Very bad personal experience... There is huge misconception that it is a charitable hospital. Services are pretty bad although charges are grossly exorbitant. Although Doctors may be good but even in OPD after prior appointment, your turn may come after 3-4 hrs of scheduled time. All other services including Casualty, nursing and associated services are pretty low standard, no empathy or focus on patient care... My dad had to spend 18 days for a surgery and costed us almost 7 Lacs which should have taken 4-5 days in a good hospital... I still wonder what happens to the poor chaps who come in general OPD. Have seen even poor patients being charged in lakhs for hospital stay. May be corporatization of medical profession due to insurance companies has drastically lowered this noble profession...

This review is specifically about Sir Ganga Ram hospital, General ward. So if you can afford any room above that then don't waste your time reading further. As it is said, if you have money the world salutes you. But if you are poor you do not even have the right to fall sick. I was hospitalized in Sir Ganga Ram due to some complications and due to unavailability of bed, I was shifted to General ward for 2 days. Previously also I was admitted here but those were better rooms (semi private, private rooms). But here in General ward I realised if you are poor no one will care for you. Even though the staff is same which serves in better rooms but their behaviour changes in General ward. 1. They are not polite. They are arrogant to patient and their attendants. You don't have to do an additional effort to be kind and it goes a long way specially for an ailing person. Just because the person is financially not good doesn't mean you have to be rude and show him his level. 2. A doctor who is treating you in a hospital can treat you from his home also, generally doctors provide consultation at multiple places. But we are made comfortable by the staff there. If the staff is rude, unprofessional then please there is no point because you will not be happy and it will effect you mentally/physically. 3. Even if you know someone senior in staff but if you are in general ward then you are nothing but "General". Please don't expect empathy from the nurses, house wives, sweepers, in house male help. They will not understand you. 4. The nurses do not know the sick can be sleepy anytime. They do not even know the night time is resting time not just for the patient but their attendants also. But, the night is their party time. They are loud, they are chaotic and they do not respect others sleep. The nurses station is inside the General ward so they are loud and clear. I stayed here for 2 days and I came to know about the personal life of all the night staff people. Really. Trust me on that. If you are weak financially or due to some condition you have to be admitted to General ward then please keep your expectations low. Please don't expect any support for the nurses/ housewife's and other staff. Just trust your doctor, get well soon and leave. These people they don't deserve your good wishes nor are they considerate for your well being.

Had an appointment with Dr Ratna Puri at Ganga Ram Hospital at 12:40pm. We reached the hospital half an hour before the appointment time. However, the staff at the reception were very confused and not very helping. They dont even saw our appointment receipt and made us wait for almost 2 hours stating that the doctor will come shortly. However, the doctor was sitting in another building. We had an appointment at 12:40pm and we sat with the doctor for consultation at 2:30pm just because of the confused staff present at the reception. The doctor was very warm although i would suggest have been the staff more attentive our experience would have been better.

Special thanks to Dr C.S Agrawal (Neuro) and Dr.Manish Munjal (ENT) for their help and support. Doctor's OPD appointment has online booking option, however be ready to wait 1-2 hours more than your scheduled time. Admissions & Discharge processes: Here I feel hospital lacks in number of staff available as well as staff behaviour; they are very rude and unsupportive, they often give reference to the IPC code for threatening them. There was a time at discharge and lot of chaos, DMS was called and he came after numerous calls, but he could not support, a security guard came and helped ease the situation which DMS could have done. Nurses & Ward support: Nurses and ward support is really good, they are very empathetic and supportive, despite found them working overtime, still they are very prompt and helpful. Cleaning, hygiene & maintenance Hospital, rooms have been kept very well cleaned and hygiene, however Housekeeping need to be more prompt. Need attention for items like Microwave, fan etc taped wire which could be fatal. Pricing & Hospital tariffs: As we all know, this Field is one of the most demanding & profitable business these days, still pricing, tariff etc are at medium range comparative to Medanta and bLK kapoor, which are very expensive Facilities & Amenities: Hospital has multiple floor parking available (11 floors), hence no problem of parking. (20rs per hour charge), 300 rs full day pass, also they have Valet parking available. They have a canteen which is 24 hours operational and also deliver items without any extra cost to your room. Subway, wholefood brands are also available with direct to room delivery option. A big garden inside the hospital premises.

