Amazing! Definitely all the pictures and videos you can see from this place does not truly honor the experience of being actually there. The views from the top of the tower worth the climb. The place is very clean, well maintained and well guarded.

Many of us associate Pisa only with the belief curve. However, it is part of a group of 4 monuments, called Piazza del Duomo. It consists of: 1. The Leaning Tower 2. Department 3. The Baptistery 4. Cemetery They are all amazing in their own way and worth and even must see.

I did this as a day trip in-between travelling from Florence to Rome. Definitely worth seeing but glad I only spent a couple of hours here as there isn't loads to do. The cloakroom (included with the tower ticket) is free and easy to use. You aren't allowed any bags in the tower.

This place is breathtaking. If you come when the day is sunny, contrast of the grass color, the sky and the tower will be perfect for good photo. It is best to come in the morning because it is less crowded. You can buy magnet souvenirs for just one euro

A beautiful cathedral complex. The architecture "in person" is impressive, which positively surprised us. Be sure to see each of the buildings, not just the tower itself. The place itself is spacious, on sunny days good for relaxation. Tourists a lot, we were in May, so before the peak season.

It is sort of special. There's this overwhelming feeling when you enter the Piazza and see the tower in real life. Or maybe it's just me. A parking area is conveniently situated nearby. I recommend buying tickets online if you plan to climb the tower or enter the Duomo.

I had a great time here. Lots of photo ops and lovely grass where you can sit and relax. I took the €10 ticket which included entry to the cathedral, baptistery, camposanto and museums totally worth it in my opinion I loved the art work in the camposanto. To climb the tower is €20 I believe but I did not venture up there.

It’s world famous, it’s immediately recognisable and it’s fun to take photos. Staff workers around the area will refuse to take photos for you, there apparently is a charge for walking on the grass. If you want to see secret grave yard etc, you need to buy tickets and then venture over, otherwise you won’t gain access. I found taking photos from the opposite a lot quieter and more personal (away from coach drop off).

Icons don't get much more iconic than this. It's worth going up the tower for the view at the top, and just to say you have been there. The church the bell tower is for is impressive too, and definitely worth a visit.

Hot, crowded, but astounding to look at. The whole piazza is beautiful with the 3 buildings. To get into the Baptist church or leabing tower you must purchase a ticket, which will then include one to the church. However they do give it a predetermined number of tickets to the cathedral every half hour if you do not want to purchase the Baptist church or leaning tower.

Very nice plaza. First time here and it was absolutely amazing experience. Most of this place it was built between 12 and 16 century, and how still standing, they way still looks its awesome. The whole plaza is something else you need to experience. The Cathedral sculpture inside and out are amazing, incredible designs in every angle. The tower very nice, also the rest of the buildings in this plaza are very good and deserves more than five stars.

Great place. Keep in mind that buying all inclusive ticket in the ticket ticket shop is always cheaper. Also when you go inside the museums you get different views on Pisa tower and etc.

Great historical place. The tower looks spectacular and it’s history is amazing. Lots of market stalls and shops. Plus a variety of restaurants. As it is a quite touristy place you also expect higher prices. Still, some places provide very good ratio on price and quality. Parking facilities very close and easy to get to.

Great place and a must visit landmark when you are in Italy. Located about an hour train ride from Florence, the piazza consists of 3 iconic landmarks. A great place to take photos and have fun taking photos with your family and friends. It is free to walk around the piazza but there is an admission fee for entering each building.

Piazza del Duomo is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! Surrounded by magnificent architectural wonders, this square is a true cultural hub. The star attraction, Florence Cathedral, dominates the skyline with its stunning dome, designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, and is the largest brick dome ever constructed. The vibrant atmosphere of the square, bustling with locals and tourists, adds to its charm. Don't miss the chance to explore the nearby Baptistery and Giotto's Campanile for a complete experience of Florentine art and history. Piazza del Duomo is a must-visit destination that will leave you awe-inspired and immersed in the rich heritage of Florence.

Amazing and surreal place to visit. If you are only there for couple of hours and want to go into leaning tower book the tickets in advance. Definitely a place to visit

We had a guide who told us about the "WOW" moment when you first see everything but that doesn't prepare you for when you see it all with your own eyes. The history behind the architecture and design is fascinating too.

The piazza is wonderful even if it's cloudy outside. The view from the tower is also stunning! Strongly recommend to climb up the tower and visit the cathedral ✨ the piazza overall is free but I recommend to buy tickets one day in advance for your visit. We used get you guide.

Wow... this miracle of architectural is even more impressive when seen live. I recommend buying a combined ticket for all attractions in Piazza del Duomo, because each place is truly magical! The price is 27€ and it is best to book it online. Just magical place with amazing architectural!!!

  • 5/5 David N. 7 months ago on Google
Wonderful tourist attraction! We loved this place - visiting the leaning tower and the other structures. Going to the top of the tower was the highlight, but make sure you buy ahead of time, because it can sell out! Also, we got the bundle deal to include the various other structures entries, and though it was a good deal.

  • 5/5 Benjamin A. 4 months ago on Google
Highly recommend seeing everything in the piazza. If you want good food, walk to the other side of the river. Buy tickets online in advance. No bags are allowed inside the tower.

