I am suggesting to rename this GP to St Lukes doesn't care primary centre. I had very bad experience with this Gp, I feel like the receptionists are not trained properly, and always passing you on to someone else, they lost my blood test 3 times in the last year or so. And us usually it's always hard to get in touch with them and get appointments without taking day off.

Does anyone know if this surgery exists? Totally incompetent surgery. If you ring and try and get an appointment, it just cuts off and says " our surgery is up to capacity for appointments" I went in to the surgery to make an appointment as I was sick and tired of the phone process, spoke to a receptionist at 2.20pm, insisting she cannot make me an appointment and I must call and at 2.20pm I won't have a problem getting through. I phoned up In front of the receptionist and suprise suprise it cut off " all our receptionists are busy" she was the only receptionist, sitting in front of me, and still didn't answer the phone. Shocking, I am looking to move surgeries.

Most definitely the worst practise I have ever joined. Clinical staff seem competent and the surgery is big / clean however getting an appointment is like trying to climb a mountain with no limbs. From what I understand it has been this way for many years, with numerous patients comparing. This practise manager needs firing! If I were seriously ill or elderly this would seriously stress and worry me. Absolutely appalling public service.

Now that everything is online it is simple and easy to get the care I need. No issues with any staff either, ANP's especially are amazing. Great with kids too, my son has no issues going to the surgery. I do find waiting times when phoning quite long, but I think that's a universal surgery thing. All in all, it's much better than the last practice I was at

GP in name not in practice. Good luck getting an appointment. Better hope you don't ever have any ailments. Ridiculous process to try and get an appointment. Have to call on the day at the same time as everyone else. It's then pot luck if you get through. If you are honest and say it's not urgent, which 90% of illness for a GP aren't, then you are not getting an appointment.

This doctor‘s surgery scares me. The level of support and welfare for my six week old I’ve been given this week is not good enough by any standard. I’ve never had any problems up until now but there is no trust. Reception staff are so unhelpful.

Absolute shambles of a health 'care' facility. My 76yo mother has been calling every single day, twice a day, for over a month and has yet to get anyone to answer the phone. 8.01am this morning 'we have no appointments today, call 111'. Either they are driven by making profits and have total disregard for patients or the management are grossly incompetent and should find another career. Unwell people are suffering needlessly due to this appalling place. Public Health England should take a long hard look at this place and fire the management.

I've been trying to call to book an appointment since 5 months and when I call at 8 o'clock I'm on queue 39th position I wait for 1hour on the phone then it reach the capacity and cut off. I tried so many times, I even went to the surgery the receptionist said I have to call, she cannot help. Its so annoying, I just moved to Northampton and I don't know how to get an appointment.

I thought I was in the minority when it comes to booking an appointment with the Dr, by the looks of the reviews, they have no favourites and cannot be accused of an "ism" in any way shape or form, looks like NOBODY can get an appointment. It's disappointing that you have to give at least one star as it is really not deserved.

I am surprised with the negative reviews. I have been at this surgery for more than handful of years and most times they were able to help me straight away and were very polite. Today I have called again and I was talking to very lovely lady, who was very patient with me, very helpful and ever so kind. We are leaving Northampton soon, so I want to thank you very much for all you have done for us through out the years.

Virtually impossible to get an appointment. Usually start off as somewhere like caller number 35-40 in a queue. After half an hour on hold gradually working your way down the queue you often get randomly cut off without notice or are told by an automated service all the appointments have gone. They are also still accepting new patients despite appearing to be vastly oversubscribed.

Well iv been under this GP for around 4 months now and its been nothing but issues, i spend days trying to get through because i just keep getting cut off, medications that my children and my self have been on for more than 4 years dont get put on repeat despite me telling them everytime it needs to be on repeat, the way they took a swab of my daughters ear caused a blockage putting her in even more pain, when i first called them to find out why our medications were taking so long to be done at this point we had run out of extremely important meds they said they had no records of us ever being put on these medications which we had been on for years without any issue at our last GP and in stead of calling me to see what i was apparently ordering meds we wasnt on they just left it. We only changed because we moved to the area and our old 1 was to far away. Think we will be making another change. Absolutly useless especially with a family of long standing medical issues that require daily medication.

Unfortunately waste of time to get an appointment. I’ve tried to contact them exactly at 2PM, when there are releasing new slots for appointments. It booked me in the queue as 30th. Hanging for nearly an hour to get a message that they’re already reached their capacity.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. It's quite honestly the worst GP practice I've ever had the misfortune to have to attend. The staff are incredibly rude and short with me whenever I try to speak to them about my medication or trying to make an appointment. They tell me they've rung me up when they haven't and argue with me when I show them my call log as proof they never . Its absolutely shocking and extremely upsetting for me and do not need this kind of stress in my life. I am currently looking for a new surgery as this one is a disgrace.

The staff here seem lovely and Chloe was very helpful but the system is clearly broken and doesn’t meet the needs of anyone it seems reading other reviews on here. Surely this is not good for the health of these patients. My aunt who has been discharged from hospital and was told to get painkillers from her doctor has found she simply can’t use the system. I have tried and managed to get through at the right time thankfully.

This morning my 3rd appointment was cancelled on arrival at the practice. I was told I should have received a cancellation message but unfortunately this arrived 20 minutes after my supposed appointment. This service/practice is clearly grossly under staffed and is failing with its due care.

😠 It is almost impossible to get an appointment. They are clearly taking on too many patients and are overloaded. Why would a GP Surgery take on so many patients to the point that you cannot get appointments? Poorly managed, understaffed and when you see how they are paid, NHS England is responsible...
