I'm only giving it a two star because at least the place is built beautifully but the staff is a little uptight. I feel like if you're not rich, they don't give you the time of day. I'm just a normal I wouldn't say rich but not broke either person who is a parent and goes to college. I don't understand why they have to make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome when it's such a beautiful place and area. Never will I bring my kid here or even think about wasting my time here. Need more friendly staff like Montebello. Wish they had a YMCA in pico ♡

YMCA suppose to be more than a gym but now it look like any other gym. There are better gyms around in the city. So sad.

Today my client and I came to swim in the therapy pool the the remodeling of the women locker room is beautiful 😍 will definitely be back

It's my favorite Hangout get a great workout and then I'll head to the pool and the jacuzzi and I come out feeling great great staff and I love the lifeguards

I really enjoy going with my family just wish they would explain how things work we had to figure it out as we go... And the rock climbing still down..

This gym said they will wave initial fee if you show COVID Vaccination. This is an illegal practice.

Update your hours, takes a few clicks and saves your members time driving there only to find out its closed. Also, why is the east branch gym closed weekends? Hours are abysmal for the rates we're charged as members.

When my husband and I walk into the Uptown Y it's like being with family. Top notch friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always with a lovely quote on the whiteboard and smiles on all the members that they help. We're also part of the Travel Club and it is a fantastic group of travelers who get to safely travel to some great places that they may not otherwise be able to do on their own. Thank you Uptown YMCA😊

There is no information as to services available or hours. I pay every month and it feels like the Y is not even in business. If the Y is not open for use, tell your members. 0 stars was not an option. That would be my rating.

I love this Y. A lot better than the one in uptown which is swamped and parking is crazy. Plus this one is closer to me. The staff is really nice and helpful which is a mega plus for me.

Please provide a changing table for babies. Multiple changing tables. I don't understand how you can offer baby swim lessons and yet have nowhere for the mothers or fathers to change them. You do have a lactation room with a cot on the floor where I changed my daughter so that was nice. But there should really be changing tables in the men's and family locker rooms. Also please provide more seats for the parents that wait for their kids while in swim class. Many people are sitting on the floor or just standing. Very disappointed. Also every time we go the YMCA vans aren't parked in the designated Van parking spot, they are parked in the regular parking spots so there is less parking for us members. Please fix that as well.
