The most beautiful, incredible park I have ever seen. A local said it is like Rome’s version of Central Park, but I think it is so much more than that. My breath was taken away as I walked around—the fountains, statues, and nature were incredible to be immersed in. It was quiet as I entered through the gates rather than where the buses and taxis are, so I would recommend venturing off further into the park if you want to be around less people and enjoy nature. I wish I had something this beautiful at home and am endlessly jealous of the locals with their wonderful city.

Best place to make an entire day of sightseeing or just walking around discovering the whole Villa. Small lake inside to rent a boat and also bike or golf cars to make a fast tour inside. Some food trucks and small coffee places are inside so there is no need to go outside to eat something. Small cinema inside. Some monuments to see all around. Greta place for Picnics in summer.

What a nice garden in the middle of the most beautiful city I've ever been. Rome has so many monuments, and pretty houses, a ton of beautiful architecture, that we completely forgot about visiting any gardens. Out of nowhere while moving inside Rome we found this garden and just decided to come inside. It was way more interesting and pretty than we thought! I recommend walking a bit in this amazing escape on such a big city

Absolutely beautiful park. It's enormous and there's lots to see. It's very clean and an amazing space to have a picnic. Had a great time. We render bicycles to be able to see every inch of the garden.

One of the nicest parks I’ve ever visited in my life, it’s truly and beautifully breathtaking place to spend the day. Going to a walk, walking a dog, reading a book, having a picnic. Whatever it is you decide to do here you will most certainly enjoy it. I’ve been several times and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. It’s go lots to do and is, is very big and beautiful. I would definitely recommend visiting this park if you have it get the chance. You won’t be disappointed.

I love Villa Borghese park! It has amazing views of Rome, is huge, and completely free! Take a walk, ride/rent a bike, have a picnic - you can do anything here! They even have food trucks, small restaurants, small carnival rides for children, fountains, etc. You can fill your bottle up for free from the water spouts, look out over rome, and even leave by walking down the Spanish Steps. Highly recommend!

this is my favorite destination in this city. green space, many beautiful trees, even in winter, there are rows of romantic yellow leaves, dog walking area, bicycle rental service. the minus point is that there are not too many stone benches and the lake is under repair, can not visit. I can walk here for a day without getting bored. Also get to see the police riding horses and some very nice architecture. worth a visit when in rome, for those who are bored of roman architecture with lots of rocks, sculptures, or nature lovers.

If you are in Rome and are looking for a break from tourists, this is a lovely oasis worth visiting, especially before dusk. Besides the interesting architecture, sculptures, pathways, and assortment of plants, you can also see the bright green parakeets of Rome flying and singing everywhere. It was truly an enchanting and peaceful place, lots of people riding bikes and walking dogs or simply enjoying the scenery with a beverage. Glad I went!

This was a pretty cool place. It's a large 198-acre park in Rome with a pond and lots of walking and biking trails. There's a nice art museum at the main Villa, and other structures throughout the area. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon or an evening away from the crazy crowds in Rome central.

The visit was absolutely delightgul. We had the chance to have a personal guide with us and the tour was very very nice. The richness of this building is just incredible. You can easily spend 3 hours in. I highly recommend to visit the park all around, which is also magnificent. I recommend.

Nice park and free to wander through though most attractions will have an extra cost, such as the Galleria, zoo, bike rental, and boat rental. There are many grassy areas, shady trees, and benches throughout to be able to enjoy the space. Several refreshment stands are also scattered inside, and a couple toilets near the park’s entrances and exits (though may cost money, like the one near Piazza del Popolo for €1,20).

Awesome place for walking, running, spending a pleasant time with your loved ones. The park is huge and like another world with in. It is easily accessible through bus and metro. Stunning views with parks, museums, cinema, zoo etc.., so it is like a one stop shop for enjoying a pleasant day.

Huge and beautiful park. Spent the whole afternoon there and managed to see an amazing sunset few steps from the park. If you go there, make sure you get a ride on one of those 2-sided bikes, so fun and helps you get throughout the park and see everything!

This park is an absolute gem, situated at the heart of the city and standing as a must-see attraction. The villa within the park is a testament to artistic brilliance, sculptures, monuments, and fountains created by renowned artists. The landscaping features ancient trees, serene ponds, Italian gardens, and expansive open spaces. Highly recommended.

The park is a pinnacle of beauty and a gem of Rome it offers stunning views of scenic trees, masterpieces, monuments and so much more. It has a lovely pond in the centre with paddle boats and beautiful trails that are well maintained and very clean! The park can get quite busy in the evenings so I would recommend going in the mornings, it’s very tranquil and beautiful and very peaceful to walk in.

