Brieter APRN is actually an amazing provider and you can tell she loves and cares for her patients. Everything else with this place ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. On 3 different occasions within the last 6 months I alerted the staff that I wouldn't have enough medications to last me until my next appointment. Each time they blamed me saying it was my responsibility to make sure my appointment fell before I needed refills, however I have absolutely no control over when their next availability is??? Also they charge a $15-20 extra refill fee on top of the price of your medication. This most recent time I started calling a week in advance saying that I wouldn't have enough medications. I called on 3 seperate days and left 3 separate voicemails to the doctor medical assistant. I never recieved a reply back and ran out of medications. I called the office again and begged them not to transfer me to a voicemail and all the front desk lady could tell me was there was nothing more they could do since they sent a message to my doctor. Your telling me all they can do is send a message? This place has poor policies and poor management. STAY AWAY if you actually want to recieve good treatment and medication management. I've already found a new provider.

Being coming to NPI closed to a yr to bring my son for Therapy.. His therapist is EXCELLENT, and the clinic is very nice, organized and clean, we barely have to wait for him to be called. You can schedule 2 months appointments ahead for the sessions. I recommend this location if you or a family member is dealing with some sort of emotional or mental instability.

My doctor is fantastic, but the institute as a whole is a nightmare. Getting through to anyone other than appointments is impossible, appointments require at least a two week wait as an established patient, if you're unsure on a medication, need a refill, or are having a mental crisis, don't even bother calling because you can't speak with anyone other than ✨ appointments ✨.

I am quite frankly appalled and very disappointed with this practice. My special needs son has been having a lot of difficulties and he was present at NPI for an intake appointment in November. He was not given any specific directions or indication that he has any new diagnoses. He was only told that he did not need to start any medications at the time, but should follow up with a therapist, so we were happy to make an appointment for his next visit. This visit was rescheduled once due to an illness in the family. We were looking forward to finally getting him to see someone after he has waited for so long. Then, my son told me that someone emailed him saying that his appointment was changed to another date. No one spoke to us or asked us if this date and time was OK, and we are unable to make this appointment due to our work schedules. I called the office to change the appointment AGAIN and spoke to an extremely rude and unhelpful young woman. This woman kept reiterating that someone from the office spoke to someone in our family about changing the date. There are only two people in our house right now as my husband is out of town - my son and I. Neither of us spoke to anyone, but in any case, I kept requesting a new appointment time. I was told that I was disrespectful, unprofessional, and uneducated by this woman. I am not sure what was the reason that she could not simply help us settle on another appointment time and instead chose to just continue to argue with me. I asked to speak to her supervisor to see if I could get my son's appointment time changed and she made no attempt to get someone else on the line to help us. Instead she continued to berate me over the phone until I finally hung up. I feel so defeated as my son is the one who is suffering and has been waiting a long time to get help that he desperately needs. To update, my child tried to reschedule his appointment this morning and then this afternoon he received a call saying that he was bein “discharged “ without any explanation. Completely worthless and incompetent provider. Nothing about my review is inaccurate.

My session with Jason Versace has always been professional and engaging. He interacts well with my son and includes the family dynamics when necessary. Confidential communication is important to me and he has honored this.

Terrible scheduling, terrible record keeping, never call back on time, argue with patients on the phone trying to see the nurse practicioners because the Dr. can't see new people. Rude staff, rude nurse practicioners.

I love the psychiatry team here, they always keep their appointments and schedule things properly. DO NOT COME HERE FOR THERAPY! My first appointment (the one where you build trust etc) was supposed to be 11:15 and I am still in the waiting room at 11:40. They told me at 11:33 that the therapist was asking to get me and my appointment was 11:30 and Ben though their email states 11:15. The front desk is lazy and rude, and the therapists sit in their office and don’t care as the waiting room fills up with 7 people.

My family and myself see Jason Versace, we have had great results and he is Amazing. Such a great personality, and very easy to talk to. There is no BS with him he is up front and I truly appreciate his honesty, even when he calls me out. If you think you need to talk to someone, I would truly set up a session with him.

They are everything wrong with mental health in this country. Staff have no care or empathy for patients, their conditions, or their situations. Twice they have messed up my appointments, blamed me, and proceeded to charge me for their mistakes ($90+) If you care about yourself or a loved one do not take them here.

10 stars for provider Chelsea Geller. She has been such a blessing in our lives and we are so grateful for her continued compassion. 2 stars for the institute itself. It’s very frustrating how they require you to pay any balance in full before they will schedule anything - especially when that appointment is required because the provider won’t give more than 30 days of a medication.

Love my provider, she is amazing and has always been helpful. However, Lisa at the front desk described another coworker as "Very OCD." Not the best way to make patients at the literal Neuropsychiatric Institute feel okay about what services they are here for.

I’ve been coming here for many years. I’m happy that I found a dr. that listens to my concerns and has been able to help me feel better. I’ve never had any problem with anything or anyone here.

My son has been seeing Ms. Nicole for some time now and I must say she’s a blessing to our life. I have seen great improvements within my son. He feels safe and comfortable with her. She is a dedicated, caring , compassionate and supportive provider. She gives me great information and is honest about everything. I can’t thank her enough for her willingness to see my son progress successfully, in all developmental stages, it’s awesome. I would recommend her to anyone. Our family thanks you. Sonic !

My experiences at NPI have always led to me feeling better and growing as an individual. The therapy provided by William Fitzgerald is second to none. I highly recommend him at NPI. But, it’s not just him. The staff is always kind and helpful beyond measure.

I bring a family member to NPI for therapy with Colleen. She has been wonderful, very compassionate and helpful. I was apprehensive about this practice because of the negative reviews but we have had a positive experience with all aspects. When I initially called to schedule they said it would be two months out for a new patient which unfortunately is pretty standard in the area so I accepted. They called back a few days later and offered me a cancellation, moving the appointment up by about 6 weeks which was a pleasant surprise! The staff has all been courteous and professional and I have had no issues so far with scheduling or billing.

I love this place.. No other place has made me feel more comfortable and at ease. I’ve never thought twice about switching doctors since I doubt there is a better place out there for therapy. Both the therapists and psychiatrist listen and create a treatment plan that is best for you and I haven’t found that anywhere else.

I absolutely love Dr Gonzalez from here. And the staff has always been understanding and compassionate. I never have any issues with making my appointments and the one time there was an issue on my side they rescheduled and worked with me to deal with the fee that occurred as a result. This is the first place that really took the time to figure out what was happening and adjusted my medication so that i can actually function 😍
