Amazing zoo There is a vast amount of animals and primates to see along with the amazing dolphin show and whale show. My kids were amazed at the size of the Whales and how they were able to do the tricks and soak the visitors. Myself and my partner were also really impressed. They had a large area to live and seemed well looked after and loved by there keepers. The dolphin show was really fun too and we were amazed how fast they were and how high they can leap out of the water . The other great highlights were the silver back gorillas and penguin enclosure. The gorillas were beautiful and posed for the camera. The penguin area did have a pretty bad smell but had staff spraying air freshener about . On the whole this is a very tidy and well kept zoo and I will visit again next time we go to Tenerife. Prices were reasonable with a coach to transport us to and from our hotel in the south of the island . We really could of done with 2 days at the park as there was so much to see and do Thanks for reading and please give me a like and follow me

We visited the place after reading rave reviews about it and we're overall very happy. I would rate the visit 4.5 stars only because the gorilla and lions looked really sad. I am sure that they receive the best care, but it still did feel bad seeing the sadness in their eyes. Otherwise the place is amazing - really well maintained and you can tell that all the animals are getting the best care possible. We managed to see all the shows and each was great in it's own way and totally worth it. Like others pointed out - make sure to plan your visit in advance as it will otherwise be difficult to see everything. We really liked the parrot area, the jungle and shark tank. Overall it is totally worth the admission fee. There is also a combined ticket for 70euro for both Loro Park and Siam Par, which is a good deal if you plan on visiting both. It is worth noting that parking costs 5euro for the day,but it is easy to find free parking places around.

Just amazing... I've visited Loro Parque recently and it's definitely a must see when in Tenerife. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable and they make the experience so much better. The park itself has a lot to offer in regards to animals they have and showing research they do in effort to save wild animals. The concept is just amazing with ability to see animals from all sides and even have a part where you can walk amongst parrots. I'd recommend checking schedule for live events and plan your visit accordingly. Keep up the good work and hope to see you again!

I went there today. I thought €42 was a bit expensive but once I arrived I was not disappointed. There is a lot to see and could easily take up a whole day. There are multiple shows throughout the day. Unfortunately I didn't get around to seeing any of them, but don't worry because just before you leave you can purchase a come back ticket for €13! Bargain. I bought my tickets online the day before so had no problem getting in, you can buy them on the day but the queue is massive for that. I would recommend getting there as early as possible because around 12-1pm they get extremely busy. I had to leave early because I couldn't deal with the amount of people there but that's a good thing! The environment is lovely, the staff are always smiling and there's many more different things to see than you'd get in a normal zoo. I'm well impressed, if I ever come on holiday to Tenerife again this will be a must visit on my list. There's plenty of places to sit and relax but they do fill up quickly around peak times. Here's a few of my favourite photos :) I would post more but I took over 200 there's that much to see!

I am usually not a great promoter of zoos. Still, we love animals and nature so we wanted to give the park a try. I was really impressed with the effort the place puts into helping the environment, supporting wildlife and making animal lives better through research and investment. I genuinely think this place makes a difference and is a safe haven for many beautiful animals. We were super impressed by the Aqua Viva section.

Spent my birthday here and what an amazing experience this was! I loved it. The park is big and it's really beautiful with all the plants and palm trees. The animal shows were unforgettable, I'd never seen anything like this before, even went for the dolphin show twice.

Visited on a Sunday and booked with travel agent. Park was reasonably busy but I did get to watch all of the shows. Highly recommend getting to the shows about half an hour before they start to guarantee getting a good seat. Be prepared to get wet when sitting in the splash zone area of the orca show. Macs are available to purchase for 3 euros. There is a dolphin show, sea lion show and loro show. Recommend watching all of them but my personal favourite was the sea lions. We took food and drink with us but the prices didn't seem too bad for a tourist attraction. There is lots of information about how the animals are treated and look after and it's good to read about that. The park isn't as big as it looks and everything can be seen within about 6 hours. I do think the entry price is a little expensive but still worth a visit in my opinion.

There is so much to see- you can easily spend the whole day there. It was such an amazing experience - we loved every moment. There are multiple shows you can attend- we went to the dolphin and sea lion and both were amazing, so many emotions. There are also plenty of different places to eat and benches to take a rest, as well as some souvenir shops. We got the tickets online on the official website but you can also purchase them at the place. I would recommend getting there early as around lunchtime it gets very busy.

