Heistel Delhi cons: 1. To start with, the place gave major major bad vibes the moment I stepped in the place. 2. The person at reception was not welcoming and rude. 3. The condition of room and bathroom was pathetic. (Pictures attached) 4. So these days, hostels have this new trend going on I guess, where, they have private rooms/dorms with and without attached bathroom. While this didn’t quite sit well with me but I accepted the fact, that this maybe new norm. But what’s not acceptable is the pathetic dirty condition of common bathrooms. (Pictures attached) 5. Apparently, they’d give food service to those guests that are staying in private rooms, so despite of being staying in private room, the food service was denied because they’re short on staff but just half hour back from that incident, i myself saw the person coming to serve a foreigner and when confronted, they’d say there’s language barrier. Unjustified reason for a guest paying money for private rooms where they offer all such said services. 6. THE PLACE GAVE SUCH BAD, NEGATIVE, SCARY VIBES. Bold and clear. 7. The place in general was dirty. 8. It gave such bad vibes, I would want to come to the hostel only to sleep and fresh and stay out rest of the time. That too because I paid and had no other option! 9. The people sitting at reception were less informed about the major happenings of their own city. 10. Luring customers into giving them private rooms when they booked dorms and not clarifying at the same time that the private room doesn’t come with attached bathroom is not a sign of good host. 11. Food was 2/5 All in all, I would rather pay a little extra and stay in clean and nice bnb or good hotel than waste my money on this hostel. 12. Bathroom tap was not in good condition and gutter had clogging issue. Water would subside eventually but while bathing, if the shower goes on even for 5 mins, the water would start filling in their super tiny COMMON bathroom. Heistel Delhi pros: 1. closer to Saket metro station.

The location of this hostel is just a few walks away from the Saket metro station. The rooms are not that clean but the bed was properly made and looked clean. The washrooms are cleaned daily and is one of the things i liked about it. It passed the vibe check as well as they have quite a terrace space with a pool table and seating arrangements. Its pleasant at terrace at night despite a 45 degree Celsius fiery day. There are 2 things i didn't like, one is that they turn off the AC's in the daytime. Secondly, the wifi speed is not that good, the bandwidth fluctuates so randomly that you end up with a bad connection, I'll upload 2 photographs of speed test which were taken an hour apart. You can decide for yourself. However, I'll still recommend this place for a long duration as well as the host is humble and the location is prime plus the vibe matters.

The best thing about this place is the location as its by the metro Other than that the staff were rude, noisy and unhelpful. The first night we arrived they put us in a budget double sharing a bathroom with a dorm instead of the deluxe double we had booked. But didn't give us a discount. The bed sheets had stains you would associate with a teenage boy. I know it's India and the bedding is normally a little stained but that was disgusting. No toilet paper despite asking a few times and being told they would get it from the shop. If you're put in a room by reception be prepared to stay up into the night as they are so noisy playing music out of their tinny smart phone speakers. No consideration for paying guests.

My stay was good here. Best thing about this hostel is it's nearby metro and outside there are many food options. Every necessary things can get easily nearby this hostel. It's budget friendly, they also provide food in good rate for all 3 times. Food was tasty😋.

Excellent location, in the heart of Delhi..., with spacious room and co-operative staff. On top of that, a magnificent view from roof top cafe is mesmerising... Highly recommend...

I had an amazing time in Heistel. Been there a lot of times whenever I come to Delhi for work and travel. This is my go to place. The staff is good and very friendly and its one of the budget hostels. The best part is the location! So nearby to Metro and popular places in Delhi.

Please bring your own small lock for cupboard Pros - 24*7 entry exit, 5 min walk from saket metro gate no. 2 (baby joy wali gali), good for small budget single people travelling alone, security guard, lift, private lamp in dorm bed and charging point Cons - dorm is spacious with attached bathroom but it's not so clean, so much litter under the bed and no jhaadu pochha, bathroom is good but could be better, dorm door is kept open - it is shut but not latched, ac temp and fan speed were controlled by other dorm-mates and they didn't ask anyone about it, there were hair on my bedsheet and pillow and it seemed like it wasn't changed/washed after the previous guest left. Overall it's a good budget place for spending few nights when you have some work in Delhi.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. The staff were incredibly helpful and generous. Also, I think, it is the most budget friendly stay in Delhi.

Amazing place to stay, especially the location. Few steps from a metro station. The best thing is the price of property. Very cost effective and staff is super friendly. Overall it's an amazing property to stay and worth the money.

