Myself
Inder
(
Inderbir
Kaur
Vatsa)
was
admitted
in
your
Fortis
Hospital,
Shalimar
Bagh,
Covid
Ward
room
no
404
bed
no
3
on
8th
and
was
relieved
on
15th
dec
2020
at
8
pm
after
spending
a
week.
I
want
to
appreciate
all
the
membars
of
covid
team
to
handle
such
a
challenging
situation
with
limmitted
availability
of
resources
and
their
hands
tight.
All
the
operations
of
Covid
ward
are
being
handled
in
professional
manner.
1.
Doctors
used
to
visit
frequently,
Explain
to
the
patient
status
and
further
plan
of
treatment
based
on
the
test
report
and
progress,
listening
to
patients
query
and
answerring
patientiely.
They
were
taking
good
care
of
frustrated
(due
to
covid)
patients
with
smile.
Some
times
we
were
not
able
to
differentiate
even
between
Doctor,
Sisters
and
support
staff
due
to
PPT
kit,
In
initial
days
due
to
totaly
being
down
with
covid
and
not
able
to
fully
open
even
eyes,
and
not
knowing
and
thinking
it
is
nursing
staff
which
has
come
on
my
call
to
change
drip,
I
signed
Doctors
,
I
don'
remember
exactly
who,
(Dr
Meghna,
Dr
Seema,
Dr
Rahul
Jain,
Dr
Yadav
or
Dr
Vikas
Maurya)
that
drip
is
over
and
it
is
to
be
changed
.
Instead
of
getting
annoyed,
with
a
smile
they
switched
of
the
drip
and
told
me
they
will
send
nurse.
It
happened
2-3
times.
Such
was
their
level
of
callmness.
2.
Doctors
used
to
call
and
give
daily
update
to
patient's
relative.
3.
Even
my
Dr
Arpita
Chatterjee
called
on
phone
to
update
me
my
status
and
further
line
of
treatment
plan
and
answer
my
queries.
4.
Dietician
was
taking
proper
care
of
our
diet,
daily
communicating,
making
changes
in
diet
plan
as
per
our
conditions
and
explaining
us
about
the
diet
why
this
type
of
diet
is
given
to
us
.
She
was
asking
about
our
choices
and
any
item
we
don't
take
and
taking
our
feedback.
5.
Services
department
was
always
available
on
call
and
was
daily
taking
feedback
and
trying
to
do
what
ever
possible.
6.
Specially
Nursing,
Service
staff
DDA,
DD
were
working
on
their
toes,
doing
their
best
within
limited
resources
and
had
to
face
irre
and
scoldings
of
irritated
patients
due
to
covid
.
The
patients
who
were
unaware
of
their
status
and
expecting
immediate
relief
instead
of
knowing
the
recovery
process
and
its
long
time
were
throwing
their
anger
on
this
unrelated
staff.
Some
patients
with
small
related
problems
like
constipation,
stomach
ache
or
back
ache
instead
of
waiting
for
medicine
to
work
wanted
immediate
relief,
were
disturbing
nursing
staff
a
lot.
I
feel
in
case
patients
could
be
made
more
aware
of
the
different
departments
withing
covid
ward
and
with
whom
which
issues
have
to
be
taken
up,
it
would
increase
the
efficiency
more.
7.
I
appreciate
full
Covid
Team
for
working
sincearly
day
and
night
and
facing
this
big
challenge.
Please
keep
it
in
your
hospital
record
and
circulate
in
the
Covid
ward
staff
to
keep
their
moral
high.
