Beautiful place, everything is close to the next attraction. Of course, a lot of people trying to take the typical picture, but you can manage to get good shots away from others. Nice coffee shops to have a snack or an amazing ice cream. Remember to buy tickets in advance, all attractions have different times and there are some restrictions in regards to age (do your research).

Beautiful tower. We couldn't make it on top, there were no available time slots for it, so definitely recommending to buy tickets in advance online. But from outside it looks amazing as well. It's funny to observe people doing crazy poses while making pictures 😅👍🏼 but we all did it, right? 😅

Amazing climbing the steps of the leaning tower. When climbing the steps, you clearly feel a tilt. The climb is quite long. Please be careful when you go up the main stairs there is another smaller set. Which leads to the top. Many people don't notice the passage and it's worth it . The view from the top is simply breathtaking. An absolute must climb if anyone visits Pisa.

What an amazing site!!!! First, I saw it very quickly when I was in the train. Then when I went out from the train and was heading to the site, I saw the top of the tower! What a feeling!! Just amazing! It’s among the most impressive things I ever seen in my life! All people go there to visit the tower but you should absolutely visit the whole site: the cathedral, the museum etc… because each one of them is a must see site. I loved this place and would definitely come back during my next visit to Tuscany.

Better than I remember from 1983 and better than expected up the tower. A bit pricey at €20 but they have you over a barrel if you want to do it. Great staff and supervision. Great views on a good day and interesting seeing the bells at the top of the tower. Hard to believe it's nearly 1000 years old

Would definitely recommend going during the off season, there were very few people and we could walk around comfortably and get nice photos. I would not recommend going into the tower itself, however if you have time to spare I'm sure it would be a good idea to check out the inside.

It is a historical place. The biggest thing is that it is one of the seven wonders of the world. People come to see it from everywhere in the world. My experience was very good. If I get a chance I will come again. The city of Pisa was very nice.

We visited as part of a cruise we were doing, and our cruise docked late so we ended up walking most of the way. It was well worth it though. We were able to meet up with our tour group and walk up to the top of the tower. Some of the steps up the tower have been worn down over the years so they can be a slippery, so be careful. The grounds that the tower sits on is well kept and there are various shops and restaurants in the area as well. We didn’t have any kids with us, but I would imagine small kids would have a hard time climbing all the stairs.

Wow... this miracle of architectural is even more impressive when seen live. I recommend buying a combined ticket for all attractions in Piazza del Duomo, because each place is truly magical! The price is 27€ and it is best to book it in online. The tower is a magnificent building, it looks majestic from the outside, but inside it is empty, there are only stairs leading up. An amazing structure where from the first step on the tower I feel how tilted it is.

Arriving at the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the evening heightened the enchantment of this iconic landmark. The warm hues of the setting sun cast a golden glow on the marble facade, enhancing its timeless beauty. Despite the late hour, the surrounding Square of Miracles was still alive with a vibrant energy. We explored the base of the tower, marveling at its architectural peculiarity and the intricate details of the nearby Cathedral and Baptistery. The diminishing daylight didn't obscure the elegance of Pisa's historic ensemble. As twilight descended, the Leaning Tower illuminated, creating a captivating silhouette against the night sky. The subdued lighting added a touch of mystery to the surroundings. The square, adorned with medieval architecture, exuded a quiet charm, making our evening visit a magical experience that showcased Pisa's beauty even under the enchanting cloak of dusk.

Certainly! Here's a sample review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an iconic marvel that truly lives up to its reputation. The architecture is breathtaking, and the slight tilt adds a unique charm. The surrounding square is lively, providing a great atmosphere for visitors. It's a must-visit destination, offering history, beauty, and a bit of fun trying to capture that perfect perspective photo. Highly recommended! Just to be aware, one of the site in square are tombs you will be walking on.

Visited Pisa tower on a sunny weekend, this place has a different vibe and history. Another one marked in my list of world wonders. You go on top of tower paying 20€, due to the current situation and a huge queue we have decided not to go, I sure it would be a great experience. It is very well maintained though there were lots of tourists on weekend, it looked pretty clean. You can relax in the open space on the grass within the area without paying any fee. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops with in few steps from the attraction. Overall it was a good experience visiting this bell tower, if I ever visit again I would go on top of the tower.

