ILBS is one of the finest hospital for liver related diseases in North India. It is leading institute having Padmshri Dr S K Sareen as the pillar of the institution. It is a autonomous institute but even being under government net it is really hard to digest its very costly treatment....... Can you imagine that one day treatment can be as high as Rs 35,000 daily expenses . So if you are not medically insured then you are going to be in financial trouble for sure . Thats the huge difference that makes AIIMS a lifeline for common and poor peoples..... Do any competent authority is listening this.

I would give zero stars to the emergency of this hospital, as the doctors in the emergency are not good ,proper care is not given and the staff is rude. But in the wards it is exactly opposite, the staff is too good, you get proper treatment and full attention is given to the patient. Rooms are too good. Treatment wise it is the best hospital for liver. Overall it was quite good but due to the emergency I will give 3 stars.

Please! I insist to hear me out before you choose this hell hole for the care and treatment of your patient, I have lost my father after following up for 5 years and they didn’t do a thing for his liver transplant they will stall your time and worsen your patient’s condition, After all that i still didn’t realise how dark the things were at ILBS my younger brother needed a liver transplant i trusted them he was stable and well, i got him admitted here in HDU for one and a half month and he needed an urgent liver transplant but they barely did anything in that regard but kept worsening his condition and racked a lot of bills with unnecessary tests in the mean time i realised that almost everyone i talked to the people who were admitted there in HDU did not make any progress but most of them did not make it alive outside, their main unique selling point is there affordable price for liver transplant which 99.9 percent people will not receive they will just admit the patient and prolong the treatment until one passes away. I am very serious and this is not one isolated case but i talked to around 100’s of people and everyone goes thru the same fate. Luckily i got my younger brother discharged against the doctor’s advice and took him to Fortis hospital, Noida and got his liver transplant done within 5 days under Dr.Vivek Vij they took my case on priority basis and today he is recovering and doing well. So please do not go here it’s a sincere request if you want to save your patient’s life.

I went here for my father, he is suffering from liver cirrhosis, I am surprised to see this is a semi government hospital 🏥, staff is very polite, management team is active, all r properly dressed, vallet parking is available. Everything is systematic and very quick. Dr. will listen you patiently and suggest what to do soon. But I found test and medicine were expensive, though consultation fees is not too much. I m quite impressed with this hospital. I recommend if any person is suffering from liver disease, then this is the right place.

Worst experience...loss of money for nothing in return... My father is suffering from liver cirrhosis... He went walking in the hospital with only one concern of increasing bilirubin but came out with loss of sensorium and Acute Kidney Injury... Not recommended... Worst experience... Dr. Sarin is known to be one of the best doctor but he doesn't visit his own patients for 2-3 days.... You can not reach him easily or even the other doctors... This institute might be good for study and research.... But this hospital is worst for treating the patients and get them recovered.... My father came walking but I had to get him out in ambulance... Worst experience ever in a hospital and NOT RECOMMENDED.... DONT GO BY THE NAME OF DR. SARIN... HE WONT TREAT YOUR PATIENT HIMSELF...

Most horrible experience. The entire hospital is revolving around Dr. Sarin. Our appointment was at 10 42 AM, yes the level of precision is amazing, but the doctor came to the OPD AT 3PM. We were lucky that we had breakfast and came, there were few people who came without eating anything, just in case they might need to do some tests. Imagine their plight, having to sit empty stomach all the way till 3 in the afternoon, when your health is already not good. It's not a govt hospital. Prices are extremely inflated , and they don't believe in reports done by any other place, they'll ask you to repeat all the tests. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE PLAGUE!!

I got to know about this hospital in Covid Pandemic as it was declared as Plasma Bank by Govt. Of Delhi NCT. It was surprising to see a government hospital so well maintained and hygienic. If any one has recovered from Covid, they can donate plasma in exchange of plasma for your patient or just to save someone’s life unknowingly. A great initiative indeed with very less formalities and a polite staff.

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a mono-superspeciality hospital for liver and biliary diseases located at New Delhi, India.[1] It has been established by the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi as an autonomous Institute, under the Societies Registration Act - 1860, at New Delhi[2] with Shiv Kumar Sarin as its founding director.[3] ILBS is a teaching hospital and has been given the status of Deemed University by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Worst hospital. They do not care about patient health. They just need money. They will make lakhs of bill on daily basis and after spending lakhs patients will not survive. They just do different expirements on patient in order to teach there staff and students. I lost my mother because of hospital negligence. If you really care about your dear ones, please do not take them to ILBS hospital else you will end up losing them.

