Hotel

😠 The owner Samir is an eccentric guy who is a drug addict and is completely insane. He is abusive and has a history of misbehavior with the staff and guests including "women". A complete NO to the place. There is a pool table which u can't use. The whole place is full of mosquitoes, huge probability... People often mention Delhi, good, hostel,

Not that much great. The rooms have a particular smell. They even took money from us for a hookah device which was not properly made after which I had to ask them to refund me the money back. The location is pretty good though. It's a little away from city so you can go here to relax. But if you're in Delhi for sightseeing, don't go here as it's difficult to get around places from here. The breakfast provided is not that great either.

Not that clean and tidy as expected . In photos it was very nice . But our expectation was very wrong . The rooms are stinking . The complementary breakfast was something for a name . It was said that they will on the AC at 9pm but only after 11 they switched it on.the only things that I see good there is that we very able to find some good people as in every other backpackers hostel. In my view it is not a good area for family and children . The area look terrific .

A complete NO to the place. There is a pool table which u can't use. The whole place is full of mosquitoes, huge probability of getting dengue or malaria. Electric circuits are in a mess. Linen are filthy. The blankets haven't been changed since donkey's years. Just one word, "AVOID". NOTE :- THE HOSTEL IS RUNNING ILLEGALLY WITH NO DOCUMENTATION, FIRE SAFETY OR ANY AMENITY.

It is a very nice area and the hostel could really be a first class one. But you just feel that the love that was put into it in the past is not put into it anymore. Be also aware that the hostel is in a pretty remote area. Anywhere you wanna go it takes at least 25 mins. It took us 1h to get there from the train station - with no traffic. So ypu should definitely keep the location in your mind when booking. 😊 Anyway the staff was very nice and the rooms where clean. ✌

Good host, I wish all the hotels had the same roots, fresh, calm, away from city sound pollution, clean, pricy food, comfy bed, stayed in dorm, safe, secure, laptops were lying around without camera supervision but still there was an aura of trust around the premises, I usually take my backpack to the washroom of safety concern but here I felt like I was home, truly a Backpackers place,. low cost, high value, I hope that they always get like minded customers only. Here I was surrounded by an artistic creativity throughout the premises. Thanks.. 😊

Best hostel by far in Delhi. Stayed here for weeks and forgot I was even in Delhi. Everyone there was warm and welcoming and gave me great tips and advice for traveling through India. Highly recommend for anyone come to India for any length of time.

Amazing place, full of travellers ready to share experiences and inspiration. Also very quiet, away from the crazy sound of Delhi. Sameer is the perfect host, Ashok and Vimal the best cooks and friends!! If you're passing through Delhi you must stop at the roots (you might wanna book one more night ..trust me).

Woww.. the best hostel ever in delhi. Food is so good and cheap. I can eat all day long. There is no traffic problem. You can enjoy the loud music and can watch movies. Place is super clean and cooler compared to other places. If you want to really live out of all traffic and noisy environment, then go for it. I have spended week here, staff are so good. Its completely home environment. Kitchen is so awesome, you don't need to go anywhere outside searching for food like animals 😂. Place is quiet and they have billiards, carrom, shuttle to enjoy the break. I will definitely suggest you

Roots hostel in New Delhi is an amazing place surrounded by greenery. It's a vibrant, affordable, accessible place to stay in Delhi. It's very clean and comfortable with pool table, badminton, basket ball, plunge pool and movie nights for entertainment. You can't miss the pucca desi grubs by its chef. Excellent.

Management is very unprofessional. There was confusion with the beds, twice. Food is pretty expensive. Transportation is very poor. Not possible except using Uber/Ola, some cabs cancel as well if not nearby. But being out of the way has its charms of being surrounded by solitude. The atmosphere is healing and place is beautiful. Amazing pick if one wants to relax.
