Fascinating wilderness among the busy streets of new delhi, the ridge forest is huge. It has bike trails, picnic spots, well done gardens, some water bodies and tons of wonderful flora and fauna. Fascinated during winters, esp when the sun is out!

Nice forest. But not recommended to walk around alone. There are way too many monkeys and pigs and wild dogs and mangoose and everything. Also saw Peacocks there which were nice. But it's a long road which leads to the Delhi Earth Station or the ISRO office or this palace called Malcha Mahal. But nice road walk. Cabs take forever to accept something from this place

It's really very quiet and big jungle area but not safe for the people who are alone. Because this is a famous haunted place too.

IN the vicinity of crowded city of Delhi you will be amazed to see the lush green. Quite a vast are. Those who wants to roam around in the virgin green may venture into. Those who are not familiar with forest may not go alone. It may not be safe.

It's a lush green beautiful place in the heart of the city. A nice winter morning is much asked. Best time to visit from February to April and October to December. That's the time when you will see many flowers blooming and this is a mesmerizing and soothing view to the eyes.

Went here to clean the littered plastic from this stretch. Lot of people visit to feed cows and monkeys but also litter the place so we took upon us to clean it. While cleaning saw wild life like jackals and wild boar. Was a fun time

A good place in New Delhi area. One can visit the place with family or friends. The ridge forest is huge. It has bike trails, picnic spots, well done gardens, some water bodies and tons of wonderful flora and fauna. In winter the surrounding scenarios of the forest is amazing ! May be it somewhat become fearful in rainy days. Picnic can be arranged here and bringing your children with you is also a good idea.

It’s a lush green expanse, spread across an area of 6200 ha. To reach this spot, you can get off at the Tughlakabad metro, and walk toward the lush green canopy of trees, and there you reach the Southern Ridge forest. It is home to the Asola Bhatti wildlife sanctuary, and is also home to around 193 species of birds, and a huge variety of plants. Also, with more than 80 species of butterflies fluttering around, you will never have a dull moment here. Beautiful ❤️

It is located in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. I would say one must have to visit Bastar once in a lifetime. It all myth that this place is so backward or naxalites are there, This place is so beautiful and so much of nature beauty is there. There is lot to explore in Bastar.
