One of the biggest airports in India, it will take you forever to find your way after your security check is over. I've travelled international and would like to say the international departure is just little satisfactory. The immigration is too slow, there's no one to direct the crowd. The security check is a complete chaos except amazingly the officers do their due diligence very effectively. Once you cross Duty free, its a long long walk without proper signs. There's no necessary small trolleys available to be able to move around. The lounge locations are not properly directed. You will keep looking for bank cards accessible lounge and its at one corner. The airport staff is not too friendly, the international airport staff must live up to the standards to cater to people all around the world. I guess due to covid I could see hardly any foreign nationals around. Overall one of the most connecting airports.

The Airport It may look like just a building, But in truth it’s so much more. You’re never the same person twice, When you pass through the doors. You may be headed for departures, With grand adventure up ahead. Or returning home from far and wide, To a familiar bed. Some greeted by lovers, Who have longed to reunite. Others carry heavy hearts, Goodbyes fading out of sight. Strangers become companions, Paths momentarily intertwined. As they seek out fresh beginnings, Leaving their former selves behind. It may look like just a building, A means to get from A to B. But it’s a time machine and heart breaker, And where I am truly me

It was nice to land in T3. Very neat and clean, Beautiful airport and variety of shopping areas. I do not see many housekeeping people but the Passengers are also cooperative. Only one thing is that long walking is to exit.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is a well-maintained and efficient airport. The facilities are modern and the staff is helpful. The airport offers a wide range of amenities and services, including shopping and dining options. The only drawback is occasional congestion during peak hours. Overall, I rate it 4/5 for its excellent infrastructure and customer service.

Really it's huge big. I think it's the largest airport in India. Environment is very nice.but checking counter is so slow as they have to check. All the international gate is very long way from the security check.it will take 20 min on walk towards the last gate 14 . Too much difficult for illiterate person. Even sick. Although there is immigration auto but u won't get it all time... You should leave from your hotel before 4 hours if u are in Apolo side! Otherwise two hours is enough.. thanks everyone

Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 is one of the best airport I have ever been. The airport is well maintained, clean ,enough spacious to maintain social distancing. The airport has many options for food , shopping, bar, etc. The airport provide complimentary buggy service for old, handicapped. Charging points are installed everywhere so that passengers don't face any issue for charging. The toilets are cleaned.

ONE OF THE LARGEST AIRPORT IN INDIA. offers best in class services. Food court is similar to that of a shopping mall we see. Faced difficulty in locating domestic terminal and nobody there to assist during my visit. Rest all good, airport is maintained well and have good connectivity with metro as well as other transportation facilities like metro buses. Few pics for reference.

Biggest, brightest and clean. One of the best international airport of India. The entire process of boarding a flight is being shifted online to give passengers a hassle free experience. I have taken flight to different countries via various airlines, and had never faced any issue for the travel. The staff here are friendly, considerate and sometimes go out of the way to help passengers.

Indira Gandhi International Airport Biggest airport in India, The airport architecture has its own class. The airport is really clean and very nice, Airport staff is very helpful. There are number of gates and counters for enquiry. After security check-in arrives at the airport mall you can do duty free shopping if you feel the need and if you are hungry there are also many restaurants, if your flight time is longer you can access more lounges. All the chairs are near the boarding door. If there is more flight time, you can rest there.

The Ambience of the airport is very good and the staff's (police persons and other staff) are very helpful and decent. The check in process doesn't take that much time even though the security is very strict. Mr. Aahul from the indigo team was very professional and helpful during the time period of check in.

Prior web check-in mandatory. Immigration process from the Departure terminal is nice, clean and all the protocols are followed. Duty free are not of much use because the destination countries don't allow more than 1-2 bottles of liquor or 100-200 cigarettes. Rest of the things are pricey. The food court is not very spacious. There are Prayer/Namaz rooms for Muslims. (However they're just Empty rooms and everyone is welcomed) Sadly, the gates are very very far and one has to walk a lot. You might also miss your flight if you check-in late and aren't a professional athlete.

This terminal is not up to the mark compared to Bangalore and Mumbai airports. This is on the aesthetics part. However we had a quick check in. Security check was quicker too. I wish they had more bathrooms. Also waiting area was small and display boards were missing. Delhi being the capital of India we expect it to be bit more appealing in terms of its infrastructure.

