Great experience and enjoyable national park. Taking advantage of the winter season and it’s low occupancy, we dared to adventure the Niagara Falls. This was an outstanding visit and we got to enjoy a one on one type of tour with park staff down to the cave of winds (a must). The paid fee for this includes a detailed explanation of the Fall’s construction process and the Tesla discovery and implementation process of AC generation (fully recommended. It was a fairly cold 🥶 season but with proper clothes you should be ok even with walking around the open areas. The park is very well mapped and I advise stopping by the visitors center to get an updated map and walking indications to get to know the park better. Be aware on that during winter season, some deck and boat attractions are closed, including Lune island but waiting time are very much non-existing, in contrast of summer, when lines can take up to 4hours to complete.

The park on the USA side is beautiful that they have preserved the area right up to the falls as a park. The Canadian side looks like they have commercialized it that there's no park there just sight seeing tours, views, things to do. Which they also have on the USA side, but the ,USA has a walking trail with wooded areas around the park. We saw several people riding bikes, scooters, etc... to get around. Some brought their pets and was taking photo opts with them. Others had family, children, or friends with them and were doing the same. We spoke to a man that was here visiting from Australia and said they walked across the bridge to see from the Canadian side and paid nothing on the USA side but to return to the USA side they had to pay 1.00 to get back. The fireworks were nice, the lights on the falls at night are nice, and the cooler evening with the mist of the falls on your face was a nice change to the hot days from home. We saw solid black squirrels, and other wildlife, cherry trees and mulberry trees there on the trails, and other natural beauties.

Absolutely beautiful state park! One of our favorite places to visit in New York! Just as beautiful to explore during the night as it is during the day with less people out. The falls are lit up right now until 2am and change colors constantly... The kids love the light show! We tried the Maid of the Mist boat ride this time and highly recommend doing it while in the park for a new perspective of the falls... so much fun and be prepared to get wet! Also don't miss the observation deck or the path to the falls to view the falls after the boat ride... both totally worth it!

I’ve been to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls many times since I was a kid and it was only this October when I finally visited the American state park for the first time. It certainly won’t be my last! The state park is a lot more natural and tranquil than the glitzy commercialization on the other side. Although the view of the falls might not be as full as the Canadian side, it is just as impressive as you can get much closer to it on the broken bridge, which can be accessed for free after hours. Goat Island is a great place for a walk. It was easy to find parking, albeit that was probably due to my visit being in the afternoon of a chilly late October day. The one issue, though, was the difficulty of finding public washrooms in the later afternoon, after the visitor centres had closed. Some portable washrooms would have been helpful.

Very fun and informative park especially if you are visiting for the first time. It is different and a very pretty sight! There are some fun things to do as well. When we visited there weren’t many people. The walk is very peaceful and scenic around the park. Definitely recommend visiting!

I genuinely cannot describe how amazing my experience here was. The sights are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. There's so many little spots, it's pretty affordable (10-15 dollars for a days parking) as well as a trolley ride around the park for 3 dollars per person. I can't recommend this place enough, it was 100% worth the 4 hour drive. I was never a huge park enthusiast until I went here. I plan to go to other state parks because this kind of beauty genuinely is wonderful. The wildlife is pretty too. There's lots of squirrels, and the critters are friendly. One of them gave me a high five :)

Plan your time so you can see the falls with the lights at night. The next morning we returned to enjoy the attractions. There are multiple overlook areas. Check out the paved hiking trail along the rapids leading to the falls. The water is roaring by it's so powerful and dangerous. If you are taking the trolley for the transportation, it will save time walking. But, if you want to hear the tour.......good luck. The speaker is not audible with everyone talking around you. Park is clean. Plenty rocks or benches to rest and take in the views. Be sure to pay admission to walk out on the deck which gives you a better look at all the falls. Still the Canadian side has the best views but suprised how much we enjoyed this side of the falls too.A huge expanse of natural beauty, this oldest state park in the U.S. offers biking, fishing and cross-country skiing, and contains plenty of hiking and walking trails, including the Niagara Gorge Trail System, which affords great views of both the falls and the gorge