Absolutely stunning setting! Loved the sea lion show, they're definitely the dogs of the sea! Went to see their show twice! The grounds are immaculate, truly the most beautiful man made place I've been and masks are enforced across the park so we felt safe. The tree tops display is stunning, especially if you're a bird lover! The jelly fish and shark tunnel had me mesmerized The free yellow shuttle train from town center is a definite bonus!

This is a must see attraction on Tenerife, its has beautiful surroundings and amazing walks, you could almost feel like you're in Thailand especially with authentic Thai architecture. We also booked a discovery tour that adds extra insights into the park's history and takes you behind the scenes. Conservation and preservation of wildlife throughout the world is a huge part of the park's agenda, shows are not only very entertaining but also educational in a fun way. Animals are very well kept and are extremely happy in the habitats provided. All exhibitions are breathtaking and a must see. The only downside is that the catering could be better. Overall amazing experience and would recommend to all big or small. 😀👍

Loro Park is a very beautiful park worth visiting if you spend some days in Tenerife. The animals are very well taken care of, and their spaces are clean and adapted to their needs. The whole park is like a jungle with many trees and plants, so its definitely worth a visit. I advice u to book in advance as the line to get tickets can be very long .

A great place to visit. They have a large range of animals and four shows which are more tailored to children and people who understand Spanish (especially the parrot show), but were still entertaining. I would recommend seeing all the shows first and then looking around the park after. Also make sure you avoid the splash zone in the whale show as you really do her drenched in water. It gets busy during the day with lots of people. But you can still get close to see the animals. There was a section closed off due to maintenance so the route to see things was a bit tricky, having to go backwards and forwards to try any find the places. They give a handy map, which you can get on your phone too. There are a number of places selling souvenirs and a few places selling food. There are also toilets dotted around the place. Overall I would recommend even if you don't have children with you. We spend around 5 hours here, but you could spend less or much more.

Nice animal show, I'm just not sure if it's right to have an orcas show... But otherwise the animals seem to be well taken care of and you get to see a lot of beautiful animals and especially parrots! There are long queues for individual shows - I recommend going to them at least 10-15 minutes in advance. The area is not big, so it is quite "tight", especially on the routes between individual shows. Parking in the area is 5 euros - the area around the park is hopelessly full of cars :)

Really really really good zoo! Very clean, very well maintained and very well indicated. The staff is so helpful and kind and happy! We asked a worker that was cleaning some glass wall what was indie and he said "I have the otter sleeping now, I will wake them up when I finish". It felt so heartwarming for the guy to talk about them like their own. The shows were really entertaining and funny, and they always show how much research they do and how much we should take care of the environment, very educational for both young and old. I regret not doing the private tours where they show you a lot more stuff about how they take good care of the animals, but there was just not enough time. 10/10 will come back again!

This place is amazing! They have such wonderful animals, all very well cared for. I love how their mission is to protect the animals and release them back into the wild when possible. The shows were well done, but also very informational. Almost everything was in both Spanish and English. I would love to go back again someday.

Wow! where to start with Loro Park. What an amazing experience. I'd recommend buying tickets in advance. Otherwise, you have to queue up twice. The park itself is well maintained, the animals are gorgeous and they are well looked after. The dolphin show is absolutely amazing, as well as the sea lion show. These alone are worth the money. These get quite busy. The parrot show is brilliant too. The whales are the ones to look out for, but be prepared to get absolutely soaking wet. We sat at the front and got drenched ( I wish I would have bought a poncho at 3 euros). They take your photo at the beginning, and you can purchase at the end for 9 euros. overall, it was a fantastic day, and my family and I loved it. The food is good quality and to be fair a decent price.

We loved Loro Park. Would highly recommend getting the twin tickets for Loro and Siam Park. We spent about 4 and a half hours there and that was plenty of time. The grounds were so lush with greenery and all of the animal enclosures looked well maintained. We were a bit reluctant to go see the shows due to some ethical reasons but all of the animals seem well loved and cared for. We especially enjoyed the orca and dolphin shows but the sea lion show was also very fun. Would suggest getting to the show areas 10-15 minutes before as seats can fill up quickly.