The hostel is located right next to the Metro and has a fruit shake shop nearby (the mango shake is delicious!). The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff seem friendly and helpful. I was looked after when I had an unusual request due to timings.

Good ambience, friendly staff, there's a lift so quite usable for handicapped people. Walking distance from metro is a big boost, plus everything is available at ease due to accessibility to near market. User friendly environment starting from rooms to common areas, you can work comfortably with high speed internet. If called for ,staff is very approachable, so cheers to the whole team !!!

Just what we needed for our first night in Delhi. Spacious en-suite rooms at a reasonable price. It’s near the metro station, so easy to make it into town. And the area seemed safe. The rooftop terrace with pool table and ping pong is cool. Perhaps not the most sociable hostel for single travellers, but not an issue for myself and my girlfriend

I had an unforgettable stay at Heistel Delhi during my trip to India. After a disappointing experience with other hotels, I was relieved to find a place that not only met but exceeded my expectations. The reception staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and the daily cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms ensured a comfortable and hygienic environment throughout my stay. One highlight of Heistel Delhi was the option to enjoy affordable, delicious vegetarian meals upstairs. This convenience added a delightful touch to my experience. Additionally, the free WiFi offered during my stay was a great feature that allowed me to stay connected easily. They offered me an additional 6-hour stay free of charge to match my flight time. This gesture truly showcases their commitment to their guests’ comfort and convenience. Heistel Delhi comes highly recommended for a remarkable stay in Delhi. It's not just a hotel it's a home away from home.

Hello review Readers . Just recently lived here for 8 days. With the bottom of my heart I am saying It's a great place and the vibe is amazing. For 8 days I was just on rooftop playing snooker and the rooms and the things are the same you saw on photos....Hygiene was also good which I prefer the most where I live while travelling and 100/100 for the Hygiene.. Great shoutout to the Owner ... bhaiya it was amazing. I hope you remember ....bunk bed....

It was the worst place you could ever think of. Avoid staying there by all means, filthy. No room was booked on my first arrival, although I even confirmed my arrival time, over the 3 night I spent there everyday there was an issue First night they asked me to sleep in a mixed dorm instead of female dorm with 5 other guys and no curtains Second night faced the same issue and was forced to pay extra to get a room for myself Third night I was asked to move back to dorm although I paid for their mistake On my return late night the lift was not working and no sign whatsoever to say that there is any other way up to the hostel tgat I had to spend the night at a friend's home By all means the worst stay I've ever had in my entire life totally not recommended

I have loved each and every moment that I spent in Heistel! Although I was always out in Delhi most of the day, my favourite part was coming back to the hostel and seeing the cheerful smiles that greeted me as I entered. The dorms are really comfortable and the management is extremely supportive whenever an issue arises. I also met some really nice people from other parts of the world who quickly took a liking to the atmosphere of the hostel and we all were of the mutual opinion that everything is really well taken care of in the hostel and feels safe to be at this property. Really loved getting to know Kiran ma’am Vaibhav Bhaiya and Kapil Bhaiya. I’ve spent so much time with them and we’ve had some fun times. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Pathetic manager Vaibhav. First they will give you room then say there’s no room available when you want to extend. Bad service. You get nothing if you book the room. AC doesn’t work and if you tell them that the manager Vaibhav shows attitude. Not recommended.

i have been staying here since 2 weeks now. i wasnt even aware about the hostel or anything before so it has been new experience for me. the location is good you can pretty much find anything nearby only or with in the range. the ambience and vibe and experience has been good you get to meet new people, get to do new things so its also a added benift. must stay place, i would choose this place any time above others.

Great place if you like hostels for their purpose: to have a place to get easily in contact to people with nice common areas to work or/and to relax and supportive, easy going staff. They have a lift, too. So if you're handicapped this is a place for you, too. There's a lot of food markets around. So if you don't want to choose from the hostel's menu or to order you can get plenty of food close by.

I stayed for a night. I met very nice people in the dorm, the mattress and the bed were clean as well as the room but the bathroom could have been much cleaner and the staff was a bit sleepy I would say (I asked for a padlock with a key and the receptionist forgot about my request and then wasn't able to provide it).

Good place, have bunkers as well as Private rooms. For backpackers looking to stay at bunkers I'd recommend not to visit during Summers as it can get very hot in here. Rest all good.

😠 I was checking several PGs in Delhi and I visited this one because of high ratings. Turns out that all those were fake reviews. The PG is located in a real dark and dingy area. The rooms are like old style village rooms. They served food in polythene bags to the people live there. Frankly, any pg w...
