The park is an eclectic mix of a zoo, birds of prey show, paddleboats, zip lines, a maze designed in Dorset, UK and a museum in a beautifully restored Hacienda that housed a young Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz. And to top it all off, a volcano exhibit given the proximity to the Ixtacihuatl and Popocatepetl. Our guide was young, impressive and quite knowledgeable. Well worth the visit!!!

Package start at $235 pesos. Forced facemask wear for this outdoor park. Restaurant food sucks-Avoid. don’t fall for the price reduction for eating at the buffet. Workers are cordial but they lack sooo much basic common sense or reasoning so be prepared to follow the rules. Will never come back. Not worth it.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE, prices reasonable. Loved seeing the camels 🐫 only thing not allowing a 5 star rating is that only one food/drink stand was open when they have a few throughout the park.

The place is in the countryside in a little town called Amecameca, the views are the best with volcanos and snow. Now, the not so good thing is customer service. Everyone's rude. I personally had an issue with the restaurant and the security at the gate to the parking lot. INTERNET is a big issue, so I don't think you can work there. The price too high and not really worth it with the stuff they offer. I've been in some of the best hotels in the WORLD. I know what I'm talking about. Definitely room for a lot of improvement or low the price.

To clarify, this is not a hotel. This is a very historic place in Mexico. I just wish more information was available in English. It is interesting to see a 400 year old building mixed with a petting zoo and zip lines but it makes it super fun to visit. The kids had a blast. Bathrooms were clean. People were friendly. The only downside is that they don't let you take pictures with some of the animals. The animal show was entertaining. The medical team was good. We had a small allergic reaction to one of the animal fur and the staff was responsive. Who knew one of us was allergic to rabbit fur. The volcano show was okay. Nothing extraordinary. They used strobe lights heavily and there was no warning for those with sensitivities.

Everything fine, except there are no changing rooms. Restrooms are too far from everything. Attractions are awesome!

Great hotel and very quaint. The continental breakfast and the buffet (for an upgraded charge) are excellent by offering local dishes and regional specialties. The views are immaculate. You’ll enjoy your stay here at La Hacienda Panoaya.

Hacienda is a park with 2 museums inside, animals and many activities. Different option of prices depending on what you want to do. View from volcanos is beautiful.

We stayed there just one night, the place is okay, enough for one night. The service and staff are very nice, the day I had to check out I felt very bad because of a gastroenteritis and they let me stay a bit longer in my room.

The kids enjoyed our time there, but several things were not open, as it was Friday. The animal show was canceled due to rain, but wasn't announced that it was canceled. Several people sat around waiting 30 minutes for it to start. Not sure why it wasn't rescheduled. They took the giraffe inside without announcing, so we couldn't feed it. Price should be lowered when everything isn't open.

Great Park to have fun with your family. No food, no pets allowed inside. If you exit the park, you have to pay again. Which is bad if you plan to have a long stay, because the restaurant may be too expensive, Didn't check it, but Hacienda's page mentions buffet is worth $325 pesos. Entrance fee includes most activities. But to use the pool, bubble bath and baby animal petting zoo you have to pay a little extra. In case you need, swuimsuits are available to buy. Labyrinth is fun and worths the trip, but there are many people, so you may end up following someone else. Feeding zoo is a great activity for the family, but food bags are too expensive in my opinion. $30 pesos and is a little bag with 100gr of food. Food gets over very quickly, and you have to run to escape from animals (that adds a little fun). There is a bouncy zone for toddlers. And a giant slide for the whole family. I didn't try, but there is a jiraffe feeding zone, reptiles and other animals zone. Like a zoo. My intention was to buy a Christmas tree in the forest and enter free to the park, but that promo is only available from monday to friday. I arrived sunday very late, 3pm, park closes at 5pm (there was a lot of traffic). But the time expended was enough for my kids to love it. Will certainly come back. Maybe my recommendation will be arriving at 9 in the morning, and leave the place at 2 or 3pm, to have meal outside.

The room was super quiet and clean! Loved that. However, a few things happened during our stay which are against what they advertise. 1. The door didn't lock. Front desk told me twice that they had fixed it so i climbed the stairs twice, both times the door opened with just a push again. Down the stairs to insist. It took maintenance 3 tries over a few hours to finally just change the lock entirely. (That included me having to climb the stairs with our luggage at least 3 times; one of the front desk men helped me two of those times thankfully). 2. The sides of the kiddie and adult pools are covered in algae. 3. The water in both pools was cold. My daughter kept shivering. I couldn't even last long in the water myself. I expected warm water due to their advertising "climatizado" but it was definitely not the case. Only the air in the covered pool was warm. No swimming for us. 😕 4. The TV didn't work until someone came to fix it. They said the box had disconnected itself.