Most user friendly Airport in India. It has decent conveniences facilities with evenly spread coffee shops. Security personnel are well trained and experienced. There is a dedicated multi storey parking lot near to Departure gate. As far as Parking lot is concerned, place is less secure. So, don't leave valuables in your vehicle parked inside.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you bring a print out with your name, date and flight details clearly stated, or they won't even let you into the building. The airport can be chaotic from the swarm of people and taxi drivers that will gather around you to going through security (and come early to give you time for security and immigration). There are plenty of shopping options, prices are a bit higher than the city. There are a good number of dining options. The Air India lounge is far better than the Premier lounge.

T3 terminal is for international whereas T2 is for domestic. This airport is recently upgraded and is one of the most sophisticated airport in India. Has all the modern facility which includes escalators, lifts, parking, more runways, shops, places to spent time etc,. It has got connectivity through cabs, meteo, regular buses with ans without fare etc. Just for information in case you are at T3 and want to go to T2, there is a way at T3 close to gate no 6 from where you can reach T2 about 1.5 Km far.

There have been some tremendous improvements in safety and handling of large numbers of people since the airport began normal operation again after a big pause in this pandemic situation. Despite being moderately crowded we were able to love through security at least as fast. The staff is generally helpful and the security is good. Even with limited number of people working currently due to the pandemic, most of the services are still available and are quick enough to let you make it through to your flight on time.

Very neat and clean. It has all facilities and you can shop here all brands. Only thing which is disappointing is the crew who carry wheel chair passengers ask for money where there is no camera and I recorded this time when he asked. If someone wanted to give them they will give without even they ask for it but when they ask it puts the image of India down. Some times passenger are not carrying cash with them or simply they don't like it when they beg like this. Management should pay attention towards this thing.

My experience at Delhi Airport has always been quite hectic, as this a huge place and running from one terminal to another does takes lot of time and the swquirity check counter doesn't allow you do checking early as your flight is about to leave. This airport always gives a stressful time to me. But I still love this place only because of the good and sweet people, they have lots of stores to explore and too much variety if food. And they do strict security checking with shows how people working there have so much responsibility on them.

Pros: Spacious, modern terminal, good selection of shops and restaurants, efficient check-in and security. Cons: Can be crowded, long lines at immigration, taxi queues can be long. Overall: A good airport with all the facilities you need for a comfortable flight. Recommendation: If you're flying from Delhi, I recommend using Terminal 3. It's the newer and more spacious terminal, and it has a better selection of shops and restaurants.

One of the busiest and beautiful Airport here in India. With a great classic structural design, this airport attracts a great number of domestic and international travelers on daily basis.... And of course you don't want to miss it's Duty free zone ;) :)

Definitely amongst the finest Airports in India. Loads of outlets to statiate all kinds of demands. Right from High-end cars to cigarette shops, you will all at Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi. Recent past they have opened more Smoking Zones, I guess the few ones existing earlier did not suffice. The security check in too has been expedited. Could be due to less influx of passengers due to Corona Pandemic. Overall a good experience.

The best airport of India, and it has maintained the stature for over 10yrs after the makeover by GMR many years back. This can compete with any other popular international airports in the world. The airport is actually very huge, due to which one has to walk a lot in order to reach the exit gates. There are the airport staff at every point to guide us. Free RTPCR tests are also being conducted here, and the process is simple and superfast. The luggage bay is huge with around 10 odd luggage bays. The interiors are eye catching. The airport is usually busy. Taxi, metro, bus etc are very conveniently accessible. There are so many shops for shopping and eating joints to eat. Gives one the feeling that one has entered a shopping mall. Overall extremely impressed with the airport.

The airport's infrastructure is impressive, huge and clean. The spacious terminal provides ample seating areas and a well-organized layout, ensuring a comfortable experience for travelers. The cleaning staffs and other staffs are well behaved. There are plenty of eating joints as well as nice section of Duty Free shops. The signage are well defined and clear. There are special assistance for old age and differently abled people, which is great. There are plenty of coffee β˜• shops and bakery and restaurants. There is even smoking room and prayers room.