The hospital is great and few of the doctors are exceptional. But i would like to write about Dr. VB bhasin who is in Orthopaedics department. Once you pay him to get the consultation and then he asks to get the test done and show the reports next day on my follow up app and where it charges you again Rs1150/- to upload your reports and get medication based on that by the doctor. You have to unnecessarily pay more than twice the money to get your treatment started and then this nexus continues. Please don't go to this doctor as he is very commercialised in nature and rude in behaviour.

I visited the emergency wing of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital with my mother yesterday. There was a huge rush. At first, things seemed to be chaotic. However the hospital has employed Patient care coordinators to help the patients and their family members. Once, we met Ravinder Kumar, Sr. Patient Care Coordinator, our experience was smooth. He helped us in everything including a visit by the Doctor, getting various tests done and treatment. Even with so much of crowd, he was helping most of the patients / attendants. We left the hospital satisfied by their services.

One of the worst managed hospitals. I took one of my relatives to their emergency and the staff kept on creating a pressure to put them in a private ward and didn't gave them proper emergency care by threatening to kick the patient out of the hospital. It had not been even 20hr+ when i arrived at the hospital and as a legal personnel i asked them under what right are they denying the patient emergency procedure. The juniors doctors are more humare and understanding while the other staffers tend to create pressure to put patients in upper end private rooms just to create more money.

Disappointing😞, No doubt the Hospital is worthy Top rated in terms of Doctors available there but the (SIS) security (not all) is total arrogant, partiality is in their blood which I myself experienced there & many more complained about the same, that was hilarious when a women was stopped to eat in waiting room, but another day many people together also eat in waiting room in front of SIS guard without any hesitation. I myself was sent to enter Hospital building from another door, while I saw many people entering via the same door in which I was stopped. On another day a lady attendant which seemed to have not slept whole night wasn't allowed to take a nap in waiting room when the whole room was vacant, while I myself saw many people sleeping in the same waiting room, when the room was fully booked by attendants. The guards(not all) are very much disappointing😞. On the other end I have seen guards which helped patients, attendants alot of times but the attitude of some guards force me to write this review here. If rules are there they must be for everyone not for selective people.

This hospital is selling the names of their senior doctors. You will meet senior doctors in OPD, but the procedure will be done by juniors and subordinates. No need to pay such high charges for getting operated upon by people who have not yet achieved their medical degrees. While the senior doctors are good, they won't be doing the procedure in most of the cases. Most of the 5 star reviews are fake, likely done by hospital staff. They won't mention for which treatment they got 5star services, just say that the hospital is good.

I used to get calls from my dietician on the daily basis and someone used to come for counseling me to increase my morale which I feel was very very good. One of my worst experience in a hospital so far.. I feel pity for those General opd patients.. it seems u can only meet the doctor (general opd) only on monday 9-11. And the worst part is u have to wait one whole week just to get ur test report (even X-ray). They ll literally trap u to pay for Private opd. Which is way too expensive than other pvt hospital. But due to big hospital and too much crowd staff don't know locations of wards properly. After 1 hour i could reach at children ward. Because of high quality of standard and maintenance charges is high, so poor and below average people never think about this hospital.

Worst pharmacy ever located in the hospital. They won't give you medicines that are low in price even if they have it. They give you only those medicines in which they can make profit. Lastly, no other shops outside the hospital will give you that low priced medicine until you buy all the medicines from them. I recommend to first check the prices of all medicines mentioned in prescription and then buy all the medicines from outside or you'll end up running for one medicine.

One of the best hospital in Delhi NCR and even India. Pediatrician department is very good. My 4 months daughter was admitted due to dehydration and loose motion. She got recovered in 3-4 days. My wife also got admitted for her gallstone surgery and lump in thigh. I am very much satisfied with the great and services.

Worst service, irresponsible staff, inexperienced dr, at the time of addmission they would ask for advance but when they have to refund the same they take weeks, my patients was expired because of their inefficient staff and their irresponsible behaviour. And it was said the advance payment would be refunded within two days and it is already 7 days and amount is still not refunded. Worst experience dr would not tell u what the problem is and they would just keep doing test so that they can make money. They are working with one intention and that is to make money. They have nothing to do with patients.

I went to the hospital for the admission of my brother today as advised by Dr R.R.Mantry cardiologist the way we were treated by the admission staff and the emergency people and the security guards was very bad we were harrassed so much for a wheel chair for my patient who had been just operated for a stent and the second stent we planned for Ganga Ram Hospital but the behaviour of the staff towards the patient and the patient party was very bad and had to bring back my patient home without treatment.soooo Shameful.No trust on this hospital.Ganga Ram Hospital shouldtake in mind that patients are also human being not animals but the way the staff of this hospital treated us we don't even treat animals also.