If you're traveling nearby then it's worth a stop. We didn't go up the tower since we had only a short stay in the area, but it was fun to take pictures and see another impressive structure in Italy. Unfortunately, they don't let you on the grass around the tower anymore so it's a little trickier to get some of the unique photos you find online, but still a fun experience.

Pictures simply doesn’t do it justice. A beautiful place, not just the tower; the whole scene is simply spectacular. I totally enjoyed the experience. Everything was relatively simple. Be prepared to for a lot of steps, the climb is a bit tough, but definitely worth it. An easy 5 stars. Would definitely recommend it to others.

The famous tower. It's worth climbing to the top but you have to book ahead. The official website takes bookings up to 20 days before your visit. You take an allocated slot. The climb is not too arduous and you can pause along the way. You get some great views of the area, although Pisa is not as pretty as other towns.

We all have seen this wonder in photos. But the majesty and the magnificence really bowls you over. Please don't pay heed to any reviews that call it underwhelming. She is grand and resplendent! One hour train ride from Florence @8 euro.

We recently had the privilege of visiting the iconic Learning Tower of Pisa, and I must say, it exceeded every expectation I had. This architectural masterpiece truly lives up to its reputation as one of the world's most renowned landmarks. The interior of the Learning Tower of Pisa is equally impressive. As I ascended the spiral staircase, the sense of history and wonder deepened with every step. The views from the top are nothing short of breathtaking. The panoramic vistas of the surrounding cityscape are amazing and offer a unique perspective on Pisa's rich heritage. What truly stood out to us was the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff. Their enthusiasm for sharing the tower's history and significance added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit. It's evident that they take great pride in preserving this cultural treasure and in making every visitor's experience unforgettable.

Leaning Tower of Pisa is the most iconic marble monument of Italy! The Leaning Tower of Pisa was a beautiful tower with some great architecture. Entering the area there is a massive park facing the Pisa, this is a great spot to take creating pictures at different angles. There is also a beautiful cathedral that you can have a sneak peak of. I recommend going to the Pisa by a Tour Guide because it is a 1h 30min ride. It is a must to read the boards to learn interesting facts about Pisa. Leaving Pisa there are many souvenir shops, you can pick out a souvenir or two to mark this memorable moment.

I have to say... I was more impressed with the experience here than I was anticipating. We visited as part of a tour through a cruise and figured we would be here and gone quickly. The grounds were gorgeous and the tower was beautiful. It was a very busy day but people were polite and courteous to others trying to get their fun shots with the tower. Very cool experience!

Iconic peace of history made of marvel stone. Impressive museum and Church. I used the train to get here. If you don't mind walking it's just a 20 minute walk from the train station. There's even a luggage deposit near by that you can rent to leave your stuff in. Once you get there. Buy a ticket to enter the tower and all the rest of buildings. If you like history it's a very interesting place to visit.

This totally met my expectations! A really fascinating and beautiful piece of architecture. I’d recommend buying tickets in advance to climb up although some tickets were available on the day I went (mid October and not high season). The majority of the steps are fine to climb although the very last section is a little worn and the tilting can make you feel a little ‘wobbly’ The views are great and is highly recommend it

Worth seeing but not what I expected which really was my fault. First arriving and parking: the parking lots are located about 1.5 kilometers away from the square taking about 20 minutes walk. It was HOT when we were there. We should have considered more heat precautions. Shops: so many shops peddling tourists goods of all shapes and sizes. Purses, shirts, pins, etcetera. Very few are worth while and had I known there was a proper gift shop I would have waited for it. It's located inside near the tower. Site: make sure to walk around and take in the structures from all the given angles. Tickets for the climb to the top of tower are worth it. There is also a small fountain on the corner inside where you can get some refreshing water from a small phallic out cropping. Also worth seeing.

Very touristy but still very pretty. Worth a view if you're in Pisa. There are still plenty of places to get a photo and the other buildings are also very pretty. All round good visit. Didn't go inside but there's something about free entry to the cathedral, couldn't work it out.