I went to Niagara falls in 2020 both winter and summer, This is one of the most amazing experiences in New York. The state park was clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of things to see and do in addition to marvelling at one of the wonders of the world. It sure is a natural wonder that is not to be missed! Nature really is mind blowing specially when you hear the sound of gallons of water going through rapids which such strength every second! We loved it and sure soaked in the beautiful scenery and the views of those gorgeous falls! At night time, there is a light show that goes on from 8pm to 2am. You see lights of different colors reflected into the Horseshoe Falls and these are seen by one of the sections close to the Cave of the Winds. You will love it and sure enjoy the experience! The Observation Tower is on the main area close to the town. If you stay in any If the hotels that are close by, the walk is about 8 to 10 min. Parking at the park is $10 (weekday) or $15 (Friday and weekends) in any of the 4 lots. There is a trolley that you can purchase tickets ($3) to take you from the island to the observation tower. Good option if you don't want to be walking around all day. The Observation Tower costs $1.25 and you can see both the Horseshoe Falls and American Falls. The Maid of the Mist boat trip and the Cave of the Winds are extra and you can do them separately or in a package. We saw people getting soaked, so be prepared to be wet! This is one of the other best experiences I had in the USA. see the beautiful Niagra Falls up close and personal. We were so blessed to be able to get the last boat tour of 2020. We were not aware of their schedules. So we were happy we went there at the nick of time. We stayed there until night time. We had a lot of pictures taken. Niagara Falls was powerfully beautiful. It was mesmerizing.

We got the Discovery pass online for $45 which included - Cave of the winds, Maid of the Mist boat tour, unlimited Trolley ride and few other attractions like Aquarium and Adventure Theatre. Make use of the Trolleys to conserve energy as you would have to walk a lot. The park was neat and well maintained. It was a surreal experience to see Niagara falls up close. This is a must visit place for sure.

Not only are the falls beautiful, but the entire park is full of beautiful places to stop and enjoy nature. The falls overlooks get crowded, but there are so many other pretty spots near rivers and on islands to get away and listen to the water and watch the waves if crowds aren't your thing! Restrooms were all open today (an off-season weekday), although the falls overlook restaurant was closed and some of the little food stands were closed. There are overlook parking lots along the river that seem to get less crowded than the general lots if you're up for walking (no charge to park at those, I'm not sure about the general lots). There's a trolley ($3 for adults and $2 for children) that sells wristbands for a day's use as well. The different overlooks do require a bit of walking so the trolley is a nice option if walking a distance isn't ideal for you.

This place is awesome. The views are totally worth the trip no matter how far it may be. I've been trying to come here for years. I'm glad I finally did. The waterfall area is absolutely amazing and peaceful. Photo taking places all over the place. It's definitely a wonder of the world. It's very, very busy and the parking is horrible and very expensive, 25-40 $. As well as the gift shops are expensive. Very very crowded all over the place top to bottom of the falls. Huge tourist attraction with a lot of people traffic and car traffic. Even with all that, it's still one of the best things I've ever seen as a waterfall.

I visited Niagara Falls State Park two years ago, and let me tell you, it was a mist-ical experience! The breathtaking views of the falls left me in awe from start to finish. The park is incredibly well-maintained, with easy-to-navigate pathways that offer different vantage points to admire the sheer power and beauty of the falls. The sound of rushing water is both soothing and exhilarating, creating a natural symphony that adds to the overall experience. My advice to fellow visitors: wear a raincoat! Trust me, you'll thank me later. The mist from the falls is no joke, and it adds an extra layer of excitement to your journey. Don't worry about looking a bit silly; it's all part of the fun! The observation decks provide stunning panoramic views, allowing you to capture some envy-inducing photos. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a photography buff, or just someone looking for a serene escape, Niagara Falls State Park has something for everyone. The surrounding greenery and well-maintained gardens add to the overall charm of the park, creating a perfect blend of natural beauty and human ingenuity. The facilities, including clean restrooms and informative signage, enhance the overall visitor experience. While the park does get busy, especially during peak hours, the sheer magnificence of the falls overshadows any crowds. Plus, the bustling atmosphere adds a sense of shared wonder as visitors from around the world gather to witness this natural wonder. Niagara Falls State Park is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable and awe-inspiring experience. Just remember to bring your raincoat, embrace the mist, and let the beauty of the falls leave you utterly captivated. It's a trip you won't soon forget!