What a great day out. The shows this place puts on are amazing. I've always wanted to see a whale and it did not disappoint, it was probably the highlight for me. We got wet off the whale which adds to the fun. We also watched the dolphin and sea lion shows which were both really good. I loved the white tiger never seen on before. And the snow penguins were amazing to see. So many highlights and would be good for any age. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience at this park! :) Various animals including gorillas with a lot of attitude, sleeping sloths, even an armadillo as well as panthers! ❤️ The seal show was pretty good too. Food choices could be better but if you’re not too picky, some snacks like popcorn and ice cream are available throughout. Lovely day out and worth the drive. ❤️

This park was very Covid safe. The shows were fabulous! They had plenty of spots to grab a tin of water or drink and snacks. I even had a local beer! We got splashed by the whales! The staff seem to really love their jobs. I enjoyed every minute!

Loro Parque is a Must Visit while you’re in Tenerife. One of the most beautiful park I’ve ever seen before. The animals are lovely and looks very well treated. Magical place to dream to be in a Jungle or in a Forest with those animals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very cool zoo. They are specialized on marine animals and parrots (the most species in a zoo I heard), so don’t expect a lot of big terrestrial mammals like giraffes, elephants and such. The shows they offer are very entertaining and I highly recommend attending at least the one with sea lions. The park has quite a lot to offer so make sure you dedicate around 5-6 hours.

One of the best zoos I have been to ever, and I have been to a lot of them! Their shows are spectacular, especially dolphin and orca. They also have the best penguinarium I have ever seen, could happily spend half a day watching the penguins. Well worth a visit or two!

Impressive zoological area, very clean, with beautiful spots and a wide range of animals. I can't compare it to any other zoo, I've seen before! I recommend to take the Discovery Tour to learn more about the idea of the park, backstage views and more. I liked the shows and explanations on activities for protection of endangered animal species.

Absolutely incredible park! The work these people do is saving animals’ lives and the training they put in with the animals that do the live shows is stunning to watch. There are so many different types of animals here and each one so beautiful, it was a privilege to visit and I’d come back time and time again :)

This park is a credit to u all. Me and my husband visit zoos in every country when we go on holidays all over the world , and loro Park was the best we seen.5⭐. From the layout to cleanliness of the park itself to its shows and animals.. It blew our minds.🤯. Definitely my highlight of my holiday... The dolphins and whale show were fab and u can see the great effort the teams goes to, to make sure the animals are looked after... Also the penguins 🐧enclosure absolutely beautiful, with the fake snow effect just stunning... 👌 Keep up the good work everyone. We'll be bk...🇮🇪🍀

We had a great day at Loro Parque whilst on holiday here. The best parts are definitely the shows so make sure you go to all of them as we did. There are quite a few so it takes a little bit of planning. As a family we were kept entertained all day by the animals despite the intense heat. Would definitely recommend this as a must do whilst you are here and the food is great, a huge selection for everyone.

What a difference from Siam Park. Still crowded but nicely organized enough space and they will inform you if you will fit for the show or not. Animals have great conditions for living and one can see that they love their trainers. All shows are great and each one is a bit different. Loves the fact that Ukraine flag was shown before each show with the hippie no rockets sign. Nice gesture. We came late so had to park quite far - if you want to avoid the parking fee (7euro) you can park above the Siam park - there is a lot of free space even at 10:30. Would recommend to go twice to Loro Park rather than Siam + Loro. We didn’t even manage to see everything during whole day. It was absolutely amazing.

This zoo is absolutely amazing, it has gorgeous animals , and even the pathway from animal to animal is nice to walk, filled with nature and green The orca spectacle is a must go, its so worth it and will have you be amazed by these animals beauty! The only real disadvantage is how crowded it gets , at moments there is just so much people that you cant see the animals anymore without having to wait in line And finding a parking spot is an absolute nightmare! So either come early or try to come with public transport

Amazing zoo, lots of tourists but the orca show was splendid. You have to visit here too, all the people here are nice, some smokers but only like 3 in entire park, you can find fine food in the area and your whole family (if you have one) will love it here. I have been there several times and it has always been an adventure. I love it here and you will too.

Amazing park! The shows of the orcas and the dolphins are mesmerizing but also educational - i learned a lot! The park has many birds and other animals and 4 different shows per day. The animals are taken a good care unlike other zoos i have been to. There are convenient toilets and food places. At the beginning they make you wait in a queue for a photo regardless wether you like it or not - this was the only downside for me in this park. Would definitely visit again some day!

