This is a tough review. The golf course? A must play. Great conditions, no doubt. However, the membership is not valued at all. After being a member for many years, I decided to relinquish my membership. We found out how little the management values our business. No response was given after kindly voicing any concern. Go play the course but i would not recommend being a member.

Gorgeous grounds and very friendly staff!

Excellent golf instructors for young players. They are patient and the kids have fun learning the game. The restaurant is well done and the selection is top notch. The waiters are attentive and the management truly cares about the member experience.

Place was under construction, but was a nice Golf course. Drinks were a bit under poured. Hope for great construction results.

Excellent service from start to finish. We went for brunch and were not disappointed. Probably one of the best and perfectly cooked omelettes I've had anywhere. The Eggs Benedict and breakfast tacos were also enjoyed by others. That, the beautiful views and the fact you can't lose any balls having breakfast made it the perfect outing with friends.

Great club, played with a friend who is a new member there. High quality club and when their remodel is complete, I’m sure it will be even better!

Scratch golfer review: Gentle Creek is a beautiful track that winds lightly through neighborhoods. The fairways are beautifully manicured and visually impressive from tee boxes. Layout of the course kept me curious and felt it was fair without unnecessary tricks. Played the course from the tips and while long on paper firm fairways felt like it was a few hundred yards shorter with those perfect conditions. Final thin I'll touch on is the greens and collars. Gentle Creek has very fast greens but definitely some of the best rolling true greens I've EVER PLAYED IN THE COUNTRY....WOW. those greens demand respect but will reward well struck putts, absolutely top notch. Overall course rate - 93 comparable to Torrey pines in quality or Cowboys Club in Tx.

Gentle Creek Country Club has been a disappointing experience. The facilities are outdated, service is lacking, and the overall atmosphere doesn't justify the high fees. Improvement is needed to meet expectations.

Gentle Creek says they are "consistently rated in the Top 4 Rated Golf Clubs in DFW, Top 20% in Texas." By whom? I can't seem to find those reviews. e.g., Yelp has this course rated at 3.0 – which BTW matches my own rating. My review is they are overpriced and have an over inflated opinion of themselves (ref. their claims). The course is nice don't get me wrong it played well. But not for the price they charge. Also, if I walk, I must rent one of their trolleys (which means I can’t use the one I spent $900). Finally, the practice areas are underwhelming. They have a range, but the short game area is almost nonexistent--all I can do is chip and put. The restaurant also is nice but it to is overpriced—just like everything else at this club. So all in all thanks; but, no thanks.

Great track and fantastic folks. Greens roll with some of the best in Texas right now. Fairways are firm and undulation allows for some long drives. Undoubtedly a treat for the advanced player. Once the clubhouse is up and running I would expect this club to climb in prestige, so get out there if you get the chance