One of my most favorite places to visit in the entire US. It is such a wonder of nature! Pictures and videos don’t do this place justice— one has to experience the sheer beauty and grandeur to truly appreciate it. I prefer the US side a lot more than the Canada side. The US side felt more like a park where they have tried to preserve the nature (trails to walk right up to the falls, places to sit in the park, birds and squirrels running around, etc.). Canada side appears to be a lot more commercialized. There are a lot of tours and activities available. Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds are highly recommended and are very reasonably priced. I would recommend getting a hotel as close to the Falls as possible so you can walk to the park instead of driving. Night views are fantastic and it’s really nice to spend time in the park after sunset. Fireworks were OK, the light show was more interesting.

The place was amazing and the view of water fall was mesmerizing. 💕💕💕💕 Open 365 days a year, Niagara Falls State Park has awe-inspiring scenery! It also features thrilling attractions, interactive exhibits, miles of hiking trails, and delectable dining options in a family-friendly environment. It's an adventure-packed experience! No passport is needed to experience an unforgettable and breathtaking Niagara Falls vacation.

The best way to observe the Niagara Falls up close while enjoying a nice and long hike back and forth to one of the parking lots near the horseshoe or the American falls. Otherwise you can park near one and then park near the other. Contrary to the outrageous parking fees charged on top of the hotel daily rates, on the streets or in parking lots on the Canadian side, parking on the Niagara Falls State Park is very affordable. The trail along the river through the park is beautiful. It has a metal grid fence that can be used as a banister, the pavement is smooth so it’s wheel chair accessible and there’s plenty of benches and rest areas to relax. Along the trail there are various attractions including the bridal veil falls, a statue of Tesla and a bridge where you can appreciate the ferocious current of the river before it reaches the Falls. Although only partial views of the Falls are available on the US side, the trade off is to hear the roar of the falls. It’s simultaneously mesmerizing and terrifying.

Stunning at night, beautiful in any weather or season, the American side has less tourists which makes it perfect. They just upgraded the restrooms and info booths. The great thing about water is that you never get tired of the view, sound and fresh air. Must visit both sides, so bring your passport and cross the bridge for a dollar.

Really amazing... it's gorgeous I hope I will come back in summer to see it again and also from the Canadian side. The only thing I didn't really like it was the activity (and online during winter) the activity give you a perfect view under the niagara falls but you need to pay $14 ... and in the summer it's the same price but you have way more access so its dumb to make us pay full price for a little portion...

Niagara Falls State Park, a magnificent natural wonder, offers an unrivaled experience of raw beauty and power. The park's centerpiece, the awe-inspiring Bridal Veil Fall, is a sight to behold, with its thunderous waters cascading into the misty abyss below. A visit to Goat Island provides an intimate encounter with the falls, allowing visitors to feel the spray on their faces and hear the roar of the water up close. Evenings at the park are transformed into a magical spectacle with the dazzling fireworks display, lighting up the sky above the falls in a kaleidoscope of colors. It's a mesmerizing sight that complements the natural beauty of the falls. For the best experience, visiting during late spring or early autumn is recommended. During these times, the weather is pleasant, and the park is less crowded, offering a more serene experience. Additionally, visiting during weekdays can help avoid the weekend rush. Niagara Falls State Park is not just a destination; it's an unforgettable experience, merging the beauty of nature with the thrill of adventure. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an exhilarating adventure, this park is a must-visit destination that will leave you in awe of nature's grandeur.