It was so great to finally get to see this iconic historical structure. The grounds surrounding the tower are surprisingly serene, with large grassy areas shaded by the other buildings, creating comfortable places to relax. The tower itself is magnificent, with it's 5 degree lean creating a surreal feeling. The climb to the top is well worth the effort, and the worn steps indicate just how many others have made the same trip. The view from the top is spectacular, but it is there is a bit of an uneasy feeling in the back of your mind, knowing that you are actually standing on a structure that is leaning. A bucket list item for sure.

I recommend getting there early in the morning, it's really peaceful and there aren't many people around. Buying tickets in advance is also recommended, you will then have to leave your stuff at the wardrobe and then line up to enter. The entrance is divided in groups, your group will have a precise hour at which you will enter, so you have to come at least 15 minutes before. Green pass is needed to access the tower. The steps are a bit worn-out, so you should wear comfortable shoes. The view is amazing, you can really see all the city from up there, you might feel a bit of seasickness because of the inclination

During my recent visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I found the iconic structure to be architecturally intriguing. The surrounding square is well-maintained, providing a pleasant atmosphere for tourists. However, the interior of the tower is limited in terms of attractions, primarily consisting of the spiraling staircase. While the leaning angle adds a unique element, the overall experience might be brief for those seeking more comprehensive historical or cultural insights. Overall, it's a must-see landmark, but the visit might be more appreciated by architecture enthusiasts.

Obviously a must see when visiting Italy. I paid to go up the tower which was a cool experience and felt strange Walking in a building that is leaning! The view from the top is amazing essentially of the neighboring buildings. You cannot bring you bag inside the tower so be sure to drop it off the locker room (free of charge with ticket) beforehand and you can collect it after. Don't forget to get some great pics 😁

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a world-famous architectural wonder in Italy. Its distinct tilt and stunning white marble construction make it an awe-inspiring sight to behold. Standing tall at approximately 55.86 meters, the tower's lean is a result of its unstable foundation and soft ground. Despite its unintended lean, the tower has become an enduring symbol of human ingenuity and resilience, attracting countless visitors who come to admire its beauty and capture memorable photographs.

It's obviously a historical failure in construction, but a monument to how hard Italy has worked to preserve its own history. Definitely worth the trip, and being able to take a photo of yourself holding up the tower is worth the short walk from the train station in itself. Before visiting and getting more information, my uneducated self didn't realize that it's the Bell Tower to the beautiful church and baptistery, so it's definitely worth taking the time to read the materials or grab an audio tour for the full history and insights into why it leans.

  • 5/5 Burt K. 8 months ago on Google
The leaning tower definitely met expectations and half the fun is taking pics trying to hold it up. The cathedral and baptistry were amazing buildings unto themselves and were more impressive. It was definitely worth the trip to hop over from Florence but not much else to do other than the Tower. If you plan on doing the tours and walking up the tower you can still just plan a 4 to 5 hour visit and do everything there.

Cool monument to visit. Not sure why you can’t cross over into the grass and take pictures but I guess it protects the grass. Brought a ticket to go to the top which was beautiful. It can feel weird going up and down the stairs since the tower is “leaning” I’m sure me having a drink before didn’t help. Awesome to see up close. They have lockers to put your belongings in while you tour. Also went during the sunset so pretty amazing!

That is a small adventure to get on the top of Pisa tower. The all bags have to leave on locker center near of ticket office. Otherwise you will not be allowed to go on the top of Pisa tower. The all tickets entrance to tower are according to exact time. All other tickets into museums around are at time you want, during they are open. All museums around of Pisa tower and Basilica is good to visit with guide or audio guide at least! Otherwise it is a wasted money for museum's entrance tickets. By the way, there is no audio guide in russian language available, even not in the app as well. The public toilet cost is 1 eur/ person. As the minuses are not regardind Pisa tower, then I put still 5 stars for Pisa Tower only, not for full area. Covid19 pass or green pass is required for visiting inside! Not needed outside.