Very wonderful experience , lots of animals and different shows , we just catch one with sea lions which was very funny and the sea lions seems to understand everything was happening, they very smart and funny. We only go to one show because was a 1 h more or less difference between the shows and we was tired so we left . But we want to come back because everything is so beautiful. Also if you want to come back the next days you can buy a ticket there straight away and will be like 13 euros. The first ticket will be like 42 euro for an adult. The experience was definitely worth it .

One of the best Zoo in the world, you can spend all day here wondering around. Loro Parque is a captivating blend of wildlife and entertainment. The diverse range of animals, including the iconic killer whales, parrots, and penguins, offers an immersive experience. The park's commitment to conservation and education is evident, enhancing the overall visit. However, some areas might get crowded, impacting the overall enjoyment. Despite this, Loro Parque remains a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and families alike.

One of the best animal parks I have visited so far. The highlight for visitors is the show with killer whales, dolphins and sea lions. But let's not forget the parrots, of which there are countless in the park, the unique white tigers and many other animals. We had very high expectations from the aquariums with fish. Even so, adults and children alike will be pleased. We were in the park for a total of 6,5 hours and enjoyed almost the whole day watching the animals. I recommend buying tickets online in advance to avoid waiting in line at the ticket office.

Such an amazing day. Lots of walks and a lot of places where you can cool down and eating something. The paths are very beautiful with much greens on both sides. We watched the Orca show and the Dolphin show and both were very good! The trainers looked very professional and trained the animals very good. Kinda lost because of so many ways to go so I recommend a map from the park (we walked trough an area several times. All the animals looked happy. The birds had very small cages but I'm not an expert. Still gonna recommend it, must see where you are on the island.

I wish I could give this park more stars! It was so clean, the animals have amazing enclosures and are extremely well taken care of. I myself am not a huge supporter if zoos but this one takes the trophy for amazing goals and accomplishments. Definitely bring your kids, moms, grandma's and baby mommas. You nor they will be disappointed. It is very worth it to hire a guide as you can see alot of things behind the scenes at te cost of 11€ Hope you enjoy it as much as me

What a great day. Lots and lots of walking. Plenty of shaded ares and cafes to cool off in. We spent roughly 4 to 5 hours here. The shows are exciting and educational. The wale show is a must do, if you don't want to get wet I recommend sitting away from the water 😂

Fantastic place to spend a day in! I do not speak Spanish to any real usability and everyone was very sweet and accommodating. The park is clean and gorgeous. Absolutely magnificent! Price is a bit over in my opinion, but the caretaking of the animals are top notch. We visited every one and except some parrots all animals had a decent to amazing "cage" if you would call it that. Toilets were clean, lunch food was expensive so would advise to bring something with you. They kind of force you at the entrance to take a pic but not obligated to buy. Shows were amazing (parrot one was OK, more for kids), but truly amazing and you can see the good relation with the animals. Overall, one of if not the best zoo there is, not because of variety of animals, but the caretaking and enjoyment.

  • 5/5 Dale E. 2 years ago on Google
Not big for a zoo. Really keen on their birds, you will find them hidden in every bush. The shows are well worth making time for. The paths are pretty regular but may prove difficult (not impossible) for some wheelchairs. Built on the side of a volcano so expect some slopes…Ace

(január 2022)_absolutely magical! and fantastic place, I highly recommend! The only bad thing is that they have food and drink at astronomical prices !!! They all took pictures of us at the entrance, and when we left we had beautiful photos for a fee of € 6.50. don't miss any attraction with dolphins, killer whales and seals it's fantastic!

  • 5/5 Samantha Mary C. 2 years ago on Google
We've been here twice now, it's huge! Lots of well kept animals. Dolphin show & seal show are a must. Bit pricey at €72 for two adults but it really is money well spent 👌

Amazing! The most beautiful park with plenty of animals I have ever seen. There are shows of the whales orka, seals, dolphins and parrots.Everything is professionally done, it's a rich zio and the animals look well treated.

Great place to visit with lots of birds, animals and sea creatures to find. We enjoyed the sealion show and the infamous Loro show where the stars are the beautiful coloured parrots. Been a few years since we last visited and a definite shift towards conservation which is great. A good place for all and plenty of walking. Not much to see outside of the park.