Natures beauty at its best. Must visit place in the world. It's really amazing to see how the state park is maintained considering this is one of the places on earth with a lot of footfall of tourists. The place is so huge and built without disturbing nature's beauty. Considering that the place was a mess with factories years back, the work done to design it in the way it is now is truly inspiring. Adding some tips for visitors to plan the day 1. Day and time - Start early to see the beauty of early morning falls with a bit of fog around. Witnessing the beauty of the sun, removing the fog slowly, and giving clarity to the falls is something to watch. State Park is open 24 hours. On a nice sunny day, you will be able to cover everything in just 1 day 2. Parking - there is a lot of parking. There are three big parking spaces. Two in goat Island, and one in the maid of mist side. Parking rates are different for seasons and weekends. Maximum is $15 3. Attractions I visited in order A. Parked at goat Island parking B. Watched terrapin point C. Cave of winds D. Maid of Mist & observation tower E. Aquarium F. Bus tour to Luna, three sisters islands G. Light show H. Fireworks 4. Cave of winds - must do. Never miss. You will feel the power of the water standing below the US side falls. 5. Maid of mist - must do. Experience of lifetime. Takes you near the horseshoe area in a boat 6. Aquarium - walkable from Maid of mist area. sea lion show is must watch. Only 1 hour needed to finish this 7. Fireworks and lighting - stay till 10 pm to see this. It's worth the wait. Observation tower is the best place to watch 8. Food - a lot of food trucks available right outside the state park serving good food 9. Bus tour - it could get tiring without this because there is a lot to walk around. It was $3 and can be used on any bus inside the park the whole day 10. Rest areas and rest rooms - it's a park neatly maintained and full of trees. So loads of places to rest. Rest rooms are also available and very neatly maintained

LOVED THIS PLACE! So serene and peaceful. I uploaded videos for those who may never get to go but still want to experience what I've seen. This was my first time and (plus we went during a weekend and the parking wasn't bad at all). I would definitely go back. Parking in the lot is not free, but it is worth it . We went in the fall during the day so the weather was just right but the wind could definitely sprinkle the rising water on you. Go if you can!!

This is a fantastic trip! The park alignment along the river to the falls is breathtaking due to the enormous drop. We spent 4 hours due to the heat and being with young and elderly in our party. Park on Goat Island, take the trolley for $3 and get your bearings for the area. If your an avid walker you will enjoy walking all the paved pathways. The trolly stops at all the main sites and interesting points. The Maid of the Mist boat tour will take you through the entire basin. You can also option for going down to the ground level in the Maid of the Mist shared elevators. It is a simple $1.25 per person, but there is only 1 set of elevators and you have to stand in a long line for them. We opted out of that even after buying tickets. There was no way we could have our party wait in the heat. We ate at the Top of the Falls on property it was air conditioned. Enjoy the photos

Simply Stupendous experience. The views are stunning. "The Maid of the Mist" is really amazing fairy ride in to the falls through Niagara river. "The Cave of the Wind" journey is also once in a life time experience. Time does fly so fast here. The Tram ride, Beautiful gardens, Food court and Souvenir shops. A lot of things to do here. A perfect family tourism destination. The world changed here...👍👍👍

If you are thinking of coming here, come. It’s so nice, well kept, plenty to do and you won’t regret it. There are stores and shops across the street. Plenty of walking areas with great views. The caves of winds is accessible through the park. Plenty of parking that’s only 10 dollars to get in. I can imagine it gets busy during the weekends and summer times but in Nov on a weekday it was lovely.

Lots of wonderful places to take pictures and see the majesty of the falls! Plenty of places to sit and take a breather with all the walking, or grab a ride on the trolley to shuttle between the falls locations. Stay late to see the falls lit up at night and the small (5-10 minute) but very nice fireworks at 10! Worth seeing at least once.

Every minute spend here was worth it. It’s just beautiful to be here and when you go on ride if you are lucky you can witness rainbows. WHEN YOU ARE ON RIDE JUST STAND ANYWHERE NEAR RAILING AND WHOLE COMING BACK YOU CAN RECORD 360 VIEW OF THE PLACE BECAUSE THEY ROTATE THE WHOLE BOAT. Don’t not miss sunset and light show just after the sun set. It will be very windy out there so please wear full clothes.

