It's a beautiful place overlooking the lake. Ideal for an evening stroll. Also It can be a great place for selfies against the backdrop of beautiful looking monuments and well maintained lawns.

An erudite man, Feroz Shah Tughlaq had the foresight like Egyptian Pharoah's to start the construction of his tomb while he was alive. Construction started in the 1350's CE and it was finished by the time he dies in 1388 CE. His tomb forms the junction of the two wings of the Madrasa he had set up. An inscription informs us that his tomb was repaired in 1508 CE by Sikander Lodhi. Entrance is within the Hauz Khas village and entry ticket for Indians is set at ₹25/adult. Well paced pathways and there's even a restroom within the complex.

The pulse of Hauz Khas is known to be the historically important Hauz Khaz Complex. It exhibits both rural and urban atmosphere and also known as mehak ka chota quila. The location is surrounded by Green Park to the west and Gulmohar Park towards the north. It had witnessed different diplomatic missions like the Albania, Iraq, Guines, Burundi, Macedonia Missions and more.

Don't forget to visit Feroz Shah Kotla Fort if you are coming to Delhi. Spread across such a huge area. Some places inside the arena are closed for general public due to some restoration works after the lockdown. A very beautiful place and a must visit place. Entry fee is 25-30 Rs and is worth it.

It is a good place to visit. From June 2019 this place now has ticket system. It is ₹25 per person. Visiting on weekday is recommended so that you don't have to bear the crowd which comes in your photos every second 😂. Overall a good place but not as awesome as others like Humayun's Tomb. If you have visited most of other monuments in Delhi then definitely visit this one also.

Firuz Shah (r. 1351-88) of the Delhi-based Tughlaq dynasty is known for having built various schools, religious establishments, and earthworks. His tomb is in the middle of a madrasa he commissioned, overlooking a tank of water known as Hauz Khas. The tomb's plain style is faithful to the austerity of much of Tughlaq building. The simple 15 foot square structure is built of ashlar walls finished with lime plaster with arched entrances and merlons along the parapet. Above the parapet rises an octagonal drum, which supports a shallow and slightly pointed dome. The north and west of the tomb are contiguous with one of the wings of the madrasa. To the east are several chattris, small domed structures supported by pillars, which house tombs of saints and religious teachers. The tomb has a low platform to the south that is enclosed by a graceful stone railing.

👍👍 Built in the 14th century CE possibly by Khan-E-Jahan (General) Malik Maqbul Tilangani of the Delhi Sultanate. This is Delhi's second largest mosque and older than the Jama Masjid by about 300 years. Built of Delhi quartzite, the Mosque and its surroundings have with stood the ravages of time. It's...