An unforgettable experience! Gorgeous animals in amazing habitats (from the jungle to the ocean, from coral reefs to the Antarctic). The caretakers seem to have a beautiful relationship with the animals. I recommend coming early and seeing the shows first and then discovering the rest of the zoo after. Look out for the "splash zone" sign at the shows or you might get wet. You need a whole day to see the entire zoo. Don't forget drinking water. There are cafes and restaurants, but can be a bit pricey. There are picnic areas and plenty of toilets. The parking lot is very big (4 €/day). And there is another one 5 minutes away on foot. Would recommend for both adults and children. Worth every cent! We didn't buy tickets in advance and were there at 10 a.m. on a work day and we didn't need to wait.

After a stressful start of not being able to get our QR codes for entry due to an error between either TUI or loro park the staff at the front were fantastic in helping us to be able to sort this out and get us in! Great friendly staff. The shows were by far the best part, seeing how loved the animals truly are here was great!

Worth visiting Tenerife solely for this place alone. Huge park, with almost no empty places, everywhere you can see something, at least a parrot cage. Feels like they really care about animals they hold there. Another thing are the shows: just make sure not to miss any, they are just breathtaking. Sea lions, killer whales, dolphins and parrots. One tip: park directly at the park, don't get fooled by anyone staying 200m before asking you money to park in a free parking. The parking at Loro Park is 4€ a day. Verdict: 100/10. #1 Zoo in the world.

  • 4/5 Julie A. 1 year ago on Google
I remembered it as having very small cages for the animals. So I asked what it's like now before I went. I wasn't disappointed. Nice place with friendly staff. The dolphins have to be the highlight. And remember, if you don't want to get wet when you see the whale's, then don't sit at the front. 😀

#1 zoo in the world? YES!!! What a day out. Can't fault it at all. The presentations of the animals are world class and are mainly educational which is great and it's not just about using the animals for a show. All exhibits are clean and full of detailed information. Would I recommend this? Absolutely

Plenty to do lots of shows. Gift shops a bit limited. Food reasonably priced. A nice day out buying your tickets in advance let’s you skip the major lines. Very hard to see the animals as it’s so crowded but the lions and gorillas well worth the crush. The entry photo was only €7.50 but no ticket number given so a game of find your photo in a sea of photos at the end took more time than expected

Awesome experience!!! Beautiful place, full of so many animals and what's most important the people working at Loro really care about them. Every visit support researches and through various ways, helps animals around the world. I was really pleased that every show had meaning and some, less happy scenes showed how important are we all for ecosystems and the welfare of living beings on our planet. Great place, great, eco message to the visitors and gorgeous, happy animals. Come and see it yourself - you won't regret it!!! Loro Parque crew - thank you ALL!

A must see 'Animal Park' it's like a zoo but more.... The grounds, animal enclosures etc are kept superb. The Dolphin and Whale Shows were really really good we didn't manage to get to see the Sea Lions as we missed the time schedules but saw everything else on display there. We particularly liked the Penguins, thought their 'environment' was lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Amazing experience. The animal shows were fantastic and the whole park is so amazing. All the staff were fantastic, amazing animal park. Clean and very professional. The animal look like they are well looked after and loved. Small market inside the park was good as well as the pizza restaurant we had lunch at. We paid 54 Euros per adult which included a 15 Euro allowance in two on site restaurant. It's 40 Euros per adult other wise. Would love to go back and see again, highly recommend.

We came back from Romania 2nd time, to visit with kids. The shows are amazing, it's entertainment with animals that you don't find anywhere else. The way they treat animals, how they keep all the places clean and the variety of animals you find here, makes this entire experience unforgettable!

Wasn’t so keen to go along initially BUT I’m so glad we did, it was a fantastic day trip!! As a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (8&3) it wasn’t too much at all. There was plenty seating for picnics and just the right he amount of coffee stops, serving food items and ice lollies. Toilet facilities and play stops were easy to locate and never too far away, they overall park layout was VERY well thought out. The array of animals (plus species they have saved from extinction) was wonderful. We miraculously managed one of every live show in our visit and they truly were spectacular. Throughout the park, they also offer (through the glass) viewing of the labs they use as incubators/surgeries&cultivation - the entry price is clearly well spent! If we were staying longer in Tenerife, we’d definitely go back (they have a reduced price ticket return offer). Happy, well catered to and hugely loved animals here 🐒🦍🐆🐢🐧🦇🐳🦜🦛🦩

It was too busy for our liking. Bordering on being overcrowded. Been before but never like this. Because it was hot it was very uncomfortable . The shows are great and there is lots to see. Free bus from Puerto is excellent

An amazing visit. Beautiful enclosures and such beautiful animals, clearly looked after. Definitely a good day out and can easily make it round the park twice. The animal shows for the Dolphins and Whales are beautiful, I was sceptical of these but the money and effort they put into these animals it really shows. We got our ticket through our visit from Siam Park as it was cheaper and paid for a transfer through an excursion place.