It's Free! Despite everything and everyone trying to get you to buy stuff, we enjoyed 2 hours here and paid nothing. We parked on Main Street and walked down to the park (10 mins). The views are spectacular and there were not too many people in the morning. The Canadian side looks horrendous as it is so built up. The US park is green and open. We walked across the bridge to Goat Island. The falls at Terrapin point are almost within touching distance.

Listen. If anyone tells you that you must stay on the Canadian side they're either crazy or uninformed about the American side which while yes the view of the horseshoe falls isn't the same the State Park is far superior to anything that the Canadian side has. You could easily spend several hours to a full day exploring the park there's that much to do. Have a picnic, enjoy all of the different lookout points. If you travel to Niagara Falls make sure that you budget time to walk around and enjoy this park. Go to the furthest point which is Terrapin point to get right up next to the river that leads into the falls and feel the power. Make sure to spend time next to the American falls as well which is called Luna Island. Absolutely amazing.

Just stunningly beautiful. The falls are incredible, of course, but the park itself is incredible as well. I suggest you travel through out the park and visit to each overlook. As you walk there are beautiful gardens and you will often feel the mist of the falls. There are boat tours and walks down by the falls which look great, but not on a chilly October day as you will definitely get wet! There are many overlooks to see the Canadian and the American falls.

A most incredible experience. You have to pay to park and access the free national park area. There are plenty of places to walk around and see the different falls for free. The views are stellar! Cave of the winds was $21 for each adult. Highly recommend it! You get right next to the beautiful falls!

Must visit. Depending what you're planning to do or enjoy what's best for your must do list, both sides- US and Canada offers something for everyone US side offers the best and closest shots for those who plan on having a up close and personal moment with both the falls- Horseshoe Falls and American Falls/Bridal Veil. That's if you don't plan on getting on a boat geared up with raincoat or going down to any of the cave tours no matter which side you're on. The US side offers the best of powerful mother nature experience since you're literally up close to both Falls. You will have to walk quite a long walk with plenty of stairs along the way to get to Horseshoe and American Falls/Bridal Veil since these falls are in opposite end of the state park. Approximately 30 min walk along the meandering path for those who have no physical difficulty. Pace yourself. Fun to experience wet mist at the Bridal Veil and the best thing is that it's free. Or spend the money taking the elevator down to the cave and enjoy the power and strength of these falls. Canada has more amenities such as hotels, restaurants, entertainment, and just sight seeing and people watching. Reserved your room at one of these expensive hotels to get the top level view. The greatest advantage one gets from the Canada side is that you get to see the view of both Falls compared to the US side. The disadvantage from the Canada side is that you're viewing both Falls from a much farther distance, lacking the power of the mist. To enjoy the mist, you will have to take the boat tour ($$) or buy tickets to visit the caves. Both sides offer boat and cave tours. So depending what you want to do, choose where you would like to view, enjoy mother nature or spend your night!

It was magnificent to be able to walk right next to the flowing water before it drops down from the American side. It was very windy on top of the observation deck, which was free. I saw online it was $1.25. Maybe that was old. I was tempted to walk to the smaller falls, but I was too lazy.

Breathtaking! The falls will leave you speechless. The water color is uniquely "Niagara". Just a beautiful treasure of God's amazing earth. Well kept except for areas of reconstruction. Maid of the Mist and Wind Cave are must do's. Lights hit the falls a 9PM in the summer. Fireworks at 10PM.

The most amazing site I've ever seen. By far the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen is the waterfall. Our excursion to the falls was our first, and it did not disappoint. It was well worth the lengthy drive. Views of the falls, particularly the Horseshoe are spectacular. There are also parks nearby, which are fantastic locations for youngsters to run about and rest.

This park is not only beautiful, its clean! You can easily see the falls from the lookout, visitors seemed aware that they weren't to dally and allow others, walking up, to enjoy the falls as well. The town right outside of the park is jammed packed with amazing food options, local cafes, and even a couple of chains for the picky eaters. If you're planning to stay at Seneca or you're visiting the casino, the best way to get to the falls is to exit through the casino entrance and it's a straight shot; short 15-20 minute walk. I implore you to visit.

