Sundays are HEAVILY crowded, so make sure that you have ample time with you. Management of the temple crowds is absolutely horrible. Extremely rude personnel with no management skills whatsoever. The temple premises are not that clean, and there is no clarity regarding the entry points etc. The temple is beautiful, and the four stars are only for that. Has some beautiful amalgamation of Mughal styles.

Best time for visit temple is early morning or in evening around 8pm or in weekend. The mandir is just magnificent for all the devotes. Seek blessing from Kalka Mata but be informed that the temple will be packed with devotes that it might take some time for you to seek blessing. Note that the temple closes for bhog of kalka mata. So, before going check the timing. Most recommended

This temple is all about the beliefs of the people. Since it's very old people vist hire with full devotion. So you will usually find too much croud and long queues with will take hours for you to have a glimpse of Mataji. The temple is not so great but it's beautiful to see the actual idols of the goddess inside the main temple. There is no entry fee but you have to pay 5 rs for each pair of shoes you keep in showrack. All the parking and shops are closed for now and you are allowed to visit till the parikrama gallery around the main temple. Overall you can visit if you have faith in the goddess else there is not much to see. Management could have been better.

Visited today but could not reach Mandir darshan due to high volume of visitors. So instead of mandir darshan , visited the periphery and found that this mandir is surrounded by too many old buidlings . Shri Kalkaji Mandir is dedicated to Goddess Kali and this mandir invariably be the busiest hindu temple in Delhi. It is also one of the ancient temples from the days of Mahabharata. According to a Hindu, Kalika Devi was born at the site where the temple is situated. This mandir was rebuilt by Marathas. The temple complex, as it stands today, is constructed of brick masonry, finished with plaster and marble.

Absolutely elegant if you are a devote kinda person even not you will feel a great atmosphere which is a blessing of Kalka Maa.. People believe that Maa will bless and fulfill their wishes if you come with a pure heart.. History states it that Pandavas worshipped Maa kali with Krishna itself.. You will reach here from the Kalkaji Mandir Metro(violet line) as it is at a walking distance Better to reach early in weekends..

Taking one star back because I found the place very much unclean because of rain I guess, and lack of proper management there. Kalkaji Mandir is a true gem in the heart of South Delhi, and I am thrilled to leave a 5-star review on Google Maps for this divine place of worship. This temple is a testament to India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage. The architecture of Kalkaji Mandir is awe-inspiring, with its intricate designs and vibrant colors. It's a visual delight and a symbol of India's rich heritage. The temple premises are immaculately maintained, creating a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. It's especially breathtaking during festivals when it's adorned with lights, flowers, and vibrant decorations. Kalkaji Mandir offers more than just architectural beauty; it's a haven for spiritual solace. The peaceful ambiance and melodious chants create a serene atmosphere where one can meditate and seek blessings. The temple's staff and management are exceptionally hospitable, ensuring visitors are well-guided and informed. Crowd management is efficient, making it convenient to pay your respects. Moreover, Kalkaji Mandir is easily accessible with ample parking and nearby public transportation. The surrounding markets offer a glimpse into local culture and cuisine. In summary, Kalkaji Mandir is a spiritual and architectural marvel, providing a tranquil escape in the bustling city. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this sacred place and award it 5 stars on Google Maps for its beauty, spirituality, and overall experience.

Kalkaji Temple is a famous Hindu temple located in the heart of South Delhi. It is not possible to enter the temple without spending 5-6 hours, but Sunil Sunny JKM Pandit ji received me from the gate and arranged for me VIP darshan. This temple is very wonderful for all the devotees. Take blessings from Kalka Mata but keep in mind that the temple will be so full of devotees that it may take some time for you to take blessings. So, check the timings before going. Most Recommended This ancient temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and is one of the most visited temples in Delhi. Jai mata Di! Recently visited to this place and found that no vendors shops were there selling pooja samagri and other things. In the name of some "construction" or "re-development" they have closed all vendors shop which kills the place vibe. The believe in this place brings pilgrims from far away. Some shops inside were sealed. A free OPD is opened here on the name Temple trust. Basically the inside (where queue extends) looks like demolished old Archeological site. Not able to recall much about the difference between Today's temple condition and old Temple condition (15 years back), but all I can recall the place was much beutiful before than it's now. Mata rani should give some sadbudhi to people who are maintaining this place. Jai Mata di!🙏 Attaching some picture here

Dedicated to KalikaJi Goddess this is a temple where in has a swayumbhu (self existed) stone signifying Goddess herself! The entire neighborhood is called Kalkaji due to vicinity to this temple.Noawadays they have a rear entrance (to control crowd) which took us 2+ hour(weekend) .The temple otherwise is small and also has a first floor where you can do parikrama.Amazinf thing I found was this small bus which gives food for Rs5 and it is tastier.it stands outside few days. Also there are cluster of roadstands you can buy plastic toys/ shop fancy stuff! Jai Mata di !

