I went in there to get my sister-law a Christmas present. Namely, a book voucher. But nowadays instead of the piece of paper, it is now a card. Very durable, and not easy to lose. A little crowded due to Christmas, but the Staff were great. Holding up under the pressure!!

Exceptional service. I queried if they had an item in stock. The lady was super helpful and amongst all the items in store she found what I was looking for. 1 set of Amalfi Friendship Birds. I was very happy with the service.

Very busy store on Saturday, I was searching for two books. The first I found easily, the second not so. Sought assistance from a staff member who was so helpful. Great service.

I like the way the shop opens up directly onto The Plaza; I often spot things of interest. The stands of books and novelties were tidy with good signage. I saw some good specials. The staff were smiling even though they were busy serving a constant stream of customers.

Relatively small for a Whitcoulls, but they have the basics covered, with a good selection of new release, back catalogue and classic books. Good place for jigsaw puzzles, board games and a wide range of greeting cards. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

How could a bookshop not be five stars. Easy access from Church Street means you can grab a book and be out in the car while the rest of the world roams the Plaza. First time I've bought a book that's hard to pick up but Alan Davies 'Just Ignore Him' a book about his life is a train wreck you that is hard not to finish even the harrowing events of his childhood. Great service as usual and the Christmas gift vouchers went nowhere even with a buy one get one half price offer. At the end of the day you just can't have too many books.

Very disappointed that the online store stating that a lot of the in-store items were 'out of stock'. I went online and ordered to find that the products were in stock, currently attempted to get my order canceled but have no luck. In-store were helpful but still waiting for my order to be canceled so that i may get the product instore with the store credit.

We went in to get some books and support for my daughter with anxiety. We had an awesome young girl who helped us and showed us all sorts of amazing things. She had lots of great advice and personal experience to help. You made this so easy and made my daughter feel supported and normal, she even commented that she will be ok one day just like you!! You never know the difference you can make to someone just by doing your job, thank you so much !!