This stunning architectural masterpiece with its characteristic tilt is a must-see for any visitor to the Tuscany region. It is one of the most famous landmarks in Italy and is part of the complex surrounding the Pisa Cathedral. Here, one can experience history up close and admire the incredible structure that has been attracting tourists from all over the world for centuries! The tower is, to me, a masterpiece of human ingenuity and a symbol of man's ability to overcome even the most difficult challenges. It is also a delightful and soothing feeling to enjoy the sunny spring on the fresh green lawn of this building complex and let one's soul rest...🤩!

I’ve heard many opinions and that there is not much to do in Pisa.. I won’t agree! Beautiful complex to visit and explore! I visited only for 2 days and regret. It’s worth going up the tower for a stunning sunset. Loads of stairs bit uneven so get ready for sweats and keeping balance because while climbing you will feel it is actually leaning tower! 😁 Nice place to come and sit by night. This place has amazing atmosphere! Left a piece of myself here for sure. Loads of people posing which is quite funny so don’t get surprised. If you have ability to rent a car do it and visit cities next to Pisa with lovely beaches.

Fantastic historical monument! The complex includes Tower, Piazza del Duomo and Cathedral di Pisa. There was a parking close to complex with good price, although when leaving, there was issue with gate and not charged :)) There is a bazar in front and inside. To go inside the tower, need to have a ticket for 20 euro which usually comes with 1-hour wait. Ticket for the rest of the facility, will come with 7 bucks more, all for 27. I would suggest get the ticket for whole, and once you see the Piazza and cathedral, it will be your turn to get into the leaning tower. I liked to small Halal restaurant in front of the area. Overall, it will be a great experience to spend 2 – 3 hours over there.

Another bucket list location. Very busy on the day. The weather was great and got clear views of all the main buildings. We came by train from Civitavecchia to Pisa and stored our luggage at the station for 5€ a piece. A 25-minute leisurely walk, mostly level, both ways. A lovely market area just before the heritage site allows for a variety of eating options as well as the usual curios and souvenirs.

Wow! It’s so so amazing place nice and beautiful view from the top is just so amazing and if you wish to climb up to the top of the leaning tower of Pisa I recommend to buy ticket online as they will let you in as per your time slot that you have booked then you can manage your time before climbing up or after to visit other place such as museum , church and the other places near by they have many choices of the ticket you can book one or two or all the places at that area

A quick visit as it was extremely hot and very busy. Travelled on the train from Florence, an hour on the Trenitalia express. Approx. £65 return for 4 of us. Walked from the railway station straight to the area, about 20 minutes...easy route! Didn't go inside any of the buildings but would recommend buying tickets before you travel.

This is an iconic tower. The tilt is only 4 degree but very very visible. A must see when you are in the Tuscany region. We did a day trip from Florence. The journey to & fro was very comfortable in the train, we booked the tickets just 2 days in advance. Do book the tickets for going inside the tower in advance too. Yes, you can walk up the tower right to the top and treat yourself to some mesmerising views! You'll feel the tilt even while walking up, don't miss this experience! Remember, they don't allow you to take anything inside, even big purses are not allowed. Avail the free locker facility to keep your belongings but you'll need to budget time for this. The Cathedral here is also very beautiful, you can buy a combo ticket which includes this.

  • 5/5 Guy A. 8 months ago on Google
You can't come to Pisa and not visit the tower and the surrounding buildings. Make sure you book in advance as we bought the tickets on the day so had to wait till 4.30 until we could go up the tower. The climb isn't hard, but as it can get busy, you'll jostle on the winding staircase with people going in the opposite direction. Beautiful buildings and great photo ops. If you buy an all areas pass, the time flies quite quickly.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an iconic marvel. Its famous tilt is as impressive in person as in pictures. Climbing its spiraling staircase offers unique views and a touch of adventure. Surrounding the Square of Miracles, it's a fascinating glimpse into Italy's architectural history, a must-visit for tourists. Other than the leaning tower, there is really nothing much nearby.

  • 5/5 The two S. 6 months ago on Google
Much more impressive in person, which is rarely the case with these types of attractions. The lean is actually quite dramatic. The tower and cathedral are very beautiful and quite large. Check it out for yourself! We didn't go in or stay very long, but even with the fairly large crowds it was easy to find a place for photos. Be aware that taxis are hard to come by in Pisa. You can walk to and from the train station if you're game- it takes about 25 minutes at a decent pace.