Hey folks! So I recently flew in and out of Indira Gandhi International Airport, and let me tell ya, it's pretty darn solid for an airport. Getting Around First off, navigation is a breeze. Signs are everywhere, and if you're the type to get lost easily (guilty as charged), you'll appreciate how easy it is to find your way around. Food & Shops Hungry or need to kill time? There's no shortage of food joints and shops. From fast food to some fancier options, you've got choices. And yes, there's coffee. Lots of it. Facilities Cleanliness and facilities? Pretty much on point. Restrooms are clean, and there are enough lounges and seating areas to catch a quick nap or get some work done. Security Security is efficient, but like any other busy international airport, lines can be long sometimes. No biggie, just be prepared. Why not 5 stars? So why the 4-star rating, you ask? Well, WiFi can be a bit of a hit or miss, and during peak hours, the place can feel like a madhouse. But hey, that's airport life for ya! All in all, Indira Gandhi International Airport does the job and does it well. It might not be a 5-star experience, but it's definitely one of the better airports I've been through. Worth a visit if you're passing through New Delhi!

It is a very big airport. You can see around the different terminals for a long time. The shops inside the store have various offers. The most prominent of them are for users with Axis Bank Priority Card. One such offer is lounge access at Rs. 1 for three times a year. The security check areas are divided into zones and are in very big hall like areas. The food in the lounges have a man Indian kick and is very tasty. But the only downside is that the staff is ruder than in other airports of the world.

It is one the busiest airport in India. I have been to many airports but found it largest and most crowded airport of india. Security check up is really strict and corona virus pandemic has made no difference between the long lines and there was no social distancing. There are many stores inside the airport to buy products and have a meal. Reach at your gate on time because there are many gates and sometimes, distance is large.

  • 5/5 Pooja A. 3 years ago on Google
I am giving 5 stars today because I was impressed with the attention of the airport staff , the adherence to masks, efficiency of security staff and other personnel to facilitate me exiting the airport while facilitating the completion of necessary paperwork. There are fewer people traveling and that definitely helps. It was easier to social distance as well.

We checked out of airport after really long travel, from what I could see and experience airport is good, no complaints, felt duty free prices are higher than regular wine shops, checking on covid results and related work is good, though its painful for traveller's, customs is strict, scanning each and every bag thoroughly. Saw someone asking for money from a guy, not sure what that guy was carrying or who that money collector is and why he was asking money? All good experience for us, no complaints...

One of the best Airport I would say from Amenity to Ambience. Everything are well placed & well managed. I would really like to thanks to the people and team who are associated restroom cleaning department. - They just give you Smile and Say "Welcome Sir" Hats off to complete team. IGI Airport do have Covid testing facility, I was amazed to see the report within 4-5 hours super arrangements.

The airport is good but some of the staff are really rude. They are neither busy ignoring you or just have no answer to your questions. And also could some one keep the washrooms clean. No direction to the metro specially if you are at D1 or T2. Is anybody listening at all.

Always pleasure to be here. Nice and big airport. Lots of space and seating capacity. It's a silent airport so is really quiet and calm. Has a good connectivity with metro so easily accessible.

Undoubtly, it's one of the best and most beaufitul airport in India. However, be careful for reaching on time as the Departure Gates are really far far away.... Only if Airport authorities could add a map or something below every board indicating the location of each gate and tentative distance/time to reach there...that wouls be of great help to travellers.

This Airport is very big as it has 3 Terminals A, B and C where Terminal A and B are operating low cost domestic flights which involves transit to Aircraft thought Airlines operating buses and Terminal 3 is running all premium domestic and international flights. If you are traveling from T3/ Terminal 3 You must keep lots of extra time before your flight timings as this Airport is very big and departure gates are very far so after your security clearance and baggage drop you may have to to walk around 1km this Airport has walking escalator available with flight access Staircase type gallery so you don't have to transit to Aircraft via bus. All 3 Terminals are having Priority pass lounge facilities.

Terminal 3 is very nice Airport. Many international brands for duty free shopping and a good choice of food court upstairs, excellent Irish bar for drinks and food. I suggest to increase sleeping chairs for long time awaiting passengers for connecting flights. Due to social distancing some chairs cannot be used making passengers for searching to relax.

Terminal 2 is now developing into another world class facility... with all features of a modern airport... all precautions being followed... although one needs to be well in time as the time required for each process has gone up ...

One of the most busiest international airports of India, The Indira Gandhi International Airport have every facility that you can ask for. You can choose from individual food joints to food courts with variety of options to shopping options from Duty free. But the look and feel of inside the airport can be improved given the fact that it is one of the prominent international hub connecting people from all over the world to India.

