I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel, and I must say it was absolutely appalling. The room I was provided was nothing short of a nightmare. It was filthy, with an alarming presence of bed bugs that left me feeling disgusted and utterly uncomfortable throughout my stay. To add insult to injury, the maintenance in the bathroom was clearly neglected. The shower light fixture fell on my head, posing a serious safety hazard. This negligence not only ruined my stay but also put my well-being at risk. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a disgraceful display of neglect and disregard for basic cleanliness and guest safety. Avoid at all costs.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this so-called "hotel," and I must say it was the worst hotel I have ever encountered. I strongly advise against reserving a room here if you value your trip and overall experience. Firstly, I question whether this establishment should even be classified as a hotel. The service and amenities were severely lacking, to say the least. It felt more like a run-down motel than a proper hotel. I would never be shocked if it’s classified as apartment, because there is no room service , no services as a HOTEL 😦 My companions and I were terribly disappointed to discover that the room we were given was completely different from the one we had booked. Everything was unclear. If you're looking for a place to stay that will complement your trip positively, I implore you to run away from this place. Find accommodation at a reputable hotel that provides accurate photos and clear descriptions. Don't be enticed solely by the price😃😃, as this place will undoubtedly ruin your trip with its bad vibes and lackluster environment. This supposed hotel will only bring disappointment and regret.

This hotel is extremely low standards of cleanliness. The beds were uncomfortable as could feel the bed springs, the bedsheets were mouldy and had blood stains on them. Staff extremely rude and aggressive No breakfast option even tho stated and paid for on the website and has signs around the hotel stating ‘breakfast room’ The bathroom stunk of damp and mould and curly hairs around the toilet. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Even a wild rat that lives on the streets of London!

If I could give this place 0 stars, by all means I would. It's what is deserved. How this place is still open and charging anything over £10 a night is beyond me!? Disgusting filthy rooms, uneven flooring, bathroom was horrendous, with poo stains, what looked like blood?, hair left in shower and dirt all over the walls. the shower didnt work which meant we couldn't shower and the stench of rotting sewage constantly in the room, not even the window open helped. It was unbareable. DISGUSTING place. not worth a penny?! Pictures advertised ARE NOT what they are in person.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have never written a bad review before but I Literally the WORST hotel experience we have ever had. Mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. My daughter peed the bed-unfortunate but caused us to look under the sheets to clean it up. No mattress pads or barrier of any kind, like a normal hotel. The only thing between us and the filthiest mattresses I have ever seen was a regular bed sheet. Felt really gross. The photos of this place look cute and nice, but the 2 rooms they put is in were not anything like these pictures except the orange pillows- which are filthy by the way. The rooms were so hot that we had to have the windows open (I LOVE to have the windows open!) but the street is incredibly noisy and it's impossible to sleep in the early morning hours. Good thing I brought earplugs. We already hated it here, but on our second night, my husband got bedbugs from this hotel. The hotel worker (who was the only worker 24 hours a day and had no replacement-i felt so bad for him) acted like he took the bed bugs seriously at first. He said he would call a 3rd party party control company and that he would send us the report to claim it on our travel insurance. He made a million excuses and finally stopped communicating with me. I know he didn't really call pest control and the next people who stay there will have the same fate again and again. We had 4 nights paid for here- non-refundable of course- and we checked out after 2 nights and lost our money but we couldn't stay here another minute. Had to book another hotel and had the 2 best nights sleep of my life in that new hotel. What a difference!

Strange check in process with the front desk receptionist, also not overly helpful. Our bedroom was very poor. Carpet was stained in several places, floor under carpet was unlevel in places, damaged bed side locker , also plaster on ceiling was peeling off.... The bin had not been emptied. We got a very bad sleep due to street noise from outside, closing the window made the room unbearably hot.. There was a coffee machine in the lobby. However on asking if we could get a coffee we were told no ?? Very disappointing stay, just fortunate for us that it was only for one night. I wish there was something positive I could say about this place, unfortunately I cannot.

This has been the worst "Hotel" ever. One of the receptions showed us our room in the basement which was extremely small, smelled like chlorine and had a window to a very dirty and disgusting "backyard". How they can rent this place without a doubt is a shame. We then didn't even checked in and left immediately. I didn't want to stay there any longer. When we told the people this room is absolutely horrible they didn't even care. Please consider it twice before booking at this place.

