you at their best. Yet, we ate dinner there and we asked for gluten free dishes, unfortunately we had a very bad experience. From what we could conclude, probably the cooking utensils were not separated and as a result we got cross-contaminated with gluten.

Terrible service although the property is great. Booked for a day to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday here. Only good thing was the splash pool I guess. Every time I ordered room service, it was absolute harassment. Requested a table at the restaurant below for lunch, only to be told it was not available after a long wait. We spent around 60k in a day (total on room, food and beverages), and I regret spending it here where we were treated absolutely horribly. Will never recommend to anyone.

Terrible service and hospitality The outdoor area wasn't clean with feet marks right outside the pool. After complaining, Somebody was sent with only a disinfectant. Upon repeated requests nobody came to clean it. It was the dirtiest creepiest experience ever. Room service was terrible. A few things never arrived even after multiple calls. We mentioned the same to Seema while checking out the next day. And her reaction was as if she was expects terrible service from the staff. We were simple told the hotel is functioning at capacity and a helpless sorry.

The Lodhi hotel is most famous for its past reputation and location. Politicians and dignatories visit there for meetings because of its location and exclusivity. Otherwise the hotel is quite ordinary five star hotel with ordinary furniture and furnishings. Servce is good but food is also just ordinary five star stuff. Rooms have small private pool and that's one extraordinary part of it. Overall the name is bigger than what the reality is.

What a fantastic experience. Easily one of the best hotels in India (at least). We stayed at The Lodhi Room with Pool - and what a stay it was. The Butler service is top notch, the on-table Buffet Breakfast at Elan is perfect in every way, the food options at the hotel are great too. Obviously all of this comes at a price, which is worth it for special occasions at the very least.

Beautiful rooms. Stunning architecture but be very careful of the walls at the entrance. They protrude out a lot and scratched my expensive Omega watch. Food is bland. Service is good.

Sleek and modern, this city resort offers sunlit standard rooms, plus garden terrace rooms with panoramas over the Lutyens’ Delhi neighbourhood (named after architect Sir Edwin Lutyens who was a key player in the design of New Delhi). You can also opt for a veranda pool suite with a private plunge pool, or a massive two-level Sultan Suite. Cafes, bakeries and bars, plus a variety of restaurants serving continental and Indian fare, mean you won’t go hungry. Hit the squash or tennis courts to burn off those big meals, or go for a hot stone or deep tissue massage at the spa.