This temple is situated in Nehru Place. Also called as manokamna (fulfilment) temple. The other name is seedha Peetha. The main observation is , when the temple Aarti goes on between (8 to 8 30), the people who stand in queue will see the flags on top of temple symmetrically moving and when it stops, the flag movement stops to pin drop. The temple has many doors , which they open subsequently. Best time to go it beyond 9 pm as there is no rush Also the coconut offering in the temple is sacred and surprisingly none of the coconut are discarded. They are all collected Don’t forget to visit bhairav ji ka temple Kalka Mata is avatar of parvathi, who took the roop to kill Asur and her upper lips were touching clouds and lower lips moutains,so that all the blood was taken by her without any spillage so that they are not born again. Mainly visited by females more than males. Also , next to the temple is lotus Buddha temple but it closes by 5 pm, so plan the visit accordingly if you need to cover both the places. Ahead of it is ISKCON temple, which closes at 9 pm. Just outside temple is fire place where one can offer coconut to fire which is considered to be sacred. Must visit temple located in Delhi. Good time is during winters

One of the famous religious place for hindus. Temple is of Kali maa, but there are many more deities. Location- it is located just at tge walking distance from Kalkaji Temple metro station. Point to remember- 1.Due to Covid they don't allow you to take prashad inside the temple, so don't take any prashad. 2. Don't visit on Saturday (very crowded). If you have time than must do Parikarma of the temple, for that you have to dedicated path for that, which is at the main gate of the temple.

If you live in Delhi and want to see Maa Kali, then this place will be very good for you. There is a lot of crowd during Navratrein & weekends and you can have good darshan of Kali devi after 4:00pm.Lotus temple also near the temple and there are a lot of foods & drinking items around the temple. The list of some foods & beverage are given below:- * Item Price (₹INR) 1.kachori 30-40/- 2.Mosami 20-50/- (Juice) 3.Chat 30-40/- (Vrat, without vrat) 4.Chole 30/- (Bhature) 5. Nan plate 40/- 6. Lassi 20-50/- 7. And many more items near the temple. The temple is situated in the southern part of New Delhi in kalkaji, India, a locality that has derived its name from the temple and is located opposite the Nehru Place business centre and close to the Okhla railway station, kalkaji Mandir metro station. Hindus believe that the image of the Goddess Kalka here is a self manifested one.The temple complex is constructed of brick masonry finished with plaster and marble and is surrounded by a pyramidal tower. The central chamber which is 12 sided in the plan 24 feet height, with a doorway in each side is paved with marble and contains 36 arched openings or exterior doorways. In the middle of this arcade opposite the eastern doorway are two red sandstone tigers sitting on a marble pedestal. Both the pedestal, as well as the marble railings, contain Nastaʿlīq inscriptions of recent origin. Between the tigers, there is a stone image of Kali Devi with her name engraved in Hindi language.

The values made it worth visiting. This you should not do 1. Don't buy prasad or phool, it will be wasted as due to Covid, it may contain Covid or spread Covid. So they restrict it to take inside temple 2. Don't visit temple on Sunday as it is too crowded on this day 3. Don't be in queue for long there are plenty of trick to visit inside the temple without being in long queue. 1st star - For its value. 2nd star - strict management. Demerit They don't allow to stay for even 10 second. They won't allow to take prasad.

Kalka Ji Mandir is dedicated to the Hindu goddess of Kali. Conveniently located in South Delhi, this temple is also known as Kalka Mandir, Kalka Devi Temple or Maa Shri Kalka Ji Mandir. While the present day temple bears notes of modern construction, there are legends that trace back the age of this temple to the Hindu mystical chronological age of Treta Yug (Hindi for Silver Age). Religious pundits also claim that the most ancient sections of Kalka Ji Mandir were built in 1764. Maa Shri Kalka Ji Mandir opens at 4 AM and closes at 11:30 PM on each day of the week. Entry to this Kali temple is free of charge for all. However, donation boxes are placed at certain locations inside the temple to facilitate the collection of funds from devotees.

Mandir is Mandir and wo bhi Maa Kali ka mandir. The mandir is a symbol of the place Kalka ji too. It's near to Nehru Place, Lotus Temple. Just few meters away from Kalkaji metro station. Timings are pretty good. All info available on its site. We visited around 4pm and the mandir has less crowd. Not many people thus darshan was great. Photography is prohibited in the temple premise or if the idol.

It was a wonderful experience visiting Shri Kalka ji Temple. The aura of Mata Shri Kalka Ji and her shakti (power) will enlighten your mind and You will get mesmerized with the positivity around the temple. If you're stressed / ill then after entering the temple premises, you'll feel slightly lighter in your weight (specially in the head). It was happening with me gradually. As I was stepping towards the main temple (where mata ji is actually sitting in a murti form to give darshan to the devotees). It was like when you're siting in you mother's lap, you feel protected and nothing and nobody can't scare you. She will fulfill all your wishes if you visit with a pure heart. You will feel urge to spend more time as its full of positivity and a real place to connect yourself with God. Kalka ji is our Kuldevi. So whenever we've to visit Mata Shri Vaishno Devi Temple, Jammu. First we've to get darshan of Mata Shri Kalka Ji, Delhi. Only then we can move forward. Actually in the past when our ancestors used to go outside the premises of village or city in the search of job or any sort of thing. First they used to visit kuldevi temple to get darshan and take blessings. It was normal ritual which was bounded with the faith and 😍 love to your Ishtdev. Now a days we don't take this ritual as seriously as our ancestors used to. We go there only when we're free! Unfortunately this is the state of mordern life.

Peace and divinity in the holy feet of Maa Kalka ji, the empress of city of Delhi. Maa's eyes seem so full of affection and love that the the "darshanarthi" forgets all the stress for that very moment. If only the temple management would pay more attention to sanitation and cleanliness in and around the temple's premises, one would experience unprecedented serenity and divinity.
