Chittaranjan Park or CR park is min Kolkata of Delhi. Bengali dwelling in Delhi is immediately remembered to be living in Chittaranjan Park, one of the biggest Bengali people group outside the boundaries of Bengal. Very few individuals are familiar the set of experiences and beginning of Chittaranjan Park. Before it came to its current symbol, this region was likely, one of the most infertile parcels which could have no other reason than staying. So I will rate the items according to Kolkata Bengali food taste. 1. Jhall Mudhi = 3 stars 2. Mochar chop = 5 stars 3. Chicken chop = 5 stars 4. Double egg roll = 5 stars 5. Kulad chai = 0 stars ( it's better to drink hot water ) 6. Chuski = 4 stars 7. Bengali sweets = 5 stars 8. Mishti doi = 5 stars

CR park for any Probashi Bengali is an emotion. Every shop would remind you of the old bylanes of Kolkata. I particularly visit this place for grocery shopping especially their quality fishes. Although the prices are on a higher side yet, the quality is incomparable. I generally take away fish fries, fingers and sweets from stalls on the ground and it's such a pleasure seeing them packing my food with such enthusiasm while I sip on my watermelon mojito.

Market 1, CR Park is famous for Kathi Rolls and Kolkata delicacy. It has variety of street food from Kolkata. The market also has a fish market where you can get variety of fishes. The only cons here is parking.. The market does not have much parking space but if you are fortunate enough then just enjoy the Kolkata delicacy here.

Best place to relish the mouth-watering bengali snacks like fish chop, fish fingers, fish cutlet, mochar chop, ghooni and many more. There are other veg as well as chicken and mutton preparations and Chinese food options. However, I go here particularly for fish. One must also try mughlai paratha and the range of Bengali sweets. A must try place for foodies.

The market's heart lies in its diverse array of street food stalls, serving delectable Bengali sweets, spicy chaats, and savory snacks that tantalize the taste buds. CR Park Market is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the rich Bengali culture and indulge in mouthwatering street food. It's a delightful fusion of tradition and modernity, a true gem in Delhi's diverse market scene.

Famous for its Kolakata Rolls shops that also serve many other non-veg street food delicacies. There are some Bengali stores catering to Bengali traditional stuff. And of course, a very big fish shop.

A good place for buying Bengali basics like fish, veges, etc. It has all the local Kolkata brands. There's a puchkawala also. Kathi rolls are also sold here.

Good Kolkata Street food and authentic Bengali sweets. You get Bengali groceries too. A little west bengal away from West Bengal in Delhi ❤️

  • 2/5 Devan D. 1 year ago on Google
Eclectic Bengali succour for the Bengali expats in Delhi and enthusiasts curious for Bengali food. As much as you get everything Bengali... Like most places in Delhi... Wear and tear is starting to tell... Not only in the infrastructure, but the quality and cleanliness has become startlingly problematic. If the shopkeepers and locals don't understand that the modern customers and clientele will slowly shift away to digital and airconditioned mega malls... Such little markets may become sad relics of a time gone by.

Lot of varieties of eateries at this place but not well managed. During durga pooja time the market buzzing with road side eateries Mughlai paratha and Gungni , Mishthi Doi are few things to try out

  • 5/5 Sonu M. 1 year ago on Google
Heaven for sea food lovers and for Bengali sweets also. Amazing food and best durga pooja is also celebrated here.

Market 1 is located at 15 mins walking distance from Nehru Enclave metro station. Consists of day to day essentials used by Bengalis. Contains a fish market supplying high quality fish 🐠, mainly Rohu/ Katla. Also there is a famous chat corner, Kolkata Kathi Roll shops, sweet shop and stationary shop supplying cosmetics. There is Dakshina Kali temple beside the market 1.

CR Park offers a diverse range of eateries, serving authentic Bengali delicacies and other regional cuisines. The market area is bustling with activity and is an excellent place to explore and shop for traditional Bengali items and clothing. The neighborhood is known for its well-maintained parks and green spaces, providing a relaxing environment for residents and visitors alike. CR Park is also home to various cultural and social clubs, contributing to its vibrant community spirit. However, like any bustling neighborhood, traffic congestion and parking can be challenging, especially during peak hours or festive seasons.Overall, CR Park in Delhi is a culturally rich and lively neighborhood, offering a unique blend of Bengali traditions and modern urban living. It's a must-visit destination for those looking to experience the vibrant Bengali culture and indulge in some delightful culinary experiences.

It's a real feel of Bengal in Delhi. The fish market is superb. Bengali misti and dahi and delicious cuisine deserve to be mentioned.

  • 5/5 Abhik R. 4 months ago on Google
Its a mini Kolkata in Delhi, in short. Once you enter this locality, it will give you a feel of Kolkata from ambience and people living in this residential location. Also there are a couple of markets here where each and every variety of Bengal products are available. Be it food spices fishes, puja products and daily groceries. In short, it's a real fun to visit this place 😊

Food taste was fine, quality and quantity has been compromised.

  • 4/5 Raveesh S. 3 years ago on Google
Limited variety of shops, mostly Chinese and Bengali cuisine eateries, few general provisions outlets and fish market. Roadside street food stalls are aplenty and good, foodies would love it. But overall, market is limited by small size.

  • 4/5 Len H. 2 years ago on Google
One of the best places in Delhi for sweets. The Bengalis are known for their sweets and this market in the Bengali colony has several options, including the famous Kamala Sweets just across the road from the market complex. There are several shops for daily provisions in and around the complex, besides a stationary, pharmacies and food joints. Street food around here is quite popular.

  • 3/5 Abhijit M. 2 years ago on Google
Shopkeepers should keep the entire shopping complex much cleaner. The urinal stinks. Lot of goods are dumped outside the shops or in the lanes. With a basic sense of hygiene, all these can be improved.

  • 5/5 Abhishek K. 2 years ago on Google
Street Food lovers, this is the place for you'll.. Chinese, Mughlai, North India, Rolls, Biryani, Misthi Doi, Sweets, Gol Gappe, Chaats and what not you get tummy full of food out here.. Mind blowing food, good hygienic place and you get everything, Vegetarian, Non Vegetarian, Diary products and whole lots of things.. Must Visit if in Delhi..

Heaven for Bengalis. Delicious and lip smacking food. Need I say more 🙂

  • 4/5 Rahul M. 2 years ago on Google
Love this place. Heart of C.R. Park. Great place for foodies as in this market, 90% shop's are related to food items. Here we get groceries, raw fish, sweets, chowmein, bengali chops - alu chop, beguni, Vegetable chops and Biryani, momos etc. The market is very clean and hygienic. But One thing is here is items are little bit costlier, especially the raw fish. If we want to buy fish, should opt for Indira fish market near Ravidas Marg as there we can get fish much more cheaper than market no. 1. But quality of fish is A class in market No. 1 compared to Indira Market.

  • 5/5 mukib b. 2 years ago on Google
All the necessary household items are very easily available here. In my last visit I found a new addition. A person was selling some of the most wonderful earrings at throw away prices.

One single market for a wide range of fresh fish, mutton, Bangali sweets n local as well as bengali street food.... Nice vibrant market but a tad dirty... Authorities need to pay attention to the hygiene aspects...

Good market where you get everything thing and some of the typical food items which are preferred by persons from Eastern part of India. Though it is a Bengali market but you will get Odia, Assamese customers visiting this place for food and non veg items. Also, lots of food joints makes it a happening place with foodies. You can get pakodi, ghugni, rolls, biryani, full meal restaurants like Annapurna, biryani Blues etc. A must visit place if you want to have something different from the regular parathas, samosas or chole Bhathure...