I booked a two bed at a different Oyo hotel, was then subsequently moved to this hotel. They did not honor the booking or room size, they claimed not to have two bed rooms even though there’s photos of them. Then they refused to give offer a refund. Worst hotel in London, better to stay on the streets instead of this place.

It actually was alright. I was a bit concerned with reviews but it wasn't half bad . Rooms were very clean and looked nice especially considering prices , the location is good and very close to underground. Guy at the reception was very welcoming and nice, had a good laugh with him . So all in all it was a pleasant stay . The only suggestion I would give - guys , if you are concerned about doors banging , please, spend £20 to buy rubber buffers for doors, so they would prevent it . It is quite weird and unpleasant when stuff is chasing you around the hotel and asking not to smash doors . The doors are closing very slowly on they're own and accelerate at the very end , what people don't really expect

If i could give it zero i would! The beds are horrendous and in our room we had plywood boards under the mattress to stop us going through. It would probably be comfier sleeping on the floor but that had holes in the floor board. No Kettle or hair dryer so be prepared to bring your own. The only good thing was the shower was semi warm. You might as well stay in a holiday inn where you know what you are getting is going to be good.

Basic hotel but good value for money. Pretty much the cheapest room I could get in central London but my room was modern and clean. Didn't spend too much time there but I found it to be big enough for myself and two friends. Close to multiple tube stations so was easy to get in and out of London. Would recommend for people on a budget!

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The hotel room left a lot to be desired. First and foremost, the cleanliness was a major issue. The room had a musty smell, there were stains on the carpet and the sheets and towels looked worn and old (I've found previous guest hair on my pillow).

Great spot right by a main tube station and easy to find. Myself, my husband, 6 year old daughter, and 8 year old son were met by a lovely friendly receptionist, comfortable seats in lobby. We arrived at 10am and asked if we could leave our bags at the hotel until we were ready to come back for check-in, and they were more than happy to do so. We were given a decent sized room on floor 4 which was spotless. The shower was powerfull and the shower gel was nice. The beds were soft and comfortable, the curtains were thick and dark. The reception was open until 11pm then afterwards, they gave you a door code. The next day we left our bags with the hotel for the day. I would have liked a dressing table and chair, hairdryer, and facilities to make a cuppa, but all in all, it did the job, and the four of us went home happy.

Very positively surprised about the size of the room, the cleanliness and especially the kindness of Mr. Ali who was looking after the reception and is someone who not just only does his job, but is happy to serve his guests. He made us feeling welcome. Next time absolutely again.

We spent here 2 nights in summer. The room was really big and also the bathroom. The bed was a bit short but not that small in any case. Our room was in the basement, in the morning outside was a bit busy and noisy because it was in front of the breakfast room. Breakfast was not various but still okay, unfortunately not offering plant based alternative which is unfair but I hope they will improve this aspect. The guy working in the reception was really kind and nice to us, but the ladies at the breakfast not that much. They weren't impolite but neither nice. The hotel is really close to Paddington and to Hyde park and not far away from Portobello road. I honestly like that area of the city so the location was a plus for me. If you have the breakfast included in your reservation but they did not speak about it I recommend you to ask directly as at the beginning they did not explain us about it but once I showed that we booked for breakfast too they were explaining and apologizing for the mistake. Again, the people working at the reception are incredibly kind, they made our stay better.

I've got a room for 3 people at a basement, where you can only use lift when you bring your luggage, beside that you have to use the stairs instead. Thr floor is ceramic floor and its so cold.. there is a heater in the room. But i think ceramic floor is not suitable for this country weather. A tiny wardrobe with minimal hanger and a tiny desk. No condiment at all. But they've provide you with towel.. the receptionist is friendly and nice..

We have had a weekend stay booked here with friends for months. Today our group was called to say that our booking (tomorrow) was being cancelled ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’. Turns out, those circumstances are that they are reselling our room for more than twice the price to shamelessly cash in on the death of the Queen. From the look of other reviews it looks like we dodged a bullet (or more accurately a basement stopover with bed bugs. Look forward to seeing the copy and paste reply everyone else gets. To offer us zero help whilst we try to get our money back.