I visited Piazza del Duomo on a sunny day in August. The square was crowded with people, but I was able to find a spot to stand and take in the amazing sight of the Leaning Tower. I was in awe of its size and beauty, and I couldn't help but smile as I took pictures and imagined what it would be like to climb to the top. After admiring the Leaning Tower for a while, I wandered around the square and took a closer look at the other buildings. The Cathedral is a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture, and I was impressed by the intricate detail of the sculptures on the facade. The Baptistery is also a stunning building, and I enjoyed walking around the interior and admiring the white marble columns. I spent a few hours exploring Piazza del Duomo, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It is a truly unique and special place, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Pisa. * I was expecting a lot from this place and it totally amused me. * As usual, people from different countries were visiting this piece of art and the atmosphere was cheerful even on this scorching heat. Everyone were giving their best pose possible 😉 * In the square apart from the tower their are other important buildings, such as visiting the Cathedral or the Baptistery. * Fun fact, did you know that the Leaning Tower is actually sinking? So, happy to visit this terminal tower. I hope w tge humanity will find some solution for this problem 🤗 I hope this helps!

In this square, there's the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The way it's built is quite fascinating. Almost everyone who comes here wants to take a picture while pretending to hold up the leaning tower with their hands. It's a fun and popular thing to do!

  • 5/5 Just S. 6 months ago on Google
Wow! Arrived when the sun was about to set, so the reflection were perfect. It was the end of summer, so it was still crowded, but that's fine. At least we can enjoy the birds, landscape, etc. Be alert accepting the bird feeding from strangers, they will suddenly ask you for a fee.

"My visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa was a remarkable experience. The iconic tower's distinctive tilt is as awe-inspiring as it appears in photos. Climbing to the top provides breathtaking views of Pisa and its surroundings. The history and architectural marvel of this UNESCO World Heritage site are truly captivating. Don't miss the opportunity to snap the classic 'holding up the tower' photo while here. A must-visit destination for anyone exploring Italy's rich cultural heritage."

A nice park area with the cathedral and leaning tower of Pisa. We walked around the area and saw visitor can get free pass to enter cathedral so we went for it. If you aren’t in a hurry, definitely recommend to walk around and this piazza has an exhibition and museum that you can visit too.

  • 5/5 Fabio N. 2 years ago on Google
When I went there it was pretty empty so me and my girlfriend got to experience the leaning tower by ourselves even if it was just from the outside. Very impressive tower and the city is lovely.

Siena is an adorable city and I definitely want to be back! Piazza del Duomo is beautiful, actually has incredible views. I recommend to buy the ticked for all the acropolis, because it's worthy 😉

  • 4/5 Karin S. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful treasure of Italian history and architecture. Besides the tower, also the duomo, the campo santo and the battistero deserve to be carefully visited!

  • 5/5 Peter L. 2 years ago on Google
Definitely worth climbing the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Its worth it to not just see it. Buying getting a ticket without going through a cruise or an organized tour may be tough to do. You fell like you're walking level when you are parallel to the lean and it becomes very steep when you are perpendicular to it.

Is a great place where you can discover all the art of Italy! One of the best places in Italy. You should go there and check the place. Better with a guide to discover all the Secrets that Piazza del Duomo can hide! You will never forget this place

Use the other train station then the central station to go there. It is very close to it. If you need any souvenir you can buy it In the small bazaar in front of it with reasonable prices. Just amazing

Loved visiting Pisa .. the Dumo did not disappoint it was much nicer inside than the one in Florence. The museums were definitely worth visiting.

A magnificent duomo - or a domed cathedral, the basilisc, a museum and the leaning tower all flanked by a beautiful park. Probably as close to how it was hundreds of years ago, give or take a few tourists. Now was I just lucky or was this a place totally free of touts, pick pockets and orher low-lives? A peaceful place full of friendly tourists and creative souls trying to draw the structures. Easy to come in contact with the people here. Not everyone are going to be a famous artist, but be nice and give compliments to the aspiring artists and you may end getting one of tjeir drawings. I did and it was a pleasure offering a coffee back. Good times!

Another must see while you are visiting Italy! This is the place that I knew sense childhood. Never think one day I can physically visited this historic place! You better come before 10:00AM in the summer vacation season, because it gets really crowded really quick! The details of three main structures are amazing, I can spend all day here to admire! I can only praise the Lord that by His Mercy and Grace, for this lifetime experience!

Awesome work of art, but there are many of those in Italy. This place is too touristy to my liking, but one has to have been there once anyway.

Absolutely stunning architecture, but gets pretty crowded starting from about 9 am. But early morning is simply majestic. Tickets to go to the tower are very expensive.

  • 4/5 K C. 1 year ago on Google
A pretty cool place to visit. The interior of the cathedral is absolutely incredible! We spent hours in there admiring the windows, painting and sculptures. The Baptistery is also interesting. I could not go inside the Tower as I can’t climb stairs, but it was wonderful to see it with my own eyes.

  • 5/5 Elapsing P. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice plaza, full of beautiful architecture. Recommended to visit the other buildings as they're actually more beautiful than the leaning tower, but just don't get enough recognition due to them not being leaning. Also, beautiful grass.

  • 5/5 Rita K. 1 year ago on Google
Crowded, but still bucket list item. Whichever ticket you choose, do not miss visiting the cathedral. If you have the chance, enjoy the acoustic exhibition in the baptistery: it is beyond imagination what a single voice and an amazing echo are capable of! 😀

  • 5/5 PHG !. 1 year ago on Google
Outstanding! Magnificent! Awesome! To see is to believe how large and detailed this building is and of course the history attached to it is crazy. So very very good. The church dominates not only the skyline but also the immediate surroundings. It is a central point of navigation and reference around the city. It is so good.

  • 5/5 Denys 1 year ago on Google
Amazing and stunning . Don’t forget to take something to cover the shoulders so you can walk inside the church because it’s very pretty. If you wanna see the whole piazza you can climb the city wall for 5€ and see it from above from different sides .
