After
reading
a
lot
of
these
reviews,
I
bitterly
laughed
because
every
single
complaint
about
rude
receptionists
and
impossible
to
talk
to
humans
(especially
during
covid)
is
true.
I've
never
seen
anything
actually
get
a
1.6
star
rating
(at
time
of
writing)
on
Google,
so
I
felt
the
need
to
chip
in.
I've
been
seeing
Dr.
Lau
ever
since
I
was
a
little
girl
in
2000,
long
before
the
office
moved
to
its
current
location,
and
the
receptionist
has
always
been
this
miserable.
However,
Dr.
Lau
is
a
fantastic
doctor.
He's
attentive
and
caring,
and
has
the
right
mix
of
empathy
and
analytical
thinking
to
provide
exceptional
health
care.
I
trust
him,
and
he
has
never
made
me
feel
like
he
was
rushing
through
appointments
to
get
to
the
next
patient
(and
I
happily
wait
through
these
delays
because
doctors
don't
know
why
we're
seeing
them
until
we're
there
and
we
all
want
to
be
taken
care
of.)
Dr.
Lau
is
very
hardworking,
and
from
the
other
reviews,
it
sounds
like
most
doctors
here
are
simply
working
insane
hours,
and
it
seems
unfair
to
give
this
place
a
poor
rating
just
because
the
receptionist
is
bad.
Having
said
that,
I
am
giving
4
stars
instead
of
5
because
reception
and
customer
service
does
matter.
The
online
system
is
fairly
intuitive
for
booking
virtual
consults,
but
if
I
need
to
reach
the
office
on
more
urgent
matters
(that
don't
warrant
going
to
an
ER)
I
should
be
able
to
talk
to
a
human
being
during
reasonable
hours
instead
of
being
forwarded
to
voicemail
right
away.
Also
online
appointments
have
to
be
booked
fairly
far
in
advance,
and
sometimes
things
pop
up
and
you
can't
wait
a
month
to
see
your
family
doctor,
some
flexibility
in
this
by
way
of
talking
to
a
human
being
would
be
very
helpful.
All
in
all,
this
place
isn't
as
awful
as
the
reviews
make
it
sound.
The
doctors
are
busy
and
the
receptionist
service
could
be
improved,
but
there
are
great
doctors
here
who
do
care
about
the
well-being
of
their
patients.