Definitely, one of the must go places you should see within your lifetime! The entry in and out to get to the tower is fairly easy to navigate. Once you walk towards the tower, you can see many people doing different poses with the it 👀 It looks like you can walk up the tower, but if you just want to see and take the obligating photo, that definitely works! 💖

Has to been seen to believed, stunning architecture throughout the site. Well worth buying tickets in advance if you want to enter the buildings. What an amazing sight as you enter the grounds through the gates. The buildings are incredible and beautifully maintained. A long line for entry up the Tower so make sure you have plenty of time. Tourist gift shops and eateries (and supermarket with WC) located outside the entry gates.

Lovely monument. Busy and crowded outside. Don't miss the short video in one of the galleries where they showed the process of reversing the include of the tower to preserver it. Highlight was the cafe/museum at the corner of the site. The museum had a compact but varied exhibit. The gem was the strangely quiet garden court yard which as empty and meditative in the shadow of the tower. The cafe's food was very good and prices reasonable.

What an amazing building to see when coming to Italy. It’s amazing how it’s leaning and hasn’t moved a lot during these past centuries. I really enjoyed being here and I would definitely recommend you to come. One thing to note is that when doing your famous leaning tower pose, there will be a lot of people walking in front of you. So just be weary of that

We had a good time in Pisa. And we climbed the tower. It was well over 500 steps. I can't quite remember how many at the moment but it does lean when you walk. Beautiful view when you get to the top. *Heads up Go to the coat room and check your stuff before you get in the line to the tower. We were not told that and I just happened to ask the grilled checking everybody in at the line if we were in the right line she said we had to go to the coat room first. So I'm glad I didn't wait till we got through the line. It wasn't an any instructions that we got when we bought our tickets through viator.

It was fun visiting The Leaning Tower of Pisa! It was not overly crowded as we visited early in the morning at around 8:30AM. It's the best time to visit as you can click good pictures without much crowd. We did not enter inside the tower not any other place nearby but you can enter by purchasing a combined ticket of all the monuments along with the tower. The tickets are easily available at the counter nearby. You can also enjoy coffee and snacks outside the place as there are few cafes nearby.

Pisa is a small town that is easily all walkable. You can easily walk to the Leaning Tower of PIsa, and the Baptistery and museums in the tower plaza, from the railway station. If you visit it during quieter times, such as the weekdays/winter, you can really admire the beauty and peacefulness of the tower plaza. Note that the Baptistery is free to visit, but you have to get free tickets at the ticket office, in the plaza. There are also tickets to visit the museum, climb the tower, and the other buildings there, these cost money.

It looks more "leaning" in person than what you see in pictures. We recommend booking tower entry tickets in advance if you plan to climp up the tower. However, just visiting the outside does not need any entry ticket.

Leaving tower as always majestic , the whole ticket 27 euros, but wall walk not included and no discount if any venues closed. Downfall they could offer a stamp card as a memory for day and a badge for kids to remember the occasion. Area clean, safe and fun. Lots of smiling faces perfect city break and best off all just sit and gaze at the buildings, down point seeing homeless people in such a rich city.

Well it's a tower and it's leaning. So there's that, I guess. Pretty cool with the history and all. And you get to sit back and watch people do the "Thriller" move. Good times. I didn't have to buy tickets. The gate was opened and we just went in. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Was scarily amazing! I got to see a lot of Pisa from up there! Just be prepared for some cardio, there isn't an elevator and you have to but tickets for a specific time. They give you an electronic device that keeps count of your steps(?) As you move through the tower. Just be safe and you'll have fun (fear) as you ascend and see the sights.

Who has not heard of the leaning tower in Pisa? The phenomenon of this monument mainly lies in the fact that it is the result of an architectural error. Nevertheless, it is worth not only seeing and taking a popular photo in which we maintain my faith or try to straighten it, but also climb it to see a beautiful view of the other monuments.

