The
general
opinion
that
had
been
going
around
about
the
condition
of
hospitals,
the
poor
or
unavailability
of
Oxygen/medication,
the
poor
response
and
care
provided
to
COVID
patients
in
these
hospitals
was
very
scary.
Hence,
I
was
extremely
anxious
and
scared
when
I
had
to
get
admitted
to
a
hospital
for
COVID-19
treatment.
I
was
admitted
to
Medeor
Hospital,
Qutab
Institutional
Area,
where
I
was
in
the
COVID
ICU
and
the
ward
for
11
days.
To
my
very
pleasant
surprise,
my
experience
at
Medeor
turned
out
to
be
contrary
to
the
prevalent
views
about
the
condition
of
COVID
hospitals
in
general.
The
management
and
the
team
of
doctors
must
be
credited
for
doing
something
extra-ordinary
in
that
every
member
of
the
staff
at
Medeor,
be
it
sisters,
brothers,
sanitation
staff,
lab
staff,
canteen
staff
supplying
food
for
the
patients,
etc.
attended
to
the
patients
with
utmost
dedication
and
devotion.
Never
even
once,
irrespective
of
time
of
day/night,
did
any
of
the
staff
members
respond
without
an
untiring
and
smiling
face
and
tremendous
enthusiasm
and
energy.
It
appeared
that
each
staff
member
had
made
it
a
personal
goal
and
mission
to
see
that
every
patient
was
made
comfortable
and
discharged
at
the
earliest
possible.
The
food,
tea,
milk
provided
was
not
just
good,
it
was
great
and
in
sufficiently
abundant
quantity.
While
every
staff
member
of
the
hospital
was
like
God
to
me
and
my
fellow
patients,
I
would
like
to
mention
a
few
names
whose
attitude,
dedication
and
efficiency
deserve
a
special
mention:
Mr.
Rahul
(Brother
in
the
ICU),
Mr.
Pawan
(Brother
in
the
ICU),
Mr.
Deepak
(Brother
in
the
ICU)
and
Mr.
Sameer
(ICU).
I
consider
myself
to
be
truly
blessed
to
have
got
the
services
of
such
wonderful
doctors
(Dr
A
P
Mishra,
Dr
Upali
Nanda,
Dr
Bakshi
and
Dr
Rahul)
and
staff
at
Medeor
hospital,
Qutab
Institutional
Area,
New
Delhi.
Each
one
of
them
is
a
hero
and
I
am
extremely
grateful
to
each
one
of
them.