It's very clean and Hygienic. For taking Delhi Metro do visit Pillar No -10 near Terminal 3. The best way to reach at this place is via New Delhi Airport express line metro. Specially for Indigo flights depart here. You can get your boarding pass at this place , No need to carry physical copy , Just carry the e-ticket.

  • 4/5 Mohit S. 3 years ago on Google
The place used to be really good a few years back. Now it looks old, always crowded, beatification is sub par compared to other airports in the country. The good thing is, this is still the best option for domestic travel. Multiple food, fashion, electronic, sweets and liquor stores inside the airport. The walk to gates takes lot of time. Gates start from 37 to 64 on one side and 27 to 1 on the other so one has to plan ahead based on their boarding gate. During Covid times, social distancing was not really followed, specially at the security gates.

  • 5/5 Manoj Madhukar J. 3 years ago on Google
As it said no 1 airport in the world. Didn't know for which category but must say it was one of the best I visited in India. It was so huge as it took us minimum 20-30 mins to reach the luggage exit point. Precautions for Covid-19 are well taken, social Distancing is well mentioned. There was less crowd compared to last year.. Obvious reasons.

  • 5/5 Mugdha P. 3 years ago on Google
Such an amazing neat and clean airport. The duty free has great options. Only issue is people visiting to India they won't be able to get a WIFI access on their phones as you will need INDIAN sim card to do so (This sucks). So I would suggest bringing in some INDIAN currency with you to pay at the PAY phone. BUT I would say this has to change. This is a major turn off.

Very Nice Airport superb Maintained. Infrastructure is also too good. Yes i have entered the lounge also which is one of the superb experiences I can say all of the things are free to access and eat but one condition you should have is an acceptable credit card or Debit card to enter. All the staff's behaviour is also good even though I'm Just fed up with those checking and all but the security is good too.

Indira Gandhi International airport is beautiful airport which is located in Delhi, airport was hygienic and looks beautiful inside and outside the airport. It was huge airport. But outside many cheaters will be there especially auto drivers they will forcefully call us and charge nearly 200 to 300 rupees just for 4kms. Be careful with those Auto and rikshaw people they will be walking behind us and i felt really bad because of their behaviour. They will speak rudely when we won't board their auto. So be careful with those people. Otherwise Airport was good, hygienic and atmosphere was good.

This is the first time we are visiting this Delhi International Airport. This is one of the biggest airports in India and this is far better than Chennai Airport. It has lots of shops and a very wide food court. We can find chain restaurants like KFC, McDonalds & Burger King etc., functioning here. So, we can blindly step into those restaurants to have our food (we can trust their quality and taste - but a bit pricey when compared to out of Airport branches). Flat escalators are available, this will help the people to relax to reach their desired gate. Overall infrastructure is very fantastic and cleanly maintained. Every 100 meters, we can find the rest rooms and they are also maintained well. But the only disadvantage is the distance from the shops and the gate. We need to walk a bit to reach the shops from our waiting area (gate). Apart from that everything is mind blowing.

    1. Very neat and clean 2. Developing fast. 4. Digi yatra is available. 5. Buses and taxis are hard to get to and from this airport. 6. Not many fooding options are there. 7. Many many restrooms make it easier for passengers to use nearby their gates. 8. U can buy various items here. 9. Wit area is specious so no worries. 10 staff is helpful.

Modern, massive and generally efficient terminal. I had 90 minutes to connect from a domestic Vistara flight to an international Air Canada flight without checked bags and that was definitely tight, but I did it. The distances are vast with most services located away from the gates so leave plenty of time to actually get to your aircraft. The lounges I experienced were...fine, but nothing special. Extensive shopping and duty free stores though as mentioned it's quite far from there to the departure gates themselves. There is a Holiday Inn Express transit hotel right within T3 however keep in mind that it has two sections - Domestic and International. Accessing the Domestic part is fairly complicated and requires leaving the airside completely and connecting with a hotel escort at a "display" in the Arrivals area. Overall, this is a world class airport terminal on par with any other global facility you may have flown through.

The airport is huge and clean. The internasional departure is located at gate 7 & 8. The others gate are for domestic flight. Check in process for Singapore Airlines is fast, but imigration process and custom & Security check is taking times. Be sure to be at airport 3 to 4 hours before your departure time. Be careful when taking taxi from airport to hotel. They charged me 1800Rs just for 3km away and they dont provide receipt.