It was a beautiful day and it was so close to our hotel. The people of Pisa are do much friendlier than those in Rome.

This 55 metre tall tower is incredible! A part of Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), this is a must visit place. Make sure to buy the extra ticket in order to visit the top! And be in good shape😀

I thought this place was more excited / beautiful than I expected. Yes, there are a lot of tourists, but it was worth it. The tower is impressive. The city itself not that exciting, restaurants outside the circle of the tower are pretty good!

There is so much more to the park with the tower than just the tower. We went right before twilight, and the church, baptistry, and tower were luminous in the setting sun. The Tower is much more beautiful than I thought it would be. The architectural decorations were lovely and gave the impression of a super tall wedding cake.

Beautiful! Book the tickets online and it is worth the price to see everything from the above as well. The cathedral is for free, Camposanto is interesting but the Tower is a must see.

Having read about leaning tower of Pisa in school books and heard a lot about it from travelers, visiting it was a dream come true experience for me. For one of my project assignments at ST Microelectronics I was stationed in Southern France in Nice. At one of the weekends, I was able to visit this central Italian city in the Toscana region by car with one of my friend colleague. The drive itself was so interesting that I was totally immersed in the scenic beauty of the region. This tower is actually a bell tower of the city Cathedral and it is one of the four buildings that make up the entire cathedral complex. The place is popularly known as "The Square of Miracles" and is an icon of Roman Architecture. Usually this place is crowded with tourists and locals. Lots of hawkers selling foods and other snacks. Souvenir shops selling local handicrafts and models of the leaning tower are very common along the pathway to the tower.

Seeing this place on postcards or web pages is definitely not the same to see it live. Prices are quite high. 20€ per person to enter the tower only. No reduced or family tickets. No queue to buy tickets - maybe it depends on day and time. The cathedral ticket is free but you must have one to enter.

The leaning tower was super cool to see. It's fun taking all the cool photos with the tower and making them look funny. My kids loved all the photos! Cool little town outside the area with great food, wine, and gelato.

You can buy your ticket online or in person and the price will be the same. A full tour will be 27 euro but personally I recommend if you don't have time, just go for the tower and the cathedral. For the tower , you are not allowed to take any bag or purse with you inside. They have provided a free cloakroom which you can leave your stuff there but 10 min before your ticket time. If you miss your tower time they will not allow you to go up.

I was visiting Bologna and decided to take a little side trip to a nearby city; I picked Pisa. It was a clear hot day, perfect for picture taking. I was surprised by how much the tower leaned so I couldn’t bring myself to walk up the steps to the top. I got on a Moviride bike and rode through the city and explored. A city worth visiting and enjoying. One lovely little town.

Beautiful place with a few stunning buildings worth checking out. We went at night and had not a lot of people around, a lot of young groups were chilling on the grass even though its not allowed. Really enjoyed the area ❤️

I enjoyed this visit very much and the ticket we got included the visit to the tower and 5 other buildings, which I think was worth it. We enjoyed the museum's very much and got the best view of the tower from one of them. The tower itself is a lot more impressive on the outside, inside you can feel the inclination and it's very cramped, the stairway is small so it was a bit difficult with people coming up and down at the same time. I have vertigo but this wasn't a problem for me to actually come up to the tower

Beautiful architectural work🥰. A real mesmerizing treat for one's eyes🤩🤩 It's surprising to know that it is about 56 meters high and took about 300 years to be build. Other fact which is said by the historicians is that , the slant of the tower to the earth level is increasing every year. The top most view from the tower is breath taking. Really recommended... must see at least once in your life if you are visiting Europe.

The area surrounding the tower with the duomo, is actually really nice! The whole thing looks different in reality than what I imagined, quite surprising. Lots of tourists on the premises, as expected, but also lots of areas to see the sights from different angles

Simple place but one of the world wonders so better don’t miss this spot when you’re in Italy. Bit far away from the city centre but very easy to reach, also but crowded when we visited there. One important thing is kids under age 6 will not be allowed to enter the tower, it was bit disappointing for us but it’s a safety measure so plan accordingly!