Gorgeous park in the city, with a cute small artificial lake, where is possible to rent a roaring boat. Around the park you will find quite few bar and truck for a simple break. During sunny days, I recommend a picnic or simply laying on the grass and enjoy the surroundings

In Rome, this is the best place to spend some time with nature. Huge trees and traffic free walking zone with some historic buildings are attracting travellers. Villa Borghese, gardens, lakes, and Some museums are beautiful. It's a must visiting tourist attractions in Rome. Loved it.

It is an amazing place to sit, keep cool, and breathe after a hectic day; the views across the city are awesome from up there. All I will say is watch out for the rose sellers. They are a nuisance. Don't let them push you into taking a rose. Be stern with them as they are persistent. Other than that the park is beautiful 😍

This place will forever be in our memories as I proposed to my soon to be wife here. The place is massive! Very beautiful and calm. Fantastic views of the city in certain spots. If you love the outdoors definitely worth a visit . Also rent one of those blue electric bikes. They are so much fun. Great way to see the whole garden

A definite MUST SEE when in Rome!!! We’ve gone 3 times and the beautiful works of art never cease to amaze us. The collection of sculptures, paintings, frescos, and decor make the Villa Borghese museum an incredible place to visit.

Beautiful park! We took a tour on a small bus/cart and didn’t realize how big this park was. Strongly recommend doing the small tour. They also rent golf carts, bikes etc. There are many small stands that sell snacks. If you’re planning on visiting the museum, I highly recommend buying tickets online prior to your visit, maybe even a few days before. They sell out very quickly!

The park is beautiful in the morning, has a lot if shade during the day and sunset view point in the evening. Highly recommend if you are tired of sightseeing and want to relax while still having Rome atmosphere. Pines in the eastern part of the park are gorgeous. The only problem, there are no public toilets!

Amazing, big park with breathtaking views of Rome and plenty of shadowy paths to explore. There is a lake in the middle of the park where you can rent a boat. It is a nice and quiet break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also possible to rent bikes and bicycle wagons if you are not up for walking and want to explore the whole park. There is a zoo at the norhern part of the park

Big park with plenty of shade and space to walk, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can rent a little cycle buggy for 4 people or a boat on the miniature lake. The park itself is very arid and dry this time of year, so bring a blanket if you want to sit on the crispy ground. At one end an impressive piazza and some small food stands throughout.

The grounds of Villa Borghese is lovely. It is huge and on a nice, sunny day it is great to walk around. In fact, you will find locals dog walking or running in the park. You can rent bicycles and a pedicabs to ride around. There are a few interesting spots and you need a good map or Google maps to find… for instance the theatre that’s same as London’s Globe… never saw it. But stumbled on the Zoo, the Museum of Modern Art ( outside on main road) and another entrance that had a pond where people can rent boats to row alongside ducks. There are buskers too. A good 2 hours of meandering. If still energetic, walk to Villa Medici and from there, onwards to Spagna or Spanish Steps. You will come across a lovely view of Rome from the top.

Great park to stroll! Nice to walk there and see a lot of sights, but if you want to see most of it better rent a bicycle from one of the stands inside the park. Plan your visit to the gallery as there is cue and they only take people inside on specific hours.

This park must be one of the best on the planet. Sadly, due to the people I was with I had to go to the modern art museum which wasn't personally for me. But the lakes/ponds here are very pleasant and have turtles in them. Also the structures and gardens are great.

This is a great place to see the sunset. It is a unique place because it enhances the light of the sun towards the whole piazza. I advise you to go at 19:00 on the afternoon. If you are lucky you can enjoy a show. It changes throughout the days.

Exceptional park inner of Rome, with lots of facilities and services. Large parks with greenery have positive impact on the city. Villa Borghese park boasts a beautiful artificial lake which you can cross with a boat. Inside the park there is a coffee shop and you have the opportunity to watch several artistic performances or to exercise in various ways.

Just a nice quiet walk around a shaded park. Places to sit. A small cafe. Great views across the city, and if you've walked up the Spanish steps then it's worth a look. You can come down into Piazza Popolo and walk back down to the Spanish steps, passing lots of shops on the way.

Lovely park in the heart of the city. We rented a golf cart to go around and 1 hour was not even enough to see half of it. Too big to walk around so bicycle or golf cart is a must. And booking in advance is needed. There is also a small pond where you can rent a rowing boat. There are many food trucks where you can buy food, water, snacks etc.