My patient is admitted from around 3 hour, But there is no response from duty dr. Gaurav (gastroenterologist) He said that don't disturb me again. He is sleeping from 2 hour. Attitude of tha employees ia same as govt. Hospital , we visited hear for a little hospitality. But sad If you don't have two attenders you won't survive Payment counter - sample collector- pathology are far apart. First you go to payment counter , they will send you to lab for barcode, when you reach pathology (300 MTR apart), you have to wait . (10-20 minutes) Then you will return to payment counter ,(stay in queue, pay Go to give sample (in a nearby collection centre ) Take the sample and, leave it to pathology And wait for 3-4 days (as replied by them) I paid a fees of 1700/- rupees and wondering since 3 days. So 😢😭

A very nice and well maintained hospital with all kind of facilities. 1- it has all departments which are managed nicely. 2- OPDs are divided as general and private so one can avail treatment according to their convenience. 3- all departments has their attendants for helping customers. 4- a well maintained canteen which serves delicious food of all kind. I would have rated zero if possible. First of all there emergency services are pathetic , every kind of patient lying on trolley seeking for attention, there's lack of staff in emergency and they are always overwhelmed. My patient got treatment 5 hours after entering the hospital and mind you she is the case of brain hemorrhage. In the wards they have trainee sisters who don't know there work obviously, simple task of blood sampling is tedious for them . And to top it all they will charge you full day room charges and boot you as soon as the bill is paid. Being a doctor myself ,seeing this pathetic state of affair I am really aghast .

Give ganga ram hospital 1 star for IVF emergency. No one rpl when you need help. 6-7 times I will call . But ivf emergency no one rpl n help. Very disappointed. If you have pain and any emergency regarding ivf ... after 9 to 5pm so don't call .

I visited Sir Gangaram Hospital for treatment of Cellulitis my son in his cheek. I consulted Dr Ambug Garg first and thereafter, Dr Atul Kakkar. Both of the doctors were interested in admission of my son for surgery of Cellulitis. How ever, I did not admit my son and consulted another Doctor who advised for high dosage of antibiotics. Now my son is getting better . So I do not recommend Dr Ambuj Garg and Dr Atul Kakkar.

Greedy hospital..They will make sure to take even little penny from you. Service charges of even doctors do not match with the services provided by them.

Mum Prabha Lata Mehra was admitted in the HDU end of August and after a few days we were told that as per procedure she will need to be transferred from there to be discharged. We requested for a single deluxe room and were told that there is none available so if we can take her where ever we want from the hospital as they required HDU bed.We tried to pull favour from all our contacts and subsequently after 2 days we managed to get a room and transferred at midnight. I requested to wait till the morning and was told they will not hold the room till the morning. The service and standards are unbelievable and level of care is shocking. Some of the doctors on your bill don't ever come to see the patients it's a fraudulent practice and you are not allowed to challenge .we were told Wed will need to be discharged on Friday, so we did all the arrangements but least did we know that they wanted to bill us for another day so the process is getting delayed .They sent our file to the billing at 10am on Friday as after 10 they can charge us till Sat. This was the least of my worries. We did not get discharged till after 10pm and the medical team refused to give necessary percribed 💉injection to my mum 84 yrs old diabetic and were told that file is in billing and they will not be doing any further treatment. I made a formal complaint to the Doctor and requested response from Dr RANA .I got nowhere with it whie I was in the hospital oŕ after discharge.I would suggest unless you have a doctor who has influence in the admissions or a contact who can bribe the team don't bother .I have DR'S in family they all feel this place is a disgrace to medical practice .No procedures of social distances or sanitisation are maintained. Housekeeping and and general maintenance is not even attended whilst we were in a deluxe private room. It should have been checked prior to giving away rooms.

Dr Abha Majumdar is a founding member of IVF gangaram team and is a well known IVF specialist . I would like to thank her selfless guidance and support. All the team member are very experienced , supportive and most important, ‘Honest’. The protocols and procedures followed by her and the team are extremely refined and makes it impossible for any error. One more thing I respect is the unbiased attention given to one and all. Time and again , I have found myself having 100% faith with Dr Abha ,and her fellow team members. I highly recommend consulting her for any gynaecological issues .

Low quality administration, covid protocols not adhered to and doctors highly negligent. The staff is also very rude and unprofessional. It felt more like a flea market than a hospital. The entire experience from a-z was terrible.