This is a breathtaking place that I'd always wanted to visit and it did not disappoint. It was very disconcerting walking up the tower and falling over as it lent to one side of course. Even when you come out you're a bit disconcerted because you can't stand up straight! The cathedral and the baptistery were both wonderful as well. We had beautiful weather and to crown off a perfect day, the museum, full of statues and ancient relics, was a site to behold. There are wonderful cheap cafés nearby for excellent refreshments as well. My one piece of advice would be to buy a ticket for all the sites before getting there.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a famous landmark located in the city of Pisa, Italy. Its construction began in 1173 and took almost 200 years to complete. The tower is known for its distinctive lean, which is caused by an inadequate foundation. It is made of white marble and stands over 56 meters tall. The tower is a popular tourist attraction, and visitors can climb to the top to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding city.

Splurge on the tram from the parking area to the actual site. Well worth the cost - especially in June! The site itself was spectacular; the Duomo was more interesting than the tower, IMO. The architecture and history ... just amazing! We were thankful to have had a local/knowledgeable guide to share the "secrets" of the area with us.

A great experience. 100% Worth a visit. We stayed in Florence and caught the train to Pisa. It cost €8, which we were really surprised with. A great price. Trains were very busy as it was Easter weekend, but very clean and efficient. We were told that there’s nothing in Pisa but the Tower, but quite surprised to see a lot more. I’d highly recommend giving yourself half a day or even a whole day in Pisa and being able to appreciate the Tower and also it’s surroundings. The Leaning Tower is a masterful piece of Architecture which you don’t appreciate till you stand outside. It really does lean. The angle is astonishing. The Baptistery is also a phenomenal looking building. The train station is a 20 min walk to and fro the Tower. A nice pleasant walk. Definitely worth a visit. 💫

A rare 5 star tourist trap. A must visit. Don't just wander around the outside you HAVE to go inside and to the top. That's right you can hike up the 269 spiraling stairs and view the plaza from the rooftop. I highly recommend you buy tickets in advance online to ensure you skip the ticket queue and get to visit the tower at the time and date you want. Time slots fill up fast in busy days.

Had fun taking pics. Daughter came up with the idea of taking pics where it looks like your holding up or pushing the tower of Pisa. Came out pretty good. Works best if you use wide angle lens on your phone has a better affect. If you plan on climbing the tower order tickets well in advance.

Why doesn't anyone mention the other buildings at this site. The tower is wonderfully ornate and looks almost impossible at such an angle. But for me, the winner is the Baptistry and the outer walls, which are both incredible for quite different reasons. You must try the walk along the wall , which offers great views and us usually much quieter.

Been here a few times, a couple times as a kid back in the 80's and a couple times as an adult. Of course 5 stars, it's free to go look at it and pictures don't do it justice. Highly advise going during the winter. Way too many people, especially this year. Best part of it is watching all the people taking the obligatory 'hold up the tower' photos 🤣 one could argue that that's worth it in itself hahaha!

Absolutely stunning architecture with multiple buildings on site to look at. Beautiful little coffee shops and cafes nearby to the side as well as gift shops. Well kept grounds and grass and the buildings are kept up well and clean. There are also plaques next to the tower with the history and construction information provided in multiple languages. Great photo opportunity and not too busy when I visited in December

It's a beautiful spot to see and take pictures. Located in the middle of the town, the route leads you through romantic and picturesque alleys and street. It's definitely worth a stop-over break if you pass nearby. I enjoyed seeing the tower and eating lovely food, but I wouldn't arrive here as my only holiday destination place. It's also amazingly crowded in the summer season. Heat was unbelievable 🔥, remember to take plenty of water 💧 Other places you could have seen before for free are at the charge in 2023- museum or Gardens

Beautiful leaning tower, if you want to climb I'd suggest booking ahead. As gets very busy. Was full on a weekday but still space to take photos and enjoy the beauty and the tower defying gravity.

In my recent trip in month of sunny August, I had privilege of visiting this beautiful piece of art which took almost 200 years to build. This architecture really make you surprise with a ton of history behind these walls. It'll cost €20 for visiting inside the tower or €10 if you don't want to visit the tower top. In this price, all the other architecture entry is included.
