This post office has postal men an women misplacing/stealing packages ever sense hurricane Ida they're putting the package as being delivered or attempt delivered. Or it stays in a status saying package is running late for days after status saying it's going to be delivered on the same day then nothing is delivered. Then the status changes to it's on its way for days an still the post woman don't bring the package an is not delivering anything. She adding false delivery statuses to cover her tracks. I have shoes I've ordered an house decoration items still haven't delivered to my residence. I have cameras an would know if the post man delivered she don't deliver the packages at all they are stealing taking advantage of the storm hurricane Ida hitting New Orleans an think no one would go thru the proper channels to get a investigation done. But they have stolen the wrong person merchandise a whole bunch of the postal workers may need to be fired at the Lake Forest post office location. Update: Still haven't got my packages the mail carrier added a false pre-delivery false attempt delivery again she has not made any attempts to deliver an didn't leave a card for the attempt delivery an no confirmation on the next attempt delivery she can't because she never made the first attempt why? not leaving the pink postal note card so I can go to this location post office to pick up my package. why? is the reason for her not leaving a attempt delivery note card. I'll answer it's because she never tried to deliver she is stealing my packages. An how I know she is taking my packages because she has tried it already. Once I put in the investigation she gave my merchandise up. An a pair of shoes look to have been wore on the sole there's dirt from being walked in of the shoes also the packing was ripped open. If something don't get done about this/Lake forest postal location I'm going to file a police report on my items stolen by my mail carrier. I've went thru the proper channels already my next step is to call the police to get my packages.

There’s this girl that was driving truck 82181621235 today 12/30/20 at 3:30pm her name is Crystell. She passes my mailbox everyday because my vehicles, which are not blocking my box but on each side of the box but close. The reason being is because my entire street is being worked on. She said “it’s to her discretion if she should put mail in the box and she feels that she doesn’t need to because my box is blocked and the construction is on the other side of the street” she was and is very unprofessional. I have pictures and all of the construction site in front of my house and how my vehicles are both parked. Oh and I told her my wife (who’s 9 months pregnant) can’t walk that far and she said that’s a personal problem.

If your regular carrier is out, good luck getting your mail. And don't even think about calling to speak with a supervisor. I have done this twice (including today) when I had mail issues and each time I was promised a call back after she checked with the carrier [substitute carriers in each case]. I never received call backs. Received the first missing mail days later. Still waiting to find out if one of my neighbors have my mail from today or if it's just riding around in the mail truck or whatever. Makes me wonder how much mail went missing before Informed Delivery. The service is useless if the post office just shrugs their shoulder when your mail is not delivered. UPDATE: 11/20...still not getting my mail half the time. Over the past three weeks (including today) I have mail that I was supposed to have gotten that I never received. No use complaining because the manager does nothing about it.

I received an email stating my package was delivered at 3:22 p.m. on Saturday, 1/15/22. Since I was at home and no one knock on the door, I checked the mail box. There was nothing. I than checked the four cameras that I have on the front of my house. The cameras showed that the mail truck passed my home at 3:35 p.m. but did not stop. On Tuesday I called the Lake Forest P.O. twice. No answer. On Wednesday I went to the P.O. The lady that I spoke with took the tracking number and went to the back. She returned shorty and said that she tried calling the mail carrier but didn't get an answer. She took my number and said that when she speaks with the carrier she will call me back. I got no call. Thursday I went back to the Lake Forest P. O. I explained to another person what happened. She went into the back and returned shortly. The computers were down, the previous person that I spoke with was not in and she suggested that I call back later when the computers were working. I explained that I had done that twice before and no one answered. She than gave me another number to call to register my complaint. I called that number twice only to have to leave my name and number. I finally went online and called another number (not sure where it landed) and after pressing several numbers and leaving a message, someone called me back. The lady took my information and said that it will be investigated and I will be contacted in a few days. I should mention that each person that I spoke with was very polite and professional (though not very helpful).

I have been living here 3 years now. I have had mail and packages sent back to sender and not delivered to me at least 6 times. Saturday the 31st of December they didn't even try to deliver my package, I was home and even seen it on the truck. I thought she would bring it when she finished at the mailboxes, but she just put a note in my box and left, even though she had to pass my apt to get out of the apartments. And it was supposed to be redelivered Tuesday and it is still not here. Why can't I receive my mail? I've been waiting for meds that was supposed to come last week from the VA Hospital.

This branch postal service is terrible. They didn’t deliver my package on the day that is suppose to deliver. Then I received a message saying that they couldn’t complete my delivery packages and that they will it hold it for me at the post office for me to be pick up. I went there try to pick up my packages. They told me that is on the truck and out for delivery. This is the third time they did this to me. Wasting my time going there to pick up for nothing. This third time, I have been waiting for two days for my packages to deliver and still my packages is not showing up at my door yet. This is ridiculous.

I had a package that was supposed to be DELIVERED on yesterday (7/24), however, the tracking says it has arrived for PICK UP. We paid for home delivery not USPS in-store pick up. When I called, I was told the driver had an accident but yet I had mail delivered the same day. Is it a different driver that delivers packages? I had a separate incident where they delivered one of my packages and marked the other (same size) for attempted delivery. How do you deliver one but not the other and it was literally at the same time? I don’t know why Amazon even partners with them since there’s always issues. Packaging tracking with the post office is like a full time job since there always seems to be issues. All I want is the SERVICE that is being PAID for!

I literally watched the mail carrier NOT PLACE MY PACKAGE IN MY MAILBOX AND MARKED IT AS DELIVERED IN MAILBOX. Blew my mind. Of course I was unable to contact anyone about it. So whoever the lady was(not normal carrier) got a brand new dress and shoes. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Guess it was considered a bonus.