Excellent day out, this was our second time at Loro Parque, but the first with our daughter. She thoroughly enjoyed her day, and was very excited to see the Penguins, Dolphins (her first time seeing them), and Parrots. The Sea Lion show was great and is still my missus' favourite, but for the love of god Loro Parque please shorten the CPR scene, my daughter was in tears thinking that something was wrong with big Sea lion, it nearly ruined the show for her (we had to spend a few minutes assuring her he was fine).

This place is incredible if you love animals. They have dolphin, sea lion, ocras, and bird shows, which are all unique, amazing and at the same time educational. A full day flies by. There are numerous restaurants on site that are a little expensive as expected. You. An feel the love that the park has for each of the animals and this is clearly returned by each animal. Overall if your in tenerife it's a must see.

I went there for my birthday and if you love animals of different kinds as well as watching some very intelligent and funny shows with the animals this is the place to go. I've been here a few times now and each time the shows get better and better. Plus this parque has helped so many animals and does amazing charity work so I'm always happy to help support them

Loro Parque in Tenerife is an extraordinary zoo that deserves an exciting visit. This park is a true haven for animal lovers, offering a wide range of fascinating species from around the world. The facilities are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for the animals. One of the most remarkable things about Loro Parque is the dolphin and orca shows. These intelligent and magnificent creatures showcase their amazing abilities, leaving everyone in awe. Additionally, the parrot performances are entertaining and engaging, providing a display of vibrant colors and astonishing skills. Beyond the shows, there are plenty of areas where guests can stroll and observe the animals up close. From elegant penguins to graceful sea turtles, every animal appears to be well cared for with great attention to detail. Loro Parque doesn't just focus on the animals. The park is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, with well-maintained gardens and breathtaking views of the ocean. There are also restaurants and cafes offering delicious food and beverages, allowing visitors to relax and refuel during their visit. In conclusion, Loro Parque is an exceptional zoo that provides an incredible experience for the whole family. From the extraordinary animals to the engaging shows and enchanting atmosphere, this park is a must-visit when in Tenerife. Worth 100% all money

We had a great time at Loro Parque, the free shows were an absolute bonus! We were expecting to have to pay extra for them and we didn’t need to! There was plenty to see, and we did the whole park in about 4 hours in time for our bus journey back! Would definitely recommend going to all my family and friends!

Fantastic day out, animals aside the sheer cleanliness and presentations of the gardens was amazing. Enclosures where the cleanest and best presented I have ever seen from any attraction. Shows where top class whilst spreading awareness , with aquarium being a personal highlight.👌

I think it is the most advertised place on the whole Island. You will see Loro Parque ads basically everywhere! Is it worth visiting? Yes. You can find a lot of nice animals there, dolphin and orca shows, good for kids and adults. The place was really crowded. Maybe we had a bad luck or maybe it is like this all the time, can't tell, but a crazy amount of people there was a fact. The infrastructure is great and well maintained. Plenty of parking spaces (5 EUR for a spot).

Best zoo I've been to! No matter that is quite small but it has so many things to offer! The price for entry is totally worth it, I saw the nicest expositions and the cleanest environment for animals. Shows were moderate and animal friendly, we gain so many new information in very nice way. I can definitely recommend the visit. Even food you can choose healthy or not so healthy options, buffet offers both.

  • 5/5 Paurav S. 8 months ago on Google
Probably the best zoo in the world of you consider the show that they offer. The zoo overall is not that big and if you plan it properly, you can visit the zoo with all its shows in one afternoon. The dolphin and orca shows are out of this world. Most amazing experience!

  • 5/5 Evan T. 8 months ago on Google
This is a very nice zoo. It gets very crowded, but they handle the crowds well. The dolphins and orcas are really fun to watch, and the bird sanctuary is awesome. Definitely a cool place to visit.

One of the best experiences I've ever had, the family loved it. I loved it. The staff here was amazing! I'm very grateful for their help, they were very helpful throughout which made the day even better. They were so helpful, especially to my wife who has a disability. I would definitely recommend this and I would definitely love to go back.

