Before Pandemic, it was kunzum travel cafe , now converted into A book store. Actually, It's a curated book store where variety is priority over quantity. I like the aesthetics, reading space and idea 💡 they are working on. The concept is "if you buy a book, you can use reading space and avail a complementary coffee. Isn't it amazing- in the world of digital rush somebody is still promoting physical reading. In one line - it's paradise for book lovers. Inside Fact - it's thier fifth store.

Beautiful little book shop that has a variety of books of all genres. The collection here is superb, and as is the case with every Kunzum outlet, every book you buy gets you a complimentary coffee and cookies, which is a nice touch, really. Definitely recommendee if you are a book lover. ❤️

We visited their only once since it’s a travel cafe and had met & heard about it from their owner Ajay. The cafe is a simple one more of thematic. You have comfortable sitting. Low lying seats. You read, draw etc. there are travel books available. You can even draw or paint. There are Colors and drawing sheets. Whatever you draw or paint you can sign and hang it there in the cafe. There is normal coffee at zero cost. Simple hot coffee with couple of cookies. You can have it and you can pay an amount of your choice while leaving the cafe. There is a money box where in you can drop your money. They also have a website. They have a calendar where they schedule different activities in the month like book review, saree draping, seminar, travel discussion etc.

It’s basically a bookstore with an wide spectrum and good numbers of books. You can buy book and read sitting here. Some interesting facts are - 1. If you buy book, you can have complementary tea or coffee. 2. You can hire books from their pre-loved section. Also, if you buy 4 books, you can get any 1 book from the pre-loved section for free.

A cute lovely book cafe..with loads of pictures and sceneries. I went there for a book launch. It was amazing calm place in Hauz Khas. I totally fell in love with the ambience and peace at the place. It’s really cost effective with offering delicious coffee and cookies❤️❤️

The cafe is cool. The idea of the cafe is super cool. You become the member and get concessions for trips and travel workshops. You can sip coffee and give as much money as possible ( less or more , doesn’t matter). A must visit.

They have come with a very interesting and creative idea. They serve only tea and coffee without any rates but you can pay whatever you feel is the worth. The ambiance is so unique that you can read, paint. Their walls are decorated with the pictures of people from corners of the world. And you got to see the travel wish wall, which is very mesmerizing to read read travel wishes of so many people and you can add yours. The place is good to visit with friends, couple, meet up with new bunch of people and you can visit yourself and indulge in your own stuff.

Nestled in Hauz Khas Village's main street amongst numerous eateries and fashion shops, the bookshop is an oasis for the book lover. It's cozy atmosphere invites one to browse. One can also sit at a table and taste its excellent coffee while leafing through a book!

In a place full of clubs and cafes, there is a hidden book store which has my heart. They have a perfect interior with a perfect color combination and a best collection of books of every genre. You can also purchase any book and sit there to read it. It's a place you never want to leave.

Great place to chill. Although you get only tea and coffee served here. Great if you want to work remotely somewhere. Not a lot of crowd in daytime and weekdays. I am a freelancer so it's an amazing place for me to work without any disturbance. They have a free WiFi but you'll have to ask them for the password. It's not mobile number operated. Would love to come here with friends.

Beautiful cafe specially the creative atmosphere there. Just loved the travel wish wall. Coffee and tea were not on rates but you pay whatever you like. A new concept, unique one actually. The ambiance was clam with full of artistic. Will definitely visit it again and this time with my set of paints.

A very beautiful place to have meetups, relax and have peace. You can stay there as long as you want and the best thing is you can pay as much as you wish for the beverages there.

I loved this place....were all travellers meet at one place...they offer you coffee and cookies and don’t ask you to pay....pay what you wish they won’t ask. Good collection of books too✅♥️

My favourite place to go. The place has a positive vibe and the yellow lights make it look trendy . This place is famous among travellers.

  • 5/5 Abhishek M. 5 years ago on Google
Probably one of its kind; excellent for people interested in travelling. You can read / buy travel related books here, attend weekly workshops on travel/photography that they organize, just sit and chat with your friends, pin your travel wish on a huge note-board already jam packed with tons of previously pasted wishes, doodle/draw some cool art work if you are into that sorta stuff. They also have free wifi. The USP is the amazing french-press coffee and tea that they serve (with cookies), for which you can pay whatever you feel like when you leave the place (the money is supposed to be deposited in a small treasure like box by the entrance)! Found the concept to be really interesting. Pro Tip 1: They don't serve food / snacks, ONLY tea / coffee / cookies, so please keep that in mind! Pro Tio 2: The "chairs" are basic (round cane stools), and can get uncomfortable after an hour or so.

Kunzum Travel Cafe was super nice. It's now a bookstore. They serve complimentary tea when a book is purchased. The owner is nice and kind. Super chill place to read the book you just got.

  • 1/5 Jeremiah S. 1 year ago on Google
Kind of strange - this place is not actually a cafe, just a bookstore. We sat down at the table and chairs to take a look at the books and ask if they had coffee. Was immediately told that we couldn't sit and that it's "not a place for working". Don't bother visiting.

Nice and quiet place to read or work. They have a large collection of books arranged per genre. They only offer coffee if you purchase a book from them but you can still use charging ports and WiFi free of cost.

The three stars because I do not like the update from a cosy reading space to a small bookstore. The coffee is still great but the cookies didn't taste like they used to earlier or even recently like in the jor bagh outlet. Wish that the reading space concept comes back just for this outlet.😌

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kunzum Bookstore in the heart of Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The store's quaint and quiet ambiance immediately caught my attention, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. What sets Kunzum Bookstore apart is their unique practice of serving coffee with the purchase of books. It's a wonderful gesture that enhances the reading experience and makes you feel right at home. I spent a couple of hours engrossed in their wide collection of books, which catered to various interests and genres. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, ready to recommend hidden gems or engage in literary conversations. It truly felt like a haven for book lovers, a place where you can lose track of time while exploring the realms of literature. If you're in search of a peaceful retreat to immerse yourself in a good book, Kunzum Bookstore is the perfect destination. The combination of their inviting atmosphere, complimentary coffee, and extensive book selection makes for a memorable and enriching experience.

Good selection of environmental books, although more wildlife guides would be useful. It’s clean and quiet and nicely decorated. Features many Indian and local authors and books on Delhi.

Really good coffee. I’m surprised they serve such good coffee, inspite of their pay-as-you-please business model. On par with any other coffee centric cafe.. like blue tokai or Starbucks. Their biscuits/cookies they serve with the coffee/tea are amazing.

A one of a kind place I have seen in Delhi with 'Pay What You Like' service. The cafe is small with casual seating and it is really very calm and silent. With an option of having tea and coffee of different varieties with biscuits, the place also has some magazines and books for sale. We were there for a meeting with a colleague and just loved the amazing ambiance of the place. I'm definitely going back to this place

I absolutely love this place. The concept is really unique. If you like to connect to other people's anecdotes, the diaries here are a treasure trove for you. Otherwise, you can pick up a book, sit in a quiet corner, and read. The coffee can be improved, but it's a part of the experience, so I won't complain.