Doesn't seem that they are putting much efforts towards curing the patient instead it seems that they are just experimenting and are not in any mood of showing some care or empathy towards the patient. The survival rate is not an encouraging number as it was not a single patient rather casualties were atleast two on the daily basis. I hope and pray for the patients admitted there to be healthy and if possible please refer to other hospitals.

Very slow process and staff is not at all respectful. Doctors and Surgeons there to make his business he don't care about your health, directly suggest come fast tommorow we will transplant your liver. We went to surgeon for some other health problem and he just straightaway advised to transplant liver without any reason. It's been 3months And no benifit no growth of health only downfall. I'll suggest if get yourself treated from some other hospital. Otherwise you will loose lakhs of money and your health will be more down after loosing time and money as well.

Worst Hospital, you will find Butchers with medical degrees in this hospital. They never thought of patient. This hospital should be closed immediately. I had taken my father to this hospital in emergency, as my father was terminally ill so they ask me that we have to put him in HDU for which I had given consent, then they ask me to put him on ventilator with immediate effect when I ask duty doctor the why do you want to put him on ventilator when SPO2 is 98 then she don't have answer and she ask me to give her in writing that I said no to ventilator support..but No justification was given. Then for 2 days he got admitted in HDU where they did n number of pathology test which were not at all required as my father was not there for treatment.. I don't belive they did TB test on terminally I'll patient. Then my father was put on NORAD (@6) as his BP was low and to maintain BP they have to do this. Then they recommend dialysis to my father as creatinine was 4.5, then I ask nephro doctor that why he want to take risk of doing dialysis if BP is low..it may be Life threatening..The he said yes it may be but we need to take risk..then I ask him that do you know that my father is on palliative setting..after this he don't have answer...after seeing all this today I discharge my father on LAMA from ILBS, and I got biggest shock in ambulance when I saw that BP & saturation was normal that too without NORAD & Oxygen support (enclosing pic of ambulance) during entire journey from Vasant kunj to Greater Noida. I don't know where our Healthcare is going, specially Hospitals like ILBS and doctors like Dr S k Sarin..what they want to prove and what they are going to do with the money which they earn from the dead bodies. During my these 2 days stay in ILBS, I had seen many patient in HDU area who sold there houses or jewellery etc just to make payment to ILBS hospital as there patient is on VENTILATOR. My biggest question is do they really need ventilator.. .or we all are just paying for extra ventilators which Dr Sarin had procured for his hospital. I sincerely request honorable chief minister of delhi, Mr Arvind Kejriwal to look into the matter as this hospital is in jurisdiction of delhi Govt.

    (Translated by Google) This is my personal experience .. Dr. Dipti is good but his husband is GREEDY It was good to have a hospital hospitalized but since the fat bear came, he writes a test of waste in the hospital and makes effort to admit it. Doctor Dipti is not speaking anything about her pressure. But the other doctor who had to sit with the doctor did not take treatment from him, he had written my wife a tablet which is dangerous in pregnancy. And that tablet also asked to eat in the evening 3 days in the evening. When I checked at the Internet and got dug out, I came to know that theft has started now. I now have a doctor change. And I have the proof of that tablet. Bhai survived the escape then survived (Original) This is my personal experience.. doctor deepti is good but her husband is GREEDY. please check all the medicines before intake...

Very bad hospital for treatment of liver diseases, my father was seeking treatment for liver cirrhosis here and they never recommended liver transplant when he needed one, Dr Sarin has no time to look after his patients, he has a bunch of young and less knowledgeable doctors under him which keep on changing and don't even know how to diagnose a patient and provide treatment. His liver kept failing and they never recommended liver transplant when they should have and he ultimately passed away, May Dr. Sarin suffer and rot in he'll, he is just concerned about his image and giving interviews, never visit ILBS, Delhi else you will end up losing your loved ones. I hope people would agree with me

Currently booster dosage center is running here . System is really smooth

I’ll start with the management, totally waste of time. Manage sucks real time. Guys there who are taking calls they consider themselves as Superior to any one in the hospital, they are rude and disrespectful to the people on calls and asking for help. OPD process only takes 4-5 hours , that’s just the wait time here. I’ll talk about sisters, they consider them as doctors and I’ve seen the way EWS patients are treated, and they if I’ll quote a word they treat them like they are doing a favour. My dad has liver cirrhosis and his hernia ruptured, tapping is needed asap and that brainy nurse asked us to come on the appointment day which is after more than 20 days. Is she going to be responsible if anything happens????? They treat patients and their attendant as they are nothing. My dad hernia was leaking and we were made run here and there. My dads cloths were all wet for the whole day. Then they didn’t have a certain syringe to stich the wound. This took whole long and my dad lost his muscle mass. And it all happened in their emergency. Making peace and name out people Misery They doctor is nice he helps a lot. I wish to get this escalated soon.

