Very salty seafood. Could it mean it's not very fresh? For that price I expected better.

Well, it's seems to be a good restaurant. The good thing is, they have a free parking place, an open space kitchen, where you can see how they work. It's quite big inside, two floors, fresh fish... But, it can be a quite noisy restaurant, crewed, inefficient service, like, I needed to ask for forks and plates... Unconformltabel tables and chairs. The food it's ok, but for the price you pay I think it's unfair. So, I think it's over rated restaurant.

Big place, normally I do not call to do a reservation. They have good selection of normal Portuguese dishes and quite ok portion sizes. I recommend it if in area.

It's not bad... but it's also not good. It all started on the wrong foot with the table reservation. Forget about the online reservation or the reservation emails. The owners don't even pay attention to them. And when you call them to reserve a table... you don't get to choose at what time you'll get the table. Their answer will be something like "be here at this time on this day... otherwise, no table for you!" It's like it's the soup guy from Seinfeld is picking up the phone. And this is why I'm rating the service with 3 stars. When this is your first contact with any restaurant... it doesn't matter how good the service is at the table. The experience is already tainted. Then we have... the food. It's average, at best. It looks good... but it doesn't impress in any way. We had the shrimp bread pudding, the squid and shrimp kebab, and the fried squid Setubal style. None of them were really good. They were just ok. The worst, for me, were the appetizers. The stuffed crab was awful. It's like they are washing the crab heads after every day, and filling them with an awful-tasting paste. It's just terrible. Conclusion: opt for the simplest dishes and you'll be fine. Don't expect too much, regardless of how the restaurant looks.

Huge place and has a parking lot which keeps it tidy. The kitchen is also a good deal size for such big space. The portions of food are too big considering you are coming alone or just with another person. My case I was meeting friends for a birthday dinner party so most got the grilled mix meat where you are brought a plate with different meats to grill on a good size portable grill to the table. Others choose calamari and amongst other menu choices. I was also onto calamari where I found it to be too much for 1 person, had its skin dry and tough with little salt to it too. I would say the size of the restaurant impressed me but not yet the food. However, it is a good place to have a try on other dishes for sure. Price is also average when compared with others in the main cities or suburban areas. The dos seems super fresh so that is a good point too. Oh I have to say that it does look like you can reserve a place or simply be in a queue outside the door to get a seat. So choose a good time and possibly book in advance .

Only good for the friends of the place... for the rest well you can imagine....

We ordered the meat board for two, and the shrimps were cold and poorly seasoned. The meat was plentiful but nothing to write home about. Nothing really stood up. Service was well mannered. I ordered the Mar da Palha coffee, which comes with 3 mini desserts, and they were all very well made. It's a bit expensive for what it is.
