Our 10 year old grandson has been Mr. Hatcher’s student for several years, studying karate and Jui Jitsu. As he achieved higher belt levels, he has also grown in focus, respectfulness and maturity. I recommend Hatcher’s Martial Arts to anyone (child or adult) who wants to train in these disciplines with a genuine master of them.

In only a few months of attending Hatcher's Martial Arts, I have noticed my two sons grow more active and confident from their jiu-jitsu lessons. Moreover, they are learning the values of honor, respect and masculinity. This is the school for those interested in character development in their children, just as much as martial arts skills.

My son loves Hatcher's Martial Arts. There is a great culture there teaching discipline and respect as well as martial arts. My son works harder at school since starting and is developing ground technique a lot quicker than I imagined. This place is the real deal.

Our daughter has taken Karate here for several years and has absolutely loved it. Mr. Hatcher knows all the know how's and everything to teach his classes with respect and dignity. He has by far the best program teaching the kids as well as adults. I would recommend his over any any day of the week. Down to earth to the point is where it's supposed to be at and that's where it is. Thankfully for our daughter having the opportunity to take lessons here!!! Emma loves you Mr. Hatcher!!! 5 stars for the best!!!

My boys absolutely love training at Hatcher's Martial Arts. They have learned so much since they started. Their self-esteem and confidence have really grown. I would recommend Hatcher's to anyone looking for serious training for the real world. UPDATE: Years later and still going strong đź‘Ť

Brad is a wonderful teacher to all classes he offers! He takes the time to observe all students and direct accordingly. He helped me learn basic self defense! Hatchers is in a great location too.

As someone who was looking to get formal martial arts training after a few years of informal rolling and striking classes, I was nervous to start BJJ. Hatcher's Martial Arts has made it so easy to get back into it. The professors met me where I was in terms of experience and have helped me build a solid foundation for training in Jiu Jitsu going forward. From the minute you walk in the door, the atmosphere is geared towards training and I don't leave a class without learning, whether it be something completely new or building technique in a previously learned move. The more advanced belts do a fantastic job of slowing it down and walking you through the defense and offense of the position you're in while also encouraging you to think it through yourself. Everyone here makes you feel like family and it's just really a fantastic learning environment for all levels of experience.

My son was having issues behaving in schopl, grades, and overall decision making. We decided to get him into martial arts and looked at which ones were available. We chose Hatchers because it was well reviewed and very close to our home. We had our initial class and our son was hooked! We started taking him regularly he loved all the little things and activities they did in class. It was great to see him excited about it and it kept him in line since his behavior dictated if he got to go or not. After we had found out he had been having behavior issues in class, we brought it up to Brad and he advised us to being him in and he would help us with the getting the message across to our son. IT WORKED!! He instantly realized what he did was not going to be tolerated and his behavior quickly changed. I would recommend anyone to this martial arts institution to help get their kids on track or to get them into something new. Great people making great changes.

We highly recommend the Jiu-jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts programs at Hatchers. Our son is absolutely loving his classes here and we would come every day if our schedule allowed! You will not regret joining Hatchers, I really can't say enough good things about it!

Our son loves taking jiu-jitsu classes at Hatcher's. He started with a one month trial and seems to be hooked. It has been very a positive environment for him to learn.

My young adult son was new to the area. He was in martial arts as a young boy. Joining Hatcher’s has been fun for him and he has made new friends. He is really enjoying the top notch training and the expertise of Professor Brad. 💥💪🏼💥💪🏼

My 6YO son has been going to Hatcher's for several months now and loves it! My son is very shy/reserved but we can see him coming out of his shell and gaining confidence every time he goes. Mr. Hatcher is so great with the kids! He is no-nonsense (which is what you want in martial arts) but he is also caring and passionate about the kids and they definitely know that. We will continue to go to Hatcher's from here on out and can't wait for our 3YO to be old enough to participate. If you want somewhere that makes the kids actually work for belt promotions, an instructor that knows his stuff and cares so deeply about the kiddos, go to Hatchers!!

We are new to BJJ. My son has been working personally with Mr. Hatcher. He has been very patient and firm, and my son has really loved coming here. We are looking forward to attending more classes in the fall and working towards goals that are appropriate for my son. Very excited to see what the future holds with the Hatcher team!

You can tell he is here for you to learn how to defend yourself and is not here just for the money. It's been a great atmosphere and has been perfect for my 5 yr old Girl and 4 yr Boy. It was important to us for them to learn discipline and control.

Excellent knowledge and teachings. Great at preparing our children for their future. I appreciate the level of care from Mr. Hatcher & all staff, especially with the concentration on safety & preparedness. Very impressed with the program and happy we selected Hatcher’s Martial Arts above the other programs in the area (which we have tried other programs in our area). My children love the jiu-jitsu & martial arts classes. I have also attended a women’s self defense class and will definitely attend the next one and bring my teenage daughter, plus several friends. Strong work!

Our young son has enjoyed his experience at Hatchers. We are close to a year and will continue his education at this facility. Mr. Hatcher has the best interest at heart for the kids and their safety and works along side the parents for the children’s best interest. He is engaging with the children and has great staff that are highly trained. Great place overall.

I highly recommend Hatcher’s Martial Arts for those wanting to learn more about themselves. In the first 2 months of Professor Brad Hatcher’s guidance, I’ve discovered a meaningful post-military journey, while my 11yr old is thriving, made friends, and walks with a new confidence. The instruction is given with the upmost importance on safety and technique. It’s a perfect choice for personal growth, character development, and a welcoming community.

My son quickly engaged and enjoyed his first experience with martial arts at Hatcher’s. Unfortunately, lack of professionalism from my perception caused conflict and we were dismissed nearly immediately when the issues were presented to Mr. Hatcher, after he had asked if there was a problem. From my perspective the emotional intelligence piece of the practice is missing from this facility.

We love Hatcher's Martial Arts. Mr. Hatcher is great with our kids, and is very knowledgable. He doesn't just teach Martial Arts, he teaches the kids valuable life lessons. You can tell he truly cares for every one of his students.

After deciding I wanted to finally take up BJJ, I started visiting local gyms. Hatchers by far was the friendliest and most welcoming gym I came into. I loved the traditional martial arts feel of the gym, and I could tell a strong sense of family amongst its members immediately. Mr. Hatcher himself was the first to greet me and personally showed me the gym and all its amenities and his back story in BJJ which immensely impressive. I immediately knew this was the place I needed to be to take on this journey!

I have been practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on and off for many years now and can attest that Hatcher’s Martial Arts is one of the finest Gracie Jiu Jitsu academies in our region. Professor Brad Hatcher teaches Gracie Jiu Jitsu the way it was meant to be taught…with an equally strong emphasis on stand-up self-defense and ground techniques. I also believe that the culture that he has created in his Dojo is second to none. No matter if you are male, female, young at heart, or young on paper, you will be taught to defend yourself well in a safe, challenging, and welcoming environment. Come join us!
