Iconic hexagonal midcentury dining room, designed by Joseph Allen Stein, and overlooking Lodi Gardens. Multi-cuisine menu, but go for the Indian food. Don’t miss their fish tikka, or the honey & fig ice cream. Excellent Indian breads and gulab jamun. Kitchen is a bit slow.

It's a beautiful and sophisticated place. You can visit the club and the restaurant only if you are a certified member. Peaceful, serene place with well behaved staff, and great food!

The vegetarian continental food in iic has been inedible for too long. I wonder how long it will continue to ride on its reputation... Their interpretation of anything vegetarian is to stuff it with paneer whether that cuisine has ever even seen or used paneer. They freely 'interpret' recipes to re-use leftovers from their indian meals and it shows. As a result, whatever you order tastes like daal sabzi. I'm going to stick to their fig and honey icecream and stop eating meals there.

The selection of desserts is different from the usual run of the mill choices obtained at other places. Fig and honey ice cream and caramel custard are an all time favourite. A favourite haunt of bureaucrats, intellectuals, authors, personalities in creative arts, academicians, etc. and people with similar interests, the dining hall is a hub for quiet discussions on a wide variety of topics. The entry to the dining hall is restricted to members only or accompanying guests. More often than not, in normal non Covid days reservations would be required if you wish to get a table without having to wait.

Very good ambience. Lot of old and retired people sit there to spend their time with friends, chat and enjoy snacks. Great hangout for them. Staff is very courteous and efficient.

Too slow service and has rules of the 19th century such as kids have to wear collared shirts.

The food is just okay, but the prices are really subsidised. It costed us around 4k for a 3 course meal of 9 pax. The ambiance is classy and the place is good for conversations. But the food was really not that good, just average.

Had dinner yesterday. Goan food festival. Ambience 4/5, gentry 5/5, food for the cost 5/5, service 4/5. Overall, a wonderful experience, will love to go again. In Goan food, fish curry, fish cutlet, mushroom curry, chicken preparation and a kokum flower curry can be had. Bloody Mary was reasonable.