We visited in April. It was obviously not the best weather. The views were amazing and being earlier in the year there weren't so many people. There are so many places to walk around the falls and see beautiful scenery. There are tons of shops with so many things you can buy. Hope to visit again when the weather is warmer.

Gorgeous views available from anywhere you stand! Whether viewing the Falls or simply enjoying the greenery, this place is a lovely visit and a must see for any tourist! I also very highly recommend the Maid of the Mist tour for an up close experience. They provide simple rain ponchos but consider this your warming: It's very windy, feels like very heavy rain and everything below your knees will be SOAKED THROUGH. Another hot tip: I brought my own fully waterproof phone case from home (the type that is a plastic sleeve on a string) and it provided me with some great pictures and video without risking my device.

So much to do and keep you busy. While not all spots are stroller friendly, the paths are very clean. The falls are beautiful and you can see them right up close in the park. The cave of the winds is not for the faint of heart or anyone who doesn't want to be drenched by the time you're done. But it is an absolute wonder to see and very informative. Be aware, some of the restrooms are closed pretty early in the evening so you may have to walk around a bit to find an open one. The trolley is a nice break from walking and takes you to all the different attractions.

First of all, it’s FREE no admission!! But there are plenty of surrounding gift shops. Now This is one of the MOST beautiful state parks I have EVER seen! I could not stop smiling! It’s truly breath taking! The view is amazing you can stand right next to the fall, see the city skyline of Ontario! The walk is beautiful the bridge is amazing! I wish we would’ve had time to go down to the cave like in the movie Tammy (Melissa McCarthy) where they are wearing those panchos. You’re on a platform underneath the waterfall! But unfortunately we got there with 20 minutes til they close down the tour and most of the people in line weren’t able to go either. So if you wanna do that get there early!

Very cool to see the power of water here. Dog friendly which is great and so much to see. The Canadian side is definitely better and it was packed when we got there at 9am. Lots of tours. So definitely suggest getting there even earlier if you can say arriving at around 7 am to beat the crowds and be able to get parking as we had to park a little bit further away, but it was still free

Niagara Falls State Park is a stunning natural wonder that offers a variety of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages. It is the oldest state park in the United States and the birthplace of the American conservation movement. It is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and has no admission fee. The park allows you to get closer to the falls than anywhere else. You can experience the power and beauty of the falls from different perspectives, such as the Maid of the Mist boat tour, the Cave of the Winds, the Observation Tower, and the Goat Island bridges. You can also enjoy the scenic views of the Niagara Gorge, the islands, and the rapids from various hiking trails and picnic areas. The park also features interactive exhibits, historical monuments, and educational programs that tell the stories of the falls and its people. You can learn about the history, geology, culture, and ecology of the falls at the Niagara Adventure Theater, the Discovery Center, the Aquarium of Niagara, and the Schoellkopf Power Plant Ruins. You can also witness the spectacular illumination and fireworks shows that light up the falls at night. The park also has a range of dining options, from casual to fine dining. You can savor a delicious meal with a panoramic view of the falls at the Top of the Falls Restaurant, or enjoy a snack at one of the many concession stands throughout the park. You can also shop for souvenirs and gifts at the park's gift shops or at the nearby Old Falls Street USA. Niagara Falls State Park is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Niagara Falls, USA. It is a place where you can immerse yourself in nature's wonder and discover its fascinating history and culture. It is a place where you can create unforgettable memories with your family and friends..

This park is amazing! If you like nature and you like to see nice blue water and hear the sound of water, this is the park for you! It is free to stroll through the park and walk to Goat Island (were you can see the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Canada from the observation areas).

Great park to visit and walk around! This is my second time here, well worth multiple visits! There are a lot of different viewing points. I’ve been to both the Canadian side and the US side, they offer different experiences of the falls.

