Dear
Team
Fabcafe,
you
conveniently
ignored
the
main
issue
that
I
raised.
The
fact
that
all
your
cooked
food
is
prepared
early
in
the
morning
and
then
served
all
day
and
night.
That
is
not
what
we
call
fresh
food,
in
my
neck
of
woods!
Yes,
you
have
a
lot
of
plant
based
items,
mostly
salads,
desserts
and
Indian
chats
(that's
why
I
gave
you
3
stars
and
not
1).
However,
your
main
cooked
dishes
are
mostly
paneer
or
chicken.
And
there
is
no
flexibility
to
make
any
kind
of
change
due
to
allergies
because
the
food
was
already
made
before
we
even
got
there!!
We
asked
to
cook
the
veggies
in
olive
oil
instead
of
ghee
and
they
were
not
able
to
do
it
because
the
food
was
already
made
in
the
morning
(we
were
there
late
at
night)
and
that
was
one
of
the
only
non-Indian
main
dishes
that
was
not
paneer
or
chicken
-
so,
no
for
someone
who
wants
a
vegan
main
course,
this
is
not
the
place
to
go
and
the
cooked
food
that
is
served
at
night,
has
been
sitting
around
all
day.
If
you
are
going
to
respond
to
my
review,
please
address
this
issue
specifically.
Original

Short
version:
If
you
are
vegan
or
you
have
any
allergies,
this
is
definitely
not
the
restaurant
for
you.
Long
version:
We
are
an
American
couple
who
live
in
Goa
and
we
go
through
Delhi
at
least
twice
a
year.
We
are
vegetarian
and
mostly
Vegan.
When
in
Delhi,
we
stay
in
Vasant
Kunj,
very
close
to
this
restaurant.
Last
night
we
did
a
search
for
"Vegetarian
restaurants"
on
Google
Maps
and
"Fabcafe"
showed
up,
so
we
decided
to
check
this
place
out.
First
thing
we
noticed
was
how
small
the
elevator
was!
It
just
fit
the
two
of
us
(they
are
on
the
third
floor).
Once
they
seated
us,
the
waiter
pointed
to
a
picture
of
a
QR
Code
on
the
table
and
said
"this
is
our
menu."
Since
we
don't
have
data
on
our
phone,
we
asked
for
actual
menus.
The
waiter
went
away
and
came
back
with
water
and
no
menus.
So,
I
asked
again
"Menus
please".
He
said
"just
a
minute."
Then
he
proceeded
to
go
around
and
check
up
on
the
other
three
tables
that
were
occupied.
After
a
few
more
minutes,
I
finally
said,
"excuse
me
sir,
menus
please."
At
this
point,
he
finally
grabbed
a
couple
of
menus
and
brought
them
to
us.
Hallelujah!
To
our
surprise,
most
of
the
main
dishes
were
either
Chicken
or
Paneer
(cheese)
dishes
with
the
exception
of
one
which
was
a
kind
of
mix
veg
stir-fry.
The
description
said
that
the
veggies
were
cooked
in
Ghee,
and
since
we
did
allergy
tests
recently
and
discovered
we
are
allergic
to
cheese,
butter
and
Ghee,
we
asked
the
waiter
if
they
could
cook
the
veggies
in
olive
oil
instead
of
Ghee.
(Their
menu
mentions
that
they
use
Ghee,
olive
oil,
and
white
butter
to
cook
the
food).
The
waiter
said
"no
sir"
which
perplexed
us.
Was
the
food
pre-made?!
The
waiter
asked
the
manager
to
come
and
talk
to
us.
The
manager
first
said
it
was
not
and
then
proceeded
to
explain
that
the
the
food
is
all
prepared
and
cooked
in
the
morning
and
then
served
all
day
and
night.
That
means
the
food
they
serve
you
at
night
was
prepared/cooked
early
in
the
morning
and
just
sits
around,
either
in
the
fridge
or
out
in
the
pots,
all
day!
This
would
not
be
such
an
issue,
except
for
the
fact
that
their
website
says
"We
focus
on
serving
food
that
is
fresh,
simple,
and
nutritious."
I
guess
they
have
a
different
concept
of
what
is
"Fresh"!
I
would
suggest
if
you
want
to
try
this
place,
go
there
when
they
just
open
in
the
morning
so
you
can
get
food
that
is
freshly
cooked.
Otherwise
you'll
be
served
food
that
has
been
sitting
around
all
day!
To
think
that
a
restaurant
touting
itself
as
a
healthy
health-conscious
place
could
not
accommodate
a
simple
request
based
on
a
food
allergy,
with
supposedly
a
fully
stocked
kitchen
in
the
back
(we
did
not
confirm
that
there
is
actually
a
kitchen
there!),
is
surprising,
to
say
the
least.
We
took
our
business
elsewhere.
