Poor service specially reception. I informed them 15 mins earlier during my check out and requested for luggage help but no one came to help us. We did our self and when I asked them at reception no one ready to take responsibility and taking it easy way. No hospitality at all. Paying 5000 inr for one night is really waste of money. So no recommendation at all.

We have booked our stay with hotel shanti palace with pre paid airport pickup. I called the hotel regarding our airport pickup to confirm but the staff (Uma Shankar) was very rude and unprofessional. We were calling from overseas and our international call charges were sky rocketing. Not sure if we have booked the right hotel. More reviews to come after our stay is completed.

Rooms are good. The location is also good. Food is not good. There is too much alcohol smell in their restaurant. The morning buffet is also the worst. They don't have a choice in food items. They need to improve the food varieties and quality.

I stayed at Hotel Shanti Palace in New Delhi January . Overall, it was an okay experience. However, I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast options. There weren't many choices, and the quality wasn't great. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for my trip, and the price was reasonable. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option with a decent stay, this might work for you. But don't expect too much from the breakfast.

I would like to highlight few things about Shanti hotel - That is Food n Cab Services from hotel. First is Overpriced Food, which was not a part of room service menu. We had ordered food from hotel Shanti only because they have mentioned in Bold letters on their board & in rooms also that 'Outside food is not allowed in hotel'. We had ordered 4 boiled eggs from room service. Hotel has charged 380 rs for just 4 white eggs, which is really really overpriced. Even that item was not mentioned in their room service menu. Here, i would like to ask from hotel staff that from which farm they bought the eggs. (Market price of normal eggs are 8 Rs n brown organic eggs 15-25 Rs only). Then why your hotel had charged 380 Rs for 4 white eggs? Even your hotel is not in a 4/5 *Star category. That Egg was not a Golden one Dear. NOW coming up to TOMATO SOUP, i had strictly conveyed to staff that don't use butter n cream in a soup. But when an order came, we were really disappointed from soup also, because there was a thick layer of oil or may be margarine butter on the top of TOMATO soup bowl, which we don't liked. Secondly, Cab Services From Shanti hotel, IGI T3 is just 4 kms away. N for cab services, Shanti hotel had charged 400 rs for a Desire cab. After making a payment for cab, we realised that Uber/Ola is charging only Rs 191. But unfortunately we had paid to manager at reception, because we were thinking its a complimentary service n we had a morning flight. It is Really 'A Painful Experience' with Shanti hotel, Mahipalpur - Delhi. For Visitors, in my notion, do avoid to book these kind of hotels, where they charge unnecessary amount from guests. Specially on food which is not mention in their room service menu.

I Strongly advise to all, pls think before going to this place . They will cheat you easily. Few days back we had booked no.of rooms along with food. Initially they said 500 Rs. per plate. We agreed that without proof. When final bill comes, he changed as 1000 rs. Per plate. We argued but they were not ready to listen our voice. Literally we lost 80k. Hence I’m requesting you all please take confirmation on paper before you proceeding any activity there.

Poor Washroom conditions & disappointing staff... not at all clean. One of our room had huge leakage in washroom but manager or staff didn't bother. I had to call them three times but of no use... it was late in night so we just slept... early morning I had to create a issue wherein manager gave us another room for washroom use that too after two calls. Another weird policy is that every day you need to get your keys validated at the front desk. This is just a nuisance. Hotel needs to deep-clean their washrooms .... Clean surface doesn't mean its clean.

Receptionist was in a bad mood and showing temper while attending to customer. Room had strong cigarette smell. Faulty hand shower. Very small and cramped room and bathroom. Restaurant had a funny unpleasant odour. We requested for dairy free food but yet they added paneer in the dishes. No effort to apologise or make new order without dairy.

I have been staying at this place for the last 10 years whenever I have a layover at Delhi airport. Rooms are neat and well furnished, food is good , location is good and easy to get uber, ola booking . Buffet breakfast is decent . Staff are polite. Restaurant food is a bit expensive but there is good variety in walking distance nearby.

Recently I came to Delhi and stayed here. I could have stayed anywhere but I chose this place because it was well under my budget. Honestly I didn't face any issue. The food and drinks were amazing. Thanks for the good experience.