Here's the thing. If you want that classic view of the falls from the viewpoints you'll have to cross into Canada. The USA side doesn't have the POV you were thinking. The way to get the views from US side would be to go on maid of the mist or the observation deck (sort of) Otherwise, Lots of paths to stroll around. Come in late October for the wonderful fall colors, though a lot of the shops and such were closed for the season. Parking is $10. Senior discount available or of you have a state pass it'll work here.

Beautiful! Trolley trip through park. Stopping at Prospect Point to see American rapids, falls from walkway and observation deck. 5 stops: on and off every 15 minutes if desired. Truly memorable.

We first visited Niagara Falls State Park few years before during Falls and we were completely mesmerized. We really loved everything about Niagara. The amazing Water Falls, Maid of the Mist, Cave Of the Winds, Luna Island, Three Sister Islands, The Observation Tower. We completed the boat ride and the cave on the first day and explored the remaining park the second day. The park was well maintained and the trolley really helped us to get around the park. All the necessary information was provided to navigate the park even if you do not use Maps. We wanted to experience Niagara during the Winter and we were able to visit again last month. To see the Park covered in snow is mesmerizing. The weather was chilling and it was windy. We could not spend as much time in the park as we wanted to. But every second we spend was worth it. Maid of the Mist & Cave of the Winds were closed and we could not get close to the Horse Shoe Falls as it was fenced because of the weather. But even without these we enjoyed every bit of the time we spent at the Park. The view of the American Falls and Horse Shoe falls from the Observation Tower was so scenic and beautiful. Even though the activities you can do during Winter is minimal everyone should experience the Water Falls once during Winter. You would never regret it. We would definitely visit the park again. We are in love with this park. Amazing!!!

I have been a frequent visitor of Niagara Falls since 2011. The park arrangements have amazingly improved over the past 12+ years. During my last visit I walked the entire park and it was so easy for me to go around. I think additional seating arrangements would help the oldies.

Loved our visit. Kids were able to make buttons, and photo frames. Took a lovely guided tour and the tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Mist gets cold in November but it's beautiful seeing where it freezes.

I've been here several times throughout my life and NEVER get tired of it. And I know the American side gets a lot of slack for not being as nice and more attractive than the Canadian counter part. Yes, the Canadian side has more to do in and around the Niagara Falls City of the Canadian side. The surrounding area is a lot prettier, yes. However, the American side of the State Park of the falls is WONDERFUL in its own right and doesn't have a lack of things to do and see. There's the Maid Of The Mist, The Whispers Of The Wind and its definitely bustling during the summer. People also forget that's a whole state park here! Its not just for the water falls. Its a perfect park to come for many activities and is EXCELLENT especially for running. There's a few trails, there's the Sisters island, great stuff to see all around. Yeah, you'll get a better view of the falls on the Canadian side but there's just something much more powerful being on the American side and being right near the falls. On a windy day, especially if its hot, there's nothing like being sprayed from the mist coming from the falls, seeing the rainbows that pop out. Its truly refreshing and amazing. And if more people visit the American side, it helps Niagara Falls City (American side) become more lively. And there's some GREAT eats on the American side. If you have never been to Niagara Falls and think its nothing but waterfalls, then you're sadly mistaken. For one its FREE to enter by walking and its just surreal to be visit and be apart of. VISIT this place if you haven't. Its truly a site to behold and you will not be disappointed.

Well, I thought this Park was going to be another overrated tourist heavy place. I was a bit wrong with my opinion. Lots of people yes, but not overcrowded and not unpleasant. The Falls are an amazingly beautiful thing to experience and I was lucky enough to visit on a splendid day. I'm happy that I visited as I was very pleasantly surprised. The prices may be quite a $hock though!

The park itself, the attractions and especially the falls were amazing! We went in a smallish class B RV... parking was insanely hard to find. I called the park and got a recorded message, so they were no help. We eventually after much stress and driving around seeing all the lots saying no RV parking, parked in a metered street area. Directions on the website saying lot 1 accepted RV parking was not correct. Signs everywhere said no RV parking. If it weren't for the parking nightmare, I would have given them a 5 star review. We only paid $5 for 1 hour of parking. Seeing the park, and falls are free. Great time once in the park and surrounding shops and attractions! Awe inspiring sights!