Great place to take a walk and get in touch with some green. Also, the shadow below the tall trees will. Be a good shelter for the warm weather of summer. There are nice spots to buy something to drink or to grab a bite. There is a paid and very clean toilett near the restaurant in the center, La Casina dell'Orologio. There are also bikes for rental.

The grounds are very nice. A shady stroll through many paths transecting this vastly green place. Often times where the paths cross there is either a fountain or a statue placed in there. I'm sure a long way from its botanical origins I didn't see any large collection of flowers but it's already the beginning of Fall season. A man made lake a short distance from a cafe within the grounds provides a calming visual field where one can rent paddle boats. Don't miss the Museum of Modern Art a short distance away.

We booked tickets 2 weeks in advance, and there was just one last time spot 17:00 to 19:00 left! Its was great! Since visitors count is limited and most of rooms are spacious- people were scattered around scarcely, making time enjoing breathtaking frescos and art silent, unobstructed and almost meditative. Tip: If you go in museum near closing time- use restrooms on entry! Its closed after last admission and there are no restrooms in all of the vast park around!

I enjoyed combination of classic art with modern woks (by Damian Hirst) and it made Villa Borghese experience special.

One of the best collections of art in one place. Absolutely stunning words can't describe it you just have to go. Trust me it's worth it. And the park it's in is massive and has amazing views of Rome. A must visit guys

Large beautiful park with plenty to do for all. I really enjoyed the tranquility of this place…a nice break from the large crowds at the normal tourists attractions. Highly recommend putting this on your itinerary list to visit!

Ci vadano i laureati in chiacchiere!.

(Translated by Google) I like it a lot because there is a lot of control by the police and carabinieri. It is more well-kept than other villas in Rome, even cleaner (Original) Mi piace molto perché c'è molto controllo da parte di polizia e carabinieri.

(Translated by Google) The Parco dei Daini is always beautiful and full of children. The "Back to Nature" path, with installations and "dressed" trees, brought a bit of curiosity among the Romans. And also a suggestive installation, made of wire, in the shape of a building, inspired a beautiful video of a song by Diodato! Here is the city that changes, even in difficult times like this!

If you need a nice park for outfit, this is the great place! Greek Philosophers' marbles are set and located, all the way in. I strongly recommend this place. A ride on four wheels bike may also be a nice way to explore the whole place. Kids friendly place!

Breathtaking. Amazing. Unbelievable. I've had the honor to have visited several museums over the years and this may be the most magnificent collection in the world. Every room has a unique sculpture or painting by a famous artist. Don't miss an opportunity to visit the museum and the gardens.

Gorgeous park & gardens in the middle of Rome, full & rich of history - well worth a visit. We hired a 4 wheeled bike for an hour & did the whole park with plenty of stop offs for photos. Lots of people, dogs & families visiting, some having a picnic in the vast grounds.

A very nice, huge park full of trees, interesting buildings, a small zoo, a small lake with ducks where you can rent a boat. It's a great escape from the city, lots of tracks to run or walk through, shadowy areas to chill out and cool down during the hot summer days. Well maintained and free for the most part :)

Wonderful spot in the center of Rome. Here you can relax, chill, run, walk the dog, sunbathe and eat icecream. Several museums and the Zoo is also located in the park.

You could spend a whole day in these beautiful gardens and still not manage to see everything! I recommend heading down towards Piazza del Popolo for a fantastic viewpoint over the piazza and of Rome in general. This viewpoint is a few minutes walk away from the Spanish Steps

Heaven on earth. The perfect place to hangout on a Sunday, (or any day of the week, really). Rent a "bici" for an hour of fun, somewhat reckless cycling, and easy discovery of the gardens.

  • 4/5 Mel G. 6 months ago on Google
To find a taxi on the way back is a bit of a challenge.

Beautiful art exhibit of paintings, mosaics, statues, and sculptures. Come see the stories unfold. Elevator and wheelchair accessible. Private tour guides are the way to go. Don’t do the tour too late or they will close out the rooms before you see everything.

It was a fantastic experience! The boat operators were attentive and helpful. We paid 4 euros per person for 20 minutes. If you’re in Rome, you must see this place before you leave.

Great place but lots of attractions for tourists, so you loose what the nature brings us… Everything is incredibly expensive (eg. The zoo).

Great museum, very friendly staff. I’ve had great time here. Only problem is the lightning, makes it really hard to see a lot of paintings, including Caravaggio. Which I was very surprised about.

It was very much raining, when I visited, so I didn't often see anyone else in the park while I was walking around. It definitely worth it, I think the park is amazing. (And the view from there!)