It is said to be sponsored by government but it is more expensive than any private hospital. Senior Doctors are full of ego minded and no clear explaination. Nothing is free. Minimum expenses will not be less than 10k. Procedure is too lengthy. I won't recommend this hospital for treatment of any middle or lower class people.

D grade service the two lady sitting on the counter don't have any manner how to talk with there patient. At 1st i had to wait fir 10-15mins at the counter to make slip and when my turn comes she refuses to make my slip by saying they don't have 500's change 1st go and bring change. Is this the manner to behave. And one of the lady is standing there laughing and talking... And the another lady is working like hell slowly... And when i told her if you don't have any change then keep the swiping machine here then she told me ma'am then we'll charge 2% extra and finally after good 20-25mins she made my slip by making payment with the help of swiping machine (2% extra). I recommend do not go there because it's just a waste of time. They don't value there patient time. Ek no. Ghattiya hospital

I liked the overall environment and the way doctors and other staff people behaves with the patient and with the people. I met and discussed with the head CMO sir there twice and thrice and I liked the way they meet and explain the things to me regarding the patient health and medication. Thanks for the good environment and the minimal cost facilities.

Horrible Experience. This hospital might have been good when Dr Sarin was there, but now it is in worst condition. Extremely expensive, they keep the Patient in ICU and HDU for small issues, we felt that the Doctors currently there are less experienced and were unable to gain any confidence from us. Out treatment doctor was Dr Ayush. He was extreamly rude and was unable to explain us true reasons behind the complications and their next course of action. In one week the kept saying that my Aunt is not recovering and they kept her in HDU, while when we asked for discharge you guys won't belive she is fine and even didn't require oxygen as well. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone

Totally wasted of time in hospital, behavior of staff in billing is like govt hospitals.. Even doctors also behavior very badly and rudly ,they waste your time and money in hospital , doctor mainly interested in liver transplant cases in other cases they only time pass. Doctor also not take seriously outside examinations, always ask for ILBS examinations. It took me a while (almost 2 years) to write this review. What happened 2 years back completely jolted me. I lost my mother due to pancreatic cancer. Now that I am coming to terms with this, I am expressing my reviews on this hospital. I came here for a second opinion after my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. The treatment along with the diagnosis is good here. Unfortunately they couldn't save my mother due to the extreme disease but I am sure they would have tried their best. The surgeons are very knowledgeable and know their job really well Few things I would like to highlight which kind of triggered me:- - The Oncology Department needs major improvement with regards to how they treat the patient's attendents. The head doctor of Oncology is a very good doctor and she is very good with patients, but I am sorry to say she never comforted the relatives of the patient who are having the toughest time of their life seeing their loved ones on the verge of death. The other assistant doctors were also rude at sometimes when we used to ask questions about certain things. There were certain moments which were very jarring and disturbing. The doctors were at times very insensitive and disrespectful. They often used to snap at us if we were asking too many questions. How can someone do that, especially when someone's mother is dying. It was devastating. Cancer, is a deadly disease. It takes away everything from the patient and their families. All we wanted was a little comfort from the doctors. A warm behaviour matters the most. Again I would like to reiterate, I am grateful to all the Oncology doctors for the treatment they gave and the expertise they have in their field but As a doctor you should never lose sight of the humanity of your patients and the people who love them the most. I knew from the beginning that my mother doesn't have much time. I was living a nightmare which the doctors and their behaviour towards us made it worst. I would never recommend this hospital to any patient who has a terminal disease. Because the palliative care is much worse here than any other hospital. ILBS if you are reading this review, please it is my utmost humble request for you to please work on this. The ONCOLOGY DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO LEARN HUMANITY!

It is one of the most worst hospital. Please don't go there else you will lose your money as well as your patient. We have lost of patient and 22 lacks as well. They are not providing the treatment and doctors are not coming on time. Dr. Rakhi was treating our patients. They have wasted our time and money and eventually discharged the patient and very next day he couldn't able to survive. They will not give you the update on your patient, they only here for money and at the end you will receive the dead body. So please don't go there.

They killed waking patient by putting on ventilator. The worst emergency hospital in the world .If you want to kill your patient pls get admitted as soon as possible. They put ventilator and given some medicine of of BP after that BP could not be controlled. They only make money and play with the emotions.Staff behaviour is rude and they are always ready to hand over the patient to the attendent.