One of the most amazing tourist experiences I have ever had. The Falls are breathtakingly beautiful. I knew that going in from pictures and video I have seen my whole life. But going to the Cave of the Winds and riding the Maid of the Mist was awe-inspiring and better than any time park rides on Earth. So much to see - and great angles to take pictures - and so much to learn about one of this country's true national treasures!

The falls from Canada's side is breathtaking. I recommend getting the two-day pass which includes all of the attractions. Also, have dinner at the table rock restaurant, the light show of the falls is so pretty and romantic at night!

A beautiful site/sight to see! Viewing the falls from either side is breathtaking, however the view from the Canada side is much better. On the Canada side there is a walk way that goes behind the falls that is free to take. On the American side there is a walk way that goes up the side of the falls that is also free. Parking is horrendous no matter where you go on the American side, so just pay any cost at the nearest lot. Do keep valuables out of sight as the area seems very sketchy. Do pack a light jacket as the winds can get a bit chilly. Be mindful of the over spray from the falls as they can damage cameras and phones. There are lavatory facilities on both sides of the falls.

Wonderful experience and scenic Walking routes are available. We did the daytime boat tour and Winds of the cave. Be prepared to get soaked! The tours offer ponchos. Did the evening boat tour in Canada. Very organized. Had an amazing time there as well.

Yes, the American side is feels more nature-y when it comes to the Falls. The parking is more affordable at the state park. The state park was such a beautiful place to walk around. Perfect for a full day with a picnic lunch somewhere in the park. Lots of options! So many different views of the river and rapids from here; it is more than the falls alone. We visited here Day 2 of our trip and found it was the perfect addition to seeing the falls up close.

I love to visit Niagara Falls anytime. It's so mesmerizing to view the Largest Falls in the world. We can see the falls closely by getting to the maid of the mist(ticket price: 25$ per person). We can experience the falls upon us near the cave of the winds(ticket price : 20$ per person). See the falls from the observation deck during nights(Lighting is amazing).

I haven't been here since 1996 and I was on the Canadian side at that time. This was a fantastic trip and it still puts in to perspective how incredible the world is and how insignificant we are in it. The kids were amazed by it and liked being able to see everything. The restaurant was closed at the time but still had a nice time. Would definitely want to come back when it is a little warmer so we can do more things. It is a little hard to see the falls from the American side but still and amazing experience. There are other things to do in the area but very few on the American side. It's strange to see so much on the other side but then realize that a few streets away buildings are just sitting empty on the American side. Maybe one day things will come back and build up the area. Overall a good first experience for the kids.

This park is a great place for visiting over the weekend. One can spend the entire day leisurely and visit all the places in the vicinity of the main falls. There's also a bus that runs loops around the main attractions of the park regularly. The ticket price for the bus is $3 as of now. This was my second time visiting the park, and the cave of the winds was really fun. Personally, I'm not a fan of maid of the mist but my friends like this more than the cave of the winds. One more point to note is that there are a lot of places to visit(like rafting) just outside the park which we unfortunately found out while leaving the park. All in all, it was a good experience.

Very very touristy. Falls itself are beautiful as expected. But if you want to do anything pack some dough. Cave of the winds $19, maid of the mist $25.25. That's per person. Do what we did stand next to the falls up top and feel the mist and spend the $1.25 each to go on the observation tower. BTW the trolley is only $3 to ride around. Recommend getting there earlier in the day to beat the crowds.

Niagara Falls is a spectacular natural wonder! A must visit. The special illumination and fireworks complement the beauty of the Falls. Maid of the mist took us to the horseshoe falls and it was awesome . Standing under the mist of the bridal veil falls in the cave of the winds tour made me realize the mammoth power of the falls! Walking through the Niagara state park was a great as well. There were a couple of food trucks on the street leading up the falls. Most are closed on Tuesdays.