Good facilities Heavy on pocket but still better than other big hospital

Emergency services are great and proper medical care is given in wards as well as in casualty. Doctors and nurse staff are very co-operative.

One of the best private hospitals in Delhi. The doctors are professional. I have had many family members treated here, and have always been satisfied. There are many private hospitals in Delhi, some of them are much closer to my place than gangaram but this is one hospital where I place a lot of trust. One caveat is that they make people use their own labs for testing which has lead to delay in one case where my dad had to wait unnecessarily for 20 days as they did not have a certain chemical for pet scan. My dad was at a critical stage of cancer and this caused him some suffering. I still am willing to overlook this given the otherwise professional service they provide.

Its the team of well qualified and highly experienced doctors that makes this hospital go to place for treatments. And the above rating of 5* is purely because of the doctors and not admin or facilities available. If you rate the hospital on other parameters my rating would be: - Admission: 1* it is not easy to get a bed in this hospital and even if you get a bed the whole procedure take around 2hrs which is torturous with patient waiting in the lobby. - Parking: 1* they have a multilevel parking but they charge you 20 rupees per hour, so if your patient is admitted and your car is parked there... be ready to shell out few thoudand rupees for parking. For a hospital itd exorbitant. - Cleanliness: 1* common areas are not maintained especially washrooms, you would rather avoid going there. In a nutshell, go to this place only and only for the doctors. Else avoid.

This is one of the most reputed hospitals of Delhi in terms of facilities and doctors. Paramedical staff appears to be more than any other private hospitals. Majority of the nurses are working there for more than decades which speaks volumes about working condition and the management. They have built a spacious multistorey parking which relieves lot of pressure from yours shoulders. The canteen serves excellent food and their room service (for attendants of in patients) is very prompt. Being an old hospital the OPD area is very crowded. Since the doctors are good, patients overlook this inconvenience.

He didnt remove the stone and said that he removed it and he cut a nerve kidney due to which we are still facing problems ... i m going to legally sue this hospital and that doctor . Never tell them that you a health insurance ...they intentionally make you stay in hospital for long Worst hospital ever ,may that doctor face same .

They are not accepting PM Jay health card but when we are checking on govt website there is clearly shown they will accept and we can check also on internet they joined this scheme with full media bang support and that was only for media... Worst part is I travel for treatment 700kms from home and they refused to accept card

I have been here many times. The doctors and all the staff are amazing and actually very cordial to treat patients.All the in-house facilities for diagnosis and treatment make it one of the best hospital in Delhi.There is also a park nearby where majority of patients attendant can wait and relax.The multilevel parking and cafe area are also cool to manage the crowd.The doctors at SGR are one of the best in the country and they make sure you get treated right.

With personal experience I am giving this rating. We went to hospital for our 2 years old son's treatment. On 1st visit Doctor's behaviour was so perfect that we thought we are now in right place and in right hand. Doctor suggested for surgery and asked to do it immediately within 2, 3 days of time. We agreed. We visited on surgery day and surgery got completed. Post completion, we asked several questions in response to doctor's explanation on surgery which was actually not completely matching the initial explanation. Instead of calmly response doctor start behaving aggressively. Since then he has not visited us during more than 1 day of hospitalisation. No one cared to inform Post hospitalization medication and look after process.. For billing, room etc it is complete heck of the task. You loose almost all energy to complete formalities and coordination between one department to another. No courtesy from staff to help you. And lastly, commercials are also not cheap.

At amount of 2000 rupees i have been booking especial online OPD ticket on 10 Feb 22 at Dermatologist Dept. Room No G-9 for a skin problem of my 9 years old daughter. But the consultant Dr even doesnt touch the patient and it behave just like a enemy is beyond her line😥

Great Doctors Great innovative facilities But lot of time wastage in Documentation , file processing etc. Lot of manual work done in writing which can be avoided by making the processes computerized. It is like sarkari hospital. Not easy to get the room here. But doctors are nice, helpful and have the confidence of making patient healthy again

One can get comparatively better health services and treatment here, in Delhi. The cost is also low. The nearest metro station is Karolbagh in the blue line. Connectivity by public transport is also good. Our experience is pretty good there. Highly recommended hospital regarding children's issues also. Consultants are very caring.

In 2019 we came and met with Dr.Abha Majumder..to this hospital for IVF and got our first baby in a very first attempt.our experience was so good. the staff (Mr.Ajay Kumar Very helpful person)is very well experienced and so helpful that's why we came here second time in 2023 now with a hope for second IVF treatment. Room not available even for a 2month old child, suffering from high infections. Have to keep and treat her in sharing beds. Its been more than 3 days and many more to come. God bless her in such situations.

