My grandson birthday party was there and it was just nice, it was roomie and clean. As many times as I went past there I didn't know it was that nice in there. I will be going back

Nice, multi purpose space. We play night basketball games and it is a great faculty good parking and reasonably priced. Showers in the bathroom. Accessible to all.

Rented a party room for my daughter's bday.... great facility, but they are slow returning your security deposit. They guy says you'll get it in 7 days after your event, but he doesn't mail it until like the 7 day

I play basketball here. Been part of groups that rent space for nearly 20 years. Always friendly, never had an issue

Had my daughter's birthday party here years ago. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. I've been back a few times for various things always with a pleasant outcome.

So disappointed. I have the privilege of being a Caregiver to a woman that just turned 80. Unfortunately her immediate family doesn't live here. Her daughter planned the milestone birthday party. She lives in Texas and explained her vision via phone. She was assured they could accommodate her special day. Put down a substantial amount to secure the venue. Flew in, walked in the next day completely devastated. Was given a tour and her Mother didn't meet up until almost 10 minutes later. When you're older accessibility is key. The bathroom was not even close. The room provided no privacy. Three strikes you're out. When it was clear that they couldn't provide what was promised she asked for a refund. The Event Manager absolutely refused to refund a penny. Unfortunately people were flying in and she had to find another venue. She found a great venue at the last minute, but that upped the costs. Losing money to River Forest didn't help. Despite everything it was a great night. I only wish River Forest would have been honest and at least given some type of refund for the inconvenience. Sorry to be so long winded, but 80 is a BIG deal. And right is right. I hope other customers are treated better.

Good place for community events, family events, and park programs. The elevator is a little slow seeing that the building has only 2 floors. It could use some upgrades but they have cameras all over the building and ample parking spaces. It's in a good location like everything in River Forest usually is. Overall an average size community center with decent accommodations.

I signed my 6 & 7 year old up here this summer. I would give the program for the younger kids a 4/5 and the older kids a 3/5 mainly because the older crew seemed to have a lot of down time. There is a large age range, and a lot of kids with different pick up and drop off times, so I get it- but I wish I would have realized this before signing them up. They went a few trips, and I know there were more scheduled, but it rained so often this summer ( obv not RF is not to blame here). The staff were not too eager to get to know me, and/or my kids. Overall, it was a great place for the price, and they were flexible with our schedule. I will give it another shot next summer.