If I could give no stars for the type of service from the Lakeforrest Office to the carriers, I got an alert that my package was delivered to my front porch on3/25 at 5:04, 1st off my Ring door camera didn't alert me like it did the exact same day as FedEx and UPS came, then I go on this past Friday for them to tell the same package that was never delivered was delivered on 3/28 to my mailbox which couldn't have been more of a lie because my mailbox can only receive letters and especially not a 5lb clothing package, then for them to call and tell me my package was delivered on 2 different days and then the lady was being very rude and wanted to know why I was getting loud and as I tried to explain to her ma'am how can 1 package be delivered to my front door on one day and then delivered to my mailbox 3 days later and I still don't have my package and then she said the carrier said she remembered it being a package which seemed like it may have been some tools and in order for me to prove anything I meet to bring my camera footage

My package is missing it’s saying someone picked up my package Saturday 3/4 at 6:04pm. How did I pick up my package if this location closes at 12pm on Saturdays. Where is my package it seems like it was misplaced or stolen.

I was very dissatisfied with the service I received via telephone from Ms. Leslie. She was very rude and very short, and hung up the phone on me. Needless to say, I called back and I asked if we were done because she hung up in my face. Upon calling back, she did say that she would refer my complaint to the inspector general. If I’m having a problem, I’m not looking to run into more problems or an attitude. That definitely doesn’t de-escalate anything. I’m very shocked as I normally commend this location for the awesome customer service. 😩😩😩😩😩

****URGENT.... URGENT ....URGENT******* Do NOT GO To This Location!!!!!!!! Worst place ever to handle a federal government’s simple responsibility of postal services! Not only was my package stolen out of the box 📦 but that’s not even the worst of it! I not only had an altercation with the employee so-called helping me but the female co-worker on side of her proceeded to provoke me while she was supposed to be helping another customer! Highly unprofessional people working in a federal government’s establishment! For me to have to argue with employees that not only are highly confrontational but unfit to be in such a profession. I also filed a complaint on this Postal location! Not only did I get a call from this Location, but the female only called to argue with me lying about resolving the issue but in all actuality only called to taint and be condescending towards me!!!! She also just called me while another lady in the background was instigating the issue even further then proceeded to hanging up in my face! I highly suggest this place be under investigation!!! This has gone on too long to have our community suffer from having our property taken from a supposedly trusted federal source! To have certain individuals in a position of customer service who don’t want to serve the customer in a decent manner, nor resolve any issue! This location brings great shame to our community and I will never send a package through them ever again!

This post office is full of thieves!!!! They have an organized theft ring going on. I have had mail delivered opened with contents missing and package cut open with all contents stolen from package. I only received an empty box…. The police need to investigate this post office location…

THEY STOLE MY PASSPORT. Tracking proved it arrived at this post office location, but they never delivered to me. I had to report it stolen….. UPDATE: I’m tired of “lost” deliveries after tracking says it arrived at this location. Going to start delivering to my mom’s house in another zip code.

I have so many missing packages with you people its not even funny. No one will help me. No one seems to know anything. There is no effort to find my packages and no accountability. What do I gave to do to get my stuff. It has been months.

Not only do you have to worry about ppl in your neighborhood stealing your packages, but you also have to watch out for your delivery drivers as well! My package was due to be delivered Sat morning, that day the delivery time kept getting pushed back and I already knew it was gonna be some funny stuff going on. I finally get a email stating that my package was delivered. Go to see and no package, look on USPS website and it says “package delivered and was picked up by individual from facility”. Which is odd because I literally was at home ALL day anticipating the arrival of my package. This has happened before and the delivery driver a just deliver it on Monday. Monday came and no delivery, so on Wednesday my off day I went down to the post office because of course the line is ALWAYS “busy” (off the hook). Wasn’t there my information was passed on to the supervisor for an investigation and was told they’ll contact me. Now it’s the end of the day Friday and still haven’t heard anything. GET IT TOGETHER!

Mail carriers are very lazy Lied about a pet interference and I don’t even own a pet never knocked on door to even attempt to deliver my package😡😡😡😡 Worst post office in the world! Phone number doesn’t work so there’s no one to talk to!

The phone is off the hook and my packages, which were re-routed to this post office via an updated address applied at the 70118 location, are suddenly missing.

This location stole my families packages, we tried to call and get them but we actually recorded the two black ladies who did nothing but yell and run their mouths actually saying that they were going to hide our packages and make them where we never got them back. ARREST these people!

I have been patronizing this branch for almost two years now. I'm always greeted by friendly employees. They have helped me save cost on numerous packages with suggestions. I haven't experienced pleasantries or suggestions on costs at any other post office.

My mall carrier stopped passing, and this post office never answers their phone.

This is the second time I scheduled a post office pickup and no one has picked it up. It’s really frustrating and messing up things with my business and my customers.

They are so sorry with over there really need to do better I have been waiting on the mail for like forever

Closed before closing hours. I was present at the door 4:25pm and they had already closed the public mailing office way before 4:30PM. We the public don’t have time and gas to waste. Stick to the time that is given to serve the public.

Again 8/5/2023 driver refuses to deliver to my apartment out of pure laziness. How can you deny a deliver because you can't fit a package in the mailbox. THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE FEET. They replaced my normal mailman with some new woman and it has been the worst experience of mail ever. I LOVE IT WHEN THEY HOLD MY FOOD ITEMS OVER THE WEEKEND BECAUSE THEY DON'T FEEL LIKE WALKING UP STAIRS. Won't make a attempt at delivering to my apartment complex on Sundays even though they have a access key and can get through the gates any other day of the week, delaying my orders.