One word - Pathetic. Doctors are good but the facilities are so bad that even a healthy person will fall sick. For admission you may have to wait till midnight even though your admission time is mentioned 1pm. Strategy is that they will charge the previous patient for whole day, will admit new patient around 11pm (after making them wait for 10 hours) and will charge you as well for whole day. So this is like double payment for 1 day and new patient paying full amount for 1 hour stay (11pm-12am). Even though the previous patient is discharged, room won't be allotted on tine. A strategic, well managed scam in these facilities here.

Worst experience in this hospital they are just running business. They are using penal beds for pvt. patients. All gyane Dr. Just manipulating the penal patients and arrange their beds for pvt patients. My wife delivery took place on 29.7.23 at 11:am and they keep both babies and patient in recovery room more than 7 hours just for to use our bed for someone else. This is happened when our dr. were HOD of the gyane department. My suggestion is to all keep ur treatment away from this hospital if u r under non cash facility.

Service’s are good but maintain some decorum,try to maintain some less walk-in inside hospitals..with one patient there are four to five people,Becoz of that there is too much noise..seems there is some party happening every one is walking and making group..stop doing that it’s and hospital

Today was worst experience of my life with gangaram my wife was admitted in gyane department for 6 days for which hospital has charged me 185k .They have looted us they have charged all the medicine on mrp and unbelievable was the have charged baby wet wipes 500rs and iv cannula 500rs which was easily available in market around 200. The staff have changed 11 iv cannula in 5days. When we asked for discount they said its has 120 bed charitable so that means they use our money for charity got credit themselves. Unnessacry visits by doctors which cost us 1300 per visit . The doctor herself said my fess is 16000 but they charged 21000 for c-section on which we have to 35 % of anesthesia and 75% of OT . The billing department was not cooperative at all. The doctor have itself said c-section delivery cost around 125k that cost me 60k more . I am very disappointed with hospital

My name is L Nirmala Devi from Manipur. I heard that Sir Ganga Ram hospital is the best hospital in Delhi. I visited the hospital on 25 January after my prolong uti problem with full hope of getting cured. i entered your opd medicine and was checked by Dr Wali. Instead of checking my problem in the hospital itself he called me at his residence and treated me with injections whose name i'm not aware of. I requested him of the name of those injections but he was hesitant to tell me and said they were given to boost the immunity. I thought that he will deal with my UTI problem 100% and i returned back to Manipur. i have taken all the prescribed medication but i'm writing this today because my problem came back even after a month of treatment. I am writing this long review to aware the public of my discomfort and to think twice before referring to any doctor so that they don't suffer the same fate as me. Thank you

I along with my husband went to Ganga Ram Hospital in emergency. The doctors are highly qualified and experienced. The staff is cooperative. I want to specially thank Sh. Ravinder Kumar Sn. Patient care coordinator who helped, guided and provided excellent care to the patient. 🙏

Good in treatment but zero in administration do not properly interview candidates during hiring for TPA(insurance) process. Today doctor gave discharge at 11am the TPA department billed it at 2pm after i got angry at them then at 3pm i got approval from my insurance company and my insurance company queried for KYC of policy holder at 3pm but the person who was attending me at TPA told me about KYC at 6pm and that too after i got angry and then after he do not properly take proper photo of the identity which was to be submitted then due to the fault of the administration my discharge got delayed and that thing also the person was not telling my husband talk very badly to him then he told us about that then the shift was changing and it took 1 hour delay again for 3 hrs and it made me 9pm to leave the hospital which could be done at 4 if the person has not made just a foolish mistake.

Today, I visited the emergency ward of the so esteemed Sir Gangaram Hospital but it apparently lacks the basic etiquettes that any other hospital would have. A female friend of mine wanted to get a tetanus shot, the nurse used no curtains and pulled her sweatshirt down without her permission in front of the entire crowd. My friend was embarrassed as everybody was looking at her but the entire staff had no clue of how lowly their ethics were. Extremely disappointed!

I had good experience at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. I had to visit emergency wing of the hospital. To be honest, the place is crowded. But the doctor and staff are helpful. I found the staff of hospital very professional and assisting in all manners. In particular, Shri Ravinder, Sr. Patient Care Coordinator was very helpful in providing proper information and guidance for my treatment.