The hotel is good to stay for a day or night, for short time. The only thing i miss here is the balcony that other hotels must have. Very near from New Delhi airport, means front of the airport. The room was well maintained and clean the best thing I liked is that they have provided some additional things as below, Coffee/tea maker. Safe for your valuables. Laundry paid service. You can order food along with drinks. Hair dryer in bathroom. Hot water for 24 Hr.

A good hôtel near the airport to spend a night before flight. Service is too slow but doesn't matter for a short stay. The front office staff is efficient.

This hotel use to be a good hotel but now the staff is in some parallel universe. They are rude, arrogant and shows that they are running some sought of 5 star hotel but they don't even know what hospitality is all about. One of the worst hotel in Mahipalpur.

It was trial and error choice I had work very near by got into this place through a portal. Fairly equipped rooms, food served was tasty, the kitchen open quite late into night. You have option to chose rooms with B/F or without B/F. Stayed here for 4 nights I occupied room in 3rd floor wifi signals is quite strong, both my dongles Jio & airtel dongles worked in 4G. Because of my schedules I could not take pictures

Hotel boys are good they are nice, gentle and helpful. But the managers are worst. They don't know how to talk with guest on phone. They have some kind of weird attitude as if it's Taj! Food is over expensive and taste is also not that great. There are other good hotels in same row with similar or less pricing. I will suggest you not to go this place of you're getting other.

Hotel Ambiance was good as per budget, but it lack facilities like internet, breakfast on time(7.30am it was getting ready)

  • 1/5 Adrija B. 2 years ago on Google
Where to start with?! The rooms are really small as compared to other hotels in that area. Two people cannot move around at same time. Wifi and mobile network is terrible. It's so terrible that you will feel like you have been isolated from the entire world outside. Food is expensive. The complementary breakfast is for namesake. It's better to go out and eat elsewhere.

Overall stay was good. But since I was traveling for work and i was told by the reception that morning breakfast would be ready by 7am and I came to restaurant at 7:30am, to my surprise there was hardly anything served. Only idli and sambar was kept that too idlis were cold and rock hard. The attendant was kind enough to serve me hot omelets. Overall an average experience. Would not recommend This place for business travellers as no timelines are being followed.

The room service is good ,people are nice ,the restaurant food is really expensive that is the only drawback I saw. Rooms without windows, it was okay for me because it was sound proof.place is safe for family . For the price they offer I am giving a 5*

Rooms are pretty small cramped up.. it is a bit suffocating. The cot occupies almost the 3/4 of the floor spce. Food is decent and good in quantity. A well run property none the less.

Zero hospitality. No one bothers to listen to you. People are rude...You have to keep telling them to let you sit at the restaurant when your meal is booked in the package. No one offers water at the reception and turn a blind eye when you ask for it! At the restaurant, we were told where the glasses were kept and where the water jug was kept and that we should help ourselves to it! Our request for food was met with a statement that 'we are late for dinner and we should make do with whatever is available' as it was 10 pm by the time we reached the hotel from Airport. Overall a horrible experience.

Avoid this hotel . Pathetic policy with stinky rooms and lobbies. Complimentary Breakfast is worst quality and almost nothing in menu. In Room dining too costly like 5 star. Nothing good about this place. Hotel doesn’t seem interested in suggestions or improvements.

Pathetic rooms , stinky corridor, chocked washrooms, no hot water facility, only one liter of water in a room anything else is chargeable at a rate higher than what one gets at the airport. Very dingy environment, unapologetic staff except the door boy. Pls pls avoid this hotel

Pathetic, unethical...Their senior management have no communication sense--Uday-DGM, Vineet-Sales head...We had to follow up for 10 days to confirm our reservations,....Super poor management.... Hotel is at good location that's the only plus point...Pathetic service.....Please opt for Sarovar Portico--atleast staff would have some sense to deal with customer!!

Overpriced and not worth the money. The staff is also rude. Be sure to get the checkout timings on record so that they aren't able to fool you into paying extra money. I had to pay Rs. 2900 extra since these people do not have their checkout timings on their online booking receipt nor do they bother to inform you in advance. Once the time is up, they call you up to tell you that you have overstayed and will have to pay extra half day charges and if you say that you weren't informed about this and refuse to pay the extra charges, then they verbally threaten you that they'll make you pay any which way they can. The restaurant food is also not worth it and is overpriced.
