Hello everyone, I am Ajay Puri, one of the patients of Dr. Pankaj Walecha. I want to share my experience with my left knee pain, which was injured on a treadmill two years ago. I visited many orthopedics but there was no relief, although the x-ray report was clear, no issues were found. Then my father-in-law suggested to visit Dr. Pankaj once as I was fed up with this pain in the left knee and wasn’t able to do any exercise, especially wasn't able to do my morning jog & was feeling helpless and there was fear if this continues then what will happen. A big thanks to Dr. Pankaj as on the very first visit he advised me to get the MRI done for the left knee & clearly told me that there is a meniscus tear that cannot be cured by any medicines as we need to get the surgery done. We had a quick plan to get this done by Saturday, 28th of August 21, without any more delays. The best part was that he was very helpful and kind enough to arrange everything from admission to discharge from the hospital. Dr. Pankaj gave me numbers for all the concerned teams and it was simply done. On the 28th, it operated without any issues, and I was able to walk in the evening, whereas earlier I had read on some Google websites that it would take at least a week to walk. On the 29th, I was discharged from the hospital. As I said, being able to walk without any issues doesn’t mean I can do anything, but I was happy that I was not dependent on others. Within two weeks, it was much better and almost recovered. Within four weeks, I was able to walk normally again and started my office work too. Within 6 weeks, I forgot about my pain and started driving again. I am now enjoying my morning walk and will start jogging soon. However, you will get some guidance from Dr. Pankaj in between on the exercises to follow for quick recovery and, if required, to take some vitamins also. I really thank Dr. Pankaj and his team for providing such kind support. I believe genuine concern for patients is always appreciated.
