Probably the best area in Delhi for hanging out and people watching. The Hauz Khas village holds the water reservoir for the second city of Delhi called "Siri". The water reservoir is still here and the area around it is a beautiful park.

This is a very small gumbad type of structure, built slightly higher on the ground. Since it is higher, it gives a very nice and clean look of mountain type of structure. You can go on the top of the gumbad and the view is really nice. It is not a place that you should visit definitely but you can give a try if you're near it for some other work.

Although most people associate Munda Gumbad only with the great view and the fact that the surrounding lawns are good for picnics, this is also an interesting historical structure. Built in the Khalji era, this is the tomb of un unidentified nobleman and was once topped by a dome - which has since collapsed, which is why the name ('munda' in this case means 'headless'). Interestingly, Munda Gumbad once marked the centre of the Hazu Khas water tank, which had been excavated by Alauddin Khalji. Just by that, you can guess how huge the tank initially was, and how much it's shrunk ever since.

Perhaps Alauddin Khalji used to have candle light dinner with his girlfriends during his reign. He built this in 1235 CE this small gumbad is located in the centre of Hauz Khas Lake that's why I am telling this. I am the student of Archeology and architecture of this gumbad is representing the same😅😅 Very awesome structure it is. Crowded place on weekends but good to visit on off days. ASI is taking care of it nowadays.

This is situated in Deer Park. This is just a normal domb like structure built in the past many years ago. You can climb on the top of gumbad and see the whole park from a height. In front of park there is plain covered with green grasses. You can seat here with your friends and family and enjoy the natural beauty. Bring your own food and water as there is no such arrangement inside the park. Beware of Monkeys as they can snatch your food. Nearby there can be seen lots of peacocks. You can take photos of peacocks. Also there is a rabbit park nearby which is really cute to see.

#nofilter Untouched night shots courtesy of the ole #s22ultra dream phone 🌃📸🫠🌌🔥 If I'm honest this phone's camera is better than just about any digital point and shoot camera I have used in the last decade... There it is! I said it....... Ya that's riiiiiiiiight.......... I went there 😂🤣😛 This abandoned tomb was shot at midnight in the middle of a massive park here in New Delhi, India.... In real life this place was almost completely dark. Ray Charles would have been right at home here 🤙 These pics were shot and then posted... Nothing more and nothing less.... Scouts honour 🫡 I love teeeechnology! What's your favorite daily driver camera? Any tips or tricks for night shots y'all?! 💡🥳💜