The sea lion performance saved me giving 2 stars. Very poorly planned map. At some point passed same spot 4 times. We had lunch at one of the restaurants. Self service. Food was tasty and reasonable priced. Advice to others: download the map with performance times in advance and plan where to go first. 20 min at least prior performance. Overall, not bad, but would not go back.

  • 4/5 Kasia W. 8 months ago on Google
Fab place! However, I think there should be a limit of people allowed in at one time. We were always in a hurry to catch the next show, so we left 5 minutes early just to make it at all. There were places so narrow that it was difficult to squeeze through, because some people were waiting in a long queue, others just wanted to move on, and still others were going back in the opposite direction. There were terrible "traffic jams" and misunderstandings. I think it's better to go there in the autumn and winter months. However, fantastic trainers and friendly service. Wonderful, well-kept vegetation, flowers and friendly animals compensate for the crowd, rush and fatigue. Worth to go!

  • 4/5 Isla M. 8 months ago on Google
Absolutely amazing!!! Only bad is that I was there during a heatwave 🤦‍♀️ It got quite humid. I saw all shows and they were amazing and in all of the enclosures you could see the animals. It was packed with people and the queues were slightly chaotic but otherwise, I would recommend. Get the free “train” too - quick and convenient.

Loro Parque is a world famous zoo with many attractions and animals. It’s really beautiful but when we visited in august there were simply too many people. Other people in our family visited in march and it was fine. It was very difficult to manoeuvre with an infant and a small child with that many people. The park is big and it takes a whole day to discover. Prices are mid with guided tours costing much more than the simple entry tickets.

  • 5/5 Filip P. 7 months ago on Google
I will start by saying that there are indeed some moral questions regarding animals in zoos, especially big apes, big cats or dolphins. On the positive side they take care of some of their needs, food, health, on the negative side they are deprived of their wild environments. I will add that it is also hard to protect something you only see on TV, so hopefully it makes you a little more responsible if not involved. Regarding the park itself, it looks meticulously arranged and the wide variety of life has left me in awe. From creatures living in a drop of water to alien looking ones, you get to see the astonishing and marvelous life which we are (still) sharing this planet with.

It was such a lovely place to visit, and all the animals are well and truly looked after. Brilliant day out opens at 9.30pm and closes at 6pm. Food restaurant on site. High recommended you visit. We will return again.

What an amazing zoo/park!!! We chose this as an excursion from royal Caribbean and didn’t know what to expect… it turns out it was amazing and I really hope anyone reading this review goes there and you’ll realise it’s more than a park, it’s a day out and it has animals that you can actually see unlike many zoos. Pricing is great, only downside is the signage can be abit confusing around the park but get a paper map and you’ll be alright. Food is great and many little food and drinks places around the park make it easy to make a day of it.

Fantastic zoo and well worth a visit. They have loads of shows,Orcas dolphins etc some of which have been rescued as part of a conservation program. If penguins are your thing then you will love the penguin house. It has loads to see and do. Did I mention the tunnel with rays fish and sharks that you can walk through. Enough from me just go and see it you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic. There are lots of different animals to see, but if you like parrots, this is the place. They do so many different breeding programs to help various species, especially birds. It's well worth a visit. The food at the restaurant is good too and reasonably priced.

Amazing zoo! One of the best I've been to. It's very well maintained and animals are well looked after. Make sure you book tickets in advance, and it's cheaper to get a combined ticket with Siam Park. Here you can see a wide variety of animals - there is the penguin house, lions, tigers, capybaras, fish, birds and so many more. The whole park is so green and they try to be as close to the animals' natural environment. They are part of animal preservation and research programs. They do 4 types of shows with different animals - sea lions, dolphins, orcas, and parrots. The aquarium is also very impressive. You can get something to eat in the kiosks around the zoo or have a proper meal in the food hall. There is a variety of meat, pizza, paella, and drinks. There are also a few nice gift shops. You can easily spend the whole day there. It's such a great experience.

Definitely recommend buying tickets in advance. It was very busy today and several of the shows were full. Food locations were full/needing a wait to enter. Would recommend to bring your own picnic /food. Shows are good (they recommend to get there 15mins in advance of the show), animals look well taken care of. Theres also lots of development ongoing so I'd definitely return if you've not visited in a while.

Am amazing zoo with great facilities. The enclosures all look really high quality and spacious - as far as can be in a zoo - and we liked the stories around conservation and research to save animal species. The shows are great, and it’s very easy to spend the whole day here without realising the time!
